Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Alycia Putnam | Since being inspired at the age of nine when she saw Natalie MacMaster in concert, Alycia Putnam has been working on her fiddle chops and a deep repertoire of foot-stompin’ tunes. The result of this dedication has been three solo albums and thousands of live performances spanning the globe from Pictou to Amsterdam, and back to Pictou. Alycia’s most recent album, the much anticipated Wired for Sound, includes 13 tracks of traditional to more eclectic fiddle music and the immense talent of 10 of the province’s most well-known musicians. Since her performing career took off in the late 90’s, Alycia has amassed a network of artists she regularly adds to her live performances depending on what’s needed for the gig. Her core family band (her dad, Robert, on guitar and her mom, Kelly, on bagpipes) can be expanded to feature percussion, bass, vocals, banjo, mandolin, and a suite of other sounds depending on who’s footing the bill. Regardless of the band’s composition, this live show has something for everyone and is a must-see for anybody who loves Cape-Breton-style fiddle music played by a mainlander.

Emilio's musical career started while he was attending Wynn Seal Jr. High in Corpus Christi. Emilio and a group of his friends put together a band and started playing around town at private parties, record hops, and what kid’s use to call jives. fter graduating from Roy Miller High School in 1967, Emilio joined the U.S. Army and was shipped to Ft. Polk, LA for basic training. While stationed at Ft. Polk, Emilio and four other soldiers from New Jersey and New York formed a vocal group that began singing at the NCO club on base. In June 1970, Emilio returned home after being Honorably discharged from the Army and got his musical career started again. Instead of singing though, he started playing keyboards for several local bands. He played with the Johnny Canales Band, Los Lemans, and finally with T.J. & Company. Emilio got started back singing by accident. One night the singer for the band did not show up and Emilio was asked if he could fill in. Emilio agreed. From then on he became one of the band’s singers. In 1977 Zeke Saucedo (guitar), and Sam Deleon (keyboards), convinced Emilio to start his own band. In 1977, with the help of his brother Leonard Guerrero to run sound, Zeke and Sam, Charro Band was born.

Search | Add | 2 | Denys Irving | Denys Irving | British musician and filmmaker. Irving was born on 4 January 1944 in Colwyn Bay, North Wales, and died on 5 August 1976 aged 32, after he was fatally injured in the maiden flight of a prototype hang glider at Mill Hill, Sussex. As [a1389674] he released 2 albums and 4 singles between 1971 and 1973, and 3 silent 16 mm films in 1969 plus 1 full length film in 1971, viz. the "motorcycle shock film" Exit coproduced with professor Naomi Zack - of which [r2001376] is the soundtrack album. Denys Irving studied at Oxford University (where he became friends with [a123484]), at the London School of Economics and at Columbia University, New York, where he became fascinated by artificial intelligence and developed a marked interest in computers. Using Columbia University's mainframe computer, Irving developed his own programs to produce short computer generated silent films. Also in New York he pioneered projection systems for 'psychedelic' effects, and upon his return to the UK a working partnership with [a2694022] culminated in light shows to accompany performances at the [l720953] in [l338951]. "Regardless of the primitive recordings and the occasional lyrical misogyny, Denis Irving's determined and some may say egotistical music career defined a cornerstone in British music. Proto punk, doom metal, satanic rock, psychedelia, electronica, all fixed genres that were carved from Irving's unique creative flow and single minded energy." Two years after Lucifer's fourth and final single, Irving's fascination for computers and simulated sound structures moved to synthesizers. As a result he worked closely with old friend [a252383] on [r5167640], the soundtrack to a 1977 film directed by Laura Mulvey & Peter Wollen. Having taken an interest in hang gliding in 1976, he would then tragically break his back that very same year having been thrust into a rockface by a strong wind. He left a wife, the actress Merdelle Jordine, and a son, Arthur. In 2012 the English composer [a1725758] released the track "Lucifer's Song (A Passacaglia in Memory of Denys Irving)". Some of Irving's work has been shown at the Tate Gallery in London, and his films are held in the LUX collection of experimental film and video art.. |

Search | Add | 2 | Christa Myers | Christa was born and raised in Southern California; and, began composing music, winning awards and recognition for her artistry at the age of seven. She has developed a unique style as a singer, sculptor, writer, musician, and visionary artist. In her music Christa has blended visionary talents with classical training; and, now lends her keyboard expertise to what she feels is the unlimited potential of New Age electronic synthesized music. The re-emergence of the Feminine power in the world finds expression through the angelic sounds evidenced in these selections. The hauntingly beautiful melodic themes are intended as a meditative offering, providing the listener a soulful inner journey.
