Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Non Just Luis | The generic name "Non Just Luis" encompasses the mixes produced for the B-sides of the artist Just Luis, in which the artist had no involvement whatsoever. These mixes were ultimately not selected for release in the official launches. The selection of these mixes was conditioned by the fact that the result deviated from the original purpose: to offer a B-side that could serve as a simple base for DJs to mix with other tracks. In some cases, the result strayed too far from the main goal of the A-side release. | Search | Add | 2 | devL | ??ARE YOU FOR SURREAL?? The history of devL begins in Paris with the advent of Surrealism in 1924. Thirteen years later, in 1937, Salvador Dali-who officially joined the Surrealists in 1929-paints L'invention des Montres (the Invention Of the Monsters), two years before his official break with the movement. Fast forward to 1997, when an angular power-punk band called Tin River Junction morphs into devL with the loss of drummer Arthur King. (He left the band to pursue a career in meditation.) Guitarist Action Housecat responds to the situation by calling Artie a "dog-dick" and purchasing a used Doctor Rhythm SixSixtySix drum machine to replace the former pulse instigator turned basket case. 1998: During the groups first recording session as devL, at a place called the Space in Poughkeepsie NY, a burst of live percussion is needed on the end of the epic "Conflation" and a guy name Shaque "bursts" up from Brooklyn to lay it down, completing the first album, evldevldevldevldevldevldevldevldevld, an album otherwise pulsed by guitar, bass, Moog, machine, effects, feedback, and the constant ranting of co-producer Jacques Cohen. (Just kidding-it was me who did most of the ranting.) (Anyway, when it comes to Shaque, he was supposed to come up on the 7o'clock train, but didn't even make it up until 1am. He did two takes of the track, smoked a joint, ate a hamburger, then got back onto the train to Brooklyn, never to be seen again. As far as this writer knows, Shaque is now living in Flushing, studying eastern percussion & cuisine with the world renowned guru/cult-leader/kook Aza Raza Taza.) Some of this "history" is obviously embellished. "History is written by the winners." "History is wrong and always has to be rewritten." "History is bunk." You figure out what's what. devL's practice of darkjoy continues on the Jacques Cohen engineered Invention of Monsterts/ Deathray Sunshine double CD. PowerMad tracks like "Killer" (spy-rock meets break-beat meets Red-era King Crimson) and "IOM" (musical pyramid building in the Mayan block-temple style) are balanced-in the strict Blakean sense-with the beautiful and contemplative tracks "We Are All Miraculous" and "Bounce" (track 2-!check this one out first!). devL plans to go full circle and beyond with its next project (tentatively titled Live in Tin River Junction) and is currently seeking musicians to create a collective atmosphere, e.g., Godspeed You! Black Emperor; 70's King Crimson. Violin, vocals, piano/keyboards, drums and percussion, mettallophone (vibraphone with no motor), mellotron, mettallotron (not yet invented), stereo goathorns, theramin, bass viol, and sexaphone are desired.... But, as it is well known, the devL is a shape shifter and is always prepared to perform live in its duo or trio incarnation. From Here to Eternity, King Bass Chord | |

| Search | Add | 2 | MoonTheory | San Francisco based Moon Theory is an engaging synthesis of rock grooves, trip-hop, and electronic. Very catchy songwriting and futuristic production are complemented by the hauntingly beautiful vocals of Kaeti O'Ghara, whose silky voice offers both allure and versatility. Equally impressive are Moon Theory's lyrics that somehow manage to convey deep meaning without being cerebral - transporting the listener to a colorful world rich in imagery, color and antiquity. Supporting and accentuating Kaeti's vocals are the alchemical electronic beats and guitars performed by producer TSO. From down-tempo and intoxicating to aggressive, the music communicates with a distinctive personality. The stylish blend of digital wizardry, dark driving hip-hop elements, and psychedelic permutations make Moon Theory great fun to get lost in, while a clear undercurrent of earthen magic and social relevance offer refreshing and compelling depth. Fans of Garbage, Bjork, Nine Inch Nails, Radiohead etc. will certainly enjoy Moon Theory, as will anyone who requires accessible melodies with their potent doses of futuristic chaos and gothic sensuality. Moon Theory's self-titled debut album was released by Ursa Minor on February 12, 2002. | |

