Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024
Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | Jahiti | I. Smith | Jahiti is a singer/songwriter based in Baltimore, MD. As part of Baltimore’s legendary group, Brown FISH, and as a solo artist he has performed throughout the US, Canada and Jamaica for the past 15 years. Bringing his own brand of roots, reggae and soul, Jahiti continues to build his solo legacy while remaining close to the spirit of the Brown FISH name. As a founding member of Brown FISH, Jahiti was a core part of the group’s unique “hip-hop meets reggae” signature sound. Part of their particular magic was each member’s ability to perform as individuals as well as being able to come together cohesively as a group. This can be witnessed in their three underground mixtapes, Bootleg I, II, and III released from 2000-2008. Each member (OOH, B-FLY, Vertex and P-EYE) has gone on to have celebrated solo careers in music, production, book publishing, art and community outreach through the arts. In August of 2003, Brown FISH Music released Jahiti’s first solo project “FISH Bowl (The People’s Album).” Co-produced by in-house producer and Brown FISH member Vertex, this project would start Jahiti down the path of becoming a prominent voice among songwriters and performers in Baltimore and the DMV area. Songs like “FISH Bowl,” “I Do,” “Roses” and “Dangerous” would allow him to grow from a child of Caribbean immigrants to a man molded by the beauty of Baltimore. Other songs such as “Hello,” “Keep On Keepin On” and “Jahiti Goodbye” display his passion for his community, his ability to persevere and his capacity to give and share love. In August of 2010, the 7-year anniversary edition of the album, “FISH Bowl,” was released. This new version of the project would replace guest interviews from other artists and add 4 new songs. The most-noted new tracks were “Old Love” ft. Maimouna Youssef and “Keep Cool” by Marcus Garvey. In June 2012, Jahiti and Kier Johnson of Purple Honey Music and Entertainment would team up to co-produce Jahiti’s second release “IS.” Unlike FISH Bowl, this project was not produced using a variety of tracks or pre-recorded sounds but instead was produced 100% using live instruments. It’s while listening to “IS” that you can begin to hear the emergence of Jahiti as a matured and refined singer/songwriter. Within this album you can hear the emergence of his unique music blend. Songs like “Once Again,” “World is Changing” & “Bridge Over Troubled Waters” introduce you to the tones and lyrics of country music. “Give with My Heart” brings you that world music feel as it is reminiscent of his West Indian heritage. And in songs like “10 O’clock” and “Edge,” you are treated to that “soul rock” feel that brings his music genre full circle. The project also includes the non-video version of “Daughter of The Most High”. His recent album, “Manifest” was released on the artist’s birthday, February 8, 2014. “Manifest” ushers in a complete vision of Jahiti’s sound. This project stands out because of the extensive resources coordinated to produce a more polished and robust album. “Manifest” contains thirteen tracks nine of which were co-produced by Mo-Rece of Stinkiface Studio, two by Kariz of Kariz World Studio, and two by Jahiti. The album includes three previously recorded songs- “Murder,” “Show Me the Money” & “Daughter of the Most High.” (This new recording of “Daughter of The Most High” would be the version used for the official music video.) The album starts off with an explosion of world music with the upbeat sound of “Come Like Love”. Other singles such as “I Really” and “Love of Mine” showcases Jahiti’s ability to write powerful and memorable love songs. Other standout tracks (“Movie Star,” “Woke Up/Pray for Me” and “Over Now”) gets the listener fully invested in the “World Country Soul” sound. In the end, “Manifest” succeeds in masterfully delivering stories of love and social commentary told simply using lyrics set to acoustic guitar driven sounds. As an artist, Jahiti isn’t just about the music. A former educator, community organizer and youth advocate, Jahiti has dedicated himself to the Baltimore community and continues to share his talents and passion to other communities that reflect similar challenges. Whether it’s marching in the streets to end domestic violence, reading and singing to a 1st grade class or performing in the prisons, he is committed to using his celebrity and talent to making a difference in the world. With a musical style described as a mix between Johnny Cash, Bob Marley, Richie Havens and Bob Dylan we encourage you to find out for yourself. |

