Discogs artists that do not appear to exist in MusicBrainz

Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026

Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.

The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.

These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.

Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.

Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.

There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.

One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report

We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.

Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search Add 3 Nicolas Ossorguine Николай Михайлович Осоргин Nicolas Ossorgin (1924-2014), professor at the Theological Institute of Saint-Serge and choirmaster of the parish church of Saint-Serge-de-Radonezh in Paris. It would not be an exaggeration to say that Nicolas Osorgin's whole life was connected with the estate at 93 rue de Crime, better known under the Russian name "Sergius Compound" ("compound" or "Saint-Serge's monastery"), which was transferred to him during his purchases, in 1924, by Metropolitan Evlogii. Nicolas Ossorgin was the second son of [a3709299] (1887–1950), a former officer in the cuirassier regiment of the Empress and marshal of the Kaluga nobility, and Countess Helene Muravieva-Vilenskaya (1893–1968). His parents emigrated after the Russian Revolution and the defeat of the White armies in the Crimea, first to Constantinople, then to Germany, and finally to Paris. On July 18, 1924 (on the day of the feast of the uncovering of the relics of St. Sergius of Radonezh according to the Julian calendar), Michel Ossorgin, on behalf of Metropolitan Evlog, acquired from public auction on behalf of the Metropolitan, property at 93 Crime Street, in Paris.

Search Add 3 Ang Mga Surot Fictional hip hop concept group of characters from the Philippines consisting of Pepito, Pedrito & Bertito. "Ang Mga Surot" is RJ Records answer to Alvin and the Chipmunks. Pepito is the self-proclaimed leader of the gang. Persistent in every way, this little rascal craves for food like everything depended on it. Funny and witty, that's what Pepito is. Pedrito is the acclaimed "ladies man" of the group. Lady "surots" swoon over this fellow, what with his good looks and cool voice. Bertito is the nerd and has knowledge of practically everything under the sun. His large spectacles and weird clothes speak for the kind of "surot" that he is.

Katharina Uhland and Florian Thunemann have lived through all forms of togetherness. They travel with two guitars, two voices, a megaphone and a loop station. Fine sounds come out of it, so that you can still clearly hear the spectators holding their breath. Mostly in German, sometimes in English, they sing about the moments in life that one would rather have forgotten. And all the others too

Search Add 3 Custódio Gonçalves Custódio Gonçalves is a Portuguese singer and entertainer whose career spans both the physical and digital eras of popular music in Portugal. His earliest known release dates back to 1994 with the cassette album Alô, Alô, issued through Estúdios Gravisom, establishing him as an active recording artist during the 1990s. After years performing in popular music circuits, local events and community festivities, Custódio returned with a new series of recordings in 2019, marking a refreshed phase of his career. That year he released several digital singles through the Portuguese label Espacial, distributed via major streaming platforms. Among these works is the party-oriented track “Eu Gosto do Teu Cozido”, featured on the two-track digital single A Menina Dança (℗ 2019 Espacial), which also has an official audio/video presence online through The Orchard distribution. Often performing as “Custódio Gonçalves e as suas bailarinas”, he incorporates dancers into his live shows to enhance the festive and humorous character of his music — a style particularly associated with lively Portuguese popular music (“música popular”), aimed at social events, popular celebrations and diaspora audiences. Today, Custódio Gonçalves continues to be recognized for his contributions to contemporary Portuguese party music, sustaining a presence in local media, streaming platforms, and regional live entertainment.

Search Add 3 Soul Habitat Soul Habitat is an independent deep house project with musical roots firmly attached to early garage house style. At the same time, it pays tribute to the artists, who were creating the genre and the scene in 80's and 90's. Raw drum sounds, sampled organs along with classic swing grooves - each of Soul Habitat tunes brings the essence of retrospective house music with a modern twist. Throughout the organic and dirty sound, the tracks at some point reflects human life lines - full of imperfections , jumps and sudden twists and turns, but still harmonious and resonant. You can find some melodic parts that are repeated throughout the song and those that only appear for a moment and never returns. All of the tracks are largely inspired by the life of big cities - New York, London, Paris along with many others. The musical flavor of the productions is a combination of sound experiences gained from traveling to those places and inspirations that have been collected by listening to various music genres over the years. Each of the pieces is very often associated to distinctive architecture, cultural heritage and regular way of life of the inhabitants of large cities. When it comes to mixing, Soul Habitat is no newcomer to the scene. More than 10 years of experience in the production (mostly bass music under the name “Ravager”) and DJ-ingdifferent genres helped to evolve a unique style of playing sets. Combiningraw bouncing beats and melancholic soulfultunes, the sets that Soul Habitat plays are the essence from the classic "golden era" style of house music. And they are 100% vinyl. Musical inspirationscomes primarily from artists based in U.S., UK and France - especially those, who promote classical deep house and garage sounds, f.e.: Bicep, Washerman, NY Stomp (Gerd), Kool Vibe, DJ Steaw, Detroit Swindle, Jeremy MLIU, Motor City Drum Ensemble, DJ Nav, Ringard, Squarehead, The Groove Victim, New Jack City, Brawther, Enrico Mantini, Sem & Mike Sharon Ultra Knites, Alex Agore, Steve Huerta and many others.

