Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Irwin Alan Field | Irwin Fenster | Born in Brooklyn, New York, as Irwin Fenster, Irwin (died, March 22nd 2023 at the age of 89) arrived in Baltimore back in the 1950's when most radio stations were still playing Bing Crosby and Rosemary Clooney. But the thinkers at WCAO obstinately embraced Little Richard and Elvis Presley and The Shirelles. For roughly WCAO cornered the market among young listeners. You could walk down any street in the metro area and hear mothers hollering at their teenage kids, “Turn down that noise!” The mothers wondered why the radio was playing Jerry Lee Lewis instead of Patti Page. Radio personality with over 5 decades on the air in Baltimore including 12 years during the glory years of WCAO, then stints with WAYE, WITH, WMAR-FM. Alan also wrote music and/or produced records by local groups including Brenda & the Sentries (Bee Records), Donna Marie (Decca), Jimmy Jordan (20th Fox), The Tangiers & The Jetsons Band. He also wrote the "Run Right to Reads" commercial as recorded by Froggy & the Gremlins. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Chap One | Sam McNulty | Keeping music alive has been given new meaning - Despite the unfortunate passing of the truly gifted, multi-talented, producer and emcee - Sam McNulty aka Chap One, we are very lucky to have his music available for us to enjoy. Chris McNulty Sam’s mother is keeping her sons memory and music alive by releasing and promoting his music. Samuel McNulty aka Chap One was born in Sydney, Australia in 1981. In 1988, at age 7, he traveled with his mother to NYC and was raised in NYC through 1999. He returned to Australia at age 19, traveling back and forth between Melbourne and NYC throughout his life. Although Chap One's music clearly has its roots firmly planted in the hip hop genre, he was introduced to many different styles of music as a child growing up between cultures and across borders. His musical lineage was stronger than most, having a mother, father and step father as accomplished, internationally recognized, jazz musicians. As a result, Chap One had musical finesse running through his veins. Growing up surrounded by jazz legends, in the birth place of Hip Hop culture, he re-defined the boundaries of Hip Hop, Jazz, and RnB to masterfully craft a hybrid style reflective of his roots, and uniquely his own. “Sam had a vision for the world. It speaks powerfully through his music, his lyric, his melody, his rap, his poetry. It was louder than the voice he spoke with off the band stand because although his spirit was powerful and magnetic, he was also the softest, gentlest, most compassionate spirit I ever met in my entire life.” Chris McNulty states. “Stanger Frequencies” is a representation of Chap One and his soul. Musically it is the epitome of R&B, and jazz inspired hip-hop that is groovy and catchy enough for any music fan to embrace. However, it’s also authentically live sounding and improvisational for any jazz-heavy folks to dig as well. Lyrically, Sam flows deliciously through metaphorical “interpretations of life,” often expressing his discontent, dropping knowledge on the injustice in the world, but always through a positive lens. It’s just pure, healthy, beautiful music for all. To date Chris McNulty has released 3 albums of Chap Ones music with Strange Frequencies being largely funded by generous donors who made the mastering, artwork, and pressing of the physical copies. Be sure that there's a lot more to come and a lot more to say, from artists, jazz musicians, friends and colleagues, who worked, knew and loved Sam - The Chappy - Chap One. The first songs were still very experimental and were created during their discovery process. Nevertheless, they decided to release them as an EP. They have since been back in the studio | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Aramansa Brew | Ginger Aramansa Brew | Ginger "Aramansa" Brew was born into a family of artist, her father was a writer and a poet and was also a diplomat (Ambassador of Ghana). Third out of three daughters, at the tender age of six months, she started traveling the world over with her parents on their mission representing Ghana from one country to the other (U.S.A., Great Britain, Mexico, Lebanon etc...) All of this not only served to enlighten her in her school education, but also taught her to embrace worlds of different races, cultures and traditions, which today has influenced her choice, tastes and love for music. Thanks to her parents she grew up listening jazz, soul, r&b, gospel and basically learned to sing way before she could talk. As a soloist she has recorded a number of singles for various recording studios both in and outside of Italy, where she resides. She has had the opportunity to work with several artists including Paolo Conte with whom she still collaborates and Mariah Carey doing tracking vocals. In this new project in collaboration with [a=Mahjong], she is expressing that part of her nature which is indeed multicultural, trying at the same time not to forget her roots. But feeling the need to add a pinch of jazz, a sprinkle of afro and a little bit of this, that and the other. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Rouge Brulé | The band/project Rouge Brulé can be defined as experimental, avant garde free form jazz and minimal cosmic psychedelia. Rouge Brulé tries to push the boundaries and explores new scapes, incorporating granular techniques and improvisation. Free form with no set structure or pre-determined chord progressions, allowing for complete creative freedom. This is Minimal cosmic music with simple, repetitive rhythms and patterns, relying on a stripped-down instrumentation. They incorporates elements of space and synthetic sounds, creating a surreal, otherworldly experience. Infused with elements of psychedelia and incorporating trippy soundscapes and mind-challenging textures. This is repetition with subtle changes and synthetic drones. These become a mass of sound, motion and vibration. | |

