Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Harrison Karsch | Singer, drummer, and guitarist, Harrison Karsch is a multi-instrumentalist, who is constantly in search of his next musical challenge. A dynamic performer who is engaging at the front of the stage, as well as from behind, Harrison is an exciting young talent who is both inspiring and fun to watch. Drumming since the age of 6, Harrison decided to advance his level of performing in 2016, when he joined the School of Rock, Fort Washington, as part of their intensive Performance Program. Since that time, he has been a part of seven seasonal shows, including: Music and Film, Rolling Stones, Southern Rock, Woodstock, CBGB, Arena Rock, and Funk and Reggae. While at SOR, he's developed into a talented vocalist and front-man, while continuing to hone his drumming skills at Capella School of Music with instructor Paul Deck. Most recently he's begun learning guitar and is actively songwriting. Harrison has performed and commanded the stage in a number of popular venues, including the Hard Rock Cafe and World Cafe Live both in Philadelphia. Most notably, in 2017, Harrison was invited, twice, to New York City to audition for School of Rock on Broadway, and was invited for a final audition for the show's National Tour 2017-2018. When he's not performing with his fellow musicians at the School of Rock, you can catch Harrison rocking out with his band, Feedback featuring Philadelphia music icon, Tommy Conwell.

Search | Add | 2 | Eddie Carmel | Eddie Carmel (March 16, 1936 – August 14, 1972) was an entertainer with gigantism and subsequent acromegaly resulting from a pituitary adenoma. Popularly known as "The Jewish Giant", Carmel was billed at the height of 8 ft 9 in (268 cm) tall, though he may have more realistically been around 7 ft 6 ¾ in tall. At the time of his death at age 36, he had shrunk 6 ¾ inches, due to kyphoscoliosis (curvature of the spine, a mixture of scoliosis, and kyphosis, meaning hunchback). Carmel was born in Tel Aviv, to Jewish migrants Itzack and Miriam Carmel. He moved to the Bronx with his parents when he was a child. He was made famous by photographer Diane Arbus' picture Jewish Giant, taken at Home with His Parents in the Bronx, NY in 1970. Due to his condition, his primary work was in carnival sideshows including appearances at Hubert's Museum in Times Square and a few films such as 50,000 B.C. (Before Clothing) (1963), and The Brain That Wouldn't Die (1962).

Search | Add | 2 | Shirley Jester | Raised in a musical family - her father played in Arnold's Jazz Band downtown - she was playing the piano by the time she was 5. She had the ability to play anything by ear - almost instantly. While in high school at Our Lady of Angels in North College Hill, she began working part time as a staff pianist for WKRC-TV, going full time after her 1951 graduation. There, she played music for locally produced television shows. She also met George Palmer, who was then working at the station as a news anchor. The two were married in September 1962. At 25 she started playing in nightclubs, starting at the Coal Hole*, a popular club located in the now-defunct Sinton Hotel."Shirley did her homework. She made the Coal Hole a legitimate room," said Leo Underhill, former jazz disc jockey for WNOP. Over the next 40 years, Ms. Jester performed solo and with jazz groups all over Cincinnati and nationally. She had gigs at The Top of the Crown, in the former Clarion Hotel; the Iron Horse Inn in Glendale and at Kenwood Country Club.

