Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 13 | Cor Sanders | Patrick Franz | Already in his early childhood Patrick came in contact with electronic music. Fascinated by all areas of house & trance he lived only for this music. But from time to time, his music became harder and harder … Driven by the hard, driving beats he began in 2000 to put his hands on mixing. First it started with the mixing on a laptop, where he quickly made a name for itself in its environment. The level of awareness has led to numerous gigs at private parties, birthdays and some sporting events. This however was not enough to him, because the music always continued to develop, so his interests changed. Then he discovered Hardstyle & Jumpstyle for himself, his passion… The project “DJ Drukktechnik” was born. Hard beats, Rhythmic, harmonic melodies and some vocals, that was exactly what he needed. Soon, some friends and he founded one of the many “Jumpstyle crews”, which consisted of many of his friends and acquaintances. Here it was laying near that he was a disc jockey for that team. After a few weeks, there were the first gigs in several clubs in Leipzig. After buying real equipment (turntables, korgpad and so on, he improved his skills. Numerous gigs followed thereupon. He played for example with Bangbros, DJ Sacrifice, Jump Ahead, Patrick Jumpen, Nick D-Lite and so on … In 2010, he applied himself again to the trance and started producing. The project “Cor Sanders” was established and deals with the directions Trance, HandsUp, Electro and House. The movement in the scene also influenced him to expand his producing repertoire to Tech- and Deep-House. But to not forget his roots in the harder scene, he also has an Electro House project, called “Rough Stuff”. |

In late 1999, Steve founded 7 Wonders of the World Music, the first digital download-only ska and reggae label, which featured releases from two dozen bands from around the globe, and sold digital music online two years before the iTunes store launched. After taking a few years off from the music industry, Steve started The Duff Guide to Ska blog in 2008 and began reviewing ska records, concerts, books, and films—and hasn't stopped writing about ska music since. Steve is the author of "The Duff Guide to 2 Tone," which features over 70 reviews of reissues of 2 Tone albums from The Specials & The Special AKA, The Selecter, The Beat, Madness, The Bodysnatchers, and Bad Manners, as well as write-ups of their more recent records, gigs, books, and movies. With a foreword by Gaz Mayall (The Trojans, Gaz's Rockin' Records, Gaz's Rockin' Blues, and co-writer of The Bodysnatchers' "Ruder Than You"), The Duff Guide to 2 Tone draws from over 12 years of Shafer’s reviews from his Duff Guide to Ska blog.

A subtle musician, a multi-talented personality, she will forever remain in history as the founder of a unique professional Russian song group. Elena Kalugina devoted 40 of her 60 years to the development of the musical culture of the region. Here her rare musical talent and organizational skills were revealed. Elena Kalugina graduated with honors from the Omsk Music College in vocal class and three courses at the Correspondence Institute of Musician Teachers at the Moscow Conservatory. She trained as a choir conductor, but the war prevented her from completing her studies. In Omsk, she worked as a singer on the radio, as an accompanist in a choreographic group, led vocal clubs, and was the organizer of several choral groups. She devoted all her teaching talent to the professional training of vocalists and choirmasters, working at the Omsk Music School. Elena Kalugina trained a galaxy of gifted musicians. Almost all honored artists of Russia - singers of the Omsk Folk Choir - are students of Elena Vladimirovna. But the main work of Elena Kalugina’s life, with which she glorified herself and the Omsk region, was the creation of the State Omsk Russian Folk Choir. Having never been involved in folklore before 1950, Elena Vladimirovna managed to make a lot of recordings of Siberian folk songs within a few months and began processing them for the choir. During her trips around her native land, she collected many original songs and dance tunes. Kalugina’s invaluable merit was that in forming the repertoire of the Omsk choir, she did not follow the path of imitation of already known groups, but took as a basis truly Siberian folk art, preserving the original style of song and dance. The name of Kalugina is associated with the emergence of the very concept of “Siberian folk song”. Some researchers denied the presence of an original choral singing culture in Siberia. Through enormous research and collecting activities, Elena Vladimirovna was able to refute such speculation. She was also the first to use a truly innovative technique - a choral performance of a Russian song without a conductor, and this manner was picked up not only in the country, but throughout the world. Over the 10 years of Elena Kalugina’s work in the Omsk choir, the collective has taken a special place among other Russian folk choirs, worthily representing the creativity of our region around the world. Just three years after the creation of the team, its first victory happened - at the World Festival in Bucharest. The Omsk choir won 1st prize and a gold medal, beating 32 competitors from around the world. This victory became the most striking milestone in Elena Kalugina’s creative activity; it opened the international touring life of the choir. |

