Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | FlyByWire | After the summer of 2009, Phoenix (vocals, rap) decided to create a Greek Rap Rock band with elements of rap, alternative rock and nu metal. The original core of the band, was formed by Phoenix and Dj Technician (turntables, samples), former members of a hip-hop group Sticheia, along with Bill (drums) and Lo-Fi (bass guitar), previous members of a rapcore group «X-Babylon." They had been all brought together in past in a band known as «Group Therapy». This is how FlyByWire (FBYW) began, and the arrival of G-Kid (guitar) in November 2009 completed the band. During the summer of 2010 they started their first live performances and within a year participated in over 30 concerts in Athens and Cyprus. They have appeared in various Festivals such as (B-fest, Agia Napa Youth Festival, Island of Dreams, BandAges, Ziria Music Festival, Atlantis, Athens Hip-Hop Festival, European Music Day, etc.) and music bars such as: (KooKoo, Oxygono, Passport, Bios, AN Club, Seven Sins, Bad City, etc.) with artists: (Socrates Malamas, Kazoulis Vasillis, Georgia Kefalas) and music bands: (Locomondo, Ble, Magic de Spell, Rodes, Artemis- Efthimis, Giants, Trendy Hooliguns, Furror, Musica Ficta, Looming Titties etc.) Their first DEMO CD released in 2010 included 4 songs and was distributed for free at their live performances and radio stations in Athens and counties of Greece for promotional purposes. Two of those songs that stood out and remained high in the charts where Mi anastrepsimos “Irreversible” and X-isosi “Equation". Their first full length album X-isosi released in April 2012 by the independent music label Ixotron Spinners with 8 tracks, an intro outro and some interludes. They have made appearances and played live music in television shows such as, Radio Arvila ANT1, ESC ET1, and on radio, More Radio. They have also given interviews to radio stations (Atlantis Fm, Mind Radio, Rock Fm, Contact, etc.) and have co worked either in the form of sponsorship communication or interviews, with magazines and e-magazines like (Rock Hard, Metropolis, Rock Way , hiphop.gr, bouriblog.com, musicmash.gr, metalhead.gr, hqm.gr, rockoverdose.gr, hiphopmusical.eu, rockap.gr etc.)

Search | Add | 3 | Chartered Hurricane | Chartered Hurricane was a NWOBHM duo consisting of Phil and Mark Jones that gigged consistently and built up a large following in the Newport Gwent area of Wales in the early 80's. The band formed in 1981 and released this one very scarce single (originally housed in a stamped sleeve) in 1983. The A side "Cathy Come Home" is a great pop song while the B side, "All Smashed Up", is more appealing to NWOBHM collector types. The band eventually grew to a five piece adding Mike Ward on bass, Terry (TNT) Thomas on drums and Robert Millar on guitar. After several failed attempts to break it big in London they split in 1984. Phil Jones subsequently formed the band [a2051223]. In 2013, Mark and Phil began working together on new and original Chartered Hurricane songs with the potential of an eventual album release and performed live again on December 13th, 2014. The album 'Touch The Rocks' was released on 24 April 2021. Founding member [a3615255] died on 27th January 2019 (aged 59) and [a2051222] on 19th August 2020, shortly after completing his recordings for the album.

Search | Add | 3 | Julio Escalante | Porto based newcomer Julio Escalante, is a real passionist. Listening to Detroit's classic techno sounds all of his life, he suddenly discovered hidden abilities of creating his own music. Never learned, never even tried and never even had the interest of playing any instruments, he rapidly gained his knowledge of composing only using his computer, a controller and his Detroit influenced creative mind. He spends days and nights creating deeply detailed loops fitted under simply, yet melodic synths. Julio's musical career has just started, but may his music become big, he will always stay in the background...

Search | Add | 3 | Invaders From Sears | Invaders from Sears was originally conceived in 1986 as "a PIL-like synth duo" featuring local Westchester, NY freaks Bob of The Observation Deck Information and Adam of Thalidomide and the One-Armed Mongoloids. The pair produced three songs, now lost entirely, and that was almost it. Bob then holed himself away in his studio and churned out 2 full length solo albums, an ep and a rarities/greatest hits collection, all to be released on his small cassette label, odi, and picked up by famed Connecticut punk label [l=TPOS]. Fellow art students Elisa Flynn and Jeffre Dene joined in, and The Vaders became an actual live act, opening for hardcore bands in and around New England in the late 80s. Winning praise from Sonic Youth and Moby, The trio landed some choice gigs and had their tunes on the radio in several countries. Bob & Elisa then started a side project called [a=BunnyBrains] and the Vaders took a hiatus.

