Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 5 | Lyn La Salle | Lyndon J. LaSalle | 'Takin’ Life Easy b/w Randee Ramjet’ was originally recorded at Dove Studios in Minneapolis Minnesota. The A&R guy who had arranged the horns had a nervous breakdown and stole the master tape and we couldn’t find him or the tape for nine months. When we finally found the guy and the tape we had it pressed under our own label, it was called Hy Nibble and had a picture of a giraffe on it. Some disc jockey friends of mine really liked the songs and sent a copy to A&M records in Hollywood. I was really surprised to get a call from Larry Alpert, Herbs brother, and he asked me if I wanted to have the songs on A&M. We actually made money on the Hy Nibble label and paid back our recording costs. A&M never paid me any royalties although the record was really big in the mid-west and played on the radio from New York to San Diego. There are some other weird things that happened in those days too – after all it was the 60s. Later joined [a=Daybreak (51)]. |

Search | Add | 5 | Turk Kincheloe | Stuart G. Kincheloe | The Turk Kincheloe Quartet was a jazz ensemble. The band was led by a pianist, Stuart G. Kincheloe (born April 13, 1931), who at this time was going as Turk Kincheloe; his guitarist, bassist, and drummer have not been identified. Six tracks were laid down at his session in October. Two contrasting sides saw release on Vee-Jay 143, a tough record to find today. "Modern Trend," as the title suggested, was a fluent bop number featuring Kincheloe's piano. "The Cash Box" was squarely aimed at the jukebox market; Kincheloe played organ with one hand and piano with the other, on a blues with a whomping backbeat. Vee-Jay soon turned to Tommy Dean for this kind of material, but when the company's Abner subsidiary was revived in 1962, its first release in the 7000 series was a couple of R&B instrumentals probably intended for use as interludes on the radio. "The Cash Box" fit right in, even though it was 8 years older than the Bill Sheppard number it was paired with. Kincheloe accompanied The Dells on their "Oh What a Nite" session (May 1956) and recorded another jazz session for Vee-Jay in July 1956, this time as a member of Duke Groner's aggregation. By the early 1960s, he had changed his marquee name to Kirk Stuart and was still leading jazz combos in the Chicago area. By the mid-1960s he had relocated to Los Angeles. For years, Stuart led a trio that backed singers, notably Sarah Vaughan and Joe Williams, but he also worked as an arranger and in other jazz bands, notably that of Al Grey. |

Search | Add | 5 | Karraskilla | Juan Karraskilla | Karraskilla's sound is thick with shadows of his past adventures in rock, funk, and Latin jazz - enough to be dubbed by one artist as "classic psychedelic in a modern package". His productions have also been described as "pretty wild", and "no hype, no recipe, just fresh unexpected surprising music." by others. With a mouth-watering melodic groove and spine tingling Detroit-infused bass lines, Karraskilla always promise a danceable sound for a hungry crowd. In 2008, he co-founded the popular New York City-based Biatch Corp Recordings label with Alvaro Bueno AKA Pito, the label's debut release was also Karraskilla's first. Entitled "Su Merced el Pimp" with remixes from Jussi Pekka and Perc, his debut was " ..a highly danceable and equally enjoyable affair" according to 365Mag. Fine tuning his skills as a DJ, he played top New York nightclubs such as Studio B, Sullivan Room, and Cielo before releasing "Tren Siete Expreso Cali" on Biatch Corp with remixes from Brendon Moeller and Pawas. De-Bug called that one "[a] very fine and surprisingly deep plate". His third release, "La Estancia con Mi Amigo el Efimero", got some serious buzz last fall. Big room flavor, different, weird, unexpected, awesome, spooky & wild, were some of the words used to describe Biatch Corp's sixth release. Karraskilla' latest EP - "Premium Traditional” is to be release on Nov 19th, 2010 with two originals and a remix from Ascii Disko. He also has a remix due out on Hidden Recording's highly anticipated follow-up to their much talked-about new single. He also has a spate of high quality unreleased tunes he is currently polishing up for release in 2011. |

