Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

His work focuses on the synthesis of form as the product of parametric behaviors. He is known for hard-edged geometrical forms and vivid colors, with outputs ranging from pure software works to public projections and physical objects produced with digital fabrication technology. Watz has exhibited at venues like the Victoria & Albert Museum (London), Todaysart (The Hague), ITAU Cultural (Sao Paulo), Museumsquartier (Vienna), and Galleri ROM (Oslo). In a curating capacity, he founded Generator.x in 2005 as a platform for a series of events related to generative art and computational design. In 2010 he co-curated the exhibition “abstrakt Abstrakt: The Systemized World” with Eno Henze at the Frankfurter Kunstverein. In Fall 2013 Watz was an adjunct and resident researcher at NYU ITP, focusing on parametric form and digital fabrication. He is a visiting lecturer in Interaction Design at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design, regularly lecturing and teaching workshops at schools and art institutions around the world. He is currently based in New York and Oslo. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Raffaello Busoni | Raffaello "Lello" Busoni (1 February 1900, Berlin, Germany — 17 March 1962, New York, USA) was an Italian graphic artist, painter, books illustrator, and essayist. He was the second son of renowned composer and pianist [a=Ferruccio Busoni] (1866—1924), younger brother of Benvenuto "Benni" Busoni (1892—1976), and husband of [a=Hannah Busoni] (1907—1995). Despite his upbringing in Germany and his mother's Swedish descent, Raffaello always identified as Italian. From 1915 to 1920, when Busonis lived in Switzerland during the First World War, Lello was briefly trained in painting and etching/woodblock printing techniques; otherwise, the artist was primarily self-taught. Busoni's first wife, Hide Busoni, died from tuberculosis in 1930. Around five years later, Raffaello married [a=Hannah Busoni] née Apfel, Hide's former piano student and long-time family friend. In January 1935, they emigrated to Portugal; however, the Spanish Civil War that broke out shortly after forced Lello to return from Madeira to Berlin. Just three years later, the Busoni family had to flee Germany in the face of Nazi occupation since Hannah was of Jewish descent. They spent a few months in Sweden until, in October 1939, Lello Busoni permanently relocated to the United States. Name variations: often appears as Rafaello with one "F;" on [a=Eduard Steuermann]'s 1960 [m=1854861] LP by [l=Contemporary Records], misprinted as Nello. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Nathu Buwa | Nathu Buwa Amravatikar | Nathu Buwa Amravatikar Birth - circa 1895, Death – 1944 - A biographical note written by Dr Chaitanya Kunte, Pune, India (keshavchaitanya@gmail.com) Nathhu Buwa Amaravatikar belongs to a family of musicians who practiced Kathak dance and Tabla. The family hailed from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. His elder brother Tularam was a Tabla player. Nathu Buwa came to Amravati when he was 8-years old. He was called as ‘Nathu Buwa Amravatikar’ or ‘Nathu Buwa Tawde’. He started learning music with Namdev Buwa Amravatikar who in turn was a disciple of Ustad Maula Baksh of Baroda state. Nathu Buwa had a high pitched, sonorous and flexible voice. Upon Namdev Buwa’s demise in 1926, Nathu Buwa started ‘Namdev Buwa Prasadik Gayan Samaj’, a music school in the memory of his Guru, in Amaravati. Around 1932, he came to Mumbai and joined ‘Yashvant Sangeet Natak Mandali’ of Shankar Rao Sarnaik. He acted in a few plays. But soon left the theater company. During 1932 to 1935, he was a regular broadcaster on Bombay Radio. He started a music school in Charni road area of Mumbai called ‘Aryan Music College’. But he left Mumbai for concert tours, with giving charge of this music school to his nephew, Dattoba Tawde. Dattoba ran this music school for many years, but with the name ‘Adarsh Sangeet Vidyalaya’. Nathu Buwa used to visit Ujjain, Indore, Aheri state, Parva state for yearly concerts on some special occasions. Around 1935-36, Nathu Buwa left Mumbai for concerts and returned to Amaravati. Soon after that, he shifted to Nagpur. He started ‘National Music College’, a music school situated at Aluwala building in Sitabardi area of Nagpur. He published a book ‘Sangeet Sadhana’ in 1944. His major disciples in the Vidarbha were Dattoba Tawde (nephew), Prahlad Kolhapure, Namdev Varekar, Mahadev Patil, Gajanan Kothekar, Madhusudan Tamhankar. Nathu Buwa suffered from Pyorrhea and was admitted to Mayo Hospital in Nagpur, where he passed away in 1944. He has cut 78 rpm shellac records on Broadcast & Columbia labels around 1937-1940 References: 1. Mangarulkar, N. R. (1976). Vaidarbhiya Sangeetkar – Part 2. Vijaya Mangarulkar, Nagpur. 2. | Search | Add | 2 | Lauren Heintz | Lauren Nicole Heintz | Summerfield, Florida Award-winning singer/songwriter, and Gatorbone Recording Artist, Lauren Heintz, has quite a story to tell. She swam in volcanic calderas, water-skied gator-infested rivers, repaired U-2 spy planes near the Yellow Sea while in the USAF, and worked in the dot-com tech wars of Silicon Valley. Yet, what excites her most is stepping onto stages and playing her music. Lauren's musical roots were planted at the jam sessions of her Chicago-area childhood home. She grew up listening to her mother and father playing & singing their favorite country & western tunes. Her musical influences range from such greats as Hank Williams, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Jim Croce, Gordon Lightfoot, John Denver, and the Beatles. And she cites friend, mentor, and finger-style maestro, Jack Williams, for inspiring her to take her own finger-picking to higher levels and to also take her show on the road. Lauren has two albums to her credit. Her sophomore music project, Where I Belong, debuted on global folk radio as the #12 album. And her first album, Feels Like a Miracle, promptly sold out after being released and helping to establish her as a standout in the Florida folk scene. If her life was a novel, the songs on her two albums are the plot points of her story, the twists and turns of an edge walker. These albums capture many aspects of her search for survival and a sense of place and purpose. Lauren graduated from Eustis High School, Florida and immediately joined the USAF, then later received her Bachelors of Science in Computer Science (University of Maryland), then spent the next fifteen years as a Software Engineer before outing herself as a musician. Today, she lives in Central Florida. |
