Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 8 | Goatamentise | Death metal / Hardcore band from Bronx, New York formed in 1993 by current vocalist Barry Ruiz. Combining his love of deathmetal & hardcore music into a blend called “Deathcore” or “New York Deathcore”, ahead of its time then and now considered an established genre in its own right. However, the “NYDC” sound Goatamentise created remains true to each of the elements it takes from. Opening for well known national & regional acts, Goatamentise established itself quickly in the early 90's. After many lineup changes in the late 90's early 2000's and eventual split up in 2007, a decision was made in 2019 to return. 2023 marked it's 30th non consecutive year as a band and is now working on NEW music for a new album. | |

| Search | Add | 8 | Pandit Govindram | Pandit Gobind Ram | Pandit Gobindram was from Punjab and started his career as a music director in Hindi Films in the late 1930s when he composed for Jeevan Jyoti (1937). He composed music for many Punjabi and Hindi films made in Lahore. Among them, Mangti (1942, Punjabi) and Sahara (1943,Hindi) were notable films. Mangti celebrated silver jubilee and is also remembered as a debut film of playback singer Zeenat Begum. After partition, he shifted to Mumbai and composed music for few Hindi films including Sarkar (1951), Jalpari (1952) and Raj Mahal (1953). He worked extensively with Shamshad Begum and also composed the most number of songs for her, approximately 86 Hindi songs in 19 films. Panditji was a true Lahori. Other music directors based at Lahore immediately shifted to Bombay when they achieved little prominency, like Shyam Sunder, Master Ghulam Haider, Feroze Nizami, Khurshed Anwar, Rashid Atre, Amar Nath etc but he stayed at Lahore until partition compelled him to cross the Redcliff line |

| Search | Add | 8 | Mirza Hodža Minno | Mirza Hodža | Born in Tuzla In mid-1998 Minno was imprisoned for 8 years. The reason for this was an escalated argument with his girlfriend at the time, because she cheated on him during his concert in Rijeka . Minno became violent during the argument and inflicted several stab wounds on her. After taking her to a local clinic in Tuzla , he turned himself in to the police in Munich , despite the fact that there was no charge or warrant for his arrest. The song Ne troši suze na mene , which turned out to be one of his most successful songs along with Na dan il' dva , was recorded again in 2000 by his producer Halid Muslimović.To date, Minno's version, despite its originality, has almost fallen into oblivion, and the interpretation, by the more popular Halid Muslimovic, has become much more widespread and popular. The album Ti si me izdala was released by its producer Halid Muslimovic in 2000 while Minno was in prison. The album was recorded and completed before his arrest. |

A Good Rogering fuses the heavy-hitting rock of bands like Megadeth, Black Label Society, and Mastodon with the dynamic prowess and eclecticism of those such as Faith No More, Type O Negative, and Clutch. With the release of their debut album Long Overdue in 2010, AGR unloaded a hard, heavy, and uninhibited brand of eclectic rock into the back alleys of the Live Music Capital of the World. Led by vocalist/guitarist Skunk Manhattan, the quartet-turned-trio released their follow-up album Lifeblood in 2013. With the departure of founding member and bassist Aric “Chef” Wright in 2015, the band took a brief hiatus until reforming as a quintet in 2016 and subsequently released This Is Death Metal in 2017. Internationally represented on labels in Germany, United States, Italy & Russia, their sound is as multifarious as spread over the world. Something that is obvious considering their strong believe in creating the right mood for every party is what counts most. Although 2020 made a halt to playing live, they bundled their energy with Jorginho Joao to create their label and musical outlet „Dance Petrol Records“ to give home to various styles of house music. Apart from forming their idea of house music on their own label, they are already looking forwarding to ending 2020 with a bang, their first vinyl release on Mango Sounds! While they already released on well known labels like Plastik People, Soulbrain Records as well as Igor Gonyas Sundries and Lisztomania Records, their so far most successfull belter was released on HDSNs NBAST. “Disco Dolly” climbed up to Traxsource top 6 deephouse charts and stayed in top10 for 3 weeks. |

