Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 4 | Cezar Lacrone | Balázs Kányási | Cezar Lacrone aka. Bhalaaz, alias Balázs Kányási was born in 1983 25 May. He showed special interest in music as a child, Dj Kühl - Liquid Trance & Heaven Session was the first CD that made a really great impression on him in the year 2000 and directed his interest towards electronic music. House and progressive house mix music also had a remarkable influence on Cezar Lacrone's style. In 2003 he decided to make a great step and have his talent rated as a composer. His immature first pieces didn't fit to any defined style, they were rather the manifestation of his soul through music. He began building up his compositions with the awareness of musical structure in 2005. His individual style also took shape so he began making progressive house music with considerable software backup. By 2005-2006 more than 60 pieces of his music were waiting on the hard disc of his computer to be published. However, due to lack of the time and negligence they were not given to any publishers then. During this period he made friends with a lot of musicians appreciated in many music sections, we can find among them Dj Sandy Martinez aka. Alexsession, Dj Somi aka. Airplay 47, Shokey. During years 2007-2009 nothing special happened worth mentioning, his career prospects as a musician seemed to fall through, he laid stress upon making designs of websites, 3D sights. After a time it changed from a hobby into a job. In June 2009, due to the urge of his friends Richard Sanders and Shokey, he dusted his old pieces of music and sent them to a publisher. It hit him as a real wonder that most of them were accepted by the publishers. This inspired him so much that he began composing again with reborn enthusiasm. He hopes to meet all the challenges and music requirements of our time. "Music which can alter the man is the mirror of the soul." |

| Search | Add | 4 | Feral is the Kid | Jake Zimkiewicz | On his debut album, Feral is the Kid confronts themes of darkness, grief, loss, and death - all themes that have surrounded the human condition in some way, shape, or form. Though an exaggeration of real life events, the record is rooted in realism in some way. The 48 minute concept record follows the likes of it's titular character, Kid Vicious. Real life situations inspired the 11 tracks on the record. From the death of family members to the loss of friendships. From the feeling of self hate to the confusion of religion and spiritualism. While the record might have an unfortunate ending, this is just the beginning of a story years in the making for Feral is the Kid. Born Jake Zimkiewicz in Massachusetts, Zimkiewicz wasn't brought into a musical family. It was only when he showed interest at a young age that he was placed in voice lessons from the local church choir director. After singing in church and seeming to grow musically, Zimkiewicz moved to Florida with his family. At the age of fourteen, he composed his own tracks in his bedroom. He created some of his first songs (some of which you may be able to find online still) and began what would eventually become the Feral is the Kid project. "Music is something I'll always have. It's always something I'll be involved in. Once I start, I can't stop. This is only the beginning." |

They returning to Europe during 1934-1939. After the outbreak of WWII they went to the Middle East and ended up touring for ENSA (including Egypt, India, Burma, Singapore, Hong Kong and Batavia). | Search | Add | 4 | The 59 Sound | Possibly you are facing one of more interesting profiles of the current spanish scene. The 59 Sound is a quintet based in Málaga (Spain), formed by Vic de Wee on vocals, dutch from Utrech and “Man Made Ivory” (grunge band from Utrech) former lead singer; Mateo brothers: Juan Antonio, Jorge y José Manuel (guitarists and bass player hardened in bands such as Monster -REM covers-, Hondonero, etc.; and Aurelio Tello as drummer from Madrid. They debuted in 2016 on the spanish recording scene with a Cd called “Instinto”, but a couple of years ago with the addition of Vic as vocalist and Aurelio on drums, they decided to close the previous stage and they started the project virtually from scratch. They changed their language to English and they locked themselves in the rehearsal room to shape their first songs, difficult to label, circling around an alternative rock, which it can sounds bright or dark, direct or progressive, with a powerful and solid rhythm section accompanied by precise guitars and which highlights Vic de Wee´s vocal range. After recording the "Miles Away" EP in 2020, they now return in 2022 with the "SCARS" EP, a new CD with 5 songs of their own composition, started at the Moby Dick Studios in Malaga and finished in Holland at the Barn in the Meadow Studios, Benschop, where they went to record the voices and the making the mixes with the production of Jordi Langelaan, direct technician of bands like Within Temptation or kensington.

| Search | Add | 4 | Daniel O'Brien-Bravi | Bassist, born in Chicago, lived in Philadelphia and Portland, and currently Cleveland. Originally trained as a classical trumpet player under Matt Lee and briefly under John Hagstrom, performing in the Chicago Youth Concert Orchestra from ages 11-14, and the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra from the ages of 15-17 under Rossen Milanov. At the age of 16, he began approaching electric bass guitar intuitively as an expressive medium. In 2008, he began performing avante classical compositions under the moniker "that instrument" after being profoundly inspired by the solo work of Thomas Bonvalet, of the French band Cheval de Frise, known as l'ocelle mare, whose compositions are linearly composed to the extent that they sound improvised. Approaching musical composition as prose or poetry resonated far deeper than the typical rigid form and structure of contemporary music. From 2006-2014, ten solo bass guitar compositions were written and performed at various live shows in Portland, Oregon. Only one of these compositions has been recorded. The moniker "that instrument" is from frequently being asked about performing solo, saying "It's not really bass playing, but I do play that instrument." For solo compositions, he uses a 1997 Tobias 4-string bass that is not tuned like a bass guitar, but instead tensioned to intervals that have a specific feeling throughout the strings, and uses light gauge strings at high volume. In addition to "that instrument," he has played in several bands between Chicago and Portland, including Orchestra Pacifico Tropical (cumbia, dance), Ghosts & Monsters (mathcore, grind), and GALLONS (art/noise rock). | |

The basic agenda was the fusion, juxtaposition and/or superimposition of simpler music (various forms of popular music) with more complex music (mostly avant-garde jazz, classical, electronic music) guided by a sense of humor, irony and often irreverence. In essence, it's about integrating extremes and opposites, different musics that don't normally belong together.

