Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | Victor Marinov | Victor Marinov | Victor Marinov is a Bulgarian musician, DJ and live performer. His professional journey in the electronic music started in early 90’s with the formation “Dve Kupeta” (experimental dark ambient), moving through the “Band of Mad Women” (electroacoustic band), “Vataff Project” (downtempo, ambient, IDM) and “Victor’s Mob.” (tech house, minimal, techno).Victor is also a cofounder of the label “Port One”. With his collection of analog synthesizers, effect processors and various software Victor has established his own recording studio. Within the years he has developed a specific musical taste, perfectly represented by his vinyl DJ sets. The magical music he creates falls undoubtedly into the categories of the intelligent techno, tech-house and ambient. Unless in the music and visions for his performances, Victor was also involved in composing of theatre and film music. One of his most prominent projects was in 2002 when he was invited in Berlin with “Vataff” by the advertisement company “Triggerhapptproductions”. He has been working there under a project with the director Zoran Bichach and the camera man Robbi Mueller (who used to work closely with Wim Wenders on many of his movies). Victor has been participating in different international musical events and appeared on many stages worldwide as a DJ & live act. Victor has various projects in creating and experimenting with the electronic musical sound and therefore, any attempt to describe or explain the essence of his music would be rather incomplete without listening to and directly experiencing it. |

Search | Add | 3 | Classic Muscle | CLASSIC MUSCLE formed in August, 2013 in strange circumstances. Finding themselves stuck in a summer thunderstorm, luckily close to one of their rehearsal rooms, they formed out of a simple need to shelter; through a jam-session, beers all round, the songs were written in a few hours and recorded in one afternoon, live, raw, irresistible. Take a pick of what influences you want to tag them with (Swell Maps, Half-Japanese, Pixies, The Feelies, Low) the classic, reverb-laden vocal, messy yet ultimately melodic guitars backed with tight drums and bass, these boys tick all the right boxes, it's simply classic in every sense. Adding a considerable amount of muscle to their sound in it's sheer assault-on-the-senses live show, all those lightly reverby and totally safe-sounding Brooklyn bands better watch out, this band is the real deal.

This great album has more than 25 musicians involved, which lent their talent to celebrate WAVE RECORDS 10th anniversary and support CARE Cancer Institute, where 50% of its sales profit will be destined to the institution. The CARE Cancer Institute helps poor people who needs cancer treatment and fake hair after chemo. Wanting more information, please visit INSTITUTO CARE / PROJETO SANSÃO at: http://www.careoncologia.com.br/instituto-care The idea came after 4AD´s This Mortal Coil, with unusual partners doing songs together, but in this case, we wish to celebrate 10 years of the WAVE RECORDS label and, the most important, support and help people in need of cancer treatment. Music project & concept by Alex Twin Sounds on the album will transport you to the 80´s era: ethereal, melancholic and beautiful!

Named after his solo "Scanning Planet 3", they strike a unique balance between out-there spaciness and hybrids of jazz and folk musics. Search | Add | 3 | Maria Lucia Lozanes | Maria Lucia Moreno Lozañes | Maria Lucia Moreno Lozañes, or simply MaLoY, (born 13 December 1976) is a Philippine-born German singer. She was the 2nd female singer of the German Eurodance act [a=Captain Jack] from 1998 until 2000. After taking a break from the record music scene, she returned in 2006 with the German DJ act [a=Shaun Baker]. She not only sings, but also plays the keyboards and drums, dances, and is a composer and songwriter. She comes from a family of musicians. Her dad, Efren Lozañes, is a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist who travelled the world most of the time, and one of her brothers Antonio Lozañes, is a keyboardist. Maloy had never dreamt of a singing career, even if she took part to singing contests with her brother. She was almost always in the hospital due to her asthma, which did not prevent her from doing good studies. It wasn't until before she finished High School that she thought of pursuing a singing career. She was a member of the showband XPO and toured the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. Her father, who had been living in Germany since the late 1970s with an all-Filipino funk & soul band called Please, decided to get her and her brother, Tony, to join him in 1993. She did some backing vocals on the project Le Click's album, and contributed to ToyBox Love To The Limit. In 1999, whe became Captain Jack's new female singer. |

Search | Add | 3 | Alessandro Fais | ALESSANDRO FAIS (Singer of Sardinian popular music) (Cantante della musica folkloristica sarda). Born in 1936, in Sindia, until a few years ago he was rightly considered one of the protagonist of "Canto a chitarra" (song of Sardinian folklore with guitar). Equipped with a decidedly expressive voice and with a strong charge of sympathy, Fais imposed itself long to win L'Usignolo della Sardegna, the highest singing competition organized every year in Ozieri. His melodious voice, brilliant and of great communicative capacity, made sure that the public gave him a broad consensus. In particular, Fais distinguished himself in the execution of the mutos de amore, but above all with his Ballu de Sindia, in a cheerful and lively interpretation, such as to deeply involve his listeners. It was also his personality, full of deep and sincere humanity, that made him appreciable and amiable to the general public. In 2005 he was awarded an important career award by the ACLI of Sardinia. Many recordings were made together with other cantadores, such as "Sa gara", in the company of cantadores Serafino Murru and Francesco Cubeddu, guitarist Antonio Marongiu and accordionist Pietro Madau.