Search | Add | 3 | Miss High Heel | Miss High Heel was founded in Chicago, Illinois in late 1995 by James Marlon Magas, Tom Smith, and Christopher Walter ([a216186]). Joining the no-everything troika were Azita Youseffi, Jim O'Rourke, Jodie Baltazar (Jodie McCann, [a869858]), Chuck Falzone, and Bill Pisarri, Mike Green (Wyfe, Her Hair Jelly, etc.), and Nándor Névai. They recorded one radio session (at [url=https://www.discogs.com/label/596895-WZRD-FM-883-Chicago]WZRD-FM[/url]), performed one live performance (at the Magnatroid, New Year's Eve '95), and spent three months recording, mixing, and remixing "The Family's Hot Daughter", an album that was to have been issued by [l33275]. When that label lost an important domestic distribution deal, funding for the MHH collection vanished, and the project was shelved. Tiny noise indie [url=https://www.discogs.com/label/1707237-Billy-Sides]B.Sides[/url] (now known as No Sides) released a lone radio session, but the recordings ultimately displeased the group's principals. After 11 years, the original "The Family's Hot Daughter" mixes, long vouchsafed within Tom Smith's personal archive, were finally unearthed in 2006. [a319782] of Blossoming Noise heard five minutes of unedited roughs during a dinner party and quickly struck a deal. Upon release of the album, Miss High Heel clarified in a letter to the editor that the group was "designed to exist as a theoretical unit, and sunder at an appropriate moment. The only impediment to the completion of that goal was the collapse of the album release on Skin Graft." Performers: James Marlon Magas: voice Christopher Walter ([a216186]): drums, bass clarinet Azita Youseffi: synthesizer Jim O'Rourke: bass guitar, trumpet, synthesizer Jodie Baltazar (Jodie McCann, [a869858]): voice Chuck Falzone: bass guitar (live only) Bill Pisarri: clarinet, bass guitar (studio only) Nándor Névai: voice Mike Green: compere, hermeneutics Tom Smith: voice, black metal tape edits, mix, production

Search | Add | 3 | Robert Burton Hubele | Hubele is the oldest of eight children, raised in the prairies of southern Alberta, Canada. At 14 he worked at a steel mill and then became a heavy equipment operator. At 21 he wrote his first song. Hubele’s music is original jazz and blues. He plays slide dobro and acoustic and electric guitar. Hubele’s warm, deep dynamic voice and polished delivery of originals and standards enthrall his audiences. He performs solo, as a duo or trio, or in front of a big band. Hubele’s world view is that love and harmony are all. Writing songs and giving concerts are Hubele’s form of procreation - leaving a mark on the world - causing people to see their lives in a new, more harmonious light. And it is not always the big things in life that are the most important. Hubele writes about the little things that make a difference. Hubele is entirely self-taught. His love for the blues started with listening to popular music on the radio as a teen. What caught his ear was Eric Burden’s ‘House of the Rising Sun’. He had no idea that it was the blues, but he just had to learn to play that song. His friend Butch, a redcap and co-worker at the Canadian Pacific Railroad, offered to loan him his electric guitar and amplifier and teach him how to play. Hubele became fascinated with the earthy beat and emotional impact of the blues. He began listening to, and playing along with, B.B. King, Howlin’ Wolf, Willie Dixon, Muddy Waters, and Freddie and Albert King. Hubele’s introduction to jazz was through Chuck Tracy, a hard-core lounge musician and a really funny guy who was Hubele’s roomate for a while. In listening to him rehearse and perform, he got turned onto the music of Tom Waits, Mose Allison and Fats Waller. He also listened to Bing Crosby, Dean Martin, Benny Goodman and - especially- Cab Calloway and Louis Jordan. There is also a touch of country in Hubele’s music from growing up on the prairies on the fringe of Calgary, where music by Hank Williams, Hank Snow, and Marty Robbins was the background of his life. Hubele’s interest in slide dobro came when he first heard Bonnie Raitt in the early 70s, and he had to learn how to make that ‘slidey’ sound. She had learned to play slide from Mississippi Fred McDowell. Hubele figured out how to tune his guitar to slide tuning, and eventually he got the hang of it. Hubele writes when the song comes to him, about one each month. It takes one-half to two hours to write a song. The best ones often come the fastest. Polishing and learning a song takes about a couple of weeks.

