Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | uah | Usman Haque | Composer & multi-instrumentalist 'uah' (aka Usman Haque) creates spectacular interactive events and massive audio-visual experiences that have opened the Singapore Biennale, the Dubai World Cup, London Fashion Week and Toronto's Nuit Blanche. Trained as an architect, his sonic work has featured in commissions for the Barbican, Yamaguchi Centre for Arts and Media, Seoul Museum of Art and the Netherlands Media Art Institute, building on infrasound, electromagnetic spherics, the harmonic possibilities of shepard tones and neural-net driven ultrasonics. His work often engages members of the public using their own voices to drive collective experiences. As an experimental electronic musician, he performs with synths and a range of instruments, as well as his own voice, composing dramatic and cinematic music influenced in part by the improvisational narratives of ghazals and early prog rock. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Moose Charlap | Morris Isaac Charlip | Mark "Moose" Charlap (December 19, 1928 – July 8, 1974) was a Jewish-American Broadway composer. Born in Philadelphia, he was best known for "Peter Pan" (1954), for which Carolyn Leigh wrote the lyrics. The idea to do the show came from Jerome Robbins, who planned to have a few songs by Charlap and Leigh. However, the show evolved into a full blown musical, with additional songs by Jule Styne and Betty Comden and Adolph Green. It starred Mary Martin as Peter Pan and Cyril Ritchard as Captain Hook. Charlap was married to singer Sandy Stewart, whose biggest hit was My Coloring Book in 1962. They had one son--Bill Charlap, a well-known jazz pianist. Charlap had a daughter Anne Charlap and son Tom Charlap, a bass player, from a previous marriage |

| Search | Add | 3 | Patrik L Johansson | Played straight heavy metal drums in the school band Vital Force in Sweden, Iron Maiden covers a.o. same years songs came out and own material, later founder of [a=Sorcery] with other founding members; his 3rd cousin [a=Fredrik Nygren] who united with [a=Ola Malmström], [a=Magnus Karlsson-Mård] and [a=Paul Johansson] in a group then called Acid Queen, and thus [a=Sorcery] was born, heavily inspired by Mercyful Fate, Kreator & Deathrow a.o. (though Sorcery existed in the imagination of Patrik already in 1985 inspired by Celtic Frost a.o.); their second demo would have been named Rivendell as a theme with 3 Dark Angel type of music songs (those written by Patrik like the song Halloween on their first demo), the band however wanted to join the new grindmetal scene, Patrik and Fredrik left the band due to differences in music and all agreed that Sorcery kept their name; so he's not on the album since they changed genres in 1989 though he seems to be on the frontcover... =)>>> (fullbearded man) So later Patrik L Johansson founded Rivendell playing more technometal/fusion drums with highpitch singer [a=Conny Åström], bass player Petter Eriksson from Higher Ground and Peter Sjöberg who later on changed genre to growl vocalbands and became Peter Lake in Theory in Practice...(PL first heard of Mekong Delta from Patrik having all their albums and knowing some of the songs on drums, so they jammed some MD as well as playing Yngwie's instrumental style early on, later PL laid some solos on MD records...but early 90's they strived to be Swedens best techno metal band, at least in rehearsals they were, nowadays that style is heard in Mastodon and Anima Morte songs)...before their record deal they (as a trio: Patrik with Peter & keyboardist/bass player Matthias from TIP) used to have jam sessions with classical influenced music and fusion as Mahavishnu, Confessor a.o. and rehearsals in the Sorcery/Rivendell place with own songs in that genre, much in the same way as Patrik's favorite band Lamb of God started inspired by Confessor early 90's and as LOG later on circa 1999 He shares the same grandancestors in the 5th generation on his mother's side with composer Bo Linde who studied under an old favorite composer Lars-Erik Larsson, and was a friend of Hans Eklund from the same county; and just like Bo Linde he don't follow trends but likes music with a deeper meaning. Another relative he never met was [a=Wolf Johansson], his father's cousin who had the same attitude towards music. He learned drums though from the local big band's drummer [a=Rolf Andersson] at an early age, where Wolf played at times. Jazz have always been a big part of the rockbands he likes, any famous good rock drummer always have listened to jazz. During Wolf's last years they e-mailed about shared ancestry information. He also has named the local Viking society where he lives Fafner, and made english translations for his mother's local history society in the neighbouring village around which he also works with genealogy as an Ancestor Detector. Favorite TV-show (since no more good old american series seems to happen anymore) is Black Adder's sidekick as host in Time Team and the coolest fullbearded (like himself) ZZ Top-style men on TV, though a pescatorian...in Duck Dynasty. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Biarooz | In 2003, C. Ricardino created a new musical project and recorded, electronically, some themes that were compiled in a demo. Later, he reunited João Coutada, José Novo and João Dias. This four musicians decided to present BiarooZ, manifesting a joint will to explore their activity from the electronic base, as well as other artistic manifestations that can be associated to it. In their compositions, the digital programming and samplers are in symbiosis with other conventional instruments (guitar, bass, piano and drums). In the end, all of this sounds like electronic rock that easily becomes an ambient, "jazzy" or a powerful (almost) punk rock. They present live video sessions synchronised harmonically with the sound; they are the perfect soundtrack for their own movies; images with strange and rough sequences, made with powerful colours. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Miss Kytah | Since the 90’s Miss Kytah is well known in the clubbing szene of middle Germany. Not only as a DJane, but also as the organiser of the legendary “TPZ” (Therapiezentrum) partys. Gigs in nearly all german provinces made her a swell of the szene. At least her appearence at the “Sonne, Mond, Sterne” festival (the biggest of it’s kind in Europe) for the last 7 years, resounded her name throughout the land. Busy with that much activities, it is not astonishing that it took time till now for her own appearance on vinyl. With aid of producer Robbie Pallasch she merged her ideas for her tracks in the Geheimlaboratorium studio. Her interpretation of the rock-classic “Children Of The Revolution” was released in spring 2005 from Handwerk Records and contains 4 versions. Her second release is out since July 05, 2006. The 4 track vinyl, called "Heimatlieder EP", is a perfect reflection of her DJ-style. In 2008 she signed a contract with Bigger Bang Records. | |