| Search | Add | 8 | عزيزة جلال | عزيزة محمد جلال (ʿAzīza Muḥammad Jalāl) | Aziza Jalal is an iconic Arabic singer from Morocco, she currently lives in Saudi Arabia and is a Saudi national. Before fame and marriage, the singer dedicated her life to the study of music. Young Aziza Jalal studied music in Meknes before participating in a singing competition called Mawahib (Talents) supervised by renowned Moroccan singer Abdelnabi Al Jirari in 1975. During the competition, the singer performed songs of well-known Egyptian and international Arab icons, such as Shadia and Ismahan. In a singing career that lasted from 1975 to 1985, Aziza Jalal became a popular classical singers across the Arab world before deciding to give up the artistic scene for a life of piety with a Saudi husband. She was known to be King Hassan II of Morocco's favourite singer, and often appeared on Moroccan television and at state occasions singing nationalistic, pan-Arab, and Islamic-themed material. The singer had made a name for herself as one of the top Arab singers in the 70s and 80s. Not too little to late, her vocals have made headlines again as she astonished the world by singing a few verses from her song during the television show. Jalal’s song “Mestaniyak” was covered by Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram, one of the most popular Arab artists. The song’s lyrics come from the repertoire of the great Egyptian musician Mohamed Abdelouahab. The composer of the song was renowned musician Baligh Hamdi. Aziza Jalal, however, had several other famous songs, including Min Hakek T’atebny (You have the right to blame me,) and Houa El Hob Le’baa (Love is a Game.) Jalal’s early songs achieved commercial success in the UAE and in Egypt, and with the help of songwriter and poet Abdel Wahab Mohammed and artist Sayed Makkawi, among others, she quickly became a household name in the entire Arab world. n 1985, Aziza Jalal chose to leave the stage. Aziza Jalal married a Saudi businessman Ali bin Butti al-Ghamdi who gave her the right to decide whether or not she wants to retire. She didn't think much into it and decided to leave. She stated that wasn't a decision she regrets. The proposal suddenly ended her career in the music industry, leaving her fans disappointed, knowing that she could have added even more hits to her already impressive list of songs. May 22, 2019 marked a surprise for the Arab World. It was the day that Moroccans and fans across the Arab world had the chance to meet again with the prominent Moroccan arabic singer, Aziza Jalal, who was out of the spotlight for 34 years. The singer made her first appearance since 1985 on a television show aired by MBC television channel. The TV show is called “Likaa mina sifr” or “meeting from scratch.” In the show, the singer also wowed audiences across the world when she performed her legendary song “Mestanyak,” translated as “I am waiting for you” in English, with the same passion and maybe a little bit more. The interview with Aziza Jalal was also posted by the television show on YouTube. The interview generated more than 1 million views and thousand of comments. After a 34-year hiatus, Jalal returned to the stage on Thursday 26 December 2019 at Winter at Tantora.[8] Jalal's much anticipated performance started at 10 p.m. Aziza Jalal, who has kept a low profile for more than 30 years, rekindled emotions as generations were enchanted by her voice and songs. She thanked her fans “for coming to see me after a long hiatus. I’ve never been away from you, you have always been in my heart. I'm back today because of your love for me. I decided to come back to participate in these joyful events in our country.” During the concert,Aziza Jalal performed “Love is not a game” composed by Muhammad Al-Mouji and written by Mamoun Al-Shinawai, and "Waiting for you (Mestaniyak) which the audience enjoyed immensely. She also performed many of her classics. Her message to the youth was: “Hear us out because we are the past, and the past needs the present and the future, hear us out so that we hear you out.”. |

