Discogs artists that do not appear to exist in MusicBrainz

Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025

Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.

The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.

These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.

Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.

Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.

There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.

One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report

We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.

Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search Add 2 Robert T. Reilly US author (1923-2004). From bethlehembooks.com: Robert (Bob) T. Reilly was born in Lowell, Massachusetts in 1923. During World War II, he enlisted in the Army and saw service as a First lieutenant with the 78th Division in Europe. He was a POW for six months, and received numerous decorations. After the war Reilly completed his Ph.D. at Boston University. Reilly's Irish interests involved the American Committee for Irish studies and the Irish American Cultural Institute, where he held a national directorship. Reilly lived in Ireland and also led tours there from 1966. It was when he was teaching Irish Literature at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, that he had the inspiration to write Red Hugh. "I did it as a bet with myself that I could write a book," he recalled. His first attempt at the story of Hugh O'Donnell was rejected by a publisher, so he tossed the manuscript out and started over. This time the tale was successful and became the first of several historical fiction books (Irish Saints, Fighting Prince of Donegal, Rebels in the Shadows). Having married Jean McKenzie of Omaha, Nebraska after World War II, Reilly and his wife had ten children and many grandchildren. Robert Reilly died in 2004.

Search Add 2 Jayson Butera Jason Butera Orlando native Jayson Butera established himself in the Underground Dance scene by mixing a variety of Progressive House, Trance and Nu Skool Breaks. Jayson career began in the mid 90’s by working at local record shop in Orlando. From that point his love for electronic music progressed and turned into a deep rooted obsession. After receiving his first residency at Daytona nightclub Sol-Rays in early ‘98, it seemed like it wasn’t much longer before he found himself playing just about every nightclub in Central Florida. Around this time, he met up with DJ Trancelott of Trancedomain.com, a weekly internet DJ Broadcast featuring DJ’s from around the globe. He soon became a resident of the show, and went on to play alongside Trancelott for many guest spots throughout Florida and the US. By 2000, Jayson began his first Orlando residency at the legendary Club @ Firestone. With this new success, he joined forces with 720e and their weekly show, Kompression. Here, playing alongside moguls such as Vicious Vic, Noel Sanger, Chris Fortier, DJ Trancelott, and many others, where he established his own style and sound. By New Years Eve 2001, Jayson marked another career milestone in the International spotlight as he played Calgary, Canada. Soon after returning, he headlined one of the biggest parties of his DJ career in Panama City, Panama. On his return to the United States, he continued to progress his Orlando residency and has had local radio appearances on 93.9 Dance and 91.5 WPRK. His resume includes several internet radio stations from Breaks FM to Pulse Radio, Bijou Breaks, Eccentric Beats and more. In late 2005, Jayson competed in John Digweed and Future Music’s “The Next Big Thing” DJ contest, in which Jayson was a top finalist. He also received a top 3 finish in Mercury Server’s first annual DJ competition. From there, He, with the help of Mercury Session, founded his own featured radio show called “Beyond Boundaries”, airing every other Friday at 4:00 pm EST on NSB Radio and Digital Intelligence on Digitally Imported every other Tuesday at 12:00 PM EST. These days Jayson Butera occupies a DJ residency at Suite B in Downtown Orlando and other guest spots. He continues to move Orlando with his dark Progressive House, Trance and Progressive Breaks.

Avec l’auteur Jean Louis FONTENEAU, il va enregistrer 6 albums, où les textes abordent avec souvent beaucoup d’humour et de poésie les thèmes récurrents de l’enfance. Search Add 2 Postmusik Graz Thanks to a few music-loving idealists, the founding of a postal band in Graz was realized in 1904. The musical directors for the early years were Kapellmeister Stepanek (founding bandmaster), Weiss, Smetan, Morawetz and Kerschischnik. Although World War I left large gaps in the ranks of musicians, the association was nevertheless able to continue. Kapellmeister Morawetz once again took over the musical direction. The chairman during this war-dominated period was Mr. Eichhorn. In 1928, the versatile military musician Hans Knopper was appointed Kapellmeister. Unfortunately, during the German Reich era, the association had to be dissolved, but de facto continued as the "Postschutz-Kapelle" (Post Protection Band). After the turmoil of World War II, Florian Fladerer became chairman in 1949. The association was then renamed "Graz Postal Band Music Association." In 1954 Mr. Laurenz Glock succeeded Kapellmeister Knopper as musical director. He was followed by principal flugelhorn player Friedrich Uhl. 23 years were marked by the work of this great musician and composer. Fladerer led the association for 28 years. In 1977 he was succeeded as chairman by Franz Schleich. In 1982, Hofrat Dr. [a16251502] took over as chairman of Graz Postal Band Music. Upon his retirement, Friedrich Uhl handed over the baton to his brother [a16193089] in 1984. After 11 years of wonderful and successful work, Karl Rappold succeeded him as conductor in 1995. In 2001, [a16251496] joined the association as executive chairman, which has since been called the "Postmusik Graz" music association. After 22 years of service, Dr. Deu handed over the chairmanship to Karl Haider in 2004. In 2010, Karl Neubauer followed in Haider's footsteps and has led Postmusik Graz ever since. Conductor [a16251511] celebrated his 15th anniversary as conductor with a CD featuring highlights from the past years. Now over 100 years old, Postmusik Graz can proudly look back on numerous concert tours abroad (Germany, Greece, Holland, Slovenia, Spain, the Czech Republic, Turkey, etc.), major concerts in all Austrian states, participation in the Musikantenstadl (music festival) and the Musikschau der Nationen (music show of the nations), as well as a few radio and recordings.

Search Add 2 Shady Grove Church See [l3578458] for Recording Location/Label (LCCN Version) for same organization in the Discogs database. Church formerly located in Grand Prairie, Texas that was well-known for it's Praise and Worship Music. Multiple recordings were released from the church and many well-known praise and worship songs from the era were written by members of the music department. These included "I Will Sing, I Will Dance" by [a5639174] and "We Bring The Sacrifice Of Praise" by [a738304]. The church no longer exists in the same form, however the former associate pastor, Robert Morris, started Gateway Church ([a3545018]), which eventually took over the congregation and location. See [l3578458] for label/recording location.

Search Add 2 Skincold Skincold is a Bombay based band, that has ripped down barriers and skillfully re-arranged song conformity with their experimental/nu-metal music. The atmosphere at a Skincold gig is charged with electric power feeding off primal screams, from a mosh pit of fans loving every ear splitting second of a unique barrage of head on blasts accompanied by neatly etched undertones of electrical melody. The raging metal elements buried in a mix of ambient somber toned vocals is like breathing relief instead of oxygen in respect to the commonly followed genres by the usual corporate mass. Skincolds funky bass lines that intertwine with its fresh drumming patterns are anything but a subtle enhancement to the bands overall strength. This 4 piece band exploded onto the scene by reaching the finals of Livewire, I.I.T, Powai in 2005 where they were placed 3rd amongst 30 Indian bands, also winning the best Vocalist Award. After accomplishing winning positions in an array of music competitions, today they stand out as one of the most refreshing experimental metal bands out there. Infuences include bands like Deftones, A Perfect Circle, Snot, Pleymo, Chimaira, Slipknot, Ill Nino, Korn, Stabbing Westward, Drowning Pool, Disturbed, American Head Charge, Tool, Dry Kill Logic, Chevelle etc. They currently have an EP out on Demonstealer Records called Artificial Existence which is a part of Fine Tuned Disasters. Fine Tuned Disasters also features EP's by Scribe, Bhayanak Maut, Amidst The Chaos, Bitchslap etc...