I have been surrounded by music since I was a kid, as the child of a father who studied western classical music, whose main instrument was bassoon . I love to forming, deforming, creating and destroying. I am not a musician that tries to meet the expectations of the market, I always try to distance myself from such extinctions. I feel/know that I stand with the dreamers and unruly, who are essential for the continuity of the development of any art form. I played in many with bands and albums: Mai, Toz ve Toz, Duygusal Provokasyon, Motorrmoose, Cem Tan Quintet, Robotik Hayaller are a few them. After a short break from the urban life and music, I started composing my solo albums between 2019-20; "Dunkelheit im Horizont", "Soul Path" and "Home Series" were released by Shalgam Records. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | SoulBrigada | SoulBrigada was founded in 2009 by the german artists & musicians Alex D. and Fabio V. With this project they want to pull down stereotyped thinking and musical barriers and present a wide range of various music. As the name SoulBrigada associates Soulmusic is obligatory for them but they’re not limited to this genre – the main point is the SOUL in the music. Moving between Beats & Breaks, Global Grooves, Electronica, Disco & Rare Groove, the listener can always expect an exciting and versatile trip. This passion has also led to music production, which has accumulated a considerable number of releases over the years. It all started in 2011 when their first production, a remix of a song by the 'Gilles Peterson Havana Cultura Band' was officially released on a limited & exclusive vinyl EP. Further releases followed on KAT45, Matasuna Records, Légère Recordings, Resense and Samosa Records. More releases will see the light of day in the near future. In summer 2016 the own label Matasuna Records was launched, which is specialized in reissuing rare music from all over the world, but also doesn't disregard great contemporary music. The label has built up an excellent reputation among music connoisseurs over the years, so that many of the vinyl releases are already sold out. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Guasinca Zuliana | "Guasinca", as it was first called, was formed under a discipline coming from the school of Padre Vílchez, "Los Zagalines", since its creators came from that gaitera chair; they were the brothers Quiroz, Erick and Enrique, to whom their friend Jorge Medina suggests that they put that name to the group, an appellation that means aguardiente in Guajira language. At the start they had to bring a group of gaiteros imported from Zulia; among those who were, at that time, with the virtuoso guitarist Elvis Cano "Cuchillo", on the piano, Jesús "Chuchi" Bermúdez, soloist, Melvin Bucoth "Corrientazo" and Alfredo Solarte on the drums, on the charrasca el popular " Pylon". It also had the participation of good musicians from Caracas including Tony Torrealba in the tambora, Franklin Torrealba in the charrasca, Raúl Sánchez and Leonardo Toro, soloists, Elvis Hernández in the congas and others. It was quite difficult to start in 1984, since they did not have the resources and equipment necessary to stay afloat. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Arm On Stage | Italian project was born in a cottage between the suggestive and secluded hills of the Passo of Sassello (Italy). This is where [a4733507], [a6661440], [a2690771] and [a2749959] met and remained isolated for 10 days to improvise and to let free of their ideas – a process they called improvvision – each with its own instrument but with a new and empathetic approach to it. When they return to Milan they start working on their ideas giving them shape with [a3310217]’s drums rhythmical support and [a1023442]’s electronic aid, ten tracks between songs and psychedelic were born. Recordings were made live by [a302019] in the [l271997], to maintain the original strong sensations whilst performing and the genuine spirit of their original creativity. Although all the members of the band are Italian mother tongue, they decided to use English for this project and be open to an international public leaving behind their own individual life path. Sabrina Pria has contributed to the lyrics turning the improvisions in visions whilst Dave Muldon supervised the grammar and pronunciation. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Red McCoy | Wayne Evon Busbice | Wayne Evon Busbice (1929-2011), who performed and recorded in the fifties and sixties as Red McCoy, is probably most remembered for two things; being the older brother of the troubled and brilliant bluegrass mandolinist/tenor Buzz Busby, and for having written and recorded a strange pseudo-Rockabilly track, "Rock And Roll Atom". Red and Buzz were Louisiana farm boys whose life trajectories could not have been more stark in their differences. While Buzz led a life riddled with drug and alcohol problems, prison stints, and a shattered career, brother Wayne’s many faceted career involved distinguished military service, advanced higher education, and a long run in music as a performer, recording artist and producer. Late in life he authored a volume on the family history of the Busbice name in Louisiana titled "Uncovering the Secrets of a Southern Family: A Memoir", about which a press release states "But the undercurrent of Wayne's life remained a driving need to uncover the family secret: a killing the adults whispered about when they gathered behind closed doors. Wayne discovered he was living under a false name; Cousin Allen was really his grandfather; and Allen had lived a double life as a fugitive from the Pinkerton detectives of the 1890s." |
