Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 28 | La Milagros | Milagros Hernández | Salsa singer from Dominican Republic, Milagros Hernández was also known as La Milagros or La Loba, she is a niece of [a2795482]. |

Search | Add | 28 | Michele Grassani | Michele Rave Grassani | NOISE / AVANT-GARDE musical project from the city of Pavia (Italia) and runs by the curious musician Michele Rave Grassani. Grassani plays in Thysanura since 2010 and make a kind of mixture of: noise, industrial, ambient, drone…and more things from his own imagination. The Thysanura´s sound is really lo fi, crude, rude, junk, trashy and totally "old school Industrial" style. Michele ("Mikele" pronounced in italian) make music in another personal projects such as: Canis Dirus Militia, Senza Nome, Eukaryota and Michael Palmer. And with these projects he experimented with another musical styles such as: martial industrial, field recordings, dub, tapes manipulation, free improvisatin and much more. Nowadays we can affirm he is one of the most interesting musicians in the italian experimental music scene. |

Search | Add | 28 | Robyn Nice | Unknown | An anonymous singer/songwriter whose music largely resides in the loner-folk and sound art idioms, none of the releases attributed to him mention the name Robyn Nice. Instead, this is the earliest known identity under which he was creatively active and has consequently become a de facto way to refer to the individual behind the body of work given that every recording he has issued is credited to a unique artist or ensemble. While the confirmed personnel on early group recordings suggests a youth at least partially spent in Hammond, Louisiana, the bulk of the artist's output is believed to derive from time spent living in the greater Chicago area, though it is unknown if he still resides there or how contemporaneous any of his recordings were with their release. As well, given the unconventional distribution of most of these releases (i.e. turning up in thrift shops, anonymously dumped in independent record stores, featuring in specialty collectors' mail-order lists), they tend to trade hands for greater-than-average prices on the rare occasions that they do surface. No official point of contact for the artist exists, but the Rabbit Run Down The Hole Of A Skull blogspot fansite is considered a good source for what little information is known; an unofficial Bandcamp page streams audio of the known releases, many of which are on the Discogs database. As of this writing, it is known that several small-run lathe-cut discs were released in 2017 in addition to those from the same series already featuring on this page. Fans of Robyn Nice are hopeful that, in time, information about these recordings will also become readily available. |

Search | Add | 28 | Moonshine Stalkers | Formally known as Killing Seymour, this band have been around for a while. After Killing Seymour lost their vocalist, the rest of the band decided to go on the hunt for a new singer, whilst in the meantime using guitarist, Ricky, to fill in on vocal duties. After a few gigs and some thought, the boys decided that they were doing just fine as a three piece. With Ricky on guitar and vocals permanently, they started to work on new material. With this came a new sound with a totally different feel to the music, and in one smooth transition they became, The Moonshine Stalkers. With each of the band members having such varied musical tastes and influences, its hard to pin point any one type of style to tag their sound, but if you like psychobilly punk rockin' noise, and you like it loud and freakin' fast, then check out THE MOONSHINE STALKERS! In the summer of 2011, The Moonshine boys made some changes to the sound...and with the help of another guitarist/vocalist, Andy Kandil, stripped the sound down to a zero bullshit assault on the brain. Also, the boys walked in Camden Recording Studios and recorded an EP"LOOK WHOS STALKING" fresh-written tunes produced by that nutter, Doyley!