Search | Add | 3 | Tech1ne | Anglogallos Michail | Tech1ne (a.k.a. Agglogallos Michail) made his debut in his hometown of Athens early in 2011, captivating crowds with his own unique blend of seductive techno, minimal, and tech house rhythms. Through hard work and dedication fueled by passion, Tech1ne quickly established himself as a staple in clubs throughout Greece starting from the legendary dance floors of Luv, Fuzz and Maze to those of the currently celebrated Steam and Six d.o.g.s. Steadily infiltrating the scene, it wasn’t long before Mike became close friends with Greek producer and pioneer Mikee, and the two went on to open their own record label under the name “Deep Phase”, working with some of the hottest names in the Techno and Tech house scene, such as Stefano Noferini, Hector, Sasha Carassi , D Unity , Fabio Florido to name a few. As a talented producer and selector himself, Tech1ne delivers nothing less than primal energy through his sets, infused with seductive beats that keep audiences literally... on their toes. Tech1ne is now a regular resident at the monthly anticipated Deep Phase nights, having played alongside Raffa Barrios , Alberto Ruiz , D Deck , Matt Sassari , D-Unity , Danniel Selfmade , Dema, Marina Karamarko, Leonardo Gonnelli and Dani Sbert. Continuously producing quality music inspired by deep inner thoughts, Tech1ne already has releases on various labels under his belt including Async Records, Gastpiel Records, Tech You Very Much! , Select Case and Bompi-Hani Recordings. And with tracks supported by the likes of Joseph Capriati, Marco Carola, Monika Kruse, Luigi Madonna, Stacey Pullen, Marko Nastic, Alexi Delano, Dennis Cruz, D- Formation, David Herrero, Stefano Kosa, Ilario Alicante, Paco Osuna, Franz Costa, Someone Else, Jamie Jones, Stiv Hey, Markantonio, Tom Hades, Outway, Neverdogs and Maceo Plex... today marks only the start of a very bright future for the Athenian producer. |

Search | Add | 3 | Crabnebula | Crabnebula starts composing in 2002 and his first EP, the "Rouge EP" includes collaborations with Cpt and Mantell (lyrics and voice). Time goes by, and rough guitars and drums slowly create the music of "The Great Sleep", a release published by the Russian netlabel "Qulture Production". Different periods but similar feeling and emotion, thinking about distances and waiting for life signs...with "Outlander", again published by "Qulture Production", Crabnebula starts his experience with more technish sounds, where piano and minimalistic rhythms are perfectly arranged. Crabnebula reflects the most imaginary part of our soul and we are all looking forward to hear his artistic evolution…now on 51beats.

Search | Add | 3 | Raul Mad | Raúl Castro Fernández | Electronic musician from Granada, Spain. Raúl Mad is a name you probably know if you are aware of the Spanish trance and techno trance scene. After years of shaking this style throughout the Iberian geography, through his well-known radio program "WE ARE IN TRANCE" and his renowned sessions, where he combines precision, speed and technique equally, it is a mind that does not stop. Dj, promoter of events and raves, radio broadcaster with more than two decades of experience and now back to the studio, show, that his involvement with music is total. Since 1993, when he was very young, he became hooked on electronic music listening to the legendary program It's Your Time and to this day, he has not stopped doing things. He has toured by pricking half a Spanish geography and has performed outside our borders, in Cyprus, in sessions where in addition to carrying the best of the current sounds, his influence is felt by the music of the 90s. He has shared a booth with world-class DJs, vocalists or musicians, within styles as varied as Trance, Techno, House & Oldschool. Name them all, would be an arduous task. He has worked as a broadcaster, dj and event host on prestigious radio stations, such as LOCA FM, DIVA SOUND RADIO and PLAYTRANCE RADIO for many years, as well as collaborating with his sets at the prestigious stations MAXIMA FM and LOS 40 DANCE. Within the studio, he began experimenting in the early 2000s, editing several Break Trance cutting tracks on the prestigious label Breakbeat REFLEX MUSIC with his partner Axion, under the akas Noise Wizards and Axion + Trasher. These works were bestsellers for several years, not only in Spain, but also in the UK, USA or Germany, and included in various cult compilations such as KICK ZONE 1 and 2 or Beat Dis! Sessions, and currently continuing being some of the most sought-after oldschool tracks by fans of this style and still for sale in Beatport. After a few years of blackout and focused on his side as a DJ and promoter, he edited his first work through DIPER RECORDS under his aka INFINITUM, and remixed the prestigious DJ and producer Julio Posadas through 73 MUZIK, as well as editing "Reflections of the Moon" with Fisical Project. In 2020, he set up his own record label, GALAXIA MUSIC, with his friends and partners Gonzalo Bam & Fisical Project and with which they intend to revolutionize the national and international trance scene. As a resident promoter and DJ, he has years of experience carrying clubs and organizing raves and parties, especially in southern Spain, working with both prestigious DJs, as well as with the best local artists and new emerging values. He is also a creator and founder with several friends and DJs, of the trance event par excellence in Spain and the most anticipated of the Hispanic summer. Sunrise Trance meeting. A private party, in which it brings together every year the best djs trance in the country and through which several international DJs of recognized prestige have already passed. Currently he continues to work in the studio and in the coming months you will see the light of new solo tracks, as well as several collaborations with well-known producers of the trance and techno scene, all without forgetting the dj terrain, his favorite, and where we will see him playing with his peculiar style. You can follow their work through their social networks. |