Search Add 3 Trío Evocación Guanajay has always been prodigal as far as artists are concerned, without genre limitations. Some more known, others less remembered, had an unquestionable quality that made them popular beyond the limits of the land that saw them born. Such is the case of the Trío Evocación, which emerged in the middle of the 20th century. His first public presentation was in 1953 in a show presented at the Spanish Colony, because of the carnival festivities and was composed of José A. Crespo Victores (voice premium, maracas, guayo), Juan Luis Arango (second voice and guitar) and Jorge Delgado (third voice and requinto). A year later they appeared on the television program Escuela de Televisión, directed by Gaspar Pumarejo with a samba sung in Portuguese. The program promoted amateur artists of recognized quality, who competed and, in addition, shared the stage with other Cuban and foreign professionals. On this occasion the Trío Evocación was awarded the Special Jury Prize and the invitation to remain in the space for a long period of time that served as a true school of instruction and experience. Application to be professionals In 1956, the Trio made a request to the Cuban Association of Theatrical Artists, being accepted to appear before the Examining Court in charge of approving the artistic capacity of the applicants, being accepted as professionals that same year. Important nightclubs in the capital witnessed the musical work of the Evocation Trio, which alternated with well-known artists, among them the Spanish Sara Montiel and the Chilean Lucho Gatica, when he visited our country for the first time. Apart from their nightly performances, they kept a fixed program for a year, every Sunday, at 4:00 pm on the "La voz del Aire" station. Founding member of the Trío, José A. Crespo still resides in Guanajay. A man passionate to music, a hobby that he recognizes motivated by his cousin, the soprano América Crespo, another great artist from Guanajuato, of whom little is spoken, with an exquisite voice who will walk the name of Cuba in important halls of the world. This simple man confesses with modesty to have composed forty musical pieces, which are inscribed in the Registry of the Association of Authors and many of them have been and are interpreted by recognized groups. Although in 1966 the Trio was dissolved, he decided to follow the path of music, without abandoning his job as Head of Production and Sales in the Tannery of the town that today bears the name of José Ramón Martínez, in which he remained for thirty and three years, and is incorporated as a singer in the professional group of Digno González. When the famous artists' evaluations began in the seventies, they suggested that in order to remain professional, they should leave their other work; He did not understand it that way and he definitely left the song, but he continues composing. Later he won two prizes in the Provincial Contest of the Creator, with the bolero There will not be a penalty of love, defended by the orchestra Cubaney and the guaracha You say that there is no rumba, performed by the Benny Moré orchestra, respectively. In his thirteen years of struggling the Trio Evocación always maintained a repertoire full of cuban and professionalism. How many memories will it bring to those who have been older? they will not listen to them again because unfortunately their recordings were not saved in acetate, but longing will always be present, as Alfredo said in the farewell ... "remember is to live again."

Search Add 3 Los Tiernos Los Tiernos Los Tiernos were a venezuelan prefabricated boy band created by the Portuguese-Venezuelan producer Nino Acosta, who featured the solo voice of Hugo Aguilar, who later in the 90s became a salsa singer and recorded some albums of that genre under the Sonografica label. The only time they made their appearance as a boy band was doing playback during a performance on the defunct RCTV program "Fantático" singing the Spanish version of "Tarzan Boy" in 1985. After that nothing more was heard from them. Los Tiernos are also known as The Softers, because that is how it was printed in the Colombian edition of the single "Tarzan Boy". Acosta was later the one who discovered and produced the first singles for Jesús Enrique Montero "Divine" and Devorah Sasha, the latter including her first 1988 solo LP "Todo Mi Amor Es Para Ti".
