Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | No Landscape Survives | Nicolas Lolom-Schar | No Landscape Survives is Nick’s alias, a Montreal-based musician. He began behind the drums for indie and post rock bands. A few years ago, he decided to set traditional instruments aside, to follow his way amound computers, telling stories while trying to tame the hardware. His music is a diary, first lines written further from electronic designs: it all starts with a minor fact, an image, a landscape. The following is all about being the witness of one’s own trek. |

Search | Add | 3 | Life In Cage | They started as a trio in 1984 with Christos Skordilis (guitar), Theofilos Tsiolakakis (bass, vocals) and Manolis Romenis (drums). The latter left early due to studies. Theofilos was inspired by the name "The Lion In A Cage" by Genesis P-Orridge of Throbbing Gristle, on the back cover of Clock DVA's Thirst album. With the addition of Babis Argiriou (keyboards, guitar, vocals), Giorgos Kyriakos (guitarist already in International Comedy and Mushrooms) as drummer and Kosmas Alexiou who took over the bass, they released a self-titled tape which was the first release of Lazy Dog Records (1985). In two of the songs on the tape, "Nekropsia" and "Fall (In A Basket Full Of Snakes)", drums were played by Lazaros Pliambas (International Comedy, Proxies, Flood, Grover, Rodama, Dinos Sadikis). After the departure of Theofilos Tsiolakakis, with Babis Argyriou on vocals, the group recorded the songs "Inactive" and "Maybe Some More", which were included on the cassette compilation "Give Bees A Chance" (1985). | |

The idea to do the show came from Jerome Robbins, who planned to have a few songs by Charlap and Leigh. Charlap was married to singer Sandy Stewart, whose biggest hit was My Coloring Book in 1962. They had one son--Bill Charlap, a well-known jazz pianist. Search | Add | 3 | Christian Huettner | Christian Huettner | Born in Germany in 1972 I started to make music at the age of 6. Very early I became fond of instrumental music - especially in melodical and voluminous sounds of the kind created by electronic instruments aroused my interest. After many public live acts I placed my main focus in production of music generated by synthesizer and accompanied by authentic instruments like guitar, sax and grand piano, most of which I play myself. As a graphic artist and experienced diver I obtain my inspiration for the predominant part of my tracks from the beauty above and below the sea, our mysterious inner space.. |
