Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | Eurago Arktur | The four musicians from Eurago Arktur are not at all unknown faces in the regional metal scene. Peter Danilov (vocals), Kai Schmidt (guitar), Rico Bartels (bass) and René Kaminsky (drums) can look back on many years of band and stage experience. In 2018, the four met for the first time to bring their diverse musical roots together under a new banner. The result should be a fresh style of its own within the divergent genre of metal. Progressive metal coupled with classical elements meets jazzy chords, orchestral sounds and djent. Intricate guitar riffs blur with catchy melodies and atmospheric soundscapes. Eurago Arktur create an impressive overall picture from a musical mosaic. With their debut album "The Maze Of Faith" the four musicians are not going astray, no, they are lyrically and musically guiding the listener along the obscure path of a man tormented by fate. In seven heavy songs, the listener accompanies the protagonist on his search for redemption ...

Search | Add | 3 | Margento | Margento is a crucible of arts, a reunion of poetry, painting and music whish stem out of each other, nurture, inspire each other. Although it was poet Chris Tanasescu who started this project, Margento is not just an illustration of or an accompaniment to his works (and days). Even if sometimes the poems, the paintings and the songs are conceived in solitude and sometimes they are brought forth on stage – they always communicate, like some capillary vessels. Without aiming at regaining any ideal or original unity of all arts, Margento is a lively intertwining, a windy crossroads of various ways of expression and mostly and foremost an open complete way of dwelling together in the same experience, a recovery and awakening of the self through the other. Unswerving dedication – and the en-stasy of meditation and illumination comes along with the ec-stasy of communion and of rhythmical conjunction. No theory or ideology are involved, except that of free vivid expression and of the alchemy of artistic identities. Margento is a single body with several souls who see the world through each other.

Search | Add | 3 | Werner Fischer's Travelogue | TRAVELOGUE is a jazz group from Switzerland, founded by guitarist Werner Tian Fischer. They primarily interpret Fischer’s original jazz compositions (lyrics by Jan Krohn). The rest of their live repertoire comprises of selected jazz originals by kindred spirits. 'EASTBOUND', their first album, was recorded in Boston in 2003 and released on Elch Musical Industries. For their second recording, lyricist Jan Krohn provided some of the songs with his trademark lyrics. The ensuing recording session materialized in spring 2010 at Hardstudios in Winterthur, featuring outstanding Swedish vocalist Sophie Dunér and bassist Nesin Howhannesijan from Berlin. 'CHINESE SOUL' was released the following year on Altrisuoni Records (AS 292). In autumn 2011, the band (with pianist/vocalist Mya Audrey and bassist Zhang Ling) toured extensively in China and Europe. In 2013, the band performed with British bassist Pete Townsend. The Travelogue composition 'Bon Voyage' provided for the soundtrack of the acclaimed documentary film portrait NO FLASH. Homage to Ricardo Rangel (1924–2009) – a tribute to the work and life of the famous Mozambican photographer – which appeared in 2012 and was shown in Switzerland, Portugal, Mozambique, England, Argentina and Brazil, as well as broadcast on RTP África and on Mozambican TV. The line-up changed again in 2014 to include pianist Roberto Domeniconi and New York-based bassist Fredi Meli (& occasionally Hans Ermel, also on bass). Their third studio album, 'THE LIGHT IS ON', was recorded together with vocalist Coco Rouzier (USA) in autumn 2015 at Gabriel Recording in Stalden and released on the PBR Jazz label (PBR J300) the following spring. 'FORECLOSURE', a live recording from October 2016, was released in early 2018.

Search | Add | 3 | Blvd Park | BLVD Park Info We are what we call a "Spaghetti Western Desert Folk" band, with roots in traditional bluegrass and country. But, there are a lot of us, with a whole lot of different ideas, resulting in an eclectic sound that is at times gypsy, gospel, swing, R&B, folk, blues and rock. We are in love with the artform of creating and performing music, and we want to take our show on the road, baby! Fortunately, a little ol' fair in Alaska has asked us to come on up to share our tunes with folks there. We're ECSTATIC to actually be getting to see this very big dream become reality! Five of us will be piling into one van, making stops all the way up the west coast, arriving in Seattle, where we will leave the van, hop on a plane to Juneau, and another plane (or possibly ferry), to take us to the remote destination of Haines, AK to play the Southeast Alaska State Fair! After that adventure, we'll be relocating to Seattle, WA indefinitely to work on recording our next album with Carla Torgerson of The Walkabouts and Subpop record label. Check out our show dates, drop us a line, and hopefully we'll see you in the future! Cheers! A few years ago, he decided to set traditional instruments aside, to follow his way amound computers, telling stories while trying to tame the hardware. His music is a diary, first lines written further from electronic designs: it all starts with a minor fact, an image, a landscape. The following is all about being the witness of one’s own trek. |

Search | Add | 3 | Os Nazaritos | Os Nazaritos, formerly called Os Nazarenos is a Brazilian Christian rock band. The band was formed by Gustavo Legal in 1998 in Itaguaí, in the state of Rio de Janeiro. Mixing rhythms such as ska, rock, country music and reggae, Nazaritos create a kind of comical rock in the evangelical scene. With the support of Ronaldo Barros, father of singer Aline Barros, the band signed with AB Records and released their first CD in 1999, making it a huge success in Gospel. With the band's departure from AB Records to the Top Gospel label, the members changed the group's name to Os Nazaritos. In 2001, he performed at Rock in Rio III at Tenda Brasil together with Los Hermanos, Ls Jack among others. It was considered, by Roberto Medina himself (Creator of Rock in Rio), that the Band's presentation would be on Palco Mundo before the Iron Maiden Band's presentation. But the band thought it would be better to perform on Teen day at Tenda Brasil as they would have more time to perform. After long years of hiatus, the group returned to activities in 2016, for a commemorative tour, and released, in 2017, the EP O Emergente. In February 2022, Banda leader Gustavo Legal announced the Band's return to the stage. Despite the similarities with Mamonas Assassinas, the band states that their main influences were the singer Falcão and the band Blitz, and that the association with Mamonas was marketing for the record label AB Records.

Search | Add | 3 | Pretty Russ | Russell Todd Malloyd | Born September 5 1973. Died October 18, 2008. Russell was born in St. Louis to Beverly Malloyd and Kenneth Bell. He was the third of four children and leaves behind two brothers, Maurice Malloyd and Henry Guilbeaux; a sister, Karen Malloyd; and a host of nieces and nephews. He graduated from University City High School in 1992 and soon after started his career in the music business. In May of 1995, he moved to Atlanta, Ga where through a friend and colleague he met R&b superstar Keith Sweat. The following year he was featured on Keith Sweat’s number 1 single “Twisted,” which sold an amazing 5 million copies in the United States alone. This makes Pretty Russ the first hip-hop artist from St. Louis to be featured on a multi-platinum album. Growing up in U.City, which is a Mecca for talent, Russ worked side by side with most of St. Louis’ elite talent, from Nelly & The St. Lunatics to Tab Money, who was signed to Eazy E’s Ruthless Records, world-famous DJ Charlie Chan & platinum producer Orlando “Pretty Boy” Watson. Pretty Russ helped to lay the foundation that most of the young hip-hop artists stand on today. His independent record label Thoro Muzick was one of the most successful labels in St. Louis. |

Johnny has been a fixture on the San Francisco Bay Area music scene for over 30 years. Having also played for Sly and the Family Stone and Van Morrison, it wasn’t until the late 70′s that he teamed up with Huey Lewis to play sax and guitar for the Monday Night Live Band.
