Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Céleste Boursier-Mougenot working what he calls himself sound forms "living" facilities that unfold in time and space correspondence, equivalences between sculpture and uncertainties and music. From the mid 1990s, Céleste Boursier-Mougenot, while musician for the theater, considering the space of the gallery and the museum as the singular locus of his compositions. Moving the question of musical performance and interpretation by the musician to the instrument itself, since it develops and sculptural work space in which diversions act on both the technology used and the processing of information. Performance without performersThe works of the artist playing on the illusion of live. They dig audio and visual traps, through filters and manipulations, in a world already deregulated. If it fits in an experimental music history and its sculptural and performative transmission short Cage Fluxus, via La Monte Young, the work of Céleste Boursier-Mougenot is not less contemporary of horizon saturated with information, signals, controls and information transfers. Fascinating in its simultaneously spectacular in its effects and thin and remote devices in its forms and passages between sound and space, it draws and plays the score of a sometimes uneasy dream simultaneously.

| Search | Add | 5 | The Klagetoh Swingers | Navajo singing group from Klagetoh, Arizona, formed around 1970. The Klagetoh Swingers originated from Klagetoh, Arizona, and formed about 1970. Since then they have traveled many placed such as squaw dances throughout the Navajo Reservation. They first started by singing at social gatherings and on local radio stations. Later, people started requesting their presence at different events. Many of their performances were done at large gatherings such as the Navajo Tribal Fair, the New Mexico State Fair, various powwows, colleges, and schools. Other performances have been at Christmas parties and at Father's and Mother's Day gatherings. Many times the Swingers have received trophies or various awards for their singing. Many people from young children to senior citizens like the songs of the Klagetoh Swingers, and make their own interpretations of the songs. The songs are really about everyday happenings they see, or relationships among people. Whenever the Swingers are scheduled to perform at some gathering, you usually see a large crowd who will enjoy their performance. Their interest is to promote and keep the traditional songs among our Navajo people. Many of the younger generation are learning the songs and are keeping them well understood. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Agrokulcher | Agrokulcher was formed in '97, although the current line up has only been together since '99. When the previous vocalist decided to leave the band, management called upon Matt DeJoy who was working on a couple of different projects at the time. After just one rehearsal, he was granted the position of frontman and the band immediately began writing together. Within a month Agrokulcher had written enough material to go into the studio to work on their first E.P. titled "God". Since then, the band has been performing and headlining up and down the west coast. Agrokulcher played at "Camp Ozzy" at Ozzfest, opened up for the band "Live" at Dennis Rodman's Birthday Bash at the Hard Rock Hotel in Vegas and headlined the Tony Hawk Skate and Music Festival in the South Bay. They also were privileged enough to record two songs with punk legend Mike Watt. It was a tribute to legendary punk bonds from the South Bay. The album is available in record stores titled "The Bay After". Agrokulcher's style of music is of n heavier genre, but the band has been influenced by the likes of Bowie, Tool, Depeche Mode, Snot, Primus, Faith No More, Deftones, you get the idea. AK has exploded out of the South Bay (Hermosa Beach, Ca.) and has gained much respect from the entire L.A. music scene as they play in Hollywood and surrounding areas constantly. In September '99, Agrokulcher was named "Underground Band of the Month" by both Loudside Entertainment (www.loudside.com) and "Unsigned Band of the Month" by Unenrthed.com. (www.unearthed.com). "AK" has also been given strong recognition by Artist Direct.com and Ubl.com. In October of 2000 Agrokulcher took some time out of their busy schedule to record the follow up to their first E.P. This CD was appropriately titled "2000". This CD shows the great musical bond and growth that the band was able to form in a very fast paced year. Their sold out CD release party at the Troubadour (Hollywood, Ca.) was a huge success. It helped others in the tight nit community of Hollywood realize why there is such a buzz about this band that has only been together for a short time. Agrokulcher is continuing on the tracks of many great Hollywood bands that have gone on to bigger careers while they continue to stay true to themselves. Their fans have made it perfectly clear what they want ...many more jaw dropping performances. It is very hard to not get lost among the thousands of heavy bands in Hollywood. Agrokulcher has made it a point to make their music and lyrical content very personable to themselves and those who make the right choice to really listen. Look for Agrokulcher to release a new Cd by the end of Summer 2001. | |

It is in this colorful country, repository of a subtle oriental refinement, bathed in exhilarating scents, that she forges her first musical weapons. Jazz will quickly become her preference, offering her vocal palette a sufficiently vast field of exploration.

Perhaps his greatest DJ role was the Trocadero Transfer in San Francisco during the late 1970s through the early 1980s. His fans would eagerly await his famous remixes of Amanda Lear's "Follow Me" to which he would make weekly changes. After a dispute over salary he moved onto Dreamland, which was a newer club "Around The Corner," and eventually moved to Los Angeles to play at the Hollywood Palace among other venues.

