Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | Peter Scott Peters | Born on July 12, 1930 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Canada, Peter Sikorski was an actor who played in small roles in movies. Sikorski attended Bedford Road Collegiate Insitute and went on to become a nighttime disc jokey at CKOM in Saskatoon. At the time he was there, he renamed himself from Peter Sikorski to Peter Scott. Afterwards, he studied in Southern California in 1955 to practice theatre. He renamed his name to Scott Peters to not get confused with another actor of the same name. Scott Peters went on to play roles in movies such as "Attack of the Puppet People" (1958) and "The FBI Story" (1959). He also appeared on top-hit programs on television from the 1960s to the early 70s. He died in 1994.

Search | Add | 3 | Greg Lounsberry | Greg Lounsberry | In 1998, Greg released "Flower Pot Hat" by The Rocket4357 Project, a collaboration with fellow guitarist, Steve Spayde, and bassist Dan Collins. In 2005, "Frankenclown" by Laserdogs was his next release. This was intended to be a band, but due to a lack of participation from the other members, ended up as a solo project. the interesting part began during the promotion phase of "Frankenclown" Greg met Matt Sweitzer online, and was asked to co-write and sing something for a new Canvas album, "Digital Pigeon". Greg co-wrote and sang the sardonically funny "A Reptile Dysfunction" for "Digital Pigeon", (which by the way was named for the internet collaboration between Greg and Matt.) The song revolves around an abused husband's couch confessions to his therapist about his violent dinosaur dreams, a metaphor for his fear of his wife............black comedy at it's best! Greg also contributed to "Funk Shui", "Dark Side of the Sun", "Cat Walk", "Lost in Transit" "Armchair Voyager", "Ghost Town", and "On Second Thought"' . Since then, Greg has appeared on several installments of The Canvas Prog Hour, interviewing such artists as Roger Powell, Michael Sadler, Rich Williams, Eric Johnson, Steve Hackett, Terry Bozzio, David Paich, Daryl Steurmer, Roine Stolt, and bands such as Ajalon, Helmet of Gnats, Tunnels, Gendes Giant, Von Frickle, and A.C.T. Greg and wife Tammy sang on the 2013 Canvas album, "Long Way to Mars", and October Tree's 2012 release, "The Fairy's Wing. Greg can be found at Lounsberrypedals.com building custom guitar pedals for top artists. Greg is currently working on a new album, for Canvas Productions with Matt Sweitzer. |

Search | Add | 3 | Selma Shelley | Selma Shelley began her career in Christian music at the early age of three when her father took her to sing for the men in an Army camp during World War I. In their Christian home in North Dakota, Selma and the other children of the large family found in music their greatest recreation. Each child endeavored to become proficient in the playing of musical instruments and the family circle orchestra found great pleasure in playing the old hymns and classics. When Selma was nine she took the all-important step of making her profession of faith in Christ in an evangelistic meeting in the Baptist church which the family attended. A year later she began her formal study of music. She was frequently called upon to sing solos, and when she was fifteen she had become the regular church pianist. Moving to Seattle, Washington, and later in Washington, D. C., she became contralto soloist in a number of churches. In the nation's capital she was featured as soloist on a weekly concert program from WWDC. Back in Seattle, while working for the Navy Department at an Aircraft Company, she met her future husband, Bernard Shelley, who shared both her Christian faith and her devotion to Christian music. Their present home was built as a music center, with two complete studios for the recording of Christian music. Mrs. Shelley has been contralto soloist for nineteen years at the First Presbyterian Church in downtown Seattle. On this church's own radio station, KTW, she was soloist for the "Light for Today" program. For a number of years Mr. and Mrs. Shelley have produced their own program, "Inspirational Melodies", from this same station. Meanwhile, Mrs. Shelley has been in constant demand to sing for the Christian Business Men's radio program, and on numerous other programs, and at notable events such as the Easter Sunrise services. An almost fatal illness in Mrs. Shelley's life proved to be an experience which brought her into a closer fellowship with God and a deeper dedication of herself to His service. As a result, she turned from open doors in the field of secular music and found what she believes to be God's perfect will for her life — singing His praises and in teaching others. One of Selma Shelley's finest contributions to Christian music was the organization of the Seattle Children's Choir which meets regularly in her home. Another group which has attained musical excellence through her guidance is the Octet, whose songs are presented in this album. The octet arrangements are all by Mrs. Shelley.