Search | Add | 28 | Teresin Jaen | Tereso de Jesús Jaén | Teresín Jaén was considered the most popular Panamanian cumbia musician of the 20th century, born in the corregimiento of La Palmira in the district of Las Tablas in the province of Los Santos on June 23rd, 1942. When he was young he and his family moved to El Sesteadero, where he grew up and where his father was dedicated to agriculture. From an early age he played the accordion with ease, usually using the accordion of his brother Salvador Jaén. The first songs he played were "Me Voy Con Soledad" (I'm Going With Soledad) and "Comiendo Caramelos" (Eating Candies) which were popular during his childhood and adolescence. His first performance was in a small village called Quindi in the district of Pedasí in the 1950s. He had to replace his brother on the accordion because he was injured. Teresín also played the churuca (a Panamanian guiro) for 25 cents. His first presentation outside the province of Los Santos was in the province of Chiriquí, along with his group [a=Conjunto Alma Interiorana]. His first record, released by [l=Grabaciones Luna] in 1961, was Rosa / Borracho Y Amanecido, which sold 20,000 copies, a record at the time in Panama. His nicknames were "El Zurdito De Oro" (The Golden Lefty) and "El Taquillero" (The King of the Box Office) because his shows were always full and sold out. He was also one of the best paid accordionists of the time, earning $20,000 in 4 days during the Carnaval of 1975. He had a hard time managing his fame, often falling into excesses, and he also suffered from alcoholism. He had 8 cars of the highest cylinder for the time. His personal life was very controversial, he had many children with various lovers all over the country. Later in life his popularity faded and he went into poverty in the early 1990s. He was abandoned by his family and friends, his house was in ruins, and he lived alone. Only his cousin César Jaén visited to pay for utilities and food. In a 2002 interview he said that he had been living this way for the past 12 years. He died on August 8th, 2004 when he was hit by a car. On the night of his death hundreds of fans and friends gathered at Belisario Porras Park in the city of Las Tablas. His funeral was presided over by the bishop of the diocese of the provinces of Herrera and Los Santos, in the legendary Church Tableña de Santa Librada, where hundreds of people gathered, including several Panamanian musicians and accordionists. His remains lie in the Francisco González Roca cemetery in Las Tablas. In his lifetime he recorded 580 singles, 1 CD, and 4 LPs. |

Search | Add | 28 | Jeramy Roberts | Jeramy Roberts is the founder of the Electronic Musicians Guild. The E.M.G. started in early 2002 as an underground, members only, warehouse club in Seattle. Jeramy had been playing raves and clubs since 1999 and observed that a lot of the venues and promoters were gravitating towards a more commercial dynamic, thus giving way to the idea of E.M.G. Drawing a lot of influence from the early Detroit Techno sound it has evolved into what it is today. Jeramy sold records in 27 countries in 2013 and his music production work has earned him several top 100 Sales spots at record stores such as “Hard To Find Records” in London, “satellite EDM” in New York and AMAZON MP3 USA. He is currently Executive Director of Promotions at both Skylar Records and Asnazzy Productions. He is also the Owner and Manager of E.M.G. Recordings.

