Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024
Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Gang Is Alles | It is the autumn of 1993, one of the Ameland village festivals is in full swing. And sometimes you don't need much more than that, a beer and a chat in a marquee, to come up with the best ideas. For example, the idea of starting a new band. The plans that were carefully drawn up in that autumn still need some time to mature, but in 1994 Taryadi Boelens and Daniël Metz founded 'Gang is Alles'. The Amelander band also consists of Martijn Boelens and Heru Metz. The fast repertoire with many own songs, the sounds from an old, dusty accordion by Daniël and the high party level mean that the link with the music of Rowwen Hèze is quickly established. It brings the boys to stages in various halls, tents and bars. First on the island, but not much later, performances ashore are increasingly the rule rather than the exception. The popularity of Rowwen Hèze rises to great heights and Gang is Alles is regularly impresses the band at concerts, because not much later they are asked to play support act for the Limburgers. It will be a great success, resulting in even more performances and special requests. In this way they also end up in the support act for Jovink and the Voederbietels. After seven years full of highlights, including their own album, Martijn and Heru decide to leave the band. Their successors are Gerjan den Hartogh and William Beijaard. They are rapidly being prepared (because corridor is everything) for big performances. With the arrival of the new band members, the repertoire also gets a small metamorphosis. The Rowwen Hèze style is complemented by other genres. The result: more songs, more variety, but still performed in a unique way. The success continues unabated and the agenda of Gang is Alles remains busy. In the meantime, training courses are completed, new jobs are taken and sometimes even relocations to the mainland. The individual agendas are increasingly difficult to combine with those of the band and in 2008 it is decided to stop. Daniël, a stage animal pur sang, continues to perform together with William. From Hollum to Haarlem and from Buren to Broeksterwoude, the two crowds know how to sing along and celebrate. The accordion still plays an important role, now there is a whole arsenal in the cupboard. The only thing missing all these years is an official band name. Gang is Alles Because the statement 'Gang is Alles' still fits perfectly with the energetic performances full of sing-alongs and danceable songs, Daniël decides, with the approval of the former band members, to restore the old name in 2016. The composition may have changed, but Gang is Alles still provides one big party. And that will never change.

Search | Add | 2 | Conterm_red | Conterm_red was founded in the late 90's by Winfried Strauss. He developed the music slowly from trackerbased computer music towards industrial and EBM. In 1998 Tom joined Conterm_red as vocalist and songwriter as well. After releasing the more industrial and lofi sounding MCD [r=1190541] Conterm_red changed their music style by including more and more electronic elements and went into the music studio Audiodrome in Mannheim to record their songs. The next EP [r=1190537] was released exactly two years after the first MCD. Today Conterm_red represents a hard, technoid sound without any vocals except sampled voices and a music style somewhere between Thomas P. Heckmann and Tragic Error.
Search | Add | 2 | 33 Days | Originally forming in 1997 as a acoustic duo Ricky and Ed started a band called Billy Sunday. Shortly after forming they gained drummer Nathan Ross, however this was short lived. Nathan didn't want to play drums. Rearranging the band, it stood as Ricky Burdette - guitar/vocals, Nathan Ross - guitar/vocals, Ed Harris - bass. This line up held up for about a year until Nathan decided to leave the band to pursue a career in the Navy. After losing Nathan Ricky and Ed began the search for a drummer. This search lasted for about six months until they met and auditioned Brian Lipham through a mutual friend. Brian was officially inducted into the band two days after his audition. The newly formed Billy Sunday began writing songs. Roughly two months after Brian joined the band Ricky and Ed were introduced to Brian's friend K.C., who showed up one day to listen to the band practice. After hearing a few songs he asked to play with them for a while. K.C. was placed in the band that afternoon. Finally through much thought and effort the band decided on it's new name, 33 Days. After about half a year after the addition of Brian & K.C., in order to allow Ricky to focus on playing and writing guitar, Mark Phelps was added to the band to handle the lead vocals and lyric-writing. This is the band as it stands, its blend of musical styles make it a chameleon of sorts Line-Up: Brian Lipham Casey Wade Ricky Burdette Ed Harris Josh Thornhill

Search | Add | 2 | Petit Gateau | Raphael Drouskaniev | ‘Petit Gâteau’ is an outstanding recipe born in Paris in the family stove. In 2010, ‘Petit Gâteau’ decided to grow up by becoming the very first biscuit of the electronic French scene. Influenced by artists from everywhere, from The Timewriter to Dominik Eulberg, from Julio Bashmore to Trentemoller, also from Eek a mouse to Chris Liberator, he started a crispy and tasty adventure. Between Deep House and cocktails on the beach, catchy Minimal and vitamin C, but also PsyTrance, ‘Petit Gâteau’ stands out from traditional recipes by bringing the coolness of a ‘salade niçoise’ but with this strong and unusual taste of the ‘Moutarde de Dijon’ (Dijon Mustard). |
