Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Inquiry Last Scenery | It all started when the band formed in mid 2004, when the two of the members Fahmir and Hazree studying at the same college, BMI Insitute in Gombak. Originally, Fahmir and Hazree got along poorly. This lasted until they realized their collective creative capabilties, and forged a bond over their similar passion for writing melodies. Still yet, they try to spread more and more ideas but then realize they should have one more members to ensure the rythym fully complete.. Merely know in college, Hafiz is a less talk person but Hazree knows that he also able to share the same interest and abilities. Fahmir did asked Hazree about the new members and he's pointed that they can rely on Hafiz. Both of them was glad when Hafiz totally agreed with to their plan. On 2005, they became as they are and they called themself as Icarus Violent. In mid 2006, the dull has changed. They have their own new members. Although it's comfort for them in previously group, but they need to more concerntrate on the song writing. Early Known as friends in Myspace, Farhan expressed his commitment about this band. Glad by someone fill the vacancy and lighten their burden they form again the new named with a new spirit called Inquiry Last Scenery. | |

Discovering Rock N’ Roll, Fortier switched to guitar and soon founded The Magnatones. The group kept busy gigging locally. However, the young Rock band went through several name and personnel changes to ultimately become the hugely popular regional outfit Band X. By this time the multi-talented Fortier had switched to bass guitar. Band X continued to record and gig around their native Michigan for almost a decade and received steady radio airplay for their regional hit “How Good The Rain.” Then came more personnel changes and a new name morphing Band X into North Country. Sadly, after a year, North Country fizzled. However, Jay continued to write, record, and play in a variety of bands and recording projects and Jay was inducted to the Michigan Rock and Roll Legends Hall of Fame with Band X. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Jer Hog | Rock band from Germany. Jeremiah Joseph Hogan collected records and started DJ-ing when he was 15, bought his first guitar in Dublin in 1977 and immediatly began writing songs. From playing countless gigs on the local scene enough money was earned to go into the studio to record the first demo. From this point on, studio and live performance became equally important for Jeremiah. The murdering mixture of Catholicism, prudeness and suburbia in Ireland drove him out into the rest of the world. In 1985 he visited musician friends in Hamburg. It turned out to be a deciding change in his life. Jeremiah played in numerous bands, bought an 8 track and mixer, recorded demos and eventually produced and released his first single "Black" in 1992. This was the beginning of JER HOG. The band played gigs up and down the country and invested in modernizing their recording equipment. Jeremiah composed, recorded and produced the first CD "King's Birthday", which was released on his own label in 1996; Piggy Bank Records. The philosophy was simple; "Don't expect anyone to be more committed to your product than you are. Do it yourself!". With this CD JER HOG went out again on tour, doing advertising and distribution themselves. In all, 800 copies were sold during the following 2 years. Mostly after shows, where the band had convinced it's audience. While headlining the "Kalilingrad In Rock Festival" in Russia for the second year in a row (15000 visitors), Jeremiah met the Hamburg band "Das Weeth Experience". Shortly after he was co-writing new material, playing bass on their next album and heading to the States on tour. 1999 also saw the birth of another musical project with a video maker friend; "V.S.B." combining industrial pop-rock with dancefloor rhythms. Despite being very tied up with these new commitments, Jeremiah continued to write and record new songs for the second JER HOG album "Dirty", whenever he got the chance. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Cool Bananas | From "Albert Archives" liner notes [silently corrected]: "Musical Salesmen. Arch-lunatic Rory O'Donoghue has a bizarre background in rock music. His teenage groups The Pogs and Oakapple Day were kings of the north shore socialite party set and Cool Bananas, a pop-jazz outfit, enjoyed similar posh popularity. Rory's original concept was for a utility group of ace musos who could back him on his many TV/Radio commercials as well as perform/record as a regular group. As the two purposes merged, Cool Bananas found themselves performing alongside films and slides at launchings of such products as kitchen furniture and overseas travel. Although they never had any aspirations to become the new Sherbet, the group did have a nifty little turn laid on in their honour at Chequers, at which guests were treated to garbage bins full of frozen babanas. Members were (mostly) Rory, Don Reid, Wayne Findlay, Stein Boddington, and drummer Robbie Dearlove, who was replaced by Russell Dunlop on this single and a few gigs for GTK. Cool Bananas backed Kevin Johnson on his first album and then split, with Don Reid resurfacing in Crossfire and Rory O"Donoghue becoming a member of the Aunty Jack TV team and subsequently singer of the national number one hit "Farewell Aunty Jack"." | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Kronik Leila | Kronik Leila is a musical duo project founded in Istanbul in 2020 by twin brothers Arda Tuncer and Başak Tuncer, who came together with the idea of producing and publishing electronic music. The duo's debut as Kronik Leila was with their first single ‘Yuva’, which was recorded in their home studio and released in July 2021, and since then they have continued their production without a break until today. Fascinated by the almost limitless possibilities offered by electronic production, the brothers, who chose to progress in this field, actually have a classical music background. Both of them graduated from Dokuz Eylül University State Conservatory clarinet department. After graduating together, they travelled on separate paths for nearly 15 years. During this period, Arda completed the post-graduate programme at the Strasbourg Conservatory and the master's programme at the Turin Conservatory and furthered his career as a clarinetist with solo, chamber music and orchestra concerts in different European cities. After years of experience in the media in Istanbul as a reporter and main news anchor, Başak has gained a respected place in the sector after years of experience as a photographer. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Gustave Stern | Stern, Gustave, 1901-1990 (Saturday Aug 11) Producer and conductor of outdoor concerts and Green Lake musicals in Seattle during the 1950s. He was born May 16, 1901, in Duisburg, Germany, and began his musical training at 3 years old. He was playing the piano by age 5. He eventually trained as a conductor at the Leipzig Conservatory. In the early 20s, Mr. Stern became the assistant conductor of the Duisburg Opera Company and toured major German cities for years. He also served as choral director for many musical and religious groups. It was while attending a choral rehearsal that he met his future wife, Gertrude Stern. They married in 1929. She died in 1984. Stern and his family moved from Germany shortly after Adolf Hitler came to power in 1932. They lived in Holland and then Paris for about 10 years before France was invaded by the Nazis. The Sterns and their two children moved to New York, destitute, in 1942. They moved to Chicago where he sold shoes and worked in a defense plant, and then to Fargo, N.D., until 1945. Mr. Stern then moved to Seattle, where he immediately became active in the Seattle musical community. In 1946 he became conductor of the Seattle Civic Light Opera Company with which he conducted several operettas. There he discovered June Preston at age 15 while she was singing at an event given in his honor, he singled her voice out and said, "you have tremendous talent" that week he began coaching her. With Stern, she performed in Opera's with the Seattle Symphony Orchestra at the Seattle Civic Opera, Civic Auditorium, Metropolitan Theater. He was involved in the Music under the Stars program with the Seattle Parks Department. He was also active in various Seattle synagogues and their music programs. Stern was also working as a voice coach. He became famous in Seattle for being a sometimes temperamental but brilliant musician. His son Michael P. Stern said his father was once able to conduct an entire opera from memory. Mr. Stern taught music at Seattle University for years. Students would call him ``Father Stern.'' In 1949, Mr. Stern began conducting Sunday concerts in Volunteer Park, which always drew large crowds. In 1953, Greater Seattle Inc., and the Seattle Parks Department asked him to produce and conduct musicals at the now defunct Green Lake Aqua Theater. The first was ``South Pacific'' and featured Broadway star Martha Wright. The musicals, mixing local talent with stars from New York and Hollywood, continued until 1961. Bob Hope was among the guest stars. Mr. Stern retired from active conducting in 1962 but continued coaching voice from his Seattle home. In 1984, at age 83, Mr. Stern conducted a chorus and an ensemble for the Seattle Symphony in Handel's ``Judas Maccabee'' oratorio. In the winter of 1989, he traveled to Germany where he was honored by the municipal government of Duisburg. He continued to practice the piano almost daily and claimed he was able to improve his technique and overcome bad habits he had learned as a child. Mr. Stern never forgot what it was like to be broke, often donating to a variety of causes. Besides his son Michael of Mercer Island, he is survived by his son John H. Stern of Seattle and five grandchildren. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Mutandini Karl | "Mutandini" is italian and means "panty". Now if "karl" meant "kill" this would be the electronic reincarnation of the 90s allgirl band "Bikini Kill". But instead "Karl" is a male german name... Karl is the illusionary hybrid of Giovanni, Ice and Charlotte who are performing a clumsy electronic wave happening using a Roland Juno-60, Emu-Drumulator and sometimes a girlchoir dressed up as "Professore Simon". You might think of exaggerated, dramatic "Klaus Nomi" or impulsive, cold "Das Ding" or "Deux". But maybe they´re just a meldodramatic shifting shock; The contemporary version of the Doom Patrol if they were a band. Born at an artshow in frankfurt late 2012 and joined by 3 videobabies they now released a 7inch (limited on 250). "i would rather dance with you dear corpse than all the celebrities of the dancing world. you accept me and i accept you. i have no shoes and you have no skin. together we will flavour trees and flirt with dirt" | |