Search | Add | 28 | Keith Wint | Keith Wint | Keith Wint (born in the Parish of Colleyville, Manchester, Jamaica) better known as Jah Benji Maccabees, is a Jamaican/British record Producer and Singer who was a key figure in the creation of many classic reggae recordings dating from the early 1980s. Keith gained his nickname "Jah Benji" after the twelve tribes Rasta, as one of the twelve brothers of the tribe of Israel. In the latter half of the 1970s he worked as mechanical engineer at Hawker Sydley Aero Space, he began playing music when he was just five years old by playing the Violin, at Woodbury Down Primary School. He started producing music at the age of 23, his first release being '[r=6214830]' by [a1219040], issued on his own [l=Maccabees] label. A friendship was formed with [a=Sugar Minott] who gave Keith a 2” Master tape with various recordings of Philip Fraser who he was recording at the time. Some of these tracks were released on a various Artist Album Called Maccabees 1. While working at Easy Street Studio he produced [a=Dennis Brown] and played a major role in re launching his career, his first major success as a producer was '[m=311147]' in March 1983, initially released in a pressing of 500 on his Maccabees label, but reissued the following year on his [l128533] label under licence to EMI records through Jet Star Phonographic, and going on to sell over 80,000 copies in Jamaica and the Caribbean. Unfortunately neither Dennis nor Keith benefited from these sales because every one who put their finger in that pie, starting with EMI records, ripped them off. Around the same time he released a song co produced with Walter Fraser, [a=John Holt] singing '[m=533752]', a cover version of [a=Lionel Richie]’s song, which was very popular through out Europe and America. He also co produced Dennis Brown '[r=6982426]'. Janice McKenzie over saw the day-to-day publishing from the Mill Hill office in Trafalgar House In the early 1990s, Keith Wint became one of UK's most in-demand producers, with the likes of Dennis Brown, John Holt, [a=Junior Delgado], [a=Sugar Minott], [a=Phillip Fraser], [a=Alton Ellis], [a=Tyrone Taylor], [a=Trevor Walters], [a=Jackie Mittoo], [a=Gene Rondo], [a=Colour Man], [a1374007], [a=Ernest Wilson],[a=Hughie Izaachar], [a=Jean Adebambo], [a=Christine McNabb], [a=Bobby Blue], [a=Pablo Diamond], [a=Sly & Robbie], [a=The Darbaz], [a=Roots Radics], and more recently [a=Freddie McGregor], [a=Determine] and [a=Demolition Man], all using his services. He also continued to record himself. Singing songs like 'Stepping over Shadows', written by his childhood friend Fitzroy Hughes, whose father was a musician with a band. Keith used to go to Fitzroy’s home and listen to Fitzroy's father while he rehearsed with his band. The sounds of the three piece horn sections, the Drum and the Bass left a lasting impression on Keith and the music bug was in his blood, as if his life depended on it. The late 1990s saw him still very active as a producer, but his output in the late 1990s was significantly less He began to build his own studio and is working on reissues of much of his back catalogue, as well as new recordings. He continues to produce new material. |

Starting as a trio, the band grew to be a septet by 1933 and an octet by 1938. Despite the promotional images that display the band standing behind four accordions, the lineup never included more than one accordion, always played by co-leader [a=Roy Simonson] (except on the last Decca session in 1941). Apart from this, the personnel included one or two clarinets (sometimes replaced by a saxophone), piano, banjo (played by Berg), tuba, and drums or celesta. Many band members were Scandinavian Americans, but their repertoire comprised not only Scandinavian, but also Czech, German, or Polish titles. For more than 20 years, the band regularly played on WOI, WKBH, KGLO, and other radio stations in Iowa, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. In December 1933, the band recorded 4 titles for [l=Gennett] in Richmond, Indiana, that appeared on Gennett's [l=Champion (5)] label but only after this label had been acquired by Decca (1935-1936). One of these releases was reissued in 1941 on Decca 5927, as part of Decca's Country series. In November 1941, the band recorded another half dozen titles for [l=Decca] itself. Most of the band's recordings, however, were made between October 1934 and October 1936 for the [l=American Record Corporation] (ARC). They were released on ARC labels such as [l=Banner], [l=Conqueror], [l=Melotone], [l=Perfect (3)], [l=Romeo], and [l=Vocalion (2)]. After 1940, when CBS had acquired ARC, it reissued some of the [l=Vocalion (2)] releases on the revived [l=Okeh] label.