She played a headline show at Dublin's Pepper Canister Church on March 5th 2020 (a week before lockdown), and was joined on the night by some very special guests: Stephen Shannon, Liam Ó'Maonlaí, Lōwli, Gareth Quinn Redmond & Ronán Conroy. What ensued was a lot of improv ("unforgettable ... improvisation of the highest calibre" - Broadsheet.ie), between musicians playing with one another mostly for the first time. The concert was recorded, mixed and mastered by Adam KJ, and Úna & Adam co-produced. In June 2021 she founded UKM, a record label, and a Limited Edition Vinyl Pressing of ‘Collaborations’ is now available. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Mauro Bolognini | Mauro Bolognini (28 June 1922 - 14 May 2001) was an Italian film director of literate sensibility, known for masterful handling of period subject matter. Mauro Bolognini was born in Pistoia, Tuscany. A former architectural student, Bolognini began his film career as an assistant to director Luigi Zampa in Italy, and directors Yves Allegret and Jean Delannoy in France. He began directing his own feature films in the mid 1950s, and had his first international success with Gli innamorati ("Wild Love"). His other notable films of the 1950s and early 1960s include Giovani mariti ("Young Husbands"), La notte brava, La giornata balorda ("From a Roman Balcony"), and the Marcello Mastroianni-Claudia Cardinale starrer Il bell'Antonio (arguably his masterpiece), all written by Pier Paolo Pasolini. Parting professionally with Pasolini in 1961, Bolognini went on to direct two sensual love stories starring Cardinale, La Viaccia and Senilità, before turning his talents to a series of international anthology films, including Le bambole (The Dolls), I tre volti ("Three Faces of a Woman"), Le fate ("The Queens") and Le streghe (The Witches). | |

| Search | Add | 3 | FeedForward | The Dutch Progressive Metal band FeedForward has been since 2002, and found its own unique style. This style can best be defined as a mix between progressive rock and melodic metal. However, no classical voice parts, no bombastic choirs. Instead, recognizable vocals and subdued harmonies. Instrumentally, the melodic base is broadened by influences from progressive metal and symphonic rock. In spite of the high level of musicianship and sometimes complex song arrangements, the songs are accessible for a large audience. Key roll in this is female vocalist Bianca. With her clear voice she speaks to the attention of a lot of people, also those which are not familiar with the genre. Having released 3 demo's, FeedForward has managed to build up a considerable fanbase in the south of the Netherlands. This shows by the concerts, with the number of visitors steadily increasing every time. FeedForward played many gigs in the past years, with especially worth mentioning gigs in large venues like 013, the Effenaar, the Bosuil (support for Enchant), Todo (support for The Gathering), the Dynamo and at festivals like Paaspop Den Hout, Kempenerpop, All American Day and Cult & Tumult. FeedForward released a full length CD containing 10 songs in december 2006, titled "Barefoot & Naked". This CD shows the many sides of FeedFoward's music. "Barefoot & Naked" contains catchy rock songs, progressive pieces, pounding metal, but also epic songs and even a piano ballad. Two years later, singer Biejanka decides to move to Finland and leaves the band. Drummer Pi suffers an accident and cannot play for a while, but the band does not give up. After struggling to find a male singer, they run into Patrice and decide to go with a female vocalist again. This results in a new album, Upstream, released in December 2011. Feedforwards on-stage performance full of energy and intensity accentuates the power of the songs. The authenticity makes them credible..............A band appreciated for their music! | |

In 2006, a line-up change saw Daniel Edwards join the band, a change that added some musical capability to the band- although critics have staunchly argued this claim. Daniel writes songs of love and loss, of heart and of hope, using an acoustic guitar, a harmonica and a mumbled voice on a cheap microphone. The project is now stalled, but [a=The Clouded Alps] came to fill in the void.

Bio: Electronic Musician, Independent Filmmaker, AV Artist and owner of street fashion brand ELECTROPUNK DEZiGN. Alexei De Bronhe is a Minsk-based music producer and video artist from Belarus. Participant of many international music, film and media festivals, Alexei has represented his native country at numerous events in Italy, Germany, Lithuania, Poland, Latvia, and Estonia, such as: Reeperbahn Fest (Hamburg, Germany), Loftas Fest (Vilnius), Seazone Music Sopot Conference (Poland), Rugstynes Fest (Vilnius), Vilnius Music Week Festival (Lithuania), Mental Force Festival (Minsk, with Monolake and Tarik Barri), Tallinn Music Week Festival (Estonia), Live Cinema Festival (Rome, Italy), Underground Independent Festival (Białystok, Poland), CENTRAS International Multimedia Art & Music Festival (Kaunas, Lithuania), LPM IX (Rome, Italy). When it comes to his musical performances, ADB plays strictly live on a hardware sampler groovebox Yamaha RS-7000 – a discontinued workstation that has 64 MB of memory and a built-in synthesis engine. He played a live set at the ‘Analog Techno’ stage of a big 7-dancefloor festival RŪGŠTYNĖS in Vilnius, Lithuania and later on the main stage of a big rave ‘VOSHOD'. His live sets are full of expression and improvisation and can be flexibly adapted to an event/location: he can either make everyone dance with his unique hybrid of bass, juke, techno, house, electro, and footwork, or play light relaxing chillout if needs be. As audio-visual producer, Alexei composes music for short films and shoots commercials. Alexei has shot in Berlin a 45-minute long futuristic techno drama “Laserlove Townsheeps” — a black & white experimental movie in psychogeographic aesthetics, featuring actors from Japan and Australia. Montage of “Laserlove Townsheeps” occurs in real time — which makes it belong to a new genre of “live cinema”. Special for a movie, Alexei has written a techno soundtrack, which is played live. The film was premiered at Live Cinema Festival in Rome, and later in Minsk at Mental Force Festival, an event dedicated to audio-visual art — where among other participants was a well-known German artist and creator of Ableton Live — Robert Henke ‘Monolake’.

Some commercial work was done then as well, but sadly none of the games reached completion as the game developer folded! The music is alternative or experimental but ranges across the full spectrum of music styles, sometimes within the very same song, whatever the styles it's certainly not your typical mainstream music. |