| Search | Add | 8 | Howard Lovett | Howard W Lovett II | Howard W Lovett II (b. About 1950) is an audio engineer and co-owner (with his wife Lindy Lovett) of [l716272], also known as Studio South Productions. The studio was moved previously, and has been located two former locations (with no two locations ever being in operation at the same time): 1980 to 1982: [l=Studio South, Dublin, Georgia] Studio South was originally opened in Dublin, Georgia USA in 1980, until 1982 when Lovett moved his family and studio to Augusta, Georgia USA. 1982 to September, 2000: [l=Studio South, Augusta, Georgia] the studio was located at 2510 Peach Orchard Road in nearby Augusta, Georgia Lovett has been awarded for his work in producing content for local advertising campaigns, but he is probably best known for his work with jazz trombonist [a=Wycliffe Gordon] and [a=James Brown], who usually credited Lovett on his releases as "Mr. Howard Lovett." During one recording session with [a=James Brown], Lovett had setup a quick rough mix to playback the most recent take. When James Brown heard the playback, he liked what he heard, but Lovett protested, as he thought that a pass through a computer was needed to make the rough mix as good as possible. Mr. Brown put his hand on the engineer's shoulder and reassured him that his initial efforts were just right. "Mr. Lovett, the first time God does it. The second time you do it - I want God's version," he said. Background Lovett attended Florida Bible College in Miami in the late 1960's. He was singing with Joyful Noise, one of the earliest bands to play Christian folk rock. The group attracted the notice of the record label [l=Impact (7)] (the same label as the [a=Imperials]) and Joyful Noise signed a contract with [l=Impact (7)]. Joyful Noise's first album became an immediate underground success after the college banned it because of the drums on it. Howard Lovett met his wife to be, Lindy, at school in Miami. After their wedding, the couple moved to Dublin, Georgia USA., where Mr. Lovett worked at Pine Forest United Methodist Church as a youth pastor and youth minister of music and led Bible studies. In the 1970's, Howard Lovett and his family formed Loves Shares, Inc. and went on the road with a musical-comedy act. Their 4-year-old daughter, Lori, opened the show by reciting a psalm. Mrs. Lovett ran sound and some slides while Mr. Lovett appeared onstage with a sidekick, a gun-slinging cowboy puppet named Wichita. They never did any booking themselves. Word of mouth was enough to get them 225 to 250 appearances a year at churches, high schools and, once, a McDonald's at 2 a.m. But when their children indicated they wanted to be more involved in school activities, the couple decided it was time to limit travelling and look for other income. "I thought it would be fun" to build a recording studio, said Mr. Lovett, who had worked with studios in Atlanta and Florida. Small-town Dublin, Georgia wasn't ideal for such a venture, but groups came to their studio from all over the country. In 1982, Lovett released his album [r=4955881], which features a picture of his family on the back cover. Later in 1982, The Lovetts moved from Dublin to Peach Orchard Road in Augusta at the suggestion of one of their clients, an advertising agency. |

| Search | Add | 8 | Jesse Waldman | Jesse Waldman | One of Jesse Waldman’s most cherished possessions is a cassette of his grandmother singing the Yiddish folk song Papirosen to his mother. A remnant, like the abandoned guitar discovered in his parent’s basement, that drove his rock ‘n roll dreams out of the suburban sprawl of Thornhill, Ontario, and into the bars of downtown Toronto. A journey cross-country led him to mountains, ocean, and into the arms of Vancouver's Commercial Drive music scene. Now his home of over twenty years, the West Coast continues to inspire his lush imagery, sublime melodies, and outstanding technique. Influenced by folk and blues pioneers Townes Van Zandt, Taj Mahal, and Neil Young, Jesse has toured Canada, Western US, and the UK, performing everywhere from local pubs to soft-seat theaters, appearing at major festivals including Vancouver's Folk and International Jazz Fests. Mansion Full of Ghosts is Jesse's highly anticipated solo debut, an exploration of the city's vast duality, a backdrop of beauty mirrored by a fierce underbelly, and a need to keep a light on in the dark. |

| Search | Add | 8 | Joy Peck | Adapted from the Age's obituary: Joy Peck (9 Oct 1928 - 3 Feb 2008) was one of Australia's more notable naive painters. The daughter of a craftsman, she was born in Ballarat but grew up with her sisters Val and Bernice in Warrnambool. As a child she suffered from allergies, which kept her away from school: this left her with a sense of the fragility of life, but also with a great love of it. She sang in public, danced, and later gave memorable parties. But her great love soon became painting. Peck was trained by Sir William Dargie at the National Gallery School, and her canvases soon abounded in strong colours, mists, and children and child-like faces. The critic Phillip Adams once observed: "Joy appears to live in a world without war, aggression or cruelty, where affection would be as luxuriant as foliage, where the very light would be infused with love." If earlier in life her painting had been partly in denial, as she aged it was more in a spirit of rebuttal. Peck was concerned about the injustices of the world — perhaps more so after visiting the ruins of a village in France that the Nazis had vengefully destroyed, killing everybody in it. Sometimes the darker element crept into her painting: there is a swirling, elemental terror evident in her Loch Ard series, in which she painted the famous shipwreck. And for someone so much at home in the fantastic, her portraits could be surprisingly gritty. Peck exhibited from 1960 until 1997 in Canberra, Sydney and Brisbane as well as in a number of Melbourne galleries, including Realities, Manyung, and the South Yarra and Eltham galleries. Significantly, she was asked to submit work for the 1978 Biennale in Limoges. This French city, where she lived for some months, is the world centre for enamelling, a craft much more developed in the francophone world than elsewhere. Later she exhibited at another enamellists' biennale in Quebec. Lively and colourful, Peck is associated with two bohemian moments — Eltham in the 1950s and '60s, and Fitzroy from the 1970s to the '90s. In Eltham, she and her husband, Hal, were part of a circle that included Tim and Betty Burstall, Clifton Pugh and other artists. Barry Humphries had a walk-on part. Down the hill lived John and Inga Clendinnen. Many people found their way to the Pecks' ample, mud-brick house; among them was a young schoolboy, Phillip Adams. Peck was an early encourager, and he remained a lifelong friend. For the last 25 years of her life, Peck set up her easel on a cast-iron balcony overlooking Moor Street, Fitzroy. In her long dresses, picture hat and flashes of purple and green, she was often seen on the arm of her son Marcus, going out for coffee. She died of died from cancer at St Vincent's Hospital at the age of 79. | |

