Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | Grupo Alaya | Music group from Bolivia (South America) created in 1984 in La Paz, Bolivia. The name of the group "Alaya" comes from the Aymara language which means "from above", with reference to artists living at 3,800 meters from the sea level. The musicians of the group live between Bolivia and France. In 26 years of career, 5 CDs have been produced, mainly Miguel Angel PUÑA's compositions, but also a few covers of traditional and popular Andean music. The characteristics of Grupo ALAYA's music are the links with nature and the cosmos. His music is the voice of the Altiplano and Lake Titicaca (the highest navigable lake in the world). It carries with it the melancholy of one of the poorest countries in the world that has endured four centuries of servitude, exploitation, oppression and political instability. It reflects the energy and love of a people who face their destiny without losing hope. It is the expression of the mystery of the mountains where lives El Condor, the king of birds. Grupo ALAYA wishes to promote Bolivian art which is based on a rich cultural heritage, with live events (music, song, dance ...) such as shows and animations. Participating in cultural exchanges between peoples makes it possible to affirm the personality and the soul of the Bolivian lifestyle. In a spirit of valorization and evolution of the Bolivian folklore, the group interprets different styles of music: - traditional music also called indigenous music, the one that comes from the Andean high plateau. It can be played at carnival time, but also during community celebrations. The composition of this ancestral music requires the intervention of wind instruments (sikus, zampoñas ..) and percussion (bombo ...) - contemporary city music, imbued with Spanish influence, particularly with stringed instruments such as the guitar. - modern music that retains traditional instrumentation and rhythm and uses Western instruments such as bass, drums or keyboards. All these reasons make Grupo ALAYA an ambassador of Bolivian culture.

Since the age of 17, he had only one passion, music. He was 23 when he arrived here and it didn't take long for him to make a name and a profession within the Super-Jets, one of the groups that this bassist and singer had founded in Majunga with his friends, the guitarist Anou Anoaraly, drummer Jean-Pierre Nativel, and pianist Ange Hoarau. To make a living from his art at that time, a musician had to spend his weekends playing to make the people of Reunion dance at the « Tout va bien » in the Ravine des Cabris, at the « Lotus Pavillon » in the Plaine des Cafres or at the « Moulin Rouge ».

Search | Add | 3 | Deformation Guaranteed | Deformation Guaranteed was founded in winter 2004 by Rune Tristanne (then under the name Nomis L.) as a personal solo project for experimental music. The musical influences come mainly from the post punk and death rock of the early 80s. Other important influences are Doom, Black metal, Dark Country and Industrial Metal. After two demos appeared in 2004 and 2007, the project initially disbanded. In 2013 two songs were recorded again. In 2019, Deformation Guaranteed was fully reactivated and the first album Pagan Girl was recorded in Tristanne's studio. Tristanne is the only fix Member, all other Past Members where just Session Members. Deformation Guaranteed stands for elven dark enchanted music with a sad dreamy view of this world.

Search | Add | 3 | Romeo Z | A six man group who recorded in the 1960s. At one stage they were the resident band at London's Chi-Chi club. They also played at the Pickwick club. They were a diverse group with members hailing from Trinidad, Spain, Ghana and Dominica. The group consisted of [a790921] ( aka Eric Allandale) on trombone, [a531817] on bass, Stan Charman the group leader (brother of Clive), Erwin Clement on drums, Eddie Cuansa on trumpet, and [a10831735] (aka Jerry Elbows) on conga and vocals. One night [a1588323] and [a59655] had stopped off at the Chi-Chi club. They were discussing the issue of needing a highly switched on song for an "intensely switched on movie". Romeo Z were playing at the time and after hearing the group Fantoni and Myers knew they had what they wanted. The 1966 film Kaleidoscope which was directed by Jack Smight, starred [a499264] and Susannah York. Fantoni and Myers composed the song " Kaleidoscope" which was recorded by Romeo Z. It was sent out as a single-sided demo disc that year. It appears to feature Allendale on vocals. The song also appears on the [m=528276] soundtrack. In March, 1967, a single, "Come Back, Baby Come Back" bw "Since My Baby Said Goodbye" was released on CBS. The A side was composed by Stan & Clive Charman, Eric Allendale and Jerry Elboz, and the B side by Stan Charman and Eric Allendale. Allendale would go on to be a member of a group which evolved out of The Ramong sound, soul group, [a240895]. And before the year was out, The Foundations had released "[m=109982]".

Search | Add | 3 | Divine Profitz | Divine Profitz are a Hip Hop crew from Richmond, Virginia, USA, formed in 1994. The group had four original members, but the roster has changed over the years. The only original member and founder left is [a4012380]. One other original MC is now the crews DJ (DJ Yes). The other MCs are now [a4012378], [a4012383], [a4012376] and [a4012371]. Divine Profitz are a hip-hop group based in Richmond, VA. Originally formed in Lynchburg, Virginia in 1996, the group developed a solid local following before relocating to Richmond in 2000. Divine has constantly been "on the grind," making over 10 albums in 10 years (5 tapes, 5 CDs). Over the past 5 years they performed live throughout the mid-Atlantic region, steadily increasing their fanbase. Opening for acts such as 2 Live Crew, Killah Priest (Wu-tang fam), Heltah Skeltah (Boot Camp), and Wordsworth (among others), Divine has gained respect from every artist they opened for. The main producer for Divine P. is "Chadrach," who is also the creator of the group. Divine's roster has changed over the years, with the exception of Chadrach. "The original emcees in the group were Big Rod, Chadrach, Yes, Lil' Jus, and Freddy Manson. The emcees now are Chadrach, BeenOfficial, CP, Cosmos, and Ran. Yes is now the DJ. Emcees have come and gone, but everybody is still in the "group." Divine is like a family. It's more than music. We've got people in Divine that don't even make music: ESPY, Trail, Big Chris, B Wilson, and mad otha cats make up Divine. We make music for the people, not for commercial reasons. If we make music, it's for the love of hip hop. We aren't selling anything but ideas."
