Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Serge Clamens | Born in Moissac in 1952, he discovered from an early age an attraction for music. The polyphonic possibilities of the accordion will fix his choice on this instrument. He began his musical studies in 1962, music theory and instrument, with a private teacher, then very quickly began more serious studies at the Toulouse Conservatory, for music, and with René Feuillet, for the practice of the instrument. He progressed rapidly and went to Paris where he worked with José Rossi and Christian Di Maccio, teacher of the advanced class at the Schola cantorum. He notices, then, that in France, very few composers write for this instrument. The existing repertoire, being more than obsolete, it goes towards the musicians of the East, who work permanently for the evolution of the accordion. He participates in several high-level international competitions and obtains excellent results. 1969 – Evian International Competition – 1 prize (Honour) 1970 to 1974 – Four times finalist of the O.R.T.F. 1972 – Annemasse European Grand Prix – 3 prizes (concertists) 1975 – Irun International Competition – 3 prizes (concertists) 1977 – Selected to represent France at the Klingenthal world competition Now a teacher, he devotes himself to teaching the accordion with avant-garde methods, and a technique he borrowed from the Russian School, the results proving that it is currently the best. He created the TRIO D’ART CONTEMPORAIN DE TOULOUSE, to affirm the accordion in its use with noble instruments, and to interpret a musical literature that has no common measure with the classic accordion repertoire.

Search | Add | 2 | Gina Haley | Linda Georgina Haley | Linda Georgina (Gina) Haley (born April 23, 1975, in Mexico) is an American singer-songwriter. Haley is the youngest child of rock and roll pioneer Bill Haley from his marriage to his last wife, Martha; she grew up in Harlingen, and she was only five years old when her father died in 1981. At 18 years old, she left home and set out to find her musical identity, which landed her in Houston. She is classically trained on piano and an accomplished self-taught guitarist and songwriter. During the mid-1990s, she left Houston and moved to Los Angeles.[3] She managed to catch the eye of producer Michael Sembello, and worked closely with him writing, recording, and arranging tracks which appeared in television and movies. Gina also worked closely with songwriter Richard Rudolph, and published songs through Music Sales Group. Her first self-titled album was released in Japan in 1999 Heat Wave. During these years in Los Angeles, she sang with the world music group called The Bridge, whose members included Edu Falcao, Daniel Jobim, Paulinho Da Costa, Vincent Colaiuta, and Michael Sembello. Gina later formed her own group, the Gina Haley Band, and continues to work in the musical field in her home state of Texas. On July 6, 2005, she performed with her father's old band, The Comets at the Viper Room in West Hollywood as part of 50th-anniversary celebrations of her father's famous song "Rock Around the Clock" reaching the number-one position on American sales charts, as well as what would have been Bill Haley's 80th birthday. In June 2008, the Gina Haley Band performed at the Bill Haley induction to the South Texas Music Walk of Fame in Corpus Christi, Texas. Other inductees included Chelo Silva, Pat Grogan, Joe Gallardo, Max Stalling, and The Reverend Horton Heat. Meeting Jim Heath (Reverend Horton Heat) was an important event in Gina's life. Jim had not intended to perform at the induction ceremony, as his band had not traveled with him, but decided to dedicate a Bill Haley song to Gina, a song that inspired him to become a musician. That song was "Rock the Joint". After years of contemplating making a rockabilly album, Gina had finally decided that it was time to carry on her father's legacy. A year later she sang "Rock the Joint" with Reverend Horton Heat at a concert in Dallas, Texas. She continues to perform in Texas with the Gina Haley Band, in her original alternative country sound. |

Search | Add | 2 | Sweet Mother Of God | Sweet Mother of God was a Norwegian gothic doom metal band formed in 1998 by Dag Østby (vocals) and Frode Petterson (guitar). Ingunn Molstad (female vocals), Lars Ninive (bass) and Pål Mjørlund (drums) were soon recruited to complete the line-up. Lars and Ingunn left the band in 2000, and were replaced by Morten Granheim and Tone Rustestuen respectively. Øysten Johansen joined as second guitarist in early 2001 before the recording of a demo which was released on 31 August 2001. The demo was reissued by Italian label [l=Nocturnal Music] in 2002, and Ida Tingstein (violin, backing vocals) joined the band at this time. Since this time, the band has been inactive.

Search | Add | 2 | Killgrip | Killgrip was conceived in mid-2000 when guitarist/songwriter Steve began working with drummer Lauren on starting a heavy yet versatile band. Having a similar musical background, the duo soon began laying down the foundation by writing and arranging a handful of songs that would later make up the bands first studio EP. Shortly thereafter, they began the search for other members to fill the vacant slots. They quickly recruited Ryan to play bass, who added his own brand of heavy low-end thump to the new batch of original material. With Ryan locked in, the search for a vocalist began. At first it was difficult for the trio to discover a singer who matched the style they were looking for. One night in December of 2000, Steve and Lauren happened to meet a vocalist named Chico backstage at a show. After his tryout at the bands rehearsal studio a few days later, Chico was found to be a perfect match with what they had been searching for in a vocalist. After a few short months of the groups conception, the initial Killgrip lineup was officially complete. The quartet soon jumped right into the Boston area club scene in early 2001, playing everywhere they could, striving to have their music reach as many people possible. Killgrip quickly established themselves as a staple band within the local scene, gaining a generous fanbase within a short time. In addition to their busy live schedule, Killgrip went into the Safari Room Studios in Boston with producer/engineer Bill Carr to record their first EP during the summer of 2001. In order to replicate the bands raw live sound, the majority of the songs were tracked live and "off the floor". It contains the first 7 songs written by the band (In a Blink, Power, To Your End, Outcast, My Rage, Ortni, Freedom We Forgot). In late '01, Killgrip hit some downtime after parting ways with their original bassist. They spent the time searching for somebody to fill Ryan's shoes, and found a perfect match with Sean, who had been playing with another Boston-area band at the time. Being extremely creative, Sean rewrote many of the original basslines and added new diversified dimension to the music. Everything soon fell back into place, and Killgrip once again went back to writing new material, which has proven to be more complex and versatile than the original batch of songs found on their self-titled EP. They wasted no time in getting back out into the New England clubs and showcasing the newer songs. Shortly, Killgrip was sharing stages with well known acts such as Kittie, Tree, Unloco, and Clockwise....just to name a few. Late 2002 saw the departure of Killgrip's drummer Lauren, who had been a founding member of the band. However, the split was mutual, and on good terms. It was that time period where the band was reborn with Eman (Chico's brother) taking over behind the drums. His drumming has taken Killgrip's music to an entirely new level, with the original songs having a totally new heavier sound and feel to them. Newer songs not contained on the self-titled EP such as "Kicked Out The Closing Door", "Running Wild", and "Strength of Souls" also have that new brand of diversified musical influence found throughout them. The band is currently tearing through the New England music scene leaving no stone unturned. With all members of Killgrip having a wide variety of influences lying in the genres of metal, r&b;, country, rap, hip-hop, rock, pop, and classical music, there's no telling what will happen next...
