Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 5 | Original Camellia Jazz Band | Taking its name from a steam paddle wheeler that, in a bygone era, ran excursions across Lake Ponchartrain from Milneburg to Mandeville, the Original Camellia Jazz Band has become one of the most musically consistent and visible bands in New Orleans today. A working unit, they are equally happy to play for a Sunday Brunch, a convention party, a dinner dance or wedding reception. Every engagement shows off their versatility nicely with a wide spectrum of tunes - from traditional jazz classics like Tiger Rag and Basin Street Blues, to great standards of the 30s and 40s such as 'S Wonderful and Stardust. The Camellia can perform in the full six or seven-piece format, or as the Camellia Trio or Quartet for more relaxed, soft jazz. The smaller format works well also as a strolling group or mini-parade band. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Algy Lord Gray | Alan Gray | In the early seventies Algy and pals decided to musically "get it together in the country" and went to Wales where they stumbled upon the gorgeous abandoned mansion Plas Llecha. They moved in and began recording, living in primitive but beautiful surroundings - and remained in Wales forever. Bertie was hand made each with unique covers, and a copy was sent to a baffled John Peel who wrote back to the band and later gave them a live Peel Session slot. Bertie is a specific form of naturally eccentric brilliance, drawing on an anarchic british tradition that encompasses James Joyce, The Goons, Hawkwind and Monty Python. Undercurrents of genius later transformed into actual genius with their next band The Great Crash. From 1971 - 1974 they developed a beautiful melodic Art Rock and recorded 30 tracks in the mansion, Piano led and sometimes reminiscent of Elton Johns best early compositions, with a dash of 10cc, and a Deja Vu vibe. The insular circumstances of their lifestyle and spacious digs seem to have allowed their musical spirits to flourish. An exec at Parlophone got wind of their music and signed them up, but, as with their Peel session, they just couldnt work in the sterile studio conditions, and the sessions ended in disaster as the band fled back to their beloved Welsh Idyll. Unbeknownst to themselves and the world at large, the Great Crash sessions from Plas Llecha, are pure gold dust, and represent rhe great Lost Classic of British Rock. A missing piece in the tapestry of British music. Their 1972-1973 unissued double LP ' Deadfire Echoes' is scheduled for a Jan 2022 release on Seelie Court. Plas Llecha became an internationally famous Recording Studio where Oasis and The Verve recorded their major albums, |

| Search | Add | 5 | Brett James Phillips | Phoenix guitarist and luthier Brett James Phillips submitted a CD-R containing 12 instrumental songs which cover a range of music styles, including acoustic, rock, trippy acid, and more. A serious player, Phillips uses both electric and acoustic guitars and a number of effects devices and/or recording techniques to create unique and diverse textures of musical expression. He has hand built his own instruments and recorded his music in his own studio. As evidenced by the songs on his CD-R, Phillips values highly the improvisational aspect of music, taking a number of chops-happy, jammy excursions over the sequenced backing tracks. "Painted Desert", for example, has a soaring theme, followed by a long, rock'n'classical harmonized improvisation. On Phillips' timeless acoustic tracks, you'll find some beautiful pieces of music. alb Brett started playing the piano at age seven and picked up the trumpet and tuba while in high school. He first picked up the guitar at the age of nineteen, and also learned how to build and design acoustic and electric guitars at the Roberto Venn School of Luthiery. Brett started his own business in 1991, teaching private guitar and bass lessons as well as customizing and repairing stringed instruments. He also co-founded and helped operate the Cellar coffee house, largely as a music venue specializing in the development of new talent. Phillips has plans to continue to play as a solo guitarist in the Phoenix area, building a fan base as well as helping other artists record their original music. He intends to keep writing, recording and performing his original compositions while remaining independent to maintain artistic control. Phillips has a 21-song acoustic CD planned for an April 1 release in the Phoenix area. Contact Information Brett Phillips 1426 E. Utopia Rd. Phoenix, AZ 85024 United States | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Cherry Blossom Chains | Cherry Blossom Chains is a project born from the suffering and pain of life. This is a very personal project which draws inspiration directly from bad and good feelings. It's a way to express what can't be expressed. Due to the nature of the project, C.B.C. was initially intended to be an experimental and atmospheric Black Metal project and some of the first songs were written in that way; but after some time it changed into a Dark/Electronic project. However it is possible that in the future the music will change again as it depends on what has to be expressed. C.B.C. has only one member named Andrea (sometimes known as Vlakorados or Insanity). He lives in northern Italy (Varese, Lombardy) and works as a programmer and web designer. He started making music just for fun in 2009 with his Lolicore project Bloody Vomit Bukkake. In late 2011 he decided to create C.B.C. which will focus on more serious sounds. | |