Search | Add | 5 | Mattew Lee | Matteo Orizi | Matthew Lee, a rock’n’roll singer and pianist from Italy, was born in Pesaro on January 6 1982. At 11, he started attending the Conservatoire in Pesaro, his hometown. He immediately learned the piano techniques, by playing classical music. Three times he was invited to the famous Italian TV show “Domenica In…” which was immediately followed by more TV. Meanwhile the press has defined him as the “genius in Jerry Lee Lewis' wake” Matthew started touring the most famous Italian clubs, including The Place in Rome, Le Scimmie in Milan, Barfly in Ancona, Naima in Forlì. During summer 2005, he was invited to a number of important festivals, including San Severino Marche Blues Festival, which he opened in front of 1500 enthusiastic people, and the Summer Jamboree festival in Senigallia. At the end of 2005, Matthew performed in Rome, during New Year's Feast, with 150,000 participants. In November 2006, Matthew Lee released his first album “[r=9458218]”, produced by the Italian group [a643509]. The album was also recorded in their studios. The artistic director of this album was the Nomadi's guitar player [a1322960], who also recorded some guitar's tracks. This important co-operation led Matthew to be invited to open the concerts of this famous Italian group. In December 2006, [a229326], who has always appreciated his art, invited him to perform at Motor Show in Bologna, in the "Myths of music" stand. During summer 2007, Matthew was invited by many important Italian blues festivals, including Soul Island festival, Brindisi blues festival, Subiaco Blues festival, Lodi Blues festival and Tropea blues festival. Even internationally Matthew Lee does not go unnoticed: he started touring abroad last year, appearing in Holland, Germany, France and the UK. His second album, "[r=9458372]" was released in May 2008. It is recorded live on different occasions through Italy. In 2015 was released the second studio album "[r=9458309]". |

Search | Add | 5 | Charivari Trio | The Charivari Trio was established in 1986 and initially played a broad repertory of folk music. Gradually, the trio developed a special preference for gipsy and Latin American music. Between 1989 and 1995, the trio formed the heart of tango orchestra Nachtschade and klezmer group Kalarash. Since 1992, various composers such as Joop van Erven, Dolf de Kinkelder, Michiel Braam, and Joep Everts, were commissioned to write new repertory. The trio organizes the yearly Charivarifestival with concerts and workshops for amateur musicians. After ten years of Charivari, a selection of their repertory appeared on the CD Romance de Barrio. Subsequently, Hora Sentimental was delivered, a collage of traditional and new Eastern European music. The CD ¡ABRE! consists of a mixture of Latin American and gipsy music. The Charivari Trio took part in several theater productions, such as Ethisch Reveil, after a text by Dirkje Kuik, with theater group InDependance (1986) , Liefdesportretten, with music by Andries van Rossem and with De Plaats (1998), and GILGAMESH, with actor Frank Groothof and with Stichting Vrije Val (2002-2003).

With just one EP released on No Tomorrow Records in 1998, The Budweisers from Asturias (Spain) were a very short-lived band (wrongly considered a parallel act of The Feedbacks, with whom they shared 2 band members) but have however remained favorites among the 90’s punkpop lovers crew. Fast forward 20 years and they’re back as if only 5 minutes had passed, delivering a second EP that sounds just as if it had been recorded a week after their now classic “My Girlfriend’s A Bonehead”. 4 solid gold melodic punkrock tracks just as perfect and sticky as you might wish.

His name means "he who sings the soul of his people". Francophone songwriter, he is famous in Quebec for his pioneering work and his unique family heritage: ...the artist comes from the family of Prosper Vincent, the first Catholic priest Wendat (Huron) ordained in 1870 and one of the last speakers of the Wendat language. François Vincent studied singing at the Académie des Trois Arts in Quebec, and then recorded his first album, Kiowarini, in 1973. His famous song Le Huron vagabond made him a star of his generation and a Wendat cultural ambassador. Attached to revitalizing, researching, interpreting and documenting the traditional songs of his nation, he participates in numerous films, documentaries and television shows. He was notably invited to speak during the celebration of the Great Peace of Montreal in 2001. His song La Huronne, composed by Huot and Lavigueur, is a Wendat national anthem. Search | Add | 5 | Judge Doom | G.P. Bailey X | N.V.One (My) Bio: (In Short) Born in Billings, MT and Raised in Southern California. N.V.One (The Naturally Violent One) had been in the system starting at age 6, which was also around the same age he witnessed his babysitter beat and murder another child right in front of him, creating what would be the beginning of an extensive list of mental health issues. Spent most of his life in and out of jail, until inevitably receiving a prison sentence in 2010 while living in southern Colorado. After being released from the Colorado State Penitentiary in 2015, he started working on his true passion once more, that being, Violent-Aggressive-Hardcore-Hip Hop. While not vacationing the judicial system, he spent most of his time crafting intelligent lyricism and clever rhymes to create Hip Hop with a Requiem for a Dream/They Live/Clockwork Orange Feel to it and establishing himself in the Hip Hop community as well as forming friendships with some of Hip Hop's other troubled greats. |