Search | Add | 27 | Emanuel Eisbrenner | Emanuel Eisbrenner | **Emanuel Eisbrenner: Berlin's Underground Techno Artist** Emanuel Eisbrenner, a Berlin-based artist, has devoted his life to the underground techno scene since 1993. Known for his ability to ignite dancefloors and transport listeners on sonic journeys, Eisbrenner has firmly established himself in the world of underground techno. His signature style seamlessly blends pulsating beats with hypnotic melodies, creating an immersive sound experience that captivates audiences. Emanuel's musical journey began at the age of seven with a Yamaha keyboard. Over the years, he expanded his toolkit with a Commodore C-64 computer, a Roland D-10 synthesizer, and an Amiga 500, allowing him to experiment with MIDI, sampling, and sequencing long before he even knew where this would lead him. His fascination with electronic soundscapes deepened after a DJ family friend's introduction to the film "Beat Street," sparking his passion for electronic dance music. Emanuel soon acquired an 8-track mixer and began his sound experiments, drawing inspiration from the pioneers of techno and electronic music. Emanuel Eisbrenner's dedication to his craft led him to develop a unique musical identity within the techno scene. His productions, much like his DJ sets, push the boundaries of conventional techno. His tracks are known for their meticulous attention to detail, haunting soundscapes, and intricate layering. By combining analog warmth with digital production techniques, he creates a sonic palette that is both deep and immersive. He studied audio engineering at the SAE College in Berlin, earning a diploma focused on analog sound synthesis. Throughout his career, Emanuel has collaborated with several Berlin techno artists, including Mad Max and Gianni Vitiello, in projects such as Subdealers. His connections extended across the Atlantic when he met Tom Linder and DJ Seoul from Detroit's Detroit Techno Militia at Tresor club, who played his tracks in their 2x4 showcase. They invited him to Detroit, where he played his first set in 2016 at the legendary BangTech 12 party. This experience felt like a homecoming for Emanuel, and he has returned annually, fostering a creative exchange and deepening his love for Detroit's techno scene. During the pandemic, Emanuel embraced streaming as a tool to share his sound with a global audience. He joined the platform techno-club.net, becoming one of its resident artists. As the techno landscape continues to evolve, Emanuel Eisbrenner remains at the forefront, pushing sonic boundaries and inspiring audiences with his authenticity and skill on the turntables. His influence leaves an indelible mark on the hearts and minds of music lovers around the world. **Techno! Never less!** |

Search | Add | 27 | San Francisco Street Music | San Francisco Street Music (SFSM) was an underground hip-hop group in San Francisco during the early to mid 1990s. Originally formed by Corey Harris and Charles Hurbert in 1994, SFSM's music was defined by their highly personal lyrics and emotionally charged beats. Following the self-produced "Word o' Mouth" album (cassette) in 1995, SFSM became a collective of other local artists such as Joe Dubs, Jes (Who Cares?), AC75 and many others. "Still Defiant" was released in 1996 as a compilation of songs and snippets recorded during 1995 and featured artists such as Big Shawn (Bored Stiff), Shon Rich (7Gen), Po' EM (Knot Tight), as well as many others. 1995-1998 saw the relase of multiple off-shoot albums such as "The Pride," "The Money Tree," "Coincidentals & Instrumentals," "Skool of Thought," "Noise Pollution" and "From There To Here." While SFSM never realized broad commercial success, they were considered by many one of the more unique and overlooked groups to emerge from the West Coast underground scene.