At the time of these releases, Crescent Noon Records was based in Prospect Park, Pennsylvania, and Brawn was credited both as the artist and as the label proprietor. His work sits within the late-1980s/early-1990s North American dance and club music landscape and appears to have been distributed in limited quantities, contributing to its relative obscurity. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Turk Kincheloe | Stuart G. Kincheloe | The Turk Kincheloe Quartet was a jazz ensemble. The band was led by a pianist, Stuart G. Kincheloe (born April 13, 1931), who at this time was going as Turk Kincheloe; his guitarist, bassist, and drummer have not been identified. Six tracks were laid down at his session in October. Two contrasting sides saw release on Vee-Jay 143, a tough record to find today. "Modern Trend," as the title suggested, was a fluent bop number featuring Kincheloe's piano. "The Cash Box" was squarely aimed at the jukebox market; Kincheloe played organ with one hand and piano with the other, on a blues with a whomping backbeat. Vee-Jay soon turned to Tommy Dean for this kind of material, but when the company's Abner subsidiary was revived in 1962, its first release in the 7000 series was a couple of R&B instrumentals probably intended for use as interludes on the radio. "The Cash Box" fit right in, even though it was 8 years older than the Bill Sheppard number it was paired with. Kincheloe accompanied The Dells on their "Oh What a Nite" session (May 1956) and recorded another jazz session for Vee-Jay in July 1956, this time as a member of Duke Groner's aggregation. By the early 1960s, he had changed his marquee name to Kirk Stuart and was still leading jazz combos in the Chicago area. By the mid-1960s he had relocated to Los Angeles. For years, Stuart led a trio that backed singers, notably Sarah Vaughan and Joe Williams, but he also worked as an arranger and in other jazz bands, notably that of Al Grey. |

| Search | Add | 5 | Luc Miles | Luc Miles | Luc Miles have always had a particular approach with music. During his adolescence he has been attracted by afro, hip-hop and R&B music, from the great classics to the new releases. Luc had a constant musical learning and growing up he contradictorily started to approach to the electronic music world. Going often to different clubs, he quickly understood that he was intensely attracted by a total discordant musical style, comparing to his past trends. Seduced by the club culture and by the dark and hypnotic sounds of the minimal music, Luc tried to learn different techniques in order to produce his music. His experience of producer started as a hobby during the last years of high school. His real first EP "La Patineta" was published in 2009 on Alex Young's label, Kraft Records. From that year Luc started to publish numerous tracks on labels like Gomma, Malatoid, Society 3.0, Apt. International and Natural Rhythm. During the years were born also important collaborations with artists like Lucio Malatoid, Alex Piccini, Wigbert, Ian Pooley, Matt Star, Horatio and some of his tracks were played by djs of the caliber of Mendo, Ellen Alien, Josh Wink, Markus Homm, Martin Eyerer, Roger Sanchez and many others. Meticulous and perfectionist, in studio Luc selects ethnic and sensual melodies, trying to filter them in the ethics of the house and techno music. Congas, maracas and researched cymbals steadily nourish, with a cheerful and lively rhythm, the full-bodied and powerful bass line. The main suction is to bind and mix the electronic with the warm sounds of jazz and world music. Talking about his dj sets, Luc doesn't subscribe himself to a main genre, but includes all the various branches of the house and techno music. The approach with every dance floor, with a more or less numerous public, is to create a warm, harmonious and festive groove through an instinctive and well-balanced selection of LPs. |

