Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Jerusafunk | In 2009, band leaders Jessie Demaree and Chris Del Favero first met in Flagstaff AZ and thus began their 11 year music project. Then in 2012, they traveled for 2 years through Central and South America, performing, collecting records and instruments, and learning music from every country they visited. Returning the States in 2014, they revived the full band with new sounds and scores that no other group in Arizona had heard. With a horde of 9 to 11 incredible Arizona musicians, Jerusafunk dives deep into global psychedelia, conjuring an orgiastic sound influenced by Funk, Klezmer, Brazil, Ethiopia, Southeast Asia, Jazz, Afrobeat, Turkey, Mexico, and Colombia. Since then, they have self-funded 5 tours, 2 albums, 5 videos, and have performed with: George Clinton, March Fourth Marching Band, Harmar Superstar, Calexico, Brownout, and Combo Chimbita.

Search | Add | 2 | Peter Macaluso | PETER MACALUSO (Balance Recordings / Berlin) Biography: Peter Macaluso is a DJ and Producer born in Sicily and based in Berlin. At the age of 13 he discovered the passion for DJing and clubbing, but the real turning point came in the summer of 2009 during a travel to Ibiza, where he remained for three years, and which changed his life forever. He has joined several Legends of the music industry, just to name a few, Frankie Knuckles, Louie Vega and Marcel Dettmann, with whom he established a relationship of deep friendship and subsequently also collaboration, mentorship and a source of great human and musical inspiration. From 2009 to 2011 he played in the “Terrace” of Pacha in Ibiza. Since 2012 he participated and performed as an official artist at the ADE Amsterdam Dance Event, the most important conference in the world music business, where he presented his music. In 2015 he played at the famous StreetParade in Zurich (Switzerland). In 2017 he began traveling globally, leaving European borders for the first time, for his first “America & Europa World Tour”, which had its debut in New York, performing at parties and in the most important clubs of the Big Apple such as Brooklyn's Output (Voted by Mixmag as the best club in the world in 2017), Cielo in Manhattan (Historic Club and one of the most influential of the New York underground scene), and then also Panther Room, Halcyon, LP'N'Harmony, etc. 2023 will see him engaged in his first tour of South America, where he will perform in the cities of Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo in Brazil. As a producer he was ghost producer for many artists of the house and techno scene, also taking care of the mixing and mastering process. Furthermore he has released productions on labels such as: Balance Recordings, Purple Music, Vialocal, etc. working for artists such as Chez Damier (Legend of house music and techno, as well as co-founder together with Derrick May and Kevin Saunderson of the Music Institute of Detroit, home of the new Techno scene), Jamie Lewis (producer of the famous rock star Prince), Toto Chiavetta (Diynamic, Innervisions, Yoruba records), and the American singers Michelle Weeks and Darryl D'Bonneau. He has currently released his EP "Cantico" in vinyl only mode on the historic Chicago label Balance Recordings, a sublabel of Legendary Prescription Records, the label founded by Ron Trent and Chez Damier in the early '90s, which defined the status of the Deep House sound and considered as the major influence in the underground scene. Always attentive to modern and contemporary sounds, he tries to reconcile them with his old school background, ranging from intricate atmospheres and black grooves to the most hypnotic deep, through purely ethnic rhythms, until he reaches the depths of electronica and techno.