Search | Add | 27 | John Wayne Gacy | John Wayne Gacy | John Wayne Gacy (17 March 1942, Chicago — 10 May 1994, Stateville Correctional Center, Illinois) was an American serial killer and rapist who brutally murdered over thirty male teenagers and young adults between 1972 and 1978 in his house. He was arrested in December 1978, dubbed the "Killer Clown" by the thrill-seeking American press after the investigation revealed his volunteering as a clown for children's hospitals. Gacy was found guilty of 33 counts of murder, the highest number in the US legal history at the time, and sentenced to death in March 1980. He spent 14 years on death row, where J.W. Gacy began drawing and gave numerous interviews before his execution by lethal injection. Like many serial killers, Gacy led a "double life" for decades — married twice, for instance, and even had two children. He only served a brief prison sentence in 1967 for his first sexual assault on a minor in Iowa; after settling in Chicago, John maintained his pristine facade of a decent, well-established citizen. Gacy was a Moose fraternity member and joined its local "Jolly Joker" clown club circa 1975, long after his killing spree began. He created two characters with full makeup and costumes, "happy" Pogo the Clown and more "serious" Patches, and performed numerous times at local fundraisers, political functions, and children's parties. J.W. Gacy engaged in politics, volunteering at Democratic Party headquarters and serving on various Norwood Park Township committees. Between 1975 and 1978, Gacy was a director of Chicago's annual Polish Constitution Day Parade and even met with [a=Rosalynn Carter] in May 1978, only seven months before his arrest; a publicity photo shows Gacy's handshake with the First Lady, with the US Secret Service "security clearance" pin visible on his jacket. After his sentencing, Gacy spent 14 years in solitary confinement at Menard Correctional Center in Randolph County, Illinois. He became an amateur painter and illustrator, drawing varied subjects like portraits (including his self-portraits in clown disguise), birds, skulls, or images of Christ. John Wayne sold many artworks over mail, which became sought-after among "murderabilia" collectors, reaching up to $12,000 in auction sales. Several musicians extensively corresponded with J.W. Gacy, such as Canadian "cowpunker" [a=Glen Meadmore], who purchased several paintings, including his portrait later used on [r=2843028] album's cover, and notorious punk rocker [a=GG Allin], who visited Gacy on death row multiple times. When Todd Phillips began working on Allin's documentary biopic [m=425206] as his junior student project in 1993, he wrote Gacy and asked to paint an upcoming movie poster. The killer responded with a collect call from death row, demanding a $50 fee and Todd's compromising photo; Edward complied, taking a "hawkish" photo on the roof and sending a money order. After printing posters, Todd Edwards sold them for $15 through ads in local punk zines like [l=Maximumrocknroll] and Flipside, raising over $10,000, which covered most of the film production costs; in subsequent interviews, Edwards jokingly referred to Gacy as the project's "true executive producer." The same portrait later appeared on the [m=425576] soundtrack album by [a=GG Allin & The Murder Junkies]. Other bands that used Gacy's drawings include [a=Acid Bath], a sludge metal band from Louisiana, and Missourian post-hardcore [a=Season To Risk]. In 1988, [a=Bruce LaBruce] made a 12-min experimental short, Bruce and Pepper Wayne Gacy's Home Movies, co-directed with [a=Candy Parker] and starring LaBruce, [a=Dave Dictor], and G.B. Jones. Over the years, a few mainstream film portrayals of J.W. Gacy came out, starting with a 1992 TV film, To Catch a Killer, with [a=Brian Dennehy] playing his role. |

From 1993 - 1998 Interstellar Cementmixers still on cassette, produced several Warped Dust style albums. Some of these cassettes featured reviews in AUDION magazine and by Andy G at C&D Services, which led to sales figures doubling. Cell Block Z released in 1997 satisfied the early experimental leanings, which led to the final cassette album Catacomb Discord which released in 1998. 1999 was the start of the Interstellar Cementmixers transition to CD which led them to release another 5 albums. Accessibility to digital recording facilities in 2011 led them to release Submerged Reality, followed by a number of remastered albums from Auricle in 2017.

Search | Add | 27 | Schrei der Natur | Daniel Rossi | Schrei der Natur is the solo and only ongoing music project of Daniel Rossi. Since 2015 and during the last seven years he developed a wide spectrum of sound sub genres mainly linked to industrial, noise, dark ambient and acustic. At the very beginning of his activity he used different working approches and self taughts techniques such as the alteration of cd´s and vinyls in order to obtain a real raw sound of destruction in wich effects and music played no role. Later his passion for acustic and ethno-instruments like mandolas, balalaikas, flutes and percussions has influenced his main sound aesthetic. After years of live/field recordings of performances, mostly in the depth of nature, with no audience and in total isolation,he started to re-arrange in studio the collected material using cut ups technique and chaos magick philosopy. Today, strongly motivated by the refusal of using any pre written material in his live sets he reduced his sound to a 12 strings guitar and started focusing on his lirycs, seeing his performances and songs as a tool to deliver a sound form he named "mediterranean darkness". During the last seven years he performed as Schrei der Natur and Son ov Damien in many locations such as Kunstverin GAK , MS Stubnitz , Hamburg Hörbar , Breminale , Kultur Bunker , Galerie Herold , Galerie Flut , The Elephant , Lauschangriff Berlin ,Rote Flora Hamburg, HFK & Güter Bahnof Bremen and since 2016 he runs his own lable created to discover hidden music/sounds realms wich do not agree with contemporary trends and mentality. |