I had always used fake names when I was doing straight music so I just went with it. The time period was late-1990s to early-2000s. We did shows in our basement during that time. We called it the Sacred Garden and had quite a few traveling improvisers play there as well. It was all documented in a film called Music Of The Moment by a fellow named Kevin Wisor.

| Search | Add | 4 | Nowhere Near The Garden | Strange name for a band? The name of the band originally comes from a marriage council guidance course, those who are unmarried are nowhere near the garden; the garden being the biblical garden of eden/perfection. Whatever you say pastor! Other theories include (but are not limited to) references to beer gardens, horticultural disasters, plant allergies and the mould growing on Jason's bed sheets (you wouldn't want to go anywhere near that garden). Garden party - The boys once ran up a £1175 bar tab in 4 days. The guitarist can't tell Kurt Cobain from James Hetfield - James doesn't listen to music on purpose, Jason and Rog once had to tell him who Kurt Cobain was. Metallicas sound man comes to the rescue Big Mick Hughes once got a call to help the band in a small smokey pub where he fixed a tiny vocal PA that had packed in. He has done sound for NNTG twice. The behind the scene stories this guy tells are priceless! Young musician of year - when not playing in the garden Jason is a classical percussionist; he has played with the CBSO and was a semi finalist in the young musician of the year competition. He graduated from music college on the Friday of Glastonbury. Rog is a classically trained composer (the two met at Birmingham Conservatoire) and has written a number of chamber, choral and orchestral pieces. Stolen gear - June 2003 the band had all of their gear stolen, £9000 in total. Other bands, friends and fans rallied round and supported by lending instruments and even donating cash. Regional TV and radio support as well. Gear is still missing. Senheisser competition winners - rog entered a competition advertised in Q. The band came 1st out of 1300 entries from UK and abroad. Band won 1st prize: £2500 cash, £2500 gear (which came in handy after the theft) and a spot on Glastonbury 04. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Head Of Lies | Head of Lies was an alternative/hard rock band based in Portland, Oregon. Formed in 1995 in Stillwater, Oklahoma, Head of Lies spent two years writing and developing their sound, and playing shows around Oklahoma and Kansas. Early in 1997, they decided that it was time to commit some tracks to a recording. Using little more than an 8-track digital recorder and some descent microphones, Javier recorded the bands first demo, "The Missing Link" in the band's living room. Head of Lies fully produced the entire demo, including designing and creating all of the artwork for the CD. In early 1998, realizing that their opportunities were limited in Oklahoma, Head of Lies decided to relocate. Portland seemed an ideal choice. Arriving in late 1998, the band immediately started visiting local clubs and checking out music shows, both large and small. Deciding that their first demo was not representative of their current sound, Head of Lies got to work on a new EP. Finished in early August 1999, "Trapped Ugly" was again fully recorded and produced by the band. It has a much more professional sound to it. At this time, Head of Lies continued to write new material and play shows around the Portland area pursuing a career in the music industry. It was not until 2002 that they released their studio album Clay And Needles. After this, no further information was received from the band. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Last Joker | Last Joker was formed by Miguel Mega, Portuguese guitar player, in the late eighties in Santos, São Paulo, Brazil. In 1990 Last Joker recorded their first demo tape with the songs " Without You " , " Last Joker " , " Hold on Tight " and " Every Night " and started a career playing for eager crowds in the São Paulo state. Because of their musicality , stage presence and sold out concerts they got the attention of Metal Rock Records and recorded their first LP simply called " Last Joker " and toured Brazil supporting bands such as Sepultura, Angra, Dr. Sin, RDP among others. In the middle nineties the band broke up and Miguel Mega moved to LA and started a solo career and released around 10 instrumental solo cds and appeared on several compilations alongside Greg Howe (Howe II, Michael jackson, Maragold), Kiko Loureiro (Angra, Megadeth) among others . In 2014 Miguel Mega moved to the UK and regrouped Last Joker with singer Roddy B. (Avenger, Abbadon), guitarist Yves Martin, bassist Al Pringle and drummer Adam Proud and have just recorded their new cd release for Into the Limelight Records, Last Joker - Ulterior Motives and have released the video clip for the single " Kissed by the Lake". When the A&R scouts of Into The LimeLight Records listened to the new material it was clear that this was something different. Refreshing, fantastic rock songs, catchy and with a quality you may expect of these very experienced musicians. Reason to offer a contract straight away. Roddy B - Vocals & Guitars Miguel Mega - Guitars Josh Eckert - Bass Adam Proud - Drums | |
