Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024
Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Last known bio is below.** Last Nail Driven formed in the Spring of 2009 by guitarist, Dominic Jannuzzio and vocalist, Chris Swincki. Over the last couple of years, the band has played a good number of shows and has had many members come and go. Ever since the Summer of 2010, the band came to a sudden halt when original drummer, Nick Jannuzzio moved away. However, the band recently acquired drummer, Dan Gagnon (ex. Search | Add | 2 | Brianne Curran | is an improvising violinist from Sydney, Australia currently living in Berlin (since 2015). Having played the instrument since the age of 3, she has a background in numerous musical fields but her focus is on improvised music and its tangeants. Relationship between artist, environment and audience is of major interest in her approach to music making and its developments. Also of interest is how to break the box of ‘the violinist’. From 2004 she lived in the ACT and then the Blue Mountains in NSW. During this time she focused herself out in the Australian bush often in isolation, exploring ways to express and connect with the surrounding landscape, the moment, and space through music. She returned to her home town to complete her Bachelor Degree in Music (performance) as a scholarship holder in 2008 (ANU/AIM). Back in Sydney, Brianne got in touch with projects such as the Splinter Orchestra and the Nownow festival, initiatives founded by double bassist Clayton Thomas. For 6 years she was band leader and manager of world/jazz quintet Takadimi founded in 2009. The band toured extensively throughout NSW and the East Coast of Australia, and released their debut album New Common Sense through MGM in 2011. The group gained widespread recognition throughout Australia via the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, and numerous other radio stations and press around the country, such as national newspaper The Australian. Brianne’s teachers have been Mr Yasuki Nakamura, Janet Davies, Jane Brownlee, Chris Duncan, Shi Yuan Jur, Shaykh Ibrahim Al Ansari, Adrian Keating, and Greg Coffin. Within Australia, she has performed at numerous festivals including the Melbourne International Jazz Festival (VIC), National Folk Festival Australia (ACT), Woodford Folk Festival (QLD), Illawarra Folk Festival (TAS), Cygnet Folk Festival (TAS), Peak Festival (NSW snowfields), and most recently with musicians such as Clayton Thomas, Mary Rapp, and also Alex Nowitz and Sophia Brous at the Nownow Festival in Sydney (NSW) last year. Being only a newcomer on the Europe scene, she has already toured numerous times through Poland and Germany (Berlin, Leipzig). Currently she performs regularly with the Krakow Improvisers Orchestra, and also with numerous musicians in different combinations in the Berlin improvised scene.

Search | Add | 2 | Kerri Wells | Suzanne Rhatigan | Irish singer/songwriter, pianist, guitarist, and vocalist Suzanne Rhatigan was raised in Dublin, but moved to London in the early '80s, where she began to do session vocal work for record producers Stock, Aitken & Waterman. After teaching herself piano and beginning to compose her own songs, Rhatigan attracted a manager and a publisher, and continued to try to pin down a record deal through the late '80s; when a friend played her tape for executives at Imago, her career was launched. Rhatigan chose Fred Maher to produce To Hell with Love, her bluesy 1992 debut that included guest appearances from the likes of keyboardist Bernie Worrell and singer/songwriter Matthew Sweet (who played bass). However, Imago folded shortly after the album's release, and her career stalled. Four years later, Rhatigan resurfaced with the LP Late Developer. In 1998 she released the EP Big Stick on her own Cushy Productions imprint. |

Their one-off album 'Decadence' was recorded in Paris, and was initially planned as the second album of HR3, with participation of Hansford's old compatriots from France, François Causse and Benoît Moerlen. This near re-iteration of the Pierre Moerlen's Gong rhythm section (Hansford, François and Benoît) finally resulted in this new band christened after the title of the album [m27835] in which they all played together for the first time in 1977.

All I can say is that I experienced total freedom in making the album, I hope the listener experiences the same freedom interpreting it. They were dubbed "seas", by early astronomers who mistook them for actual seas. They are less reflective than the "highlands" as a result of their iron-rich composition, and hence appear dark to the naked eye. The project of Moscow based artist P.Mkhlv represents his experiments with acoustic and electronic sound sources in field of landscape, cinematic, adorably dark and slow-motion sides of music.

Search | Add | 2 | Brandon Kellum | Brandon Kellum | Brandon Kellum (born November 1, 1985), is an American musician, author and philanthropist from Phoenix, Arizona best known as the vocalist of the metalcore band American Standards. He is characterized for his charismatic live performances and philosophical lyrical content. He is an advocate for local artists, businesses and charitable causes. Early life and education Kellum was born in Phoenix, Arizona. He attended Trevor G. Browne High School and later Arizona State University. He works as a business consultant for a fortune 500 company. Musical career Vera Lynne/Movie script ending He began his musical career in 2002 as the guitarist for the post hardcore band Vera Lynne which originally performed under the name Movie Script Ending. Vera Lynne was the first of many Monster Energy sponsored artists that went on to play the Vans Warped Tour and play tour dates with bands such as It Dies Today, Still Remains, The Used, As Cities Burn and Avenged Sevenfold. The group disbanded in 2007 after releasing one EP and one LP. The Hostage Situation After disbanding, Brandon formed the southern metal band The Hostage Situation assuming the position of vocals. The band had a tongue in cheek demeanor and was known for its high energy live shows. After releasing the LP "When I Say Go..." and touring in support of it, Hostage called it quits in 2010. American Standards In 2011 Brandon joined American Standards. American Standards was when Kellum started incorporating sociopolitical views into his lyrics which included satire and social commentary. This quality found him as a guest on several media outlets. American Standards has label backing and distribution through Victory Records and has shared the stage with several bands that Kellum has cited as influences, such as; Every Time I Die, Zao, The Chariot, Refused, Comeback Kid, Atreyu and Emery. Heart Shaped Canvas During this time Kellum founded Heart Shaped Canvas, a nonprofit organization that acts as a collective of artists using their art to raise funds and awareness for the causes they believe in. Through Heart Shaped Canvas, he has hosted benefit shows and released compilation albums supporting organizations such as the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Teen Lifeline, Halo Animal Rescue and the American Cancer Society. Side projects In 2014 Brandon joined Your Young as the bassist, touring, recording and opening for bands such as Converge, Glassjaw and Norma Jean. He is seen playing on the music video for the song 'The Sad, Sad Stories of Sadder Men'. Family He has an older brother named Joe Kellum and mother, Melissa Kellum. His father and grandparents passed of cancer in 2015. |

Search | Add | 2 | Vhod | VHOD was conceived by sole member Chris Shaver in January 2014. VHOD is essentially a merging of Chris's past projects [a=Godcursed], [a=Morbid Darkness] and WORMS OF THE BIRTH. Though those projects are now defunct and will no longer be active, VHOD will continue the musical and conceptual itinerary of those projects as well as introduce newer and more progressive elements. Because the sum of its parts would suggest a few different styles, both musically and vocally, VHOD will be a blending of those different styles and technically will be considered an Experimental Death Metal act.