Search | Add | 3 | Tevecinq | Jean Arsène Issombé | Dj Tevecinq is one of the Congolese singers, including Ericksson le Zoulou, Maréshal, Ronaldo R9, who embarked on the cut-and-shift movement when he was born in 2002. A musician at the base, he was spotted in Brazzaville by the leader of an Ivorian musical group. Who will offer him the Ivorian adventure. Once in Côte d'Ivoire, his adopted country, he spent two years in an orchestra group in the capital, which unfortunately fizzled out. In search of a base, the artist will put his talent as an ambiancer to good use. He is disc jockeys in a giant maquis at Rue Princesse. And drags his bump in the middle cut shift. He therefore did not remain insensitive to the new musical deal that prevailed in Côte d'Ivoire from 202. It was in this vein that he released his successful title "Décaler dans la paix", which earned him the recognition of the Ivorian public. |

Search | Add | 3 | Стена Срача | Stena Sracha was formed back in Spring / Summer of 1993 by Bangk and Lembrik, it was later joined by Boom on drums (also "Epydemia A", "Anus", and currently "Modelo Para Armar") and Docent on bass (also "Anus"). Here is the story of the band as told by Bangk: "I was invited to "Epidemia A" Mishka-Hooishka's (Mikey the Prick) birthday party. The venue was chosen accordingly, it was a genuine SVALKA (dump) near Holon city. That was THE party (Boom gave Mishka a dead cat, 1mm thick, as a present, which he found on the near by highway). I was so pissed off during the party that I actually asked Alex Mooh (also "Epydemia A") to puke on me, which he did after a few moments of hesitation (people told me that I was running after him afterwards with a huge chain, but I can't recall that. A lot of things, that better be left untold, happened that night. Anyway, during that historic weekend Lembrik asked me to join forces with him and form a band, I agreed and he called it "Sracha" (shits) which I didn't like. The early days. The second chapter in our history was the first session in Rehovot city. We were supposed to play there, but ... Imagine, small town, main street, 5 story residential building, on the second floor a room, which before the gig was some sort of Russian immigrants center or something similar ... well the gig was there!!! with "Epydemia A", and in between some hippy bands, that made punks even more angry, and words like "Fuck" and "Destroy" started to appear in our heads in all possible orders. Sooner or later, this "Fucking Destroy" in residential building had to come to it's logical conclusion... well, truly "Fucking Destroy" !!! Everything inside was destroyed, including the TV set, which some naive people from the Ministry of Absorption, that allowed all this to happen, left inside... pogo... Obviously, we didn't play. We had two choices - to wait until the police will arrive, or to get the fuck out of there as soon as possible. But the most important event of that night happened much later. When we came to remains of an old building in a desolate area to spend the night. I can't recall in what context it was, but Boom said: "Stena Sracha" (The Shits Wall) which struck me straight away - that was the name !!! The first proper gig we played in Rehovot (again ...), it was, what people call, "the second Rehovot session", was organized by the same people as was the first one, but this time it was outdoors, near the Serpentarium rehearsal garage. The funny thing (kindly speaking) is that in no other place you will find any mentioning of Stena Sracha playing there (!), so I will not write a word about those Sov-rock impotents there. The only other bands worth mentioning were "Epydemia A" and "Anus". Well, it was a very strange gig, 'coz Lembrik wasn't available, due to health problems, so I was singing, and for the first time Boom and Docent played with us (me this time). Only three songs were performed: State, Ghost and a song that was never played before nor after, with lyrics by Veronka Zaslavski (my best high school friend), it was called ... ah well, can't remember. Haifa sessions. Boom and Docent were from the North (Haifa city and Tirat Carmel ), Lembrik lived in Holon city and I lived in Ariel, so we decided to rehearse in Haifa, in Dry Ice Studio. The three weekends in Haifa turned out to be an absolutely ecstatic experience. We not only rehearsed, but also recorded and, thanks to VJ Max (Kolia Blues), Israeli channel 2 team filmed a footage about Russian punk movement in this country, which basically was an interview with us, our friends (mostly Alex Mooh), and Stena Sracha playing State, Ghost and Act live in between. Live In Jerusalem. Organised by Mooh, "10 years of Grazhdanskaya Oborona ("Public Defense" - the most influential Russian punk band from Siberia)". It took place in "The center for Soviet Jews" or something like that ... Due to alcohol abuse only two songs were performed. Our showman Losharic and, soon to become a Bible follower, Lembric got absolutely pissed and collapsed, Losharik on the drums and Lembrick on the audience respectively. After this kind of behavior the gig was closed by the sound man yelling: "Tak Vse Poshli Nahui !" which means "Everybody, Fuck Off !". The sound was fucked up anyway, so I was not pissed off at all.

Search | Add | 3 | Viridian Ensemble | Viridian are an interdisciplinary ensemble, who advocate for womxn in the experimental arts from eclectic specialisms and backgrounds. Inspired by the vanguards of feminist free improvisation such as Les Diaboliques & Feminist Improv Group, as well as 16mm expanded film, Viridian is an ethereal amalgam of image, voice, cello, double bass and percussion, which re-imagines folkloric forms and tropes of femininity. Dissociative states, keening, and the supernatural inspirit the ensemble. Each performance evokes utterances, nonsensical languages, and trans-species forms of communication through collective rhythm, tone, and resonance.
