Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 4 | Israel Fichman | Israel Fichman | Israel Fichman, was and still known because of a special small underground record shop in Bat-Yam called "Gingi Records" (which was originally started as a photography shop). In the early 90's, Trance and Techno music couldn't be found around Israel, expect 3 shops (2 other were in Tel Aviv), which brought this kind of stuff. The whole Israeli Trance scene was actually started in these places, where DJ's who came to get the usual 12" for their sets, could get these new sounds, which could be heard elsewhere. In fact, the first Israeli Trance compilation - "Trance Mix" was released on his home label called BMI, later changed to Melodia. Israel "Gingi" Fichman has passed away in November 2010 because of cardiac arrest. Hebrew: ישראל פיכמן |

| Search | Add | 4 | Tico Zamora | American guitarist, songwriter and producer, born in 1967 in Washington D.C., USA. Real name: Torcuato Zamora. Tico Zamora began playing guitar at an early age. Starting at the age of eight, he received daily guitar lessons from his father, Torcuato Zamora, Sr., an accomplished flamenco guitarist from Almeria, Spain. After five years of apprenticeship with his father, at age 13, the young Zamora bought his first electric guitar, a Fender Stratocaster. Zamora was greatly influenced by his older sister's record collection, which included bands such as Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles and Aerosmith. Through countless hours of playing along with and emulating what he heard on those seminal records, he discovered his passion for the electric guitar. Too young to play in nightclubs, his first performance was at a Battle of the Bands in a local Washington, D.C. area game room where he won the competition. Shortly thereafter, he was asked to join H.R. ("Human Rights"), fronted by Paul Hudson, lead singer of the influential hardcore punk band Bad Brains. This was 16-year-old Zamora's introduction to the world of punk rock. After touring and recording in the studio with H.R. for two years, H.R.'s former band, Bad Brains, went back into the studio with its original band members and released a new album, I Against I. In 1987, Zamora moved to Athens, Georgia to start a new band, Gypsy Cab Company, and immerse himself in the thriving alternative rock and new wave music scene. Two years later, Maureen Tucker, drummer for The Velvet Underground, asked Zamora to play guitar with her in the opening act for Lou Reed on his New York tour across the U.S. and Canada. In 1990, Zamora played guitar in Mo Tucker's band and toured throughout many cities in Europe, including Berlin, Germany, where Zamora lived from 1991 to 2009. In Berlin, Zamora set up a recording studio and played with and produced many bands, some of which were part of the exploding electropop/electroclash music scene occurring in Berlin in the early 2000s. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Rosborough | Glenn Rosborough | Glenn Rosborough is a singer songwriter from Derry, Northern Ireland. In a city steeped in music and performance he grew up in a household full of records that became his influences. “I started my musical life from a very early age, teaching myself guitar at the age of ten and writing songs from the year after. Growing up in a musical household, with childhood heroes such as Tom Waits, Kate Bush and Peter Gabriel, becoming a musician was not a destined path but as realistic a career as becoming a lawyer, plumber or doctor. My parents made sure of that.” Rosborough cut his teeth in the vibrant music scene in Derry, playing regular shows at Bennigan's and the Warehouse which allowed him to try new songs on an audience full of writers and performers. This cultural hub served him well, allowing him to cultivate and refine an album’s worth of songs that attracted the attention of Ignition Records to whom he signed in 2017. This year Glenn has been on tour both as a headline artist and supporting some great acts including The DMAs, Mew and Seafret throughout the UK and Europe. He has also appeared at festivals such as the Great Escape and Community Festival, showcasing new songs whilst building a great live reputation and loyal following. |

| Search | Add | 4 | Vinnie Vin | During the pop-rap boom of the late '80s/early '90s, Vinnie Vin had a brief run at the spotlight before dropping out of the music industry. Vin had a breezy approach to hip-hop, rapping about girls and parents with a likable, profanity-free personality. After signing to Starway in 1990, he cut The Show Must Go On with producer Charles "Poogie" Bell. The record made little impact, and Vin dropped out of the hip-hop scene soon after. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Geoffrey Wood | Geoffrey Wood is an American singer-songwriter and musician based in Atlanta. The son of two musicians, Geoffrey grew up in a musical household and received a trumpet on his 5th birthday. He began teaching himself guitar in middle school and writing songs of his own shortly thereafter. After studying trumpet in college he began working as a freelance musician and educator. In demand as a performer, composer and arranger he plays and writes for numerous groups in styles ranging from classical to jazz, funk and rock. While he was successfully creating music for other projects he found himself with a collection of material heavily influenced by some of the artists he grew up loving; Bob Dylan, The Band and Wilco. With no existing projects ready to cover that music, Geoffrey assembled a new band featuring Kelly McCarty on Bass, Rhett Huffman on Keys, Matt ‘Pistol’ Stoessel on Pedal Steel and Colin Agnew on Drums. Over three days in January of 2023 his first solo album, Thank You was recorded at La Gazza Studio in Madison, GA. Agnew also produced, engineered and mixed the record. Named in tribute to the people and places that inspired his music, Thank You is a musical expression of gratitude for the journey that he’s had so far. In January of 2024 Geoff began working on an EP set for release later this year. Again recording with Colin Agnew and kelly Mccarty, this new ep will feature some familiar sounding material as well as a departure from the style established on Thank You. Geoffrey’s music is available on all streaming platforms and live videos can be found on youtube. for booking inquiries contact gpwbooking@gmail.com. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Xaque | Diogo Santos, Lee Miranda, Tony Cirne, Peter Cabrita, Pedro da Costa, Burt Fernandes, William Condesso | Xaque” pronounced (shock) is a Luso-American band from the New Jersey / Philadelphia area. The Portuguese word Xaque means “Checkmate”. Formed in 1992 when a few friends and original members of the band Xaque, met to record a few songs while experimenting with new recording equipment. Within months they found themselves expressing their Western European musical roots and sharing tales of heroes and heritage. Full of vigor and inspiration, they enthusiastically continued to record and draw together individuals with similar aspirations to contribute to their projects. In the summer of 1994, a vision and conviction had emerged. And as they say; the rest is history. XAQUE’S debut recording, "EVOLUÇÃO", released in 1995 was the result of their journey in the recording studio. As sons of first generation Portuguese immigrants, the undertone was to convey social awareness, political upheaval and fond remembrance of their founding fathers. Shortly after the release of "EVOLUÇÃO", XAQUE performed in various concerts in the United States with well-established performers from Portugal. XAQUE proved their worth when they took center stage at the Portuguese American Heritage Concert at the TRUMP TAJ MAHAL (Atlantic City NJ). Sharing the stage with XAQUE was [a661010], [a767164], [a1474205] and Fernando Pereira. Shortly thereafter XAQUE joined [a125903] for a three concert series of LOUD MUSIC and FUN in New Jersey. XAQUE remains the only US based band to have performed in concert with Portuguese artists of this magnitude… Having fostered a relationship with [a661010], XAQUE believed his collaboration on their recordings would bring more awareness to their project. In the Winter of 1996 Rui Veloso returned to the United States to participate. Today XAQUE find themselves survivors of life’s challenges, and on October 15th of 2002, the anticipation ends. Xaque will release their much-anticipated follow up CD to EVOLUCAO UNPLUGGED titled ALMA NUA. Xaque's "Herói do Mar - Unplugged" was nominated for the 2013 IPMA awards for best Rock Song. |
