Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Sweaty Squeeze | Sweaty Squeeze is a full-blooded live band whose music pulses with great emotion and raw energy. For over thirty years, this Kokemäki-based group has been igniting Finnish rock stages with their uncompromising sound. In music circles, Sweaty Squeeze is known for its unstoppable blues and rock force — especially a true juggernaut who barrels forward with raw power and refuses to yield. Every gig, no matter how intimate, is played with the intensity of Madison Square Garden. After just a few songs, the sweat is flying, and the goal is always the same: to reach a euphoric flow where both the band and the audience ride the same sonic wave. The band writes original music that channels the soul of 70s rock, with blues running strong through its veins. Their sound is nostalgic yet fresh, gritty yet heartfelt — a timeless blend that hits hard and stays with you. | |
| Search | Add | 3 | Faton | Faton was the band created in 1993 by Francois ‘Faton' Cahen. This was the first band led by Cahen in which he would solely assume the whole responsibility of music and the musical direction. The first line-up comprised Cahen himself on piano, Patrick Tillman (violin), Claire Gillet (contrabass), Charly Doll (drums) and Philippe Makaïa (percussions). The same year, François Cahen was also invited to reform [a=Zao (3)], and Patrick Tillman, was a natural inclusion in this band too. But this reformation of Zao was only meant as a temporary studio project and Cahen’s priority was for his band Faton. After several concerts and rehearsals, they released a 4-track CD in 1997. In 1999 the band toured heavily in France with a restructured line-up : Claire Gillet, Patrick Tillman and Philippe Makaïa left, replaced respectively by Thierry Colson, Nicolas Krassik and Olivier Bonny. Their first full length album was released in 2000 and another tour planned this year. For this tour, François Cahen decided to hire new musicians (only Charly Doll remained) as he was unsatisfied with the previous members of the band : “they were ‘jazzmen’, and they fell in the jazz cliché of showing how good they could play, it wasn’t me nor my music anymore”. The new line-up lasted until 2002 and recorded one live album. In 2003, François Cahen reunited with Yochk’o Seffer in Ethnic Trio and together they accepted an offer from [a=Hiroshi Masuda] (Poseidon Productions) to reactivate Zao again for a tour in Japan. That was the start of several new collaborations between the old friends, and the definitive end of [a=Faton]. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Swag 667 | Nu Metal band from Bakersfield California active in the mid 90's from the late 2000s, originally started as a heavier nu metal band. But then in the early 2000s when they garnered some attention, they were noticed by record labels and they peaked the interested of the band KORN as well. Since KORN liked them, it started to influence the other band members to create a more commercial ready sound and some members from the band left the group because of they didn't like that sound. After the members left they managed to find replacements for them and release their final album in 2007. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Testkard 225 | further member: Daniel Beller Started in the 80's and continuing to the 90's Testkard 225 was mainly an alias of journalist Daniel Beller. Creating hard to digest industrial music in times where this music was almost unknown in israel, and wasn't welcome when heard. Although it is true that it was the first output that Har El Persky was involved in, his and Yariv Malka and Rafael Mizrahi's membership was casual and minor. Har El left the group because he wanted to focus on trance and beller didn't want to, despite this Har El and Mizrahi did one live show of goa trance before they stopped using this name. The project continued however with beller alone releasing two tapes all in all. Two other unreleased albums, the first with DXM (4) and the second with Duralex Sedlex (a band which beller was supposed to join) were supposed to be released but came to a halt in the creative stage because of life circumstances. The project was disbanded completely in the ninetees for reasons of state imposed censorship (a reason not unfamiliar to industrial musicians) and various other reasons. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Frank X Feller | Francis X. Fellmer | Broadcast Pioneers member Frank X. Feller slipped quietly into the midst of the Roaring Twenties on Tuesday, March 30, 1926, as another infant, Radio Broadcasting, was announcing its presence in tones loud and clear. Frank held forth in Jersey City, NJ; Radio was all the rage in all 48 states. The two became bosom buddies from the get-go. Both were hit with the reality of, and would grow up in, the Great Depression of the '30s. Radio informed and entertained a struggling nation; Frank, when not tuned into the Red Network or the Blue Network, was learning his ABCs and more from the nuns at St. Paul's grammar school. 