Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 6 | 30OT6 | Band from Columbus, Ohio Members: Derrick Zajac - Guitar Brent Billet - Vocals Sean Miller - Bass Tim Dillard - Drums Bio: Based in Columbus, Ohio Thirty Ought Six is an innovative, hard-hitting, groove oriented rock band with high focus on melodies. Their well written songs come together naturally, as if they were writing themselves. This is a true statement to the chemistry between the 4 members, who have come together with like minds to create great music, and share it with the masses. Their defiance against musical genres has actually become the band's style, blending pure rock aggression with texture and sound-scapes of sonic melody. Thankful that the four were brought together, they all shared the same feeling that it was somehow meant to be for a reason. They quickly became close friends, each feeling as though they had grown up together. Their musical chemistry and each other bringing different influences and approaches, seems to blend in a way that makes their song writing and music an irresistible experience to behold. The four did not waste any time as they brought Tim up to speed on some previously existing ideas, adding his unique style completed the material. After a few months, they had written an arsenal of commercially viable yet hard hitting new songs. Setting goals are priority for the band, as they started with the behind the scenes work; copyrighting, promo packs, website, and finding the resources to record and release their first EP, during which they also found time to book and play shows on a regular basis. Their hard work had finally paid off, as they entered the John Schwab Recording studio in Columbus, with engineer Joe "Neo" Viers to record their 7 song EP, self titled: "Thirty Ought Six". Here starts the next chapter for the four, where they have to work hard for that once in a lifetime opportunity. They are focused to keep steady the determination to bring their high energy sonic message to the masses, that are unaware that their favorite CD will have Thirty Ought Six written all over it.

When he was 7, he began playing with Leo's Polka band, soon becoming a Virtuoso. At 12 he developed an interest in Ham Radio -- the beginning of his Electronics education. At 15 he taught himself to play the organ, transposing what he knew from the Accordion -- with the help and inspiration of Lenny Dee records. Search | Add | 6 | Os Cobras Do Teclado | Os Cobras do Teclado | In 1966, Adelar Bertussi and Itajaíba Mattana formed the group "Os Cobras do Teclado", in Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil). In 1967 they recorded their first LP, this formation lasted eleven years, and released nine LPs, with great successes and several dances throughout Brazil. Around 1977, Adelar left the group, where Ilseu Prusch joined, accompanying Itajaíba for a few years. In 1981, the last LP was recorded, with Itajaíba Mattana and Rivadávia Barreto, also featuring Itajaíba's brother, Ubirajara Mattana. Afterwards, Itajaíba continued with "Os Cobras do Teclado", performing throughout southern Brazil. Around 2006, Itajaíba met Willian Ponttes, who began studying and performing alongside Itajaíba, forming again "Os Cobras do Teclado", until mid-2018. In 2019, Itajaíba passed the name "Os Cobras do Teclado", to Willian Ponttes, who in addition to being a student and fellow dancer, is the master's son at heart, for 13 years together. In the same year, in November, the name was relaunched, at 'Clube Vitória', 'Caxias do Sul'. In February 2020, Willian contacted Everton Paschoal. He joined the group in March, after a rehearsal and dance, after taking a break due to the pandemic. Returning in April and releasing the music video entitled ''No Same Rastro'', also taking their name in the title of this new duo's first CD. The month of July brought the first CD of this new formation. Bringing back great hits and new compositions from the initial phase of "Os Cobras do Teclado". |

Search | Add | 6 | Briget Boyle | Briget Boyle | Briget Boyle's songs are compelling reminders that healing and redemption are coming. With gritty, vulnerable lyrics, pristine vocals, and driving playing on her antique Gibson J45, Briget’s 90s rock-tinged songs center the truth-telling power of the human voice. Sincerity is magnetic and Briget's songs often inspire listeners to put pen to paper, clear their throats, and dust off their old guitars. What will happen when you listen? Briget’s songwriting awakens the act of witnessing. She goes deep to mine for truth and what comes out is a powerful vocal expression that is magnetic. Her sound comes from an authentic way of living and is driven by deep connections that she has forged along her diverse path of music making. She views music as the mortar of human experience that ties us together in ways that nothing else can. Earthy and grounded in connection to spirit, Briget possesses an ability to leverage life’s challenges and make music that navigates them with grace. She creates as a means of integration of her lived experiences. Briget's wisdom is not only to learn from past experiences by facing them, but also to embrace the suffering that inevitably leads to more complete insights. Briget was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA where she got an early start in music. As the child of two music industry veterans, she always knew that being a musician was not just a calling, but part of her DNA. Her first professional experience was working in Hollywood's film scoring studios alongside her legendary recording engineer father, the late Tim Boyle. She served as his second engineer for Starship Troopers, Animaniacs, Money Talks and more. She began writing songs right when she was 12 years old and attended the College of Santa Fe to study Music Performance & Composition. It was here that her musical journey took an unexpected turn. She discovered the rich traditional folk music of the Balkans and quickly became a student of the voice and of traditional singing styles. This study led her to many years of performing with Kitka Women’s Vocal Ensemble, Brass Menažeri Balkan Brass Band, and True Life Trio. Briget recognizes the responsibility and opportunities that accompany multi-hyphenate creative life. She is always full of ideas and the sheer audacity to pursue them. Briget founded an independent record label, Waxsimile Productions and queer musician collective, built a successful vocal coaching practice, and has been a key member of various Bay Area world music ensembles. Her musical and professional perspective is unique and it is echoed in her songs. Her new album, Heartbreak Residue is now available. |

Having been compared to peers as avant-garde as Matthewdavid, Venetian Snares and Satanicpornocultshop, it is no wonder his seemingly psychedelic-induced songs reflect better the complexities of a creature than a song itself. Smark may as well be a scientist mixing sounds in place of chemicals, constantly creating and reinventing new species of life. |
