One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

| Search | Add | 3 | Cardavercus | Took the name Cardavercus in 1998, and led by ex-Severe Warning founder Bryan Renken and main songwriter Ace The Raven in 1998. Formed from the combination of two previous bands. Renken, led by Renken, Ace, Darrin Winne, and Gary "Meat" Vosecky from 1993 to 1994 (which also recruited Mike Marczak in 1994), and 1996-1997, and an unnamed band of Ace, Scott, and Mike that lasted from 1994 to 1996, before they combined into the new Renken lineup in 1996. This lineup would record a 5 song demo in June of 1997 that includes future-Cardavercus songs. This lineup then changed their name to Cardavercus in early 1998, a name that Ace thought of in August of 1997 and was included in a list of possible band names to change Project Raven to, until this project was put on hold to focus on Renken. Under both names, Renken and Cardavercus, they would end up playing some previous Project Raven songs, and newer Ace-penned songs that he would later bring back his solo project after Cardavercus split up. The 1997 demo included "Immune" and "The Secret (Non Omnis Moriar)" and "Life Will Decay", all past Project Raven songs, and after the name change to Cardavercus they would play these as well as "Free" and "Threshold", "The Dark Plan", "Blinded", "The Unseen" and others, many later recorded on the Ace the Raven album "Fortress of Apathy" in 2005. Cardavercus also even played a cover of Nitefall's "Island of Courage... Sea of Despair", which Project Raven and Ace The Raven both also covered, although both versions are unreleased. During the early days of Renken, 1993-1994 they would play many re-structured Severe Warning songs, as well as future-Cardavercus songs such as "Cold Vengeance", "Water Into Wine" and "Dying Day", as well as future Ace The Raven songs such as "Hell Is Above" and "Journey Into Fear". Cardavercus' recorded their debut 4-song demo in early 1999 and independently released it in spring of the same year. Their official press packs of the era list Venom, Mercyful Fate and Sepultura as some of their influences. In late 1999 they went back into Digitrax Recording Studio and began working on their second CD "Cardavercus II: We Return Again, but unfortunately they split up for good during the recording process and it was never completed. In 2005 Ace The Raven re-issued the demo, with a varied front cover and on an enhanced CD with a bonus QuickTime Video clip of the song "Dying Day", recorded in concert in 1999 from one of shows that Severe Warning bassist Darrin Winne played with them for. This is another song that dates back to Renken rehearsals in 1994. After the Renken/Cardavercus lineup of Renken/Ace/Scott/Mike was established Renken started another band as well, called Bat Rastard. This band included both Renken drummers in the band officially, alongside original Severe Warning bassist, Poyzon-founder, future Cardavercus bassist Darrin Winne, and Bryan Renken on guitars and vocals. Bat Rastard recorded a 3 song demo "Bat Rastard Live at Practice", played live onto on 8-Tracks on July 8th 1997, and soon after played their only 2 live shows, with Greg on drums for one and Scott on drums for the other. After their split Darrin would fill in live for several Cardavercus shows in 1998 and 1999, before officially replacing Mike Marczak in 2000 shortly before the band split up. | |

