Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Maxx Cabello Jr. | Bay Area local Maxx Cabello Jr. is known for his guitar chops, his soulful voice and mixing it up with a wide range of styles. He plays everything from slow soul jams, blazing electric blues and Latin rock. This powerful and captivating guitarist and prolific songwriter is turning heads and bending the ears of veteran musicians and diverse audiences of all ages. Cabello grew up surrounded by music and photos of Maxx as a toddler, sleeping in his father’s guitar case, show he was destined to be a musician. “Dad plays folk-Spanish music,” Cabello said. “When him and my mom sing, it will make you cry. It’s that kind of deep, real traditional Spanish music.” But Cabello’s corazón led him to the blues. “What I love about the blues,” he said, “there’s no right or wrong way to do it. It’s in the delivery. If the people can feel it, then you are doing it right. I play from my heart.” His shades of music are reminiscent of the most renowned guitarists of our time. In his work are the inspirations of Jimi Hendrix and Carlos Santana, and Maxx definitely adds his own artistry. His hard-driving playing is accomplished as well as energetic. He expresses his music with sensitivity and honesty giving him a very recognizable voice. Maxx has been fortunate enough to open for greats such as Earth, Wind, and Fire; Tommy Castro; and Morris Day & The Time. Recently he opened for the popular alternative group Third Eye Blind. Cabello blew the crowd away and they responded with a standing ovation for his captivating performance. Maxx has played all over the country as well as internationally. He has played many prestigious venues including BB Kings Blues Clubs in Hollywood and NYC, CBGB's, and the Oakland Raiders Half-Time Show. "Oh yeah, that boy can really play!"—John Lee Hooker | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Little Miss Moffat | A native of south-western Ontario, Ashley Moffat – Little Miss Moffat – spent some years touring from Windsor to Toronto and back promoting her rookie E.P., “Midnight Messages” (1999). Incredibly drawn to the Halifax music scene, Ashley migrated east to Nova Scotia in 2000. Little Miss Moffat joined forces with some Halifax musicians and put together the eye opening E.P. “Oh, Come Off It!” (2001). It gave Moffat some solid footing in the local music scene. Her follow-up LP, “Miss Canada” (2003), was recorded at the Mullet and was co-produced by Joel Plaskett. It featured Joel, Gabe Minnikin, Benn Ross, Lukas Pearse, Mark Bragg, Dale Murray and Brent Randall. “Miss Canada” had a warm sound and rich textures and was a snapshot of a time when the Khyber was the place to see live music and the Mullet was the place to record albums. “Miss Canada” earned Moffat an ECMA nomination and more credibility as a Canadian songwriter and live performer. Founder of the Halifamous Wilderbeats, Moffat also paired up with singer-songwriter Joyce Saunders to write, record, and release two children’s nature albums: “The Wilderbeats Live” (2001) and “Second Nature” (2003). The Wilderbeats had a couple of ECMA nominations and NSMW nominations and toured all over Nova Scotia, reaching as far as Alberta and Newfoundland, playing in crowded gyms, libraries, and auditoriums, for kids of all ages. Moffat and Saunders dismantled the original band a few years ago, when Ashley found herself with less and less time for music, working full time for Parks Canada at Kejimkujik. Saunders continued with the band name and joined up with another performer to write new music for the new Wilderbeats. Nearly a decade after her last recording and a year after her father’s sudden passing, Ashley Moffat makes a surprise re-appearance with a sparkly new album that displays her unique and natural talents as a songwriter for children and adults, as well as her passion for the wilderness. “Wild About Nature” (2012) is a solid blend of Moffat’s quirky and catchy nature tunes about sea cucumbers, bats, owls, beavers, and even pandas. Produced by Benn Ross, the album features the likes of Benn Ross, Old Man Luedecke, John Parker, Clive MacNutt, Joyce Saunders, and Joel Plaskett. Charged up, and ready to go another round, Little Miss Moffat re-emerges onto the music scene with a renewed commitment to just do what she loves: write, record, and play music. