Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

A brilliant management by José Eduardo Cavero Andrade and who won "Los Ídolos del Pueblo" forever. Another station was emerging at that time. Radio "La Crónica". On large projects, directed by Juán Silva Villacorta and who set his expectations on David Odría. A special offer led to its acceptance and left the "Creole Ambassadors" without a midday entertainer. Then the opportunity would come for José Lázaro Tello, who, with everything he learned on Radio Miraflores and later on Radio Callao, is hired by Radio Victoria, positions himself and becomes the owner of such a privileged place. It would begin there, the long career of this great Creole speaker from Chiclayo. |

| Search | Add | 4 | Hidden Highways | Hidden Highways is a musical collaboration between [a=Carol Anne McGowan] and [a=Tim V Smyth]. Delivering quiet Americana-inflected folk, combining waltzing acoustic guitars, blended harmonies and brooding ambiance. The two first started working together in late 2010 and their eponymous four-track EP was released in April 2012 on [l=Out On A Limb Records]. They have toured at home and abroad sharing stages with The Staves, Lucy Rose, Terry Reid and John Smith amongst others. In the midst of all of that, Hidden Highways were awarded the RTÉ/RAAP breakthrough bursary for best emerging musical performers in their genre. 'Old Hearts Reborn' the duo's full length studio album was released in September 2013 on Out On A Limb Records and has garnered much critical praise. "...for those who appreciate simple, honest songwriting, this is gorgeous stuff" - The Irish Times ☆☆☆☆ "Potential album of the year...this is pure songwriting at its absolute best" - Hot Press ☆☆☆☆ "Road trip records - the ones that inspire you to pick somewhere and just get going in your very own movie. Neil Young's After the Gold Rush, Tom Waits' Closing Time and Bruce Springsteen's Nebraska are three of the greatest, but there's always room for a new soundtrack, and that's where the aptly-monikered Hidden Highways come in." - Harry Guerin, RTÉ ☆☆☆☆ "Hidden Highways have delivered one of the most strikingly lovely Irish debut albums in recent times, a haunting collection of songs of quiet power and tear-stained beauty." - Entertainment.ie ☆☆☆½ "...an incredible collection of songs that are thoroughly crafted and utterly timeless...they deliver songs that don't just aspire to Americana, but transcend it." - The Irish Mirror | |

He earned music degrees from the University of Wisconsin Madison, and Harvard University; and taught music composition and contemporary music for 23 years at the University at Buffalo. Amidst a career of composing mainly for traditional orchestral instruments, Jeff recently began re-exploring analog and digital synthesis, favoring the compositional limitations of small hardware devices like the Elektron Digitakt over the modern practices of laptop-based production. Using various hacks and adaptations, he creates uncanny musical vignettes that feature fat, bass-heavy hip hop and hauntingly otherworldly melodies, while evoking music boxes, retro VHS training videos, and mid-century advertising jingles. In 2021, Jeff will release Signaling, his first album of entirely electronic, beat-oriented music. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | The Boulting Brothers | Boulting brothers was a prolific English filmmakers duo of two identical twins, John Edward Boulting (1913—1985) and Roy Alfred Clarence Boulting (1913—2001), best known for a series of socially conscious comedies in the 1950s and 1960s. The brothers typically worked as a producer-director team, with one of the credits assigned to either John or Roy and the overall production colloquially known as a "Boulting Brothers film." When John Boulting died of cancer in 1985, Roy stopped making films. Roy Boulting began working in film sales around 1933, subsequently moving to production. He served as an assistant director on the 1936 short comedy Apron Fools. John and Roy established their Charter Film Productions company and began directing and filming shorts. A few of their works, such as The Landlady (1937) and Consider Your Verdict (1938), soon gained critical and commercial acclaim. Roy directed his first feature-length Hollywood movie after the Second World War, the Sailor of the King, for [l=20th Century Fox], starring [a=Jeffrey Hunter, Jr.] in 1953. Their second WWII naval war epic, this time for [l=Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer], Seagulls over Sorrento, featuring [a=Gene Kelly] in 1954, had less prominence. In the following decade, Boultings primarily focused on satire to highlight various British societal issues, from academia and corrupted unions to government bureaucracy or the inefficient legal system. The series began with John's look on military life, Private's Progress in 1956, starring [a=Richard Attenborough], [a=Terry-Thomas], and Ian Carmichael; it became the second biggest box office hit in the UK that year. The Lucky Jim followed in 1957, adapted from an eponymous novel by [a=Kingsley Amis] and set in academia. In 1966, the brothers directed and produced [m=257716], a northern comedy with [a=Paul McCartney]'s soundtrack starring John Mills and his teenage daughter [a=Hayley Mills]. Roy Boulting and Hayley had a 33-year age difference but began a relationship during the shoot; they married in 1971. (In 1987, [a=The Smiths] used The Family Way's still-frame as a cover for [m=21109] single.) | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Planetary Overdrive | Band Members Dan Sturdevant - Guitars / Vocals Natalie Sturdevant - Bass / Vocals Russ Wallace - Keys / Vocals Jarrett Nash - Drums Hometown Louisville, Kentucky Biography Planetary Overdrive formed in March 2016 when husband and wife duo Dan and Natalie Sturdevant wanted to start a Southern Rock band to play the songs Dan had been writing for a few years. They quickly found a drummer (Cam Thomas) and started playing the Louisville club scene. The self titled EP was recorded in fall and winter of ‘16/’17 and released March 2017. It was met with positive reviews by local critics, with John King of 37 Flood remarking, ”The album plays as if Randy Bachman (from Bachman turner Overdrive) recorded an album with Billy Gibbons (of ZZ Top) backed by The Donnas. Which is to say, it is a straight up party record. The first track, Party Weekend, is a testament to Planetary Overdrive's skill at rocking the party.” Shortly after the release of the EP long time friend and collaborator of the band Russ Wallace joined in with his talents on keys and vocals, rounding out the three part harmonies. In June 2018 Planetary Overdrive released their self produced album Boneyard. This album widened PO’s sound, featuring Eli Hall on pedal steel guitar, Travis Stanton on saxophone, and a number of friends lending their voices with background vocals. Boneyard received more favourable reviews, with Scott Recker of LEO saying, “The songs on Boneyard are singular, explosive moments, aimed at slicing into a time and place that is easily relatable, and capable of unlocking memories.” Jake Hellman of the Never Nervous blog declared, “Southern rock is not dead. With their latest release Boneyard, Planetary Overdrive are doing their part to carry on the top down, beer chugging, guitar fueled rock of some of the great classic rock acts like Molly Hatchet and Lynyrd Skynyrd. No need to reinvent the wheel here, just pick up your guitar and shred.” Another line up shift occurred shortly after the release of Boneyard with the departure of Cam Thomas on drums and the arrival of the vastly accomplished and adept Jarrett Nash, picking up the sticks. Planetary Overdrive is currently in their studio working on their next album. The band plans on rocking the party for some time to come! | |
