Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

He also played on Saskatchewan radio stations, including CKNB North Battleford, CHAB Moose Jaw, CJGX Yorkton and on CFGM (with his band the "Rhythmaires"). Did his share of the little house parties back in the day. Hes from the burbs, but Chicago had some of the best parties in the world back then. Man, every big name DJ right now use to rock all over the city. He started out taggin along with them. Got into most of the parties for free. He will never forget the night when a few DJs didnt show up. And the head DJ let him on. He didnt have his records so he used the other DJs records. It was after that party that people started to recognize his skills on the decks.NOW, he spins alot with CDs. Its much easier to transport from party to party. Instead of carrying 10 or 15 heavy record crates. He refuses to use the new software which allows alot of DJs to use the Beat match feature or allow the software to help the DJ in what ever way. Every now and then, he still pulls out the Vinyl to show the new up and coming DJs how its really done. Rodney now has his own record labels, RodSMFunk Records, Funk N Fro Records, & A-Town Digital Records to add to his claim. Specializing in House music. A participant and organizer of the series of the first successful Lviv rave parties "Рейвах" (starting from 1995), as well as many other club events in Lviv and Kyiv. A frequent guest at parties and festivals in different parts of Ukraine, he played with many well-known DJs from the CIS and abroad. Resident of the dance floor "Лаборатория" at the international festival КаZантип 2002. At one time he carried out educational work through radio shows broadcast in Western Ukraine, running his own nighttime dance music projects on the radio station "Львівська Хвиля" (Нео Пост, Екстремум Чарт), as well as the programs "Нео Пост" and "Терті Перці" on Радіо Ініціатива, through which he introduced many listeners to “intelligently crafted” electronic music. Since 2000 he worked as the art manager of the cult club "Лялька". In 2002 he moved to Kyiv, where three mixes were later released on the label Moon Records. In Kyiv he hosted the radio show DJ Special on the nationwide radio station Niko FM. Organizer of a number of successful parties as part of DJ's Afterwork, and a frequent participant in events organized by the Federation of Extreme Sports. Co-owner of the independent label Chicken Records and the DJ and MC school "Back 2 School Proffi". Author of reviews and articles in the magazine DJam. JDM is also organisator from the Dutch goa/psy trance organisation and label "Global Aura". |
