Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Bendis | The band “Bendis” was a Niteroi Ska, Hardcore and Punk Rock band that emerged in 1995. Its last line-up included musicians Bruno GI Joe (vocals), João “PX” Pinaud (guitar and vocals), Lucas Benevides (guitar ), Maurício Machado (drums) and Ricardo Sá (bass and vocals), with Ricardo being the only remaining member of the original line-up. The band was named after a Portuguese version of the skate video “Ban This”, by Powell Peralta. “Bendis” began his work playing an unknown rhythm, Ska, in bars and parties in Niterói, São Gonçalo and Rio de Janeiro, and soon recorded his first demo tape on K7 called “O Início”. In 1999, Bendis played for the first time in another state, at the 4th Edition of the Goiânia Noise Festival. After that, he also played in São Paulo, Curitiba and Minas Gerais. In September 2001, the band entered the studio and recorded five songs from the EP “A Primeira Vez é Inesquecível” (2002), when bassist Ricardo became the official composer. At the end of the same year, the band Bendis made its second performance in São Paulo, including a debut at Hangar 110, a mandatory stage in the country's rock scene. He also began to frequent websites, magazines and newspapers. Still in 2001, guitarist Lucas joined the band to improve the rare solos in the middle of SKA's chords. In 2003, Bendis played in cities such as Araruama, Petrópolis and Rio Bonito. He also participated in a four-show tour in the interior of São Paulo and, in 2004, played at Bar do Blues, São Gonçalo; Bunker – RJ; Jet Club da Barra – RJ and in Araruama. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Antonio Ministeri | Antonio Ministeri is an Italian composer. His compositions are a combination of elements from minimalist music blended with the use of synthesizers and samplers. Piano and string quartet find a new place within electronic textures born of complex arpeggiators and wide sound spaces. The result is a rarefied, yet complex world. Light, hazy, but always expressive. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Manzoor Ahmad Khan Niazi | Ustad Manzoor Ahmed Khan Niazi has passed away today. He was 98. He was, both age-wise and stature-wise the senior-most Qawwal in the Indo-Pak Subcontinent. He had one of the most instantly recognizable and absolutely, mellifluously endearing voices in all of Qawwali. He was the leader of the most phenomenally gifted, albeit short-lived Qawwali group of the last century, a Supergroup which included his cousins Munshi Raziuddin Khan. Ustad Bahauddin Khan and Iftekhar Ahmed Nizami, and whose surviving recordings seem to date from a time and place that's almost too phenomenally wonderful that merely listening to them sometimes feels like an act of desecration. His last recordings, from when he was 90 years old, still carried the same verve, the same 'taazgi' as his recordings from the '60s His was the voice that first sang Maulana Jami's "Naseema" and Nawab Hilm's "Yaad Hai Kuch Bhi Hamaari Kanhaiyya" to me, and even today I can scarcely appreciate these two canonical Qawwali kalaams in any other Qawwal's voice. With Niazi Sb's passing closes the chapter of the Golden Age of Pakistani Qawwali. He was a predecessor of, and later a contemporary of Nusrat, The Sabri Brothers, Aziz Mian Qawwal, Bakhshi Salamat Qawwal, Aziz Ahmed Warsi, Jafar Hussayn Khan Badayuni and ALL the Qawwals of the latter three quarters of the twentieth century. He survived them all well into the twenty-first century before finally returning to his Maker | |

| Search | Add | 3 | More Love Ensemble | More Love Ensemble, a self-proclaimed baseless jazz fusion band, is a result of many years of previous collaboration if it's members that created their own sensibility and expression. In The Ensemble vocalist Melita Lovričević is joined by talented and renowned jazz musicians : pianist Petar Ćulibrk and drummer Enos Kugler who are also friends, co-travellers, creating their own interpretation on some of their favourite jazz standards, traditional songs, spirituals and originals, because jazz is a story that needs to be told and a voyage to be taken. Different energies that every member contributes creates a final blend for harmonies that can only come to pass when they are joined together. Jazz, world music and beyond. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Gatos Del Mundo | Gatos Del Mundo | [a=Gatos Del Mundo] is an art-punk trio from Croatia. The band was formed in April 2012. Gatos Del Mundo are: [a=Pavle Valerjev], [a=Krešimir Vunić] and [a=Ivan Milin]. All three have played an important role in the Croatian underground music scene. Valerjev and Vunić battled for ten years as members of the noise-rock group [a1567623], while Milin banged the drums as a member of several punk bands (Trn u oku). [a=Gatos Del Mundo] has their own approach to punk rock and their aim is to make it unexpected and exciting. Adopting the aesthetics of hardcore-punk, art-rock, psychedelia and avant-garde composition they create their own unique expression. Besides the standard drum-bass-guitar line-up of every punk trio, they do not hesitate to use electronic loops, synthesizers and vocal effects. Gatos del Mundo’s vibrant approach has already made some impact on the local scene. August 2013 saw the release of their Transmitter EP. Right now they are planning their first LP release. |

| Search | Add | 3 | vMarkus | vMarkus is a Finnish-American electronic musician, composer, and performer. In the early 1980s, he began experimenting with combining found sounds and modified pianos with electronic noises created using random pieces of Radio Shack equipment. His first band was the electro-goth duo Burning Kafka, who released one cassette-single, as well as a demo cassette. Differences in musical direction saw the group disband, and vMarkus went on to join the industrial band Crocodile Shop, mainly as a live keyboardist. As the band often jokes, he never left. Taking on added music composing responsibilities, vMarkus worked in close collaboration with singer and musician Mick Hale to create the unique sound of the band, releasing several albums throughout the nineties and early 2000s. As a prolific musician, he has collaborated with a number of musicians and artists, and participated in several side projects including the noise-industrial unit Kunterfaust, drum-and-bass-inspired proGREX.iv (with fellow Crocodile Shop member Mick Hale, as well as George Sarah, Jared Hendrickson, and Sarah Folkman), and gothic art project The Appointed Time. Since 1998, he has recorded and experimented with various EDM genres as the solo-project Subliminal Gravity. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Seeing Ear Theatre | Seeing Ear Theater was an internet based drama/re-enactment troupe attempting to capture the feel of older scifi radio plays. The content was originally maintained on the SciFi.com website and ran from 1997-2001. In the United States, radio drama is virtually dead. But just after the internet blossomed, “radio” drama briefly revived itself. Between 1997 and 2001 dozens of Science Fiction and Fantasy stories were produced by a dedicated and talented crew of multimedia artists, writers, actors and musicians using the RealPlayer technology to delivery “radio” drama via streaming audio. And what a revival it was! Starting small and building bigger and better productions until its demise, the SEEING EAR THEATRE was arguably much better than the SCI-FI channel that spawned it. It managed to capture some of the top living SF writers of today, like Harlan Ellision, J. Michael Straczynski, and Kim Stanley Robinson. It also produced some classic stories, from the likes of Fredric Brown, Poul Anderson, and William Tenn. | |