| Search | Add | 5 | Djoko Dokich | George Dokich | Tamburitza player (b. October 20, 1889 Tuk, Srem District, Vojvodina, Serbia [then Austria Hungary] – December 24, 1944 Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) Born in a small village in a multi-ethnic part of what is now Serbia, "Djoko" Dokich played the prim and the brač. In August 1913, he emigrated to the United States, where he settled in Pittsburgh and became one of the founders of the popular Tamburitza Orchestra "Jorgovan". In 1975, he was inducted into the Tamburitza Association of America's Hall of Fame. His TAA Hall of Fame eulogy runs, as follows: The life story of the late Djoko Dokich reveals the great part that perseverance and determination played in altering his life, thereby enabling him to pursue his chosen field in music and marking him as one of the all-time greats in the annals of tamburitza culture. Born in Selo Tuk, in the province of Srem, Yugoslavia, Djoko's father wanted his son to follow in his footsteps as a farmer, but fate plays mysterious tricks. After a gallant try, Djoko left the farm and soon was wending his way to America. In 1909, Djoko was entertaining with the greats in the world of tambura in the United States, playing in the original Jorgovan Orchestra and enjoying it with musicians such as Baich, Deda Petrovich, Elijah Miskovich, Pete Perez, Skornjak, Jim Kovacevic and the great violinist Zerbes (a fact which probably inspired him to have his son Melvin study and become one of tamburitza's great violinists). Djoko toured with his orchestra all over the country and was on many of the vaudeville circuits. In the late twenties, Djoko Dokich's arrangements started to make an impact. Arranging for large tambura groups, it was he who made it possible for tamburasi to play selections like Mozart's "Magic Flute", the Poet and Peasant Overture, Enesco's entire "Romanian Rhapsody" by Franz Liszt and many others equally as great. A pioneer in the early recordings, Djoko Dokich recorded some 100 records and for those who are fortunate to have one or two, they are collector's items. His original recording of "Kukavica" showed his talent for arranging. With a clever arrangement, he turned an average song into a winner. Always a gentlemen respected by his peers, Djoko excelled on first Brac, but was proficient on all the instruments that make up a full compliment of a tamburitza orchestra. He also had a fine, strong tenor voice with a fantastic range. In the early 1930s, the Dokichs were living in the Pittsburgh area. Here Djoko taught music and continued his playing. By now a certain youngster was being groomed and in a few short years was to become heir apparent. Young Melvin (Milovan) Dokich and father became a familiar sight and sound for years to come until World War II ended an era. During an emergency furlough from the service of his country, a strange quirk of fate befell young Dokich. Visiting his critically ill mother, he substituted a playing engagement for his father so that the elder Dokich could attend to his wife. Midway through the performance Mel received a phone call informing him of a death in the family. Knowing the severity of his mother's illness, he assumed his mother had passed away only to hear the voice on the line repeat "Your father has died". December 1944, Djoko Dokich was laid to rest in Cleveland, Ohio, thus bringing to a close the colorful career of a great musician, who overcame many obstacles to follow his heart's desire. Spiritually, Djoko Dokich is still with us. He lives through his great arrangements and the inspirational musicianship of his son, Melvin Dokich. |

| Search | Add | 5 | Fraser Gange | Fraser Gange-Adams | Scottish baritone, Fraser Gange was born in Dundee, Scotland, in 1886. He died in Baltimore in 1962 at the age of 76. By 1906 he had made his London debut at Queen's Hall. In 1917 he married the Welsh soprano Amy Evans, forming a personal and artistic union which would last for the rest of his life. Gange began his recording career during the first World War, cutting his first records for English Columbia in 1915 while still a soldier in uniform. All told, 29 songs were recorded for English Columbia; they are now quite rare. In May 1918, however, the HMV house publication "The Voice" announced Gange's switch to HMV. In 1920 Fraser Gange and Amy Evans undertook a remarkable joint tour of Britain, Australia, and New Zealand--some 187 concerts in all! They kept up that pace for a few years, and at the same time Gange began to teach singing at the Royal Academy of Music in London. Toward the end of 1923 the Ganges set sail for New York. |
