Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024
Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Gone Hepsville | These six boys from the city of Brno (Czech republic) have been rockin' together for more than a decade in a rock'n'roll revival band The Fireballs (CZ), learning the ins and outs of the genre from the masters like Bill Haley, Chuck Berry, The Treniers, Jimmy Cavello, Freddie Bell or The Big Six. After 10 years, they decided it was time to move into somewhat more demanding territory and formed a pure & authentic jiving combo called GONE HEPSVILLE. They write their own songs, they arrange them in a ways that make them totally irresistible, but, most importantly, these cats are here to get you jumpin' on the dance floor like crazy for the next 10 years at least. So you better get going, because everyone else has already gone. GONE HEPSVILLE. The Hepsvillians are: Petr Pospíšil (bass), Pavel Štursa (guitar), Petr Janovský (tenor sax), Pavel Zlámal (baritone sax), Matěj Fouma (piano), Viktor Martinkovič (drums).

Search | Add | 2 | Andrew Pattie | Andrew Pattie has been an active performer within the Scottish and international musical culture scene since 2007. A multi-faceted artist, he has worked with the likes of C Duncan (Bella Union), BMX Bandits (Creation), Isobel Campbell (Cooking Vinyl), and The Amazing Snakeheads (Domino), both live and in-studio, as well as producing and performing with his own group Honey and the Herbs (Employment Records). This is the first time Pattie will release music under his own name. His unique brand of experimental pop is apparent in his new studio recordings, but it is clear he is expanding creative realms. Echoes of contemporaries such as Ariel Pink, Mild High Club and Tops can be heard, with some defining nods to YMO, Talking Heads and New Wave of the 80’s.

As the name suggests, Emissary is a solo project on behalf of Whoredom Rife, but with the same names and ideas involved."