By 1989 they had built a large local following by playing many shows alongside some of the more highly-regarded local acts like Andromeda, Autumn's Ruin, Sacred Heart, Real Steel, and Beyon Devon. By the end of Summer 1989 they were headlining their own shows and co-headlining several of the weekly "Original Heavy Metal Night"s at the Akron Agora with Andromeda, Autumns Ruin and others. They also received extensive coverage within Cleveland's web of Heavy Metal based local and college radio shows, with a live version of "Too Soon Forgotten" receiving significant airplay and the band appearing for interviews and having their show schedules announced. Perhaps the most important shows that that covered them were Bill Peters "Metal on Metal" and (now well-known music photographer) Joe Kleon's "Metalmorphosis", with Metalmorphosis even doing a live broadcast of an entire Lanz End/Andromeda co-headliner at the Akron Agora. Kleon began working closely with the band on several levels and in 1990 they released their debut cassette "Secrets" on Kleon's Metalmorphosis Productions. By 1990 they were playing exclusively headlining shows, usually between 14 to 17 songs each, and they began drawing national attention, including earning the interest of Metal Blade Records. In late 1991 however, they parted ways with brothers Derek Lashua and Brett Lashua (known for his precise drumming as "The Foundation"). They soon formed a Hard Rock band with ex-Montez founder Dan Montez called Fashion Police, which was active until Montez's murder in 1995. After a year-and-a-half hiatus, and recruiting new members Duane Davis (having just left (Shadowplay) and Phil Wise, Lanz End returned to the live circuit, and began playing with national acts (their live return itself was at a co-headliner with Dream Theater). During this time they began the recording of their debut full-length "Tales Untold", which (had it been finished) likely may have been released by Metal Blade). Unfortunately problems within the band caused them to split up before it ever was completed, and in 1993 they disbanded for good. The Lashua brothers currently play in an 80's Hard Rock/Heavy Metal tribute band called 1988 alongside Legion founder Dave Belanger. In the mid 90's Brett played alongside Civil Disobedience founder Tim Dralle and Breaker/Concussion (pre-Civil Disobedience) bassist Ian Shipley in the punk band Lovesick. Unreleased: - "Lanz End" - 5 Song Demo, 1992. Recorded independently in an 8-track recording studio in Cleveland. The only completed songs from the "Tales Untold" album recording sessions, which they broke up during, before any more songs could be finished and before these could be mixed or mastered. 1. The band broke up during the recording process and the album was never completed or released in any form. After graduating from [l203349], Dorle Jarmel worked as a journalist for several years before joining a prolific talent manager and [l=CBS] founder, Arthur Leon Judson (1881–1975). She became N.Y. Philharmonic's press manager in June 1929—months before it embarked on the historical European tour under the new maestro, [a=Arturo Toscanini]. (Essentially, Dorle was responsible for Toscanini's rapid growth to international superstardom). She worked for Judson's [url=https://discogs.com/artist/6621119]Columbia Artists Management[/url] until April 1953 and promoted many notable N.Y. In 1942, Dorle Jarmel married Dario Soria, an Italian entrepreneur who recently immigrated to the United States. An avid opera aficionado, Dario founded [l568902] label in 1948—perhaps, the first American record company to release full-length operas on LP. According to [url=https://discogs.com/artist/1651130]William F. Weaver[/url], one of the most authoritative Italian operatic translators, Dorle personally insisted on including complete librettos both in Italian and English with each Cetra-Soria album. (This layout subsequently became standard for all US opera labels.) In 1953, Dorle and Dario, who just sold Cetra-Soria to [l=Capitol Records], co-founded [l=Angel Records] in New York. [l=EMI] recently lost the North American distribution deal with [l=Columbia Records], so the major label hired Sorias to direct a brand-new USA classical outlet. For branding, Dorle and Dario settled on the once-legendary '[i]Recording Angel[/i]' label (initially used by [url=https://discogs.com/label/253617]Gramophone Company[/url] in the early XX-century). They produced almost 500 albums in less than five years, with critics praising Angel's essential repertoire and unprecedented quality. The label, indeed, set new standards for the industry: flawless imported UK pressings, comprehensive liner notes, eloquent libretto translations, booklets with splendid full-color reproductions (printed in Europe), etc. Dorle organized several high-profile events to promote the label's roaster, such as [a=Maria Callas] opera balls with [l372665] and [a4618521]. In 1958, after EMI merged Angel with [l=Capitol Records] and switched to domestic pressings, Sorias left. They assisted Italian composer [a2500093] in organizing the inaugural [i]Festival Dei Due Mondi[/i] in Spoleto and soon returned to the United States. That same year, Dorle and Dario launched a new [i][l380603][/i] for [l=RCA Victor]—essentially, an "ultra-deluxe" imprint within an already premium [i]Red Seal[/i] catalog. Dorle received two Grammy Awards nominations in 1963 for best classical albums cover for [a=Julian Bream]'s [i][m=628027][/i] and [a=Herbert Von Karajan]'s [i][m=269449][/i] 2xLP in this series. In the seventies, Dorle Soria predominantly focused on her journalistic career, regularly contributing to [a5291706], [a3007900], and [a4192162]. In March 1980, her husband Dario—who retired as the [l201156]'s managing director in '77 but still occasionally consulted MET Opera on historical recordings—succumbed to a heart attack working at the Lincoln Center's [url=https://discogs.com/label/1697715]Rodgers and Hammerstein Archives[/url]. He is best known for his time in the Swedish death metal band Repugnant (1998–2004), where he served as the bass guitarist and co-founder alongside Tobias Forge and Thomas Daun. This was followed by the formation of the pop / rock group Subvision (2002–2008) with the same members, where Lindström remained until 2006, leaving to pursue his career as a studio technician. In 2008, Lindström assisted Tobias Forge with the recording of the very first 6 demos for the band Ghost. He also recorded bass for Ghost’s 2010 debut album “Opus Eponymous” and performed live with the band as the bass guitarist under his stage name “Water Ghoul”, as one of the original Nameless Ghouls, until his departure in 2011. After his departure from Ghost, Lindström continued his musical path as the vocalist of the Swedish heavy metal band Iron Lamb, alongside his longtime bandmate Thomas Daun. With Iron Lamb, he released two EPs and one full-length album. Lindström is also known for his involvement with bands such as Crashdïet (as Mace Kelly) (2000-2002) and Bombstrike (as Loggan) (2004-2005). His most recent known project was under the name “GRGA”, through which he released 2 songs in 2014: “Overblown” and “Perfect Catastrophe”. | |

The band was formed by three people who were making some noisy minimal dark wave songs. Lyrics are very dark and deeply depressed with a lot of black humour. Members were Guillaume and Smoothy, the singer and the keyboardist both previously in Le M, a New Wave duo and Monsieur Jean-Pierre on guitar who also do music under the alias Kalachnikov since the early 90s. Monsieur Jean-Pierre and GM met during a training session for unemployed artists. The band follow a concept called the Blitz : The music is principally improvised when lyrics are written in a very short time. It's a concept already used by GM and Smoothy when they were drawing together and in their previous band. They released only one tape in 1997 distributed by KAP, the Kalachnikov tape label at the time and songs in a compilation "At home with you" also by KAP. They've split two times. At the end the project SD become Section Morne who follows an other dogma. The sound of Section Morne is really repetitive with heavy bass and guitars riff and deep lyrics. The band definitely stop in 2001. A repress of the first album, digitaly remastered was done by Fougère Cassette in november 2013. The second one was never released it was issued by Fougère cassette in late 2014. | |
