Discogs artists that do not appear to exist in MusicBrainz

Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026

Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.

The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.

These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.

Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.

Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.

There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.

One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report

We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.

Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search Add 2 Sonoma Valley Chorale The Sonoma Valley Chorale got its start in 1973, when choral director James Griewe drew together 96 singers from various choirs he’d been leading for performances at St. Francis Church. The St. Francis concerts were a hit and the group’s ranks began to balloon. When membership hit 160 in 1975, they moved performances to the Sonoma Valley Veterans Memorial Building. At the group’s zenith in the late 1980s, it topped 200 members and was attracting such special guest performers as renowned Black spiritual composer Jester Hairston; composer Gwyneth Walker, who wrote an original work for the Chorale; and Maya Angelou, who narrated “Jonathan Livingston Seagull” with the group.

Search Add 2 Mica Eio Mica is a multi-genre singer and composer. She has served her original style faithfully for over a decade, with Drum n Bass grooves, Soulful House and Neo Soul as her music comprises all of the above with an electronic twist. She has worked as a session musician at Jamestown Studios and performed live on both drum n’ bass sets (New Wave DnB) and Gospel vocal groups in London. Her debut EP “Magic Ball” (The Sound of Everything Ltd.) features fresh sounds and soul influenced vocals. With a new Album on the way, which features ambient, Soulful House RnB, Drum n Bass and Νeo-Soul elements, she enters to the Neon and fluorescence era and being a junkie of aesthetics, she makes a transition from a sterile music education to her true sound. She has been performing in European Festivals with recent highlights: “Jazz & Blues Rallye 2018 & 2019 ( LUX ), Milano Music Week 2018 ( IT ) & Athens Music Week ( GR )2019.
