Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | Sonz Of Sunz | Having a unique talent to spit poetry through the microphone to express their experiences, thoughts and take on life, the Filipino-Canadian group SONZ OF SUNZ pride themselves as being part of the growing Hip-Hop culture. The diverse duo, composed of M.I.C. ILL. and Chief Chucka's, aims to bring forth a new surge of music with positive messages while keeping Hip Hop as it was in the golden era…fun. Sonz of Sunz proves to be the epitome of the continuing growth of Hip Hop, demonstrating that the culture has stretched to all corners of the world. They provide a balance of positive urban Canadian upbringing as well as a respectful reflection of their cultural backgrounds. Constantly in the studio developing and producing music, the Mic Reach Records artists have also made their presence known by performing at various local Van City venues including opening for acts such as legendary Canadian rap pioneer Maestro Fresh Wes and Wu-Tang member Raekwon. Formerly a group of three, Sonz of Sunz formed when Filipino rappers, M.I.C. ILL and Chief Chucka, teamed up with Japanese MC, Mr. Rice, after meeting and working together at a Vancouver restaurant during the late 90's. After years of working together as a trio and shortly after releasing their debut album, “The New Breed” in June 2004, Mr. Rice made the hard decision to leave the group and pursue other interest. After careful introspection at the loss of their partner in rhyme, M.I.C. ILL and Chief Chucka made the decision to carry on with the group name and continue spreading their message through music.

Search | Add | 3 | Divine Profitz | Divine Profitz are a Hip Hop crew from Richmond, Virginia, USA, formed in 1994. The group had four original members, but the roster has changed over the years. The only original member and founder left is [a4012380]. One other original MC is now the crews DJ (DJ Yes). The other MCs are now [a4012378], [a4012383], [a4012376] and [a4012371]. Divine Profitz are a hip-hop group based in Richmond, VA. Originally formed in Lynchburg, Virginia in 1996, the group developed a solid local following before relocating to Richmond in 2000. Divine has constantly been "on the grind," making over 10 albums in 10 years (5 tapes, 5 CDs). Over the past 5 years they performed live throughout the mid-Atlantic region, steadily increasing their fanbase. Opening for acts such as 2 Live Crew, Killah Priest (Wu-tang fam), Heltah Skeltah (Boot Camp), and Wordsworth (among others), Divine has gained respect from every artist they opened for. The main producer for Divine P. is "Chadrach," who is also the creator of the group. Divine's roster has changed over the years, with the exception of Chadrach. "The original emcees in the group were Big Rod, Chadrach, Yes, Lil' Jus, and Freddy Manson. The emcees now are Chadrach, BeenOfficial, CP, Cosmos, and Ran. Yes is now the DJ. Emcees have come and gone, but everybody is still in the "group." Divine is like a family. It's more than music. We've got people in Divine that don't even make music: ESPY, Trail, Big Chris, B Wilson, and mad otha cats make up Divine. We make music for the people, not for commercial reasons. If we make music, it's for the love of hip hop. We aren't selling anything but ideas."

Search | Add | 3 | Thula Sizwe : The Group Zulu | The South African group Thula Sizwe is the 10-man Zulu singing and dancing troop. The group comes from Soshanguve Township in Gauteng Province near Pretoria, South Africa. Thula Sizwe’s leader, Jabulani Abel Dlamini, comes from a family of musicians, speaks 9 of his country’s 11 official languages. Thula Sizwe sing in the rhythmic, harmonious Isicathamiya style. The group’s call and response acappella style, from the deepest bass to the highest of tenors. Is accompanied by two African drums and the singers’ stomping feet and clapping hands. The style evolved from tribal performance during the last century when men left their rural homelands to find work in mines and cities and sang to entertain each other. The name means “walk softly.” They sing to praise God, celebrate life, tell stories and scare demons. The name “Thula Sizwe” means “Hush and Listen.” They started singing in the 1980s while still in high school at a time when South Africa was still under apartheid. The group, all of whose members are black, needed special permission to sing together. “Music is our job. It is our daily bread,” said Alfred Letsoalo, one of the group’s two drummers, when asked if members worked at other jobs at home in South Africa, where unemployment is high. The members are: Abel Dlamini, Jackson Mawela, Paul Ramafalo, Nicholas Lenkwati, Alfred Letsoalo, Jonathan Mabuya, Johannes Magana, Moshesh Makwetsa, Shadrack Mgiba, Judas Mabuya.

Search | Add | 3 | Dead Commuter | Formed in the Fall of 2005 , Dead Commuter started out with Paul Maggard On Guitar/Vocals, Rafael Garcia On Drums, and Margaret Follmer on Bass. Culling from a number of influences, The band's first efforts sounded like a variety of different genres, at one moment melodic as Latter-era Neurosis , the next being steeped in Powerviolence. Later down the road, Margaret left, with Khaine temporarily replacing her. By the end of '06 Dead Commuter had decided to end the search for a bassist and remain a duo for good. The band has come a long way since that first show opening for The Esoteric, becoming what each half of this duo has aspired: Loud, Bludgeoning Sludge. In June of 2011, after a long road of hard work and hard touring, Dead Commuter decided to end its 6 year run.
