Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Star City Meltdown | Brad Dills - Vocals Lukas Patterson - Guitar, Vocals Chris Stewart - Guitar Cody Cupp - Bass Todd Vesey - Drums Johnson City, TN With their explosive stage show, their uncompromising confidence, and a sound described as "Journey meets Avenged Sevenfold”, this 5 piece rock act from Johnson City, TN has been winning over audiences from Mississippi to Michigan. Produced by former Creed bassist Brett Hestla (Dark New Day, Framing Hanley, Tantric), their debut album 'Stick in the Eye' (2009) was an impressive start to what is shaping up to be an energetic adventure into active rock history. The album and impending tour with Saliva gained the band a rabid underground fan base, and spurred independent sales beyond 2500 copies from live shows alone in the first 4 months of its release. After relentlessly touring the country, Star City Meltdown headed back to Florida in 2011, and back into Brett Hestla's studio to record their sophomore full length album. The album title changed from the original name, “Razorblades & Handgrenades”, to ‘Music=War’ after the band departed from their record label in mid-2012. ‘Music=War’ reflects on the constant battle the band faced just to get label support, a solid release date, and for the album to get to their fans in the form and fashion in which it was meant to be heard. Star City Meltdown decided to “soldier up”, after putting so much effort into a project that has gotten rave reviews from rock radio insiders, and they finally worked out an independent release date for ‘Music=War’, now set for Oct. 30, 2012. The first single,"Here's To Us!", is hitting rock radio nationwide, and constant touring is on the agenda for the remainder of the year and well into 2013. Star City Meltdown takes powerful, pop laced melodies and blends them with shredding guitars and bone thumping double bass drums, to form an active rock grenade of epic proportions. One listen to ‘Music=War’, and you’ll see that the band is poised for an all out assault on the active rock world! | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Shiny Dust | Shiny Dust is shimmering dust, the same that rises from the arid heart of southern Italy and dances through the silent lands of Lucania, where the clay burns under the sun and the wind tells millennia-old stories. The band was born from a profound, cinematic, and ancestral sound vision. In 2022, they released a debut ep conceived as a musical road movie that established the foundations of their style. SHINY DUST's sound is a mix of alternative rock, desert rock, indie, and psychedelia, which they themselves call CALANK ROCK: a music that evokes the lucanian deserts (the “calanchi” - badlands) and merges familiar and disorienting, modern and archaic elements. In 2024, they joined the roster of the SOUNDINSIDE RECORDS label, with which they released the singles "ABOUT LOST YOUTH" and "SO LET ME GO". Their first full-length album, "HANBLECEYA", is set to be released in December 2025. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | The Dae-B-Four | West London mod group active in the mid sixties. Disbanded early 1967. The following info sourced from https://garagehangover.com/daebfour/ Brothers Rex and Brian Brayley had first come to prominence with Tony Liddle & the Lads, a Hounslow band formed in 1962. The band also comprised singer Tony Liddle, bass player Roger Sidey and drummer Yan Kuttlevasher. In mid-1964, Sheffield drummer Kenny Slade replaced Kuttlevasher after playing with Dave Berry & The Cruisers. When Tony Liddle left soon after, the group became The Dae-b-Four. Not long after the name change, the musicians were joined by new lead singer Jimmy Trimmer. Then in early 1965, Bob Carpenter took over from Kenny Slade on drums. Slade joined The Sheffields and later worked with Joe Cocker. Carpenter didn’t stay very long, however, and Bobby Dean from rival Hounslow band, The Stringbeats took over that spring. Dean introduced his friend, singer Iain Pitwell, who took over from Jimmy Trimmer when he departed. However, Dean left in August 1965 to work with another local group, The Valkeries. Malcolm Randall from Rey Anton & The Peppermint Men took his place briefly. The line-up remained steady until November 1965 when John Kerrison came in on drums after playing in Germany with The Horizons. Kerrison had previously been a member of Frankie Reid & The Casuals and The Rocking Eccentrics. Malcolm Randall later reunited with Pitwell in The All Night Workers in October 1967 after working as a freelance drummer and The Missing Links in the interim. The new line up lasted until about August 1966 when Kerrison departed and subsequently joined Mick Liddell & Gli Atomi in Rome, Italy. The band recorded the track “La Mia Inghilterra”, after which Kerrison returned to the UK. By February 1967, Kerrison had linked up with Johnny Kidd’s former band, The Pirates. He then played with Episode Six and The Beachcombers. The Dae-b-Four carried on with another drummer. In March 1967, Rex Brayley struck gold when he joined The Love Affair. Iain Pitwell meanwhile reunited with Malcolm Randall in The All Night Workers in October 1967. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Luis Groove | Luis Díaz Ferrero | With some renowned tracks and remixes on labels like his very own Lowpitch and Overall Music, and with a career that dates back to the 90’s in Tenerife, in the Canary Islands. Luis Groove surely is one of the rising artists in the spanish underground music scene. Whether it's because of his role as Label Manager on his own digital imprint Lowpitch for the last 4 years, where important artists of the new electronic music spanish wave like Hanfry Martinez, Javier Carballo or Julian Perez had their very first releases on the market. Or because of his U Wanna Escape? party hosted in clubs like Sankeys Ibiza with guests of the like of Sonja Moonear, Maayan Nidam, Alex Picone or Binh. He has shared the booth with every top artist on the scene and his sets have been heard from all around Europe at clubs and festivals like Altavoz Festival, Tag Club (Venice), Chalet, MFG Club (Berlin), Cirque Paradis (Paris), The Ditch (London), La Ruche (Laussane), Goa @ Fabrik, Weekend, Charada (Madrid), Velvet, Heaven (Gran Canaria), Miniclub, Friends, Foc in Festival (Valencia), Sonar Off, Life Parade (Barcelona) and now based in Ibiza at the most of the clubs and events around the island like Ushuaia Beach Club, Space, Pacha, Destino, Booom or Privilege. All this, leaving behind important residences last years like Sankeys, Plan Be, El Ayoun in Ibiza or Club 7 Madrid. And in Tenerife being part of the most biggest events like Eolica Festival, Magma Meeting or Sunblast Festival playing almost at every edition and warming up the dancefloor for people like Ricardo Villalobos, Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola or Luciano. His very first residence was with just 18 years old at the Club-Afterhours BB+ Tenerife, where he left a deep mark in the whole scene, after ten years (1999-2009) in front of the saturday night and sunday morning sessions. With an experience and a musical background that only years can give, his sets guarantee quality, class and know-how. The energy and charisma he transmits to the dancefloor in every set is reinforced by his style, always versatile and chameleonic, oscilating between raw deep house, tech funk or dub techno, with a high doses of breaks and filtered disco. Passionate and romantic about the good old analog sound, vinyl records and everything old school related, Luis holds the groove in a perfect balance between modern and classic, effective and sofisticated. Something that he want to show in a new project with his partner in crime Fran Cabello for this upcoming new year 2014 landing a new “only vinyl” record label. With future releases of Luis Groove as a new alias “Ferrero” and colaborations of artists like Alex Picone or Julian Perez. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Plexigo | Lovis Einsmann | Label: Crystallin Music / Unterholz / PsyArmy Located: Wiesbaden, Hessen - Germany Style: Forest / Psytrance / Twilight / Night Psy / Goa Trance / Psygressive / Minimal Dark Progressive Info & Biography: ENGLISH: Plexigo is the name of the psychedelic music project by Lovis Einsmann from Wiesbaden, Germany. Since 2009 Plexigo is leashed by the driving basslines and enlightning melodies of Goa Trance and Psytrance. After discovering the synapse twisting sound frequencies of a DJ-Set mixed by the old Goa stager “Stefan Ludley”, well known in the Rhein-Main area, he was instantly addicted to this kind of music. Stefan helped him to get a connection to the recording company “Crystallin Music” and Plexigo started to produce tracks which are characterised by his very own style. In the beginning he described his music as “Psygressive Trance”, later the focus was set more to “Forest Trance”, “Twilight” and “Night Psy”. Since 2013 Plexigo is the main organizer and visionary mastermind of the Wiesbaden based “UNTERHOLZ” event project, that got quite popular in the Rhein-Main area and all around Germany during the last years. The indoor party series “TREIBHOLZ” invites international artists and sets the focus on the build up of a vibrant and resonating “Forest” scene in his actual hometown Wiesbaden. Right now Plexigo is more into DJing than producing own music. His style is a twisted mix of Twilight, Liquid Night Psy and mystical, driving Forest Trance. In 2017/2018 Plexigo played on the “Transylvaliens Festival” in Romania, two DJ-Sets in Switzerland and on multiple events and locations in the Rhein-Main area, such as the “Tanzhaus West” or “MTW Club” in Frankfurt am Main, the Bellini Club Mainz or the “FlaFla” in Herford. Source: Plexigo @ Facebook |

Jeremy Morris of Pilgrim’s Journey and Celestial City fame adds some guitar. The resulting material is nothing like Third of Never or The Who. What it is like is Porcupine Tree’s Voyage 34, flowing spacey instrumental tracks where progressive rock meets electronica, with similar found vocals from an old record about LSD or something. Call it Voyage 34A, another great trip. The song titles provide clues to their inspirations. Sara Bell: vocals John "Rabbit" Bundrick: keyboards, vocals Jon Dawson: Korg synthesizer, guitar, low drums/bass Michael Kelly: bass Steve Potak: keyboards, mellotron Kurt Reil: drums | |

| Search | Add | 3 | The Advanced Antennas | The Advanced Antennas is an experimental ambient project by Spanish sound artist Alejandro Remeseiro. It explores the residual hum of forgotten technologies, lost broadcasts, and low-frequency atmospheres. With a sound aesthetic rooted in shortwave hiss, analog warmth, and minimal signal loops, the project evokes a sense of distant communication and meditative interference. Inspired by archival sound, number stations, and spectral decay, The Advanced Antennas builds slow-moving pieces that feel like intercepted memories — poetic, abstract, and quietly resonant. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | John A. Serri | John A. Serri | John A. Serri (Born January 27, 1954) is a part time composer and a full time technologist and entrepreneur located in the San Francisco Bay Area. Born and raised in New York City, at an early age John was fascinated by music and started composing pieces at the age of 12 using a two octave magnus electric chord organ, as that was all his family could afford at the time. As a child and teenager Serri received some formal training through the New York City School System playing the trombone in various bands and orchestras. Only later in life did he start a serious study of music and composition. After receiving a PHD in Physics from MIT and establishing a career in High Technology, his first piano lesson was at the ripe age of 35. He advanced quickly on the classical piano and was soon playing in piano recitals for advanced pianists. However his real interest and passion was in composition using synthesizers. John was influenced by a 50 / 50 mix of Rock/ Blues (Beatles, Rolling Stones, AC/DC, David Bowie, Jimi Hendrix, the Doors) and Classical (Mozart , Chopin, Beethoven, Debussy and Rachmaninoff) resulting in his own music being an interesting mix of styles. His early compositions appear in the Albums "Reflective Atmospheres" and "Better Late Than Never" released on JMP Music. Serri's style is deliberately loose and improvizational, keeping away from formal rigid timing and conventional harmonic structures. |