Search | Add | 3 | Anne Collingham | Anne Collingham was not a real person. It was made up by Tony Barrow in 1963 to help keep things simple at [l104714]. A variety of girls who worked at the fan club were used as 'Anne Collingham' for photos at the time. Tony Barrow wrote about this in the May 1983 issue of the Beatle Book Monthly: "I decided in June 1963 that the Club should have a Nation Secretary based in London at our Monmouth Street address. Until then, fans in the South had kept in touch through [a11055221] in Surrey whilst [a13414875] had looked after the top half of Britain from her NEMS office base in Liverpool. The name of the new National Secretary was given as 'Anne Collingham'. In fact, no such person ever existed. The 'Collingham' part came from part of my secretary's home address in Earls Court, and Anne was my wife's middle name. It wasn't done in order to deceive the fans. It was intended to be helpful. Clearly as the membership grew a full time office staff of clerks and helpers would be needed. There was little to be gained from confusing members by letter them receive replies from an assortment of people, especially as staff were coming and going all the time. So the simplest answer seemed to be to have Anne Collingham as the regular signature on all individual reply letters, on newsletters and on all the Club's printed stationery. There was another massive advantage. The press office and the Fan Club shared a single telephone number, COVent Garden 2332. As the publicity side of things became busier we were not only handling the Beatles but all the other NEMS acts ranging from Billy J. Kramer to Cilla Black. The telephone lines were being used more and more heavily. Therefore it was convenient to know at once if a caller wanted the press office or the Fan Club. If the caller asked or Anne Collingham, it was passed straight through to the right room to be handled quickly. Personal callers at 13 Monmouth Street always found themselves talking to come of Anne Collingham's assistants. Ms. Collingham herself seemed to eb permanently unavailable to meet her visiting members! The Fan club grew so fast that we took an extra floor of office space above the press office's suite of rooms. Here at least half a dozen full time workers coped with the mountains of mail. These peopel included Michael Crowther-Smith, tony Catchpole, Yvonne Sainsbury, Monica Stringer and Macy Cockram. By the end of 1963, Bettina Rose, the Surrey-based South of England Secretary, had been put on the full-time NEMS payroll and was working at at Monmouth Street as the colleague of 'Anne Collingham'. The two signed themselves as 'Joint National Secretaries of the Official Beatles Fan Club'. Bettina's physical appearance at Monmouth Street meant that at least one of the Club's chiefs was on hand to meet visitors in person."

Search | Add | 3 | Gerakan Pramuka | Pramuka | Gerakan Pramuka Indonesia (Indonesian Pramuka Movement) is the national scouting organization of Indonesia. Scouting was founded in the Dutch East Indies in 1912, and Indonesia became a member of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) in 1953. Its membership is compulsory for students.[1] It has 21,599,748 members (as of 2011),[2] making it the world's largest Scout association. Each year 14 August is celebrated as Pramuka Day to honour the organisation's first public parade in 1961, wherein independence hero Sultan Hamengkubuwono IX of Yogyakarta was appointed as the first Chief Scout of the GPI. With the 2013 education curriculum in effect, it is compulsory for all Indonesian students to join the scout movement as scouting is officially one of the study units in the curriculum. This contributes to the movement's recognition as the world's largest. The name Pramuka was derived from the acronym of "Praja muda karana", (Sanskrit: young people willing to work). Search | Add | 3 | Juan Pérez Rodriguez | Juan Pérez Rodríguez was born in Huelva in 1984. He is a flamenco pianist and composer and son of the great singer [a8499540]. His personal concern has led him to take an interest in other music, having graduated in classical music in Spain and Paris; and in jazz at Berklee College of Music (Boston, USA), after receiving a "full schollarship" scholarship, becoming the rare exception of a flamenco musician with a career in classical piano and a great Berklee degree. He has known how to incorporate the knowledge acquired in these musical fields into his flamenco roots, having enriched his sound, and developing a personal language always within the flamenco channels. Pérez Rodríguez has lived in Paris (2008/09) and in the United States (2010/2016). Now since 2016 he resides in Madrid where he combines his work as a musician inside and outside the country with teaching. Meanwhile, despite his young age, the young Huelva-born musician has played in theaters and festivals around the world, including the Flamenco Festival in New York and Chicago (USA), Qatar National Theater of Doha (Doha, Qatar), Teatro Masrah al Madina (Beirut, Lebanon), Maestranza Theater (Seville), BPC Theater (Boston, USA), Roulette Theater of Brooklyn (New York USA) Festival del Cante de las Minas (La Unión, Murcia, Birzeit University (Birzeit, Palestine) ), Boston Performance Center (Boston, USA), Baruch Concert Hall (Haifa, Palestine / Israel), Asunción Jazz Festival (Asunción, Paraguay), Cantabria Jazz Festival (Spain) Regarding his training, it should be noted that he has studied classical piano, in Huelva, Seville, and at the Conservatoire De Boulogne Billancourt (Paris, France), Baroque Organ and early music with the organist Andrés Cea. He studies jazz in a self-taught way, and later at the prestigious Berklee College of Music (Boston, USA) graduating in jazz piano and composition with the qualification "Summa Cum Laude", the highest qualification granted by American universities. He has recordings, Fabulare (2010) and Mosaico (2016), and has collaborated on numerous albums by flamenco jazz artists and other genres including Jorge Pardo's latest album "Djinn" (MIN 2017 award for best flamenco album).
