Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Simply put—Embruje’s music is bewitching. This music is a craft that the members of Embruje (vocalist Danny Rhymer, guitarist Bryan Mullen, drummer/percussionist Brandon Woods, and bassist Bryan Black) have spent the past two years perfecting. Combining the elements of metal, rock, jazz, hip-hop, and hardcore, Embruje have created a sound that stands alone in the new music world.

Ketcham, saw to it that she was a regular in playing in Sunday School and at practically all church services. She has played in many churches, schools, radio stations and on television throughout the United States including Hawaii and Alaska. Lois and her husband, Editor/Evangelist Don Moffat, served the Lord in Amazon Valley of Brazil. Her piano ministry there was exchanged for a small folding organ. Due to a severe illness, she was forced to return to the US and for a period of over five years, she was too weak to play piano at all. Gradually her strength returned and se released her first album, [r=25637038].

Search | Add | 2 | Rex Battle | Rex Battle. Pianist, bandleader, conductor, composer, b London 4 Jan 1892 (1895?), d Toronto 27 Jan 1967. A child prodigy, he had his first piano lessons with Vlahol Budmani, who presented him at Buckingham Palace. Battle later studied organ with E.H. Thorne. After several tours in Australia he settled in New York, where he assisted Sigmund Romberg in the production of operettas. He resumed his career as a pianist with a series of broadcasts in 1921 on WWJ, Detroit, then played 1922-9 at the Mount Royal Hotel, Montreal. He was conductor 1929-38 of the Royal York Hotel Concert Orchestra, Toronto, which was heard in the USA on the NBC network for several years, and he also conducted an orchestra, chorus, and soloists for broadcast 1930-1 on the CPR network. He formed in 1934 one of Canada's first (jazz) big bands; with Trump Davidson and Cliff McKay among its members, it performed in the summer of 1935 at Bob-Lo Island near Detroit. After three years in New York, where he studied piano with Moriz Rosenthal and Hedwig Kanner-Rosenthal, performed and conducted, Battle appeared in 1941 as pianist with the Promenade Symphony Concerts in Toronto. Soon after he returned to live in Toronto, where he served 1943-56 as music director and conductor of CBC radio's 'Singing Stars of Tomorrow'. In 1962 he began performing with young operatic singers of his choice at Toronto's Gaslight Restaurant. Battle composed a short orchestral piece, Simon Says 'Thumbs Up ' (Thompson), as well as morceaux for piano, violin, and voice. His few 78s for Apex as a pianist (in Chopin and Liszt) and accompanist (to Ernest-Gill Plamondon, Roy O'Connor and Leon Kofman) are listed in Roll Back The Years. Apex 78s attributed to 'Rex Battle And His Dance Orchestra' or 'Rex Battle and His Mount Royal Hotel Orchestra' have been disputed by Battle and are possibly examples of his name simply being used as a pseudonym for recordings by other artists.

Wanting to collaborate with local musicians rather than working in isolation, she reached out to Varun Desai for recommendations. Once the promoter, synth nerd and solo artist had sent her some of his own pieces, he was the first to come on board. Soon thereafter, Stroetges and Desai were joined by the double bass player and session musician Debjit Mahalanobis and the songwriter Suyasha Sengupta.

Search | Add | 2 | Matthew M. Bartlett | Matthew M. Bartlett was born in Hartford, Connecticut in 1970. At an early age he was given as a gift the novelization of The Omen; not long after that, he inherited a worn copy of Christine by Stephen King. He fell deeply in love with horror: with the Universal monsters, with Hammer films, with the rented videos from the horror section of that almost-gone artifact known as the Video Rental Store. He began writing poetry while in the English program at Central Connecticut State University. An abiding interest in horror fiction led him to start a Livejournal page whose posts were his first forays into fiction: bite-sized tales accompanied by doctored daguerreotypes and his own photographs taken in Leeds and Northampton, Massachusetts. These posts centered around a long-dead coven using radio waves to broadcast disturbing and dangerous transmissions from the dark woods of Western Massachusetts. His inspirations are varied and the foremost are certainly not atypical for the genre: H.P. Lovecraft, Thomas Ligotti, Robert Aickman, T.E.D. Klein. Other authors he admires include Donald E. Westlake, Richard Yates, J.D. Salinger, and Hunter S. Thompson. He also draws inspiration from the radio monologues and shows of Joe Frank; the poetry of Philip Larkin, of Mark Strand, of Stephen Crane; the movies of Wes Anderson, of Ben Wheatley, of the Coen Brothers. He continues to write dark and strange fiction at his home in Western Massachusetts, where he lives with his wife Katie and an unknown number of cats.
