Discogs artists that do not appear to exist in MusicBrainz

Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024

Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.

The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.

These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.

Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.

Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.

There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.

One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report

We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.

Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

In November 2003 Arenna group started a recent carrier, but some of the members has been working in electronic music productions for 5 years. Showing their independent songs in radios and clubs around São Luis, a city located in the northeast of Brazil, state of Maranhão, Arenna became notorious for their great remixes. "Ferveção" by Dj Victor Diniz and "I Hope Enjoy" by Dj Esteverson were big hits and still stimulate the crowd when its been played around brazil. This was the main idea that influenced Arenna's formation. Arenna developed their musical background in the Brazilian culture beats, this is a big opportunity to choose the best vibration to their remixes and 100% original songs. "In our music productions we try to express what's interesting in the culture of Brazil" - says Dj Victor. From this point, Arenna decided to have their own singer, Thais Diniz, Dj victor's sister. She joined the group since the beginning of 2004 but she has been singing for a long time. Like Dj Esteverson always says: "Thais is the perfect combination to arenna's productions." Durating 6 years Arenna was named - charted for all the most important djs around the world, charts & magazines. Arenna collaborated to singers and producers to # 1 billboard as: Amuka , Maya Azucena, Deborah Cox, Ceevox, Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Altar and others. Doripan, Victor Diniz, Esteveson, makes the Arenna Group the most respectably artists of the dance music @ Brazil.

Search Add 2 506 Crew 506 Crew is a dynamic Reggae Band based in Central Florida. They consistently ignite the state with their brand of Contemporary, Dancehall, and other styles of Reggae music, simultaneously soothing the souls of their fans with sensual original ballads. Their experience and professionalism is vast as they have performed with many well known artist such as Maxi Priest, Yellowman, Jimmy Cliff, Third World, and Freddie Mcgregor, just to name a few. The leader of 506 Crew is Tony Blair. Born in Jamaica, he adds his own authentic vibes to this band comprised of multicultural members. Tony is very talented on the keyboards and his vocals go with out saying. He is an ardent lyricist and entertainer and has been playing keys from a very early age. His talent and persona never goes unheard. Ilismo is from the enchanted island of St. Maarten. She brings a classic, yet soulful, Caribbean flavor with her versatile vocals. This talented songstress, who is also one of the lead singers in the group, says her vocal chords are “Strong as mahogany yet gentle as the Caribbean Sea.” On bass, from the Isle of Spice that is Grenada is Kelvin Parks. Since migrating to the U.S. he has played the hotel circuit both in New York and Florida and has performed with Tropical Steel, Mattocks International, and now 506 Crew. The creative energy that flows through the unique song writing collaboration of Ilismo and Tony Blair is incredible. Tony has produced three albums. The first is “Talk It Over” which contains both conscious lyrics and nostalgia and is performed in a rootsy traditional style. His second album “Jah Love” is a must have for the conscious-minded music lover. The third album is a collection of their very own “new” and revamped “oldies but goodies”. 506 Crew promises a natural high, which is delivered through rhythm and harmony, an undeniable combination.
