Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Chorus1986 | Chorus1986's music inspired by the 1980's and 1990's is often referred to as nostalgia music in the Synthwave genre, bringing people back to a time in their lives when they experienced unique emotions and growth. Whether it's a fond memory or bittersweet feeling of loss, his genre of music often triggers strong emotions related to growing up in this era. The sound of Chorus1986 draws from the many styles of the decade that defined it – rock, pop, new wave, synth, soul and hip-hop. No matter how old listeners are today or where life has taken them since those early days, Chorus1986's music helps remind listeners why those moments were so important and special in their lives, for better or worse, no matter how much time has passed by.

Search | Add | 2 | Autoph | Zach Oblinger | Autoph began producing music as a hobby in 2018 and collaborated with his long-time friend Homie Churn on his first track, Winner. Following this success, they worked with Baltimore-native DDK on In My Dreams and collaborated with long-time friend Magne$on on the lead single for their album PHOENIX, released in May 2022. Due to the soul sample-based production and the unique take on soulful hip-hop, the album caught the attention of Doc Blackwell, CEO of Lions Den 360 Music Group. He was taken in as a producer and works out of BoomHouse Studios in Bremerton, WA. In addition to his music career, Autoph has been an active volunteer at DocLuvTheKids, an organization that helped him flourish as a producer. He has participated in community events such as DocLuvTheKids day, where he handed out free school supplies to low-income families, and a shoe drive to help the impoverished and/or homeless. Autoph's talent has not gone unnoticed. His first releases with the label were Vultures by Nick Norton and Conversation by Veezy. Autoph is currently working on his upcoming project: AUTOMATIC, set to release soon. |

Search | Add | 2 | split_noise | Formed November 23rd, 2000, in Saarbrücken, Germany. Excerpt from the band's old website: ...::split_noise::. born: 00/11/23 The 4 guys of "split_noise" have been attracting regional attention for some time now due to their unconventionality, their hard, intoxicating sound and a brutal stage show. Through constant appearances in surrounding clubs and youth centers, they have already achieved a certain level of recognition. At the Apollo Newcomer Festival (German music promotion prize for newcomers) they took second place in the preliminary round and at the Wacken Open Air Warm Up Party they could even count themselves among the winners. The music officially falls into the nu metal/crossover category, but the band itself defines it as its own style ("splitcore"). With split_noise, powerful low-pitched guitars and bass guitar are driven with melodic and harmonic riffs met by ingeniously conjured drum rhythms. The whole thing is rounded off by very varied vocals, which include everything from the usual speaking and singing parts to melodious chants, diabolical screams and psychotic "nonsense voice-lines". The lyrics cover topics such as split personality, child abuse, drug addiction, xenophobia, suicide - political, personal, as well as social and socio-critical aspects. The aim is to reflect one's own views and emotions in the music. 4 interesting characters have come together, strikingly different and yet similar in some ways; hear for yourself - splitcore is born...

Search | Add | 2 | Sari Osawa | Sari Osawa | Sari is one of the very few Japanese woman music producers in our scene. From the early stage she was always interested in music and studied flute and piano giving her the necessary back ground to create music. After graduation from high school she joined a music and movie production company were she became interested in the electronic scene. She started creating her own music alone at home as a hobby using a synthesizer. She made her first public appearance in 2007 at the Fresh Vision party in Tokyo. Don’t expect the feminist touch from Sari, since her music can be definitely qualified as aggressive or better known as FULL ON. |

Search | Add | 2 | Romain Azzaro | Raised between France and Italy, Romain Azzaro found his wave playing guitar and drums in punk, cold wave, and psychedelic bands through his teenage years, all the while informed by his prior piano background at the Conservatory of Paris and his abiding interest in the collision of fashion and film alike. Under his Rouge Mécanique moniker, he released since 2010 multiple EPs and 2 albums maneuvering effortlessly between the acid-house modulations of his Roland JP 8080 and the lysergic searching of his vocals and guitar. Captivated by world music, he co-launches in 2015 the event series & label African Acid Is The Future, melting African rhythms and electronic textures. In 2019, Gilles Peterson offers the label a residency on his famous Worldwide FM radio show. The obvious cinematic power of his music has already been recognized, leading him to create the soundtrack of multiple short movies, collaborate with Karl Lagerfeld on a Chanel fashion show or develop an audiovisual art installation exhibited at the Cité des Arts of Paris and the Voltaje Art Fair in Colombia.

Graupan – a legendary Icelandic psychedelic-doom-impro-punk quartet from Iceland, known for having a decisive influence on the music of Sigur Rós. |