| Search | Add | 8 | Nobilitas Nigra | Both members also involved in bands April Ethereal, Oktor and Surt. Nobilitas Nigra was formed as a side-project to a band, which name will forever remain unknown. The band saw the light of the moon for the first time in april 1999 Anno Bastardi. Nobilitas Nigra, inspired by northern beliefs and culture, as well as by the art of Immortal, Satyricon, Gorgoroth, Mayhem, recorded one of the most brutal debiut materials in polish underground - "Celebrating The Northern Altar" and temporarily splitted up. In october 1999 Anno Bastardi the band entered once again the studios in order to record the material which brought total annihilation to the Earth. "Gloria Sathanas", containing faster and more brutal black metal art, was meant to kill the few who have survived "Celebrating..." demo. One month after "Gloria Sathanas" was released, the band members decided to definitively split up because they thought it was impossible for a human being to play faster than the music contained on the "GS" demo. In may 2000 anno bastardi Vicomte Kveldulv and Kniaz Krig entered the studios in order to record and to release the most brutal black metal art ever heard... If you are reading these words, it means that you are still alive after the two previous NN demos, or you didn't had the chance to listen to Nobilitas Nigra music. The last (but not lesat) NN masterpiece is called "The Only True Armageddon" and is the most professionnally edited one. The sound is powerful, Krig used 3 guitar tracks instead of one, the songs are a bit longer (about 30 seconds) and are faster and more brutal. "The Only True Armageddon" is the first NN release which will have a color layout and will be promoted in Poland and in the world, in Russia for example. | |

In exile in the United Kingdom, Laurent, put himself about to find the musicians of Garage that were most endowed within their neighbourhoods - unfortunately they all were occupied and thus decided to make do with a few old tearaways met in the wild regions of Scotland - Thus Les BOF! were formed and after that, a series of concerts left them in the not very enviable situation of premier garage rockers of French language in Great Britain. ‘BOF!’ literally translates as ..don’t care!' or ..not interested!' but do not see there a group for which one would not have to be interested, but rather a group universally rejected by the established order - a situation, we are sure, you all know too well and with which you can only sympathize. Les BOF! play regularly not only in the dull cellars and dusty cafes of Edinburgh and its neighbourhoods but also abroad - try to see them whether they come in your city - or better, invite them to play in your own living room - it will not cost you the eyes teeth – Vive Les BOF! | Search | Add | 8 | Borislav Vakinov | Borislav Vakinov | Borislav Vakinov (also known as "Witness True Sorcery" on the internet) is an artist, writer, blogger and a gamer based in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria. A long-time reader of horror fiction, mysteries and existential philosophy. He is an independent researcher of the Occult, Western Magic and Esotericism, and he currently runs three musical projects in different genres. Borislav started out as a freelance graphic designer back in 2008/2009, where he mostly created album covers, posters, banners and logos for personal projects, as well as for various websites, clients and bands. Most of his late work draws inspiration heavily from fantasy, mythology, video games and design, objectivism, occultism and magick. He became very interested in the fields of the more fringe-end and weird side of life since his early childhood, while watching The X-Files and reading Stephen King's novels. Years later he became known on the internet with his DeviantArt page and YouTube channel. All of the artistic work he did in recent years led him into branching out into new territories and develop the necessary skills in order to grow as an artist and as a writer. He also has a rather varied taste for Art and he's heavily addicted to black and white movies, BioShock, RPGs, Jazz, Bluegrass and Country Music. These days, Borislav mostly writes books and works as a graphic designer for a living, but sometimes he also works on music and various art-related projects. In his spare time, he often goes for long hikes in the local forests and mountainous regions of his native home. |
