Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Joey Vriend | oey Vriend is a 30 year old singer-songwriter. With his unique deep-dark voice he amazes his audiences with compositions resembling the atmosphere of, among others, Nick Drake and Leonard Cohen. At age seventeen Joey discovered the magic of fingerpicking the guitar, the sounds of the piano and the fragile sound of the mouth-organ. Soon after that he started composing, arranging and performing his own material. Joey loves diving into the past, in search of great memories. Past times and nature are magic to him; something intangible. Inspired by nature he writes beautiful melancholic and nostalgic songs. Joey grew up nearby the old VOC City of Hoorn in The Netherlands. This is where he met the producers Jeroen Tenty and Eric Lensink of the MI5 recording studios. A unique collaboration arose that lasts until today. Through the years Joey often travelled to Medieval Ghent in Belgium to write with poet and lyricist Andy Cartwright. In a perfectionistic endeavour Joey and Andy constantly search for the ultimate description of emotions. “Emotion” being the key word that totally depicts Joey; always searching for melancholy and hope! Not afraid of hidden emotions that get unleashed by his own and other artists music. Listening to artists like Leonard Cohen, Nick Drake and Hans Zimmer taught Joey persistence, self-confidence and resilience. This strong power of music also manifests itself in Joey’s work as music-counsellor for psychiatric patients and youngsters with serious behavioural problems. Work experiences that offer him a broader view on life. As from April 2020 Joey Vriend is signed to the independent record label King Forward Records, a label with a roster of international songwriters with a niche vision. Joey Vriend’s full length debut ‘Hiding at First Light’ is OUT NOW. Ten beautiful songs accompanied with compelling videos shot by the man himself. The new single ‘Smile’ will be released September 17. Enjoy! | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Lathouse | The group "Lathouse" debuted on the Latvian music scene in the early 2000s. The debut and only album "Believe in Riga style" was released in February 2002 by the publishing house "Gailītis-G" in collaboration with the company "Sun Records". The album combined both author’s compositions, which at the time of the release of the album were already very active on club dance floors, and remixes of dance hits by the then popular groups A-Europa and Fors. The most famous song was "Riga style", which gave the album its name, "Pump Up Da Base", as well as a remix of the song "Белые небеса" from the repertoire of Arturs Dubok's project "A-Europa". The attention to the work of Duboks and his group from the Lathouse project is not accidental: the founder of the team was the Latvian electronic producer Janis Lamsters, who in 1999 also stood at the origins of the A-Europa group, together with the already mentioned Arturs Duboks, and together with he recorded two albums on behalf of A-Europa, but after leaving the band for his own project. The remaining members of the Lathouse project were hiding behind the pseudonyms DJ Ros, DJ Well and DJ Valer. The single "Riga style", recorded in 2000, managed to light up in Latvian dance charts and subsequently gained many new interpretations performed by a number of Baltic DJs. The album "Believe in Riga style" was nominated for the main national award in the field of sound recording in the category "Best Dance Music Album". Unfortunately, the debut record was the first and only and the project "Lathouse" soon ceased to exist. | Search | Add | 3 | LunaBarge | LunaBarge are an energetic, uplifting, indie-folk duo. Playing banjo, guitar & ukulele with intertwined vocal harmonies, all the while both stamping on wooden boxes to give a bouncy beat. They like to find the little things in life that make it worth living and encapsulate them in their catchy original songs. They are sometimes joined by a third member playing uke-bass. They are Kel (My Mate Dave, The Devil’s Prefects, Dog ‘Ole) & Will (Hobo Jones & The Junkyard Dogs, The Devil’s Prefects, Dog ‘Ole), sometimes joined by Tab (Tabitha Wild, Dog ‘Ole). They all have many years of live musical experience. They began as a duo and quite rapidly built up an impressive list of venues, including The Palladium Club-Bideford, The Ropemakers-Bridport & The Queen’s Head-Farnham. They have supported The Leylines (at The Half Moon, Putney) & Sound Of The Sirens. Festival appearances include The Theatre & Circus Green Room Bar-Glastonbury, Here For the Music, Bearded Theory, & Watchet. They are looking forward to making appearances at many more shows across the UK with their bouncy sound! Their debut album was released in 2022 and was well received. They have just started working on the second album. | |

The project was manly a duo but with some exceptions as it approached closer to the dissolution of the project, when some tests of some new entrances were made. But during the year of the 2000 the two main members at last split up the teamwork in favor of developing new projects and because that the distance between the members was too long to keep the machinery floating anymore. During the year of 2000 one of the main members transform the project to a new under the name Fornjotr. And also put some more focus on his other projekts called Hrafn, The Dark River, Blutsturm and Helkari. The other main force went to a more pure Dark Ambient and Industrial scene with his new projects called Club Dorothée and Void. And later there after followed by Lithivm and his self titled projekt Gustaf Hildebrand. Main members: Nehcrohm (Hrafn) & Kohort (Hildebrand) | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Airhead DC | Vishal Narang | Vishal Narang has pursued music through his entire young adulthood, but his first proper band came about after moving to New York to study art history at NYU. Through a mutual friend, Narang met Greta Kline (of Frankie Cosmos) and the two quickly decided to start playing music together after noticing their similar sense of humor and mutual enthusiasm about each other’s songwriting. After deciding on the name Milk Ghost, Narang and Kline began practicing regularly, creating Beat Happening inspired arrangements to Narang’s anecdotal songs about friends. Building on that experience, Narang started Nirvanus, a solo electronic project inspired by the many noise and house records he found through the Greenwich Village record store, Other Music, like Black Dice and Smallville Records releases. Through Nirvanus, Narang introduced himself to new equipment and recording techniques, incorporating samples, live instruments, and heavy use of effects together for the first time. After graduating college Narang decided to move across the country to Los Angeles, where Nirvanus eventually caught the attention of the budding indie label, Danger Collective Records, before returning to the East Coast and reinventing himself once again as Airhead DC. |