1939 brought World War II to Europe, and Radio brought it to every home in America. 1939 took Frank to St. Peter's Prep in Jersey City and four years of Jesuit training. 1943 saw Frank, age 17, enlist in the U.S. Army. In 1946, after serving as a medic in the ETO, Corporal Frank became a college boy at Syracuse University. He graduated with an AB degree in 1949, majoring in English with a broadcasting minor. Frank's wartime dream to be an Air Corps pilot wasn't to be. In 1949, it was back to his old buddy Broadcasting and his true ambition to be a radio announcer. And so it started at WVPO in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. The 1950s found Frank announcing in North Carolina, North Jersey, and Trenton. In February 1963, Frank becomes a Wibbage Good Guy at WIBG in Philadelphia. To the millions of teenagers and their parents growing up in the Delaware Valley during the sixties, he was "Frank X. Feller" who brought warmth and wit to Radio 99 every weeknight from 10 pm until 2 am. The 1970s saw Frank as the first employee of a new station, WYSP, as program director, later to be general manager. In the early 1980s that station was sold and Frank returned to his first love, the microphone, as a talk show host on WWDB. During that time, Frank was active in our organization, the Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia, becoming our 19th president in 1981-82. His active broadcasting career ended in forced retirement in 1990. His announcing co-love, writing, had continued all through the years and included six top-selling children's albums, comedy records, and magazine pieces. 2006 was spent by Frank writing his 400-page book, A Letter from Dad, his life story written for his children and grandchildren, relatives and friends. He and his wife published it privately. They all seem to like it a lot. The former New York Giants fan lives in Wayne, Pennsylvania, with his editor and wife, Valerie. Both are insane Eagles and Phillies fans. With the TV on mute, the old announcer has the Radio on full steam. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Plan B Pursuit | Plan B Pursuit began in Boerne, Texas where two young, lazy restaurant workers (Tim and Jake) met in 2003. After their separate bands (Scamper, Forever Glass) broke up, the young punks began to practice each other's songs in parking lots. After a few months, the practice sessions turned into shows at apartments and street corners. In May of 2005, the duo recorded their first full length (And All I Got Was This Lousy...) with Jake on guitar and Tim on bass and drums, while the two shared vocal and writing duties. The album was released with an overtly positive reception. In June of 2005, the band received an email from Smokey (Filthy & the Muff Divers) applying for the job of percussionist for the band. After the lineup was completed, Plan B Pursuit began playing shows around Texas and building a fan base worldwide. In 2006, the trio began writing and demoing songs for their sophomore release. After playing with bands like The Toasters, No Use For a Name, Whole Wheat Bread, and Cobra Skulls, the band began recording their second full length (Under Your Hat) in December 2006. After a long and frustrating production process, the album is due to be released in stores in July 2008, along with a West coast tour of the United States. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Roman Zavada | Roman Zavada is a self-taught Ukrainian-Québécois pianist whose creative direction is based on instinct, spontaneity, and improvisation. With a pianist for a mother, he got to know the instrument from his early childhood, penning his first composition at the tender age of 4. He then undertook conservatory studies but quickly opted for the path of self-study and experimentation, which suited him far better. He soon developed a taste for the stage, refined his improvisational skills, and released two self-produced albums (Terre de feu, Nuit des temps). In 2005, he took on a responsibility that marked a turning point in his career: replacing Gabriel Thibodeau, the Cinémathèque québécoise silent film accompanist. Invigorated by the experience, he put together the Du cinéma muet au piano parlant show, a resounding success in regions across the entire province of Quebec. After acquiring quite the reputation as a silent film accompanist, he now presents an all-new project: Résonances boréales. Returning to his personal compositions, the pianist continues to explore the dialog between piano and images, this time substituting silent films with aurora borealis in motion in the night sky. He will put his creativity to the test in an extraordinary environment: the Northwest Territories’ boreal forest. This very particular initiative – with no equivalent in the entire world – will lead to a new album and immersive performance experience featuring 360-degree projections in February 2016. Through these two daring, authentic productions, Zavada continues like no other to push the limits of the piano, his only true mother tongue. | |