| Search | Add | 5 | Iain Flitcroft | Iain was born in Preston, Lancashire. The family loved music and Iain quickly expressed a desire to play the piano. Lessons began at the age of 6 and by the age of 15, Iain had passed all 8 Grades with the Royal School of Music. At the age of 10, Iain joined the church choir and was enthralled by the sound of the pipe organ. So at the age of 12, having reached Grade 6 on the Piano, Iain was regularly deputising for church services and by 16 was organist and choirmaster of his own church, St Paul’s Faringdon, Preston. As a Christmas present Iain was given an LP of William Davies playing the Granada Kingston Wurlitzer. This was followed by a trip with his parents to Blackpool Tower and an Organist Association visit to the Paramount Organ Studios in Bolton. By the end of this, Iain was hooked on the sound of the Theatre Organ. Iain’s Father was determined to find the best possible teacher and contacted Ernest Broadbent in Blackpool. Ernest had retired a couple of years earlier as Resident Organist at the Tower Ballroom where he had taken over from Reginald Dixon. Ernest agreed to take Iain on as a pupil. Iain eventually spent three years playing for First Leisure in Blackpool on the piers, In the Winter Gardens and, of course, in the world famous Tower Ballroom. Since then, Iain has played virtually all of the theatre organ venues in the UK as well as regular concert trips to Holland | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Nicky Hilton | Raymond Ensor | a 16-year-old singer from Coventry named Nicky Hilton, with a slightly goofy song ‘Your Nose Is Gonna Grow’. Nicky’s real name was Raymond Ensor. He was from the Stoke area of Coventry and went to Briton Road Stoke Secondary Modern School, where he played rugby and football and excelled in English. His singing career began when visiting The Stoke Ex Club and he realised that’s what he wanted to do. He ended up singing in the club after winning an audition, earning £3 entertaining on Saturday and Sunday nights. He was eventually spotted at a singing competition in London by artist manager Lena Davies who, along with her husband David Taylor, took Nicky onto their books, with Lena becoming his manager. Nicky was earning an enviable £40 a week in those days, not bad for a 16-year-old in 1962. Indeed, he was often seen driving around in his 1959 Ford Consul, driven by his brother (and Road Manager) Peter Ensor. Your Nose is Gonna Grow was a song that has a great verse, but a chorus that could have done with a little bit of work. Having said that, Emile Ford, Johnny Crawford and Christine Quaite, all had versions of the song on release, though none of them charted. That didn't stop Parlophone releasing a second single by Nicky Hilton ‘I'm Gonna Lock My Heart Away and Throw Away The Key’, though that too failed to make any impact on the charts. It’s testament to Nicky’s talent when another major label Decca Records, signed him and released in 1965 what would be his last ever single ‘Give Us Your Blessing’. Needless to say this too failed to chart. Nicky had an all time wish to play at the Coventry Theatre , whether he ever achieved it I have no idea. |

| Search | Add | 5 | Larry Briers | Laurie T. Briers | Early jazz and dance band pianist born in Newport News, Virginia on December 25 of 1891. It's likely that Briers received his first piano lessons as a kid, and later studied at some conservatory. Briers married his sweetheart Evelyn Russell Groeble on September 6 of 1913 before the 2 newlyweds moved to New York, where Larry Briers obtained employment at the Rector Cafe from the 4th Street, place where he decided to use the artistic name of Larry Briers. It was there when he met clarinet player, violinist & future alto saxophonist Joseph Samuels, who hired him for his orchestra that also played in the Rector Café. Briers did his very first recordings with Samuels's Orchestra for the US branch of Pathé (which later became Pathé Actuelle) on January of 1919, and also recorded with Samuels for Okeh, Emerson, Lyric, the Plaza group (renamed ARC), Gennett, the NYRL group (including Paramount, Puritan, etc.), Arto, Bell, Grey Gull, Edison & Federal among other labels. In addition to recording with the above mentioned Joseph Samuels's Orchestra (& his subset Synco Jazz Band (aka the Tampa Blue Jazz Band, Porter's Blue Devils (Gennett sessions from August 31 of 1923, October 11 of 1923 & November 12 of 1923) & Joseph Samuels's Jazz Band), Briers also managed to record with the Rega Orchestra for Okeh, [a1568094]'s Orchestra (both under Glantz's own name & several pseudonyms such as [a2976919], for example) for several labels, the Blue Ribbon Trio for Okeh, Harry Reser's orchestra & trio (1922 to March of 1923), the Green Brothers Novelty Band (for Edison, Gennett & Okeh among other labels), etc. Briers also accompanied the Harmonizers, Mamie Smith, Clarence Williams & many more vocalists & vocal groups, in addition to appearing on several of Joseph Samuels's violin recordings, some of Harry Reser's earliest banjo solos with piano accompaniment, etc. And if that's not enough, he composed several tunes such as "Just Suppose", "Dew Drop", "Satisfied", "Oh, Joe (Please Don't Go)", "Parson Jenks", "Page Paderewski" (co-written with his boss Joseph Samuels & legendary pianist Pete Wendling), "Fine Feathers" & of course, "Brother Low-Down", which can be considered Briers's greatest hit if we have in mind that it was recorded among others by Bert Williams for Columbia, Al Bernard for Victor, Edison & Brunswick, and of course, Joseph Samuels's (Synco) Jazz Band as the Tampa Blue Jazz Band for Okeh that also included Briers himself at the piano. By 1940, Briers was now living in Franklin, Ohio with his wife Evelyn Russell Groeble & their son James L. Briers (born on 1924). Briers is presumably dead in the period from 1960 or 1970 onwards. |

| Search | Add | 5 | Viscous Liquid | Reading, UK-based solo artist Rhys Williams started Viscous Liquid as a home recording project in 2012, the music leaning heavily on psychedelic, shoegaze, lo-fi and surf pop influences. Williams began making his music available in digital format online soon afterwards, with a self-described aim to “sound like the Beach Boys strung out on barbiturates playing in some sort of wind tunnel.” The singles "Never Fun/Soother", "It’s Sort Of Like Being A Long Way From Home, All The Time" and an eponymous debut EP were released in 2013. Viscous Liquid gained recognition in Reading's local indie music scene, as well as praise from alternative music critics and publications such as Sounds Better With Reverb. A second EP followed, "Songs For Jealous Lovers", featuring added vocal harmonies and a broader, jangle-pop sound. The more expansive, psychedelic "Infinity Pool" EP was released later the same year. In 2014, Williams joined Rhys Edwards (Tripwires) to form Ulrika Spacek, having previously toured with that band as an additional guitarist. | |