Heart is needed! In their music they use elements from Austrian folk music, French chanson, American blues and Eastern European klezmer. The stories they tell in their songs get stuck. Your joy in making music is contagious. When asked about the background to their music, the initiator of the trio, Josef Köberl, answered with Bob Dylan: "How many roads must a man walk down, before you can call him a man?" | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Montys Travellin Music Show International | What brings these three Leicester lads, a Frenchman and a German together? Well the answer has to be musicman John Montague after all his years of playing and collaborating with many musicians both in the UK and afar. John had been working with French Multi-Instrumentalist Thierry Guillemot for over 15 years both in the UK and France. Leicester people will remember Thierry as he lived here for about 4 years around the late 90's. Also John had been working with the brilliant guitarist from Germany Marten Alex Rolf. After introducing local Bassman Keith Brooks and Drummer Alex Warwick, from igenisis to the other guys the chemistry and musicianship just naturally blended. Hence Montys Travellin Music Show International was born. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Erland Yildiz | Erland Yildiz | Erland Yildiz as his earthly name is was born December 22nd 1970 in Norway. He grew up in the heavier artistic circles of Oslo and from a very young age he like so many expressive souls, started to play percussion drums which elevated into a life manifesting journey through all sorts of drums and whatever other musical instruments that he could get his hands on. Erland rapidly got a reputation and started jamming with the "big boys in town" where the styles of Jazz, Funk, Rock, Reggae, Ska, Fusion and Disco ruled the sonic motion. From there he also because of his near family heritage, became more and more drawn to the classical oriental side of the musical scale. In the 90-s he started to transform a strong music taste within the electronic realm where GOA was the most awe inspiring and personally heartfelt complex genre to reflect and express. Outside his love and growth within ,,real" music, Erland Yildiz through the 90-s did his share of Confusion and Club as well, and ventured into Techno and even House. As a part of an underground scene, he both produced and played at local raves. Already in '96 he was creating his own Oriental Techno Trance music. Erland "Material Music" Yildiz first got well into keyboards and piano at the age of 16, and studied the general art of Guitar at the age of 25. In his older days -now passed- he was loosely famous for owning a massive synthesizer and electronic music equipment collection in the infamous Hausmania building in Oslo where he lived since '98 as a resident squatter for many years. His collection was no joke. Material music absolutely fills his life, and has for the nerdy ones been doing HD Recordings with Midi's since 1987. Besides music he today has a renewed inspired life-force to live, love and enjoy a free and wonderful life, and is presently a proud Table-Tennis enthusiast & champion. And for those who get to know his Material Music, will hear that besides from a Psychedelic sense and respect, he also does Keysi Fighting Method which is much reflected in the energy he brings as a Goa/Psy-trance producer. On the personal question of life, he replies; "Life... parts of life. Seen it all and tasted it beyond, both in light and darkness. Or at least that's how it feels sometimes. My music inside should show structures and integrity that views how I personally enjoy to present and listen to Psychedelic Trance Music. Life's been hard, and good. Early rough start creates kind of diamond, and I hope my space and place in the music manages to create divine listening dance experiences that I've also experienced, and still love a lot to this day. Always having peace, love, understanding, unity and respect inside beyond the cheese" He also states that a Record release is static, while with a Live performance anything is possible. That's where his music truly comes to life, while performing it Live with equipment and a crowd creating those extra sonic waves and dance. For some reminiscing of band names that Erland has been a part of, he shares from the top of his head; "Protc" (drums, prog. rock) that he played in while he was 12, and the other members was around 18. Krymznylt (rock, drums), Collective Angels (Jam/Impro), Silly Trilly (Tabla, percussion).. plus a lot more bands that came and went, and a lot of ambiance experimental projects with attention to interaction and details. |

Bei einem Casting im Jahre 2007 wurde Thomas auf die talentierte Janine Stadlik aufmerksam, die im Studio den Titel „Be my baby“ sang. Nach einer ersten Zusammenarbeit entstand die erste Veröffentlichung „The Annerly EP“ mit den Titeln „Be my Baby“, „Summer in your eyes“, „Take me to your heaven“ und „Maybe Maybe Maybe“. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Sistanagila | The Israeli and Iranian musicians living in Berlin are seeking dialogue with their project. The musicians demonstrate this dialogue in Sistanagila by approaching each other, listening to each other with curiosity and playing together. Carried by centuries-old Jewish and Iranian musical traditions, the musicians embark on a journey that ultimately leads them to themselves They make use of folkloristic and religious melodies from klezmer, Sephardic and traditional Persian music as well as modern and classical compositions. The different melodies and motifs, rearranged with influences ranging from flamenco and jazz to progressive metal, merge into music that creates something completely new and builds a bridge between two worlds. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Young Nations | Zosukuma Kunene | Born in exile October 15th, 1976 in London, UK, at the height of South Africa’s struggle against apartheid, Zosukuma a.k.a. Young Nations, the son of a liberation activist, grew up in South Central Los Angeles as a South African of Zulu descent. In 1989 Nations travelled to South Africa for the second time, a privilege not afforded to his father, who remained banned from returning to his country for over 35 years. Nations’ experience living in the heart of Guguletu Township in South Africa would later influence the development of the artist upon his return to Los Angeles. Traveling back to Los Angeles in 1991, by 1994 he had recorded his first professional compositions under the artist name “K.A.S.H.” (Kept in Africa’s Subliminal Hold), which gained some attention on the West Coast of California, enabling Nations to perform before thousands, opening for Ice Cube, Coolio, Zap & Roger, Rappin' 4Tay and the Lynch Mob in 1995. In June of 2003 Young Nations exploded onto the South African music scene with the ground breaking hit song, “Win”, a collaboration with performer and recording artist Che2ter of Sarafina and Yizo Yizo fame, followed with another collaboration entitled “Live My Life”, touching on the realities of life growing up in the townships. Signing with [l=Unreleased Records], Nations returned to the U.S. towards the end of 2003 to begin recording his debut album, “Nations Uprising” with Grammy nominated producer Megahertz, with [a=Draztik] handling the other half of the production, the album was licensed through [l=Gallo Record Company] and released in 2005. The albums first single "Mr. Hustla" was featured on YFM's "Life" Compilation, which was followed by his second single "Zwakala Emzansi", a collaboration with legendary recording artist [a=Ray Phiri]. Based out of Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, Young Nations released his sophomore offering "United States of Africa" on [l=Unreleased Records] in 2010. |