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Chartered Hurricane | Chartered Hurricane was a NWOBHM duo consisting of Phil and Mark Jones that gigged consistently and built up a large following in the Newport Gwent area of Wales in the early 80's. The band formed in 1981 and released this one very scarce single (originally housed in a stamped sleeve) in 1983. The A side "Cathy Come Home" is a great pop song while the B side, "All Smashed Up", is more appealing to NWOBHM collector types. The band eventually grew to a five piece adding Mike Ward on bass, Terry (TNT) Thomas on drums and Robert Millar on guitar. After several failed attempts to break it big in London they split in 1984. Phil Jones subsequently formed the band [a2051223]. In 2013, Mark and Phil began working together on new and original Chartered Hurricane songs with the potential of an eventual album release and performed live again on December 13th, 2014. The album 'Touch The Rocks' was released on 24 April 2021. Founding member [a3615255] died on 27th January 2019 (aged 59) and [a2051222] on 19th August 2020, shortly after completing his recordings for the album. | |

Her pure, silvery soprano was ‘always that sound that made The Caravans’ background so great. She was a trained operatic singer, having studied at a music conservatory. She joined [a1013997] in 1958. She became known as the Gospel Princess for her youthful vibrancy and trained soprano voice. Around that time, the lineup also included [a731527], [a573739], [a38202], and [a1089762]. [a2493510], who played piano with The Caravans and was Washington’s neighbor in Robins, Illinois and had recommended Dolores to Albertina Walker. Young Delores looked up to [a731527], a fellow Caravan who was considered one of the queens of gospel. Even as she developed a thriving solo career, Delores also remained a stalwart member of The Caravans. As she once put it in a filmed publicized interview, “They (singers) can come, and they can go, and they can come, and they can go, but I ain’t going nowhere.” In 1968, she ventured off with her solo career which started with [a1838019]. Her musical relationship with [a573738] opened the way for several solo albums accompanied by James on the Savoy Gospel Label. She also toured Europe singing with [a6850917]. She battled various forms of cancer several times throughout her life beginning in the 1970's. Mrs. Delores Washington-Green’s powerful singing continued even after treatment for cancer and in 2019, she received the Dr. Bobby Jones Legends honor at the Stellar Gospel Music Awards in Las Vegas. |

Genre: World Music / Afro Manding / Gambian Afrobeat / Dance Music / Independend Music… According to critics, they are »one of the most influential bands in The Gambia«, but still mostly »[u]nknown to the Western listener. Active since the 1980s. Powered by the Jarju Brothers. Utilising electric guitar, drums, bass and keyboard to mix and adapt the different elements of traditional Gambian music and culture to create a new Gambian sound.« (Chicken Attack Records, G.B., that produced and distributes the before 2019 E.P. »Abarake Bake«.) »The band is named after a powerful historic village in The Gambia, where slaves were transported to America and Europe. This is the village where a brave slave called Kunta Kinteh was born. His name spread in most parts of the world. We named the band after this village to sustain the historic momentum and name of the village.« — »Juffureh Band is a long time band from the early nineteen-eighties. A lot of musicians passed through this band. We recorded few albums, and two among them, one was done with musicians from England, and another one with a saxophone player from Germany.« (Founding member A.S.J.) In the beginning the musicians were dependend to construct their own musical devices. Still they welcome technical support regarding musical instruments that are hard to obtain in The Gambia for them, further they need financial support of their musical work. They play original folkloric music, which takes its time and movement from the houses of prayer and the gospel, the trumpets of the saints, Chinese calligraphy, and as well as from the never-ending enchantment of the earth - grass, sea, rock, lightning, thunder, and morning stars. The band performs the compositions and songs of Nitay Kelly, the lead singer of the band. The songs are hymns, lamentations, and prayers to the mystery that may help carry the wounded to this miracle. |
