Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Julielle | Giulia is a self-taught musician, born in ’94. She has a dog named Elle and started playing at 10. Her music is the result of a path alternated between the electronic music of rave parties, her passion for Edith Piaf and the moving poetry she inherited from her Neapolitan origins. Passionate about 00s and 10s electronic music (Son Lux, Flume, Bonobo) she cultivates since childhood her unconditional love for pop music and the Beatles. All of this merges in her new music project, Julielle, in which she portraits in music the emotions written in poems. Her first single is “Toys”, produced by GODBLESSCOMPUTERs. The second single is called “aliens and flowers”, produced by inude. In autumn she’ll release her first EP. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | SL'S3 | SL'S3 is a neo crust, emotive hardcore band that formed in A Coruña harbor city of Spain in 2000. Members are from neo crust band [a1418979] and grind core band [a747560]. They broke up like burning out after releasing 6 songs demo in 2003, and the 10” album “Con La Venda Hacia La Pared.” The members are doing great in Blunt and Hongo and they’re deeply involved in the scene. SL’S3 hasn’t receive any recognition for some reason, and no one knows a lot about it, however its sound was a cross over of neo crust and post punk, moreover brought up a new possibility of the scene. This “Con La Venda Hacia La Pared”, which they consolidated its originality in, has been discontinued for a long time after they stopped, is being released as an official renewed CD. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Lou Rose | Bred in the streets of Oakland - California, Lou Rose inherited a unique swag, which is translated to his deep passion for music. Lou Rose at 12 years old was strongly influenced by many artists from all types of genres throughout different generations including urban artists/groups and lyricists such as the late Tupac Shakur, Notorious B.I.G., Outkast, Too Short, Three 6 Mafia, R. Kelly, Jamie Foxx, New Edition, Guy, Jackson 5 just to name a few. However, it was not until he partnered up with a group of friends as a rap rookie in the late 1990’s that he finally got to showcase his rap skills which helped spawned his creativity in Hip Hop and R&B/Rap and continue to pursue his addiction for music. While never giving up on the American Dream, the young rapper then delivered his first local club hit track “Long Island Ice Tea” in summer of 2006 and composed numerous mix tapes. Late summer of 2009, he then dropped his debut album “Evolution” which gained underground access to help reach his first major music milestone. April 2011, he then dropped “FREEWORLD” with guest on Over Night Celebrity stating the album as “..Lou Rose is the new bay sound!” while later releasing “Color Me Bad” in September 2011 and is currently working on another album titled, “Love & Loyalty” which will release some time early in the new year. As CEO and founder of Global 1 Music Group, the young entrepreneur successfully bridges an exclusive deal with UrbanLife and AWAL Distribution with one goal in mind, to deliver his music across the globe. | |

After being together for five years, the band is now releasing their first cd/ep -"I´ll shock you tomorrow "- with the songs Bottom Sun , Raisin , Selfish and Under Water Breathing through a tube. The EP title refers to the current trend in heavy music : the musical part is left aside on behalf of the image-... We, however, don´t look like rockers, that´s not our intention ...We dress up and look like the way we are, but you never know about the future so maybe.. I´ll shock you tomorrow . | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Robert Burton Hubele | Hubele is the oldest of eight children, raised in the prairies of southern Alberta, Canada. At 14 he worked at a steel mill and then became a heavy equipment operator. At 21 he wrote his first song. Hubele’s music is original jazz and blues. He plays slide dobro and acoustic and electric guitar. Hubele’s warm, deep dynamic voice and polished delivery of originals and standards enthrall his audiences. He performs solo, as a duo or trio, or in front of a big band. Hubele’s world view is that love and harmony are all. Writing songs and giving concerts are Hubele’s form of procreation - leaving a mark on the world - causing people to see their lives in a new, more harmonious light. And it is not always the big things in life that are the most important. Hubele writes about the little things that make a difference. Hubele is entirely self-taught. His love for the blues started with listening to popular music on the radio as a teen. What caught his ear was Eric Burden’s ‘House of the Rising Sun’. He had no idea that it was the blues, but he just had to learn to play that song. His friend Butch, a redcap and co-worker at the Canadian Pacific Railroad, offered to loan him his electric guitar and amplifier and teach him how to play. Hubele became fascinated with the earthy beat and emotional impact of the blues. He began listening to, and playing along with, B.B. King, Howlin’ Wolf, Willie Dixon, Muddy Waters, and Freddie and Albert King. Hubele’s introduction to jazz was through Chuck Tracy, a hard-core lounge musician and a really funny guy who was Hubele’s roomate for a while. In listening to him rehearse and perform, he got turned onto the music of Tom Waits, Mose Allison and Fats Waller. He also listened to Bing Crosby, Dean Martin, Benny Goodman and - especially- Cab Calloway and Louis Jordan. There is also a touch of country in Hubele’s music from growing up on the prairies on the fringe of Calgary, where music by Hank Williams, Hank Snow, and Marty Robbins was the background of his life. Hubele’s interest in slide dobro came when he first heard Bonnie Raitt in the early 70s, and he had to learn how to make that ‘slidey’ sound. She had learned to play slide from Mississippi Fred McDowell. Hubele figured out how to tune his guitar to slide tuning, and eventually he got the hang of it. Hubele writes when the song comes to him, about one each month. It takes one-half to two hours to write a song. The best ones often come the fastest. Polishing and learning a song takes about a couple of weeks. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Grier Edward Carson | Grier Carson | Sampling has facilitated a true paradigm shift in the modern musical experience. Like photography did for the visual arts, the technological phenomenon of recordable sound and its application as a principle unit for composition fundamentally alters our experience with music in that it makes concrete what was once ephemeral and temporal. A performance art made plastic, music may now explore the dynamic extremes and subjective anxiety consistent with a cacophonous landscape. Musicians can now bypass the limitations of note-based/rhythm-based composition, rooted in the logistical constraints of performance and interpretation, and create works expressly designed for repeated listening, like sculpture which benefits from prolonged and repeated examination. This is the perspective that informs the production of all GEC music. |