Search | Add | 2 | Městský Dechový Orchestr Cheb | The Youth wind orchestra of the music school of Jindrich Jindrich in Cheb was established in the year 1958 by the conductor Václav Kucera. First the orchestra had had only 12 members but then it spread to the group of 60 - 80 members. The main merit on it had the first conductor of the orchestra Václav Kucera. The level was growing and early there was first success. The orchestra took part in many actions in the town but there were also paid many tributes to it in competitions in the whole country. In the year 1965 the orchestra took its first trip to a foreign country. Many exhibitions abroad followed then and the height was taking part in the festival in Norway in the year 1967. And just these qualities of the orchestra were the biggest reason for the origin of the festival FIJO Cheb. Václav Kucera and Jindrich Pravecek where among those who gave rise to this festival. When I have to name all countries which the orchestra have visited till this time I can not forget Austria, Hungary, Germany, Denmark, Belgium, Holland, Sweden, France, Switzerland USSR, Canada, Malaysia, China, etc. The orchestra achieved very big success in festival in Dijon, where it acquired the second place in the cathegory of adults, then in the festival in Haag, where it won the first prize. It recorded for Autria's televison and wireless and for the state's wireless in Norway. In competitons of the wind orchestras in Czechoslovakia it acquired the first place many times. In the year 1977 Mr. Kucera finished his activities in the orchestra and Mr. Novotný succeeded him. There were still very good results under his leading. Mr. Novotný finished his activity in the orchestra in the year 1989 and then after a 2-year-long pause when there was Mr. Eichler as the conductor, he came back and led the orchestra till 1994. In September 1994 the baton was undertaken by Mr. Smitek (graduate of the army conservatory and one of members of the orchestra in the past). Since the orchestra won a lot of competitions, the greatist was in 1999 three first place (concert, march and show contest), 2000 first place in show in Canada, in 2001 first place in Germany, in 2003 first place in Italy, silver sector in 2011 in Malaysia and gold sector in 2017 in USA. We are the only members of Czech of the World Asociation of Marching and Show Bands

Search | Add | 2 | Flair Ensemble | Because of the typical instrumental setting and the presence of the female singer, it is clear the Ensemble FLAIR has its roots in the Moravian folk tradition. Here in Moravia all members of Flair were born, here they live and from here they present their musical expression to the world. The musical language of FLAIR expresses a symbiosis between folk music and classical music. The fact there will be no changes in the musicians of FLAIR, will lead into a well-sounding and well-singing FLAIR. With a little of Leoš Janáček, Béla Bartók, the heritage of Carpathian folk musicians, the Gypsy music from Bucharest and Budapest and last but not least, compositions of Flair´s artistic leader, Jan Rokyta. After a succesfull start in the concert serie of Czech Radio Ostrava in November 2014, FLAIR won the prestigious 1st prize in the international EBU competition „GRAND PRIX OF SVETOZÁR STRAČINA 2015” for the arrangement and interpretation of the Moravian folk song “Ej, lásko, lásko”. Short after, FLAIR has recorded its first album „From the Springs to the Sea...” (Indies Happy Trails). Further in 2016, FLAIR took a prominent part on the profile CD of its solo-singer Klára Blažková, „In the Lap of Mountains Homeland” (Indies Happy Trails). This CD has got many positive reviews. In November 2016, Ensemble FLAIR took part on the International Music Festival MUSICA PURA in the cross-over interpretation of Moravian Folk Poetry in Songs together with the world-known Czech opera soprano Martina Janková and famous Czech pianist Ivo Kahánek (ČT art: Janková zpívá Janáčka). In 2017 and 2018 FLAIR staged a program of Lent and Easter songs, which was published in 2019 on the album "Music of Truth". In the same year, FLAIR played a key role in the profile album of the BLAženky "Prvý raz!" with folk melodies from Wallachia and Slovak folklore regions. In 2020, FLAIR participates in a Czech Television documentary about music, which was inspired by lyrics of Czech poets. It also participates in a radio recording of Moravian folk ballads and prepares for a "cross-over" program "Valašské sonety" together with the Janáček Chamber Orchestra with artistic director and violinist Jakub Černohorský. In September 2020, FLAIR´s second profile album will be released under the title "Drop to Drop". All albums in which FLAIR has participated since its inception were released by Indies Happy Trails. Ensemble FLAIR collaborates with leading Czech actors Alfred Strejček and Tomáš Jirman.

Search | Add | 2 | 보이스코 | Voixco was a South Korean R&B group from the early 2000s. The group consisted of B-Ya, Hang-A, Ha Jin, and Cho-A. Because they were signed to Jive Records Korea, Voixco did not get a whole lot of recognition due to Jive Records being an American based label. However, they did get more recognition in Japan. The only type of big recognition they were able to receive in Korea was for promoting the domestic release of the 20th Century Fox animated movie Ice Age (2001). The song "Ice Baby" was used for the promotion and a music video was produced as well. Due to poor management and Jive Records Korea having to file for bankruptcy, Voixco disbanded in 2002.
