Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 5 | The Daily Hum | We have a foot in different genres. Also, we possess quite the schizophrenic shoes. It started out in 2009 as a cozy sambagrunge-band, but moved into percussion trashanova, jazzed out in space jams, got buzzed up in punkfunk, stoned ourselves to death reagge and currently in 2015 we may seem like a weird rock band. But we're maybe the best weird rock band in town. Probably. Members: Magnus (N) Bass, backing vocals Brynjar (N) Noisy guitar, vocals Kurt (DE) Lead guitar, deutsch Stian (N) Computers, melodies, backing vocals Daniel (IT) Drums, BATTERIA Erik (NL) Trombone, screaming Frode (SK) Trumpet, backing vocals

Search | Add | 5 | Das Nelson Konzept | Acoustic industrial solo project from Norrköping, Sweden. Active 1993 to early 2000. Das Nelson Konzept was the brainchild and solo project of Mikael Mildén from Norrköping (later Uppsala and Stockholm), Sweden. The music mostly consisted of lo-fi industrial ballads, recorded on a four channel porta studio, in a home studio named Silent Factory. Songs were often composed and based on a guitar chord sequence or riff, with added home made instruments and simple syntheziser melodies. Later, the sound was more influenced by noise and drifted towards instrumental music. The music was released on German cassette labels Echtzeit, Maljugin Musik and Tonspur Tapes, as well as own released material on the label Gray Crow Cassettes. Das Nelson Konzept only made one live appearance at an appartment in Uppsala 23 April 1999, recorded and released as the cd-r Tal der Ahnungslosen.

Search | Add | 5 | Richard Demko | Richard L Demko | RICHARD DEMKO is a classically trained pianist who started taking piano lessons at the age of 5. He went on to study drums, guitar, bass, and eventually, the art of production and engineering. Richard has played in various bands, and has toured all over the northeast with his primary project “Electric Mayhem. He has played as a session musician on countless songs and albums, most notably playing B3 tracks on two singles that feature Beach Boy Blondie Chaplin. (Release date TBA). He also plays and writes songs in a studio project called “Demkovic” which is comprised of Demko and his long time band mate, vocalist Suzanne Vick. Richard honed his Production and Engineering skills with Vic Steffens at Horizon Music Group in West Haven, CT, and has worked with numerous local, regional, and national bands in the studio. Some of the more notable projects include working with Blondie Chaplin, Kasim Sultan, Edwin Hawkins, Mickey Curry, Scott Spray, Bobby “T” Torello, and Christine Ohlman. Richard also had the opportunity to mix some of the nations biggest bands and artists when he engineered for the legendary Toads Place in New Haven, CT, moonlighting as a Front of House Engineer and Monitor Engineer. As a songwriter, Richard has an extensive catalogue of music ranging from classical to metal. He rarely sings on any of his own work, and usually employs session singers to lay vocals down on the music he writes that does contain lyrics. His catalogue contains a mix of instrumentals and songs that contain vocals, ranging in many different styles and moods. Some of his work is commercially available with the various studio projects that he has released. He does collaborate with lyricists from time to time, and has even collaborated with other musicians to write instrumental arrangements for artists who are looking for songs. He classifies himself to be more of a composer and writer more so than a “beat maker”, as his songs are always structured, and he always has a production vision for each and every song he writes. rick d award.jpg In 2019, Richard went on to form NeuroTronix Records, which is a full service, independent record label located in Seymour, CT. As the President and Senior A&R for the label, he actively scouts bands and artists to help promote, record and release music utilizing his knowledge and expertise that he has gained throughout his 20+ year career in the industry. With an amazing team of dedicated professionals who help him run the daily operations, NeuroTronix Records has become one of the fastest growing, and most reputable indie labels in Connecticut. |

Search | Add | 5 | The Three Strangers | The Three Strangers was a South Philadelphia group that had been in a studio several times prior to this under a variety of names. Salome (pronounced Sah-loam) Bey (not to be confused with a female singer of the same name from the Bey Sisters), Ike Smith, Melvin Wright, Heywood Royster, and John “Buck” McLaughlin formed the Daytons, named after a popular style of shoe, when they were attending Barrett Junior High School. They debuted on the local Norgolde imprint (best known for the Revels’ “Midnight Stroll”) in 1959 with the doo-wop ballad “King Of Broken Hearts” and a rocking “Friday Better Come.” They pared it down to Salome, Melvin, and Ike when they cut “He’s A Bum” and “Hi Diddle Diddle” for producers John Madara and David White in the autumn of 1964 as the Three Jokers. The single was issued on Mercury before year’s end. The Three Strangers name came when the trio hooked up with producers Leroy Lovett and Frank Bendinelli to release a very Impressions-influenced ballad, “I’ll Be Alright,” and “Little Boy Blue” (both co-penned by Huff) in early ’66 on ABC-Paramount. Gamble and Huff wrote and produced a delightful throwback for the trio at Frantic, Arctic's subsidiary label. Bey moved to Chester, Pennsylvania in ’71, and in 1976 launched the Eastern Standard Band, which performed on the casino circuit for decades. Versatility remained his motto until his passing a few years ago. “In recent years, he was in a reggae-based group, and then after that he was doing Nat King Cole tribute show,” according to Philly guitarist Bobby Eli.

Later, he sang in Breslau and Hamburg. Goritz then received a contract with the Metropolitan Opera in New York City, where he performed in 25 operas (mostly German, 1 Italian) between 1903 and 1917, including the leading Wagnerian baritone roles. His greatest success was as Beckmesser in Wagner's "Meistersinger." When the United States joined World War I, the opera stopped performing its German repertory. Goritz was forced to resign, not least because of a rumor that he had sung a parodic song on the sinking of the RMS "Lusitania" at a private party on New Year's Eve 1916. He remained, however, in the United States. In 1919, after the war had ended, Goritz founded the Star Opera Company. The company tried to perform at the Lexington Opera House in German, but a riot on opening night and protests by the American Legion forced it to disband. In 1920 Goritz returned to Hamburg, where he continued to sing at the State Opera House. |