The music ministry was known as "[a477770]", "Hillsongs", "Hillsongs Australia" or "Hillsong Music Australia". However, the early live album recordings from the church often included the church name on the front cover with "Hillsongs Australia" printed on the back cover, the CD face or the insert. Around the year 2000, Hills Christian Life Centre merged with Sydney Christian Life Centre and the church was rebranded as "Hillsong Church". The name Hillsong is now attached to all of the organization's brands, including its various church locations (ie. Search | Add | 13 | Nona Yotova | Нона Йотова | Nona Yotova is an actress, singer, poetess, composer of music and a TV presenter. She is among the first to start composing and performing ethno music, which is now already very modern. Her first album with arrangements by Ivan Lechev was produced in 1993 and ever since it has outlined her original, distinctive and unique style, the roots of which lie in the history and mythology of the Bulgarian land. Unlike those, who are satisfied only with using folklore motives and are considered to be ethno performers only because they are singing folk songs with a new arrangement, Nona has penetrated a lot deeper in the so called ethno mystic and it is from there that she derives the motives and the inspiration to write her music. This is also due to the fact that she has inherited her talent from several generations of musicians. It is not mere chance that the archaeological TV show she is the presenter of on Channel 1 of the Bulgarian National Television is called "Terra Incognita". When the musicologist Rose Mary Statelova plays Nona's songs to her students, one of them says that most probably this is the way the wood-nymphs sing. The a cappella version of the song "I'll be begging you", which has been in the Bulgarian National Radio's fund since 1993 is even considered by some people to be a folk song, which is in itself the greatest recognition for a composer and performer. Nona's song "Macedonian Flamenco" has been included in the music textbooks since 2006. Some of the best Bulgarian musicians like Ivan Lechev, Dani Milev, Mihail Shishkov, Kalin Velyov, Mihail Yosifov, Valchan Valchanov and from time to time Teodosy Spasov as a special guest perform in "Nona Band". And finally what is Nona's style? It could be called ethno jazz, New Age Wave and probably the easiest way to name it is World Music. |

Search | Add | 13 | Hair Peace Salon | Hair Peace Salon is considered one of the most celebrated indie-rock & power-pop bands in Belarus. The band was formed in 1998. They are a former stage of Bristeil, having over 15 years on the scene path with mostly English language songs. In 2012 the band released the first full LP 'Gentleman', which received positive feedback from music fans and experts. The band members have no hurry to making music. The guys are still young and still having fun: self progress + satisfaction. :) Since 2007 the band has won several awards of rock-n-roll contests, their songs are constantly on-air. The band has taken part in many TV and live radio-shows and hooked a lot of festivals in Belarus and abroad. In mass media their music is described like entwined desperate energy with romantic notes of melancholy and sadness filled deep lyrics with soul uneasiness and plaintive hope for happiness. The music is intense, but melodic and lyrics are a kind of anthem to nobility, firmness and generosity with a bit of self irony and eccentricity. Hair Peace Salon music is imbued with absolutely perceptible emotions, a hook will be hardly to make a jump off from. :)

After graduating from Hawaiian Mission Academy, he attended Walla Walla College where, although he enrolled as a pre-medical student, he prepared for the ministry. Following graduation in 1948, Liu served as a minister in the Upper Columbia Conference in the Pacific Northwest beginning in 1949 and was ordained to the ministry in 1954. Three years later he accepted a position in the New York Conference, where he worked for eight years before returning in 1965 to the Pacific Northwest. He was pastor of the Lents SDA church in Portland, Oregon, when died at age 63, following a lengthy illness. In his lifetime, he was a featured soloist at youth congresses, General Conference Sessions, and camp meetings. He gave countless concerts in the Northwest, Hawaiian Islands, and Canada, many being presented as benefit programs to help church projects, and included a song in every sermon he preached. He was also involved in radio ministry and recorded several Chapel Records. Liu and his wife, Bernice Lee, had two sons, Charles Martin and Edward. |

He was most known for his romantic poetry, noted for its heightened passion, pathos, separation and lover's agony. He became the youngest recipient of the Sahitya Akademi Award in 1967, given by the Sahitya Akademi (India's National Academy of Letters), for his epic verse play based on the ancient legend of Puran Bhagat, Loona (1965), now considered a masterpiece in modern Punjabi literature,[4] and which also created a new genre, of modern Punjabi kissa. Search | Add | 13 | Electric Looking Glass | Electric Looking Glass is a baroque pop group from Los Angeles, California. Expect flash melodies in full harmony, with jangly guitars, whirling Hammond, delicate Mellotron and a fab thumping back beat. Sounds of yesterday and visions of tomorrow; a new reflection in pop. Resplendent in their best Carnaby gear this could easily be mistaken for some vintage footage that turned up in a dusty tin at a California auction house. These guys could have been there when The Byrds took The Beatles on a trip in the valley. The realest deal. ELECTRIC LOOKING GLASS could only be more perfect if, in reality, it’s still 1967 and we really shouldn’t have had the brown acid. What a trip! The last 63 years has just been our subconscious bending our minds, Sgt Pepper is still teaching the band to play, peace and love reign supreme and the future is bright. To Dream A Dream indeed! Fresh off of their recent debut single on Hypnotic Bridge Records, here comes the second single from ELECTRIC LOOKING GLASS via the tastemakers at 13 O’Clock Records. The Los Angeles quartet serve up a double A-sider with a couple of dandy gems loaded with 60’s-style baroque psychedelic flashes and smothered with sugar coated pop-psych goodness! ‘Daffodil Tea Shoppe’ and ‘Dream A Dream’ are both jangly pop songs delivered with all the trimmings, from Mellotron and piano punctuations on to well-crafted vocal harmonies. A confectionery two-sider sure to appease your sweet tooth cravings! Our very own Jon ‘Mojo’ Mills described ELECTRIC LOOKING GLASS as “a wholesome quartet that absolutely nails the baroque and psychedelic pop sounds prevalent on both East and West Coasts during the heady days of 1967-68. Recalls the Left Banke, Curt Boettcher, the Peanut Butter Conspiracy et-al and truly captures the sound” //Shindig Mag
