Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Petit Gateau | Raphael Drouskaniev | ‘Petit Gâteau’ is an outstanding recipe born in Paris in the family stove. In 2010, ‘Petit Gâteau’ decided to grow up by becoming the very first biscuit of the electronic French scene. Influenced by artists from everywhere, from The Timewriter to Dominik Eulberg, from Julio Bashmore to Trentemoller, also from Eek a mouse to Chris Liberator, he started a crispy and tasty adventure. Between Deep House and cocktails on the beach, catchy Minimal and vitamin C, but also PsyTrance, ‘Petit Gâteau’ stands out from traditional recipes by bringing the coolness of a ‘salade niçoise’ but with this strong and unusual taste of the ‘Moutarde de Dijon’ (Dijon Mustard). |

Search | Add | 2 | Joe Delon | Joe Delon | Originally from Birmingham, UK, but living in Lisbon since late 2014, Joe Delon has a love of disco, house, techno and electro in all their forms, drawing particular pleasure from mixing them in unexpected ways. What links each record to the next is a playful seriousness (or serious playfulness) deriving from a pop sensibility and a love of full-body dancing. A long-term resident at Spaced in London and a regular on the underground circuit across Europe, recent years have seen Joe play further afield (e.g. New York, Marrakech) and on bigger festival stages (e.g. Virgo, Meadows In The Mountains). Other highlights include an appearance at the infamous Breakfast Club afters in Paris and an unforgettable 8-hour back-to-back with Gwenan at Griessmuehle. Joe is also a regular at queer-run events, having played at Kiss Me Again (Manchester), El Cuerpo Del Disco (Madrid), Pumping Velvet (London) and Kit Ket (Lisbon). Online, Joe inaugurated the Pickle Factory live mix series and more recently has provided mixes for Honey Soundsystem, Prosumer's NTS show, The Ghost and Truants. He also keeps a monthly slot – Flamingo – on Lisbon's Râdio Quántica and writes about music and DJing on his Substack newsletter. |

Search | Add | 2 | Giuseppe Garuti | He made his debut in 1921 at Politeama Verdi of Cremona in Cavalleria Rusticana. He excited in 1921 the first sensation in Genoa as Alfredo in Verdi’s ‘’ Traviata’’. He had considerable career in the big Italian provincial stages, especially in Genoa, where he appeared with success among other things in 1922 in ‘’ Gioconda’’ of Ponchielli, in 1926 in ‘’Lucia di Lammermoor’’. In 1936 he made guest appearance at the Teatro Massimo in Palermo. He retired from the stage in 1940. He had to give up his career early, because he lost his voice, probably because he had too often sung the heavy parts.

Search | Add | 2 | Edu Su | Eduard Gilabert | Born in Lleida, he studies sol-fa and piano since he was 7, starts his own band when he was 16 and gets soon fascinated by the intensities of groups like Sonic Youth or Deus. At 20, he buys a GrooveBox 303 and starts producing electronic music with raspy bases, soaking up the electro and acid sounds. In 2002 he starts being part of the Club Bakomba as a partner, together with Robert Lamart and Pep Gaya (American typewriter). A small place where the German minimal techno is lived intensely. He plays in several local bars in his city, carries out a tour along the Czech Republic where he takes part in the Underground Garage urban festival in Prague and, finally, leaves his natal city to move to Bcn. From 2002, he joins the NsT group, through which they claim the stylistic diversity in opposition to the increasingly homogenized scene in Barcelona. He collaborates with Telenoika and Lectrovision, he spends his time in festivals and raves, and obtains a monthly residence in the P23 and in the B-Side. Nowadays, he shares set with Lectromind, developing sessions that go from the dubstep and the IDM to the electro and the most sober techno. In 2012, he starts materializing his personal project, Parabolic label, a record and audio-visual production label based on the full coexistence between the electronic music and the visual. With regard to his live sets, edu su tends to the breaks, electro and IDM, creating loaded scenes filled with emotion and contrasts that go from the most synthetic rhythmic crudeness to a sonorous density that invites you to be attentive to what is going on. Though of moderated bpm, it turns out to be forceful and danceable. |

Search | Add | 2 | Adult Mayflys | Rotorua, New Zealand - not a place known for 'indie' or alternative rock music but it had a small and lively scene from the mid to late 1980s. Acts such as the Boogadagas, Calamari Bushmen, Da Hubcaps, Lounge Lizards, Book of Martyrs, Pet Cemetary, Big Fat Torturous Band, Dufty Baker, the Earthlings, P.D. Corp and Adult Mayflys played to audiences that wanted more than "pub rock in a tourist town". Many of the musicians who made up these acts crossed over into each others bands at one time or another. With very few venues that supported local music, gigs often took place at someone's house, the Rotorua Art Gallery at Tudor Towers or the legendary Homestead Tavern. Sometimes bands scored a support act for a more well-known act traveling through town or ventured out to Tauranga, Hamilton or even Auckland for the odd gig. In some cases (Book of Martyrs) the bands relocated outside of Rotorua and found more success, appearing in the likes of Stamp and RipItUp magazines and heard on student radio. Most of these bands found their way to Zed Brookes' Tandy's recording studio, just outside of Hamilton to record. Luckily many of these recordings still exist despite only being released on cassette only. Like many original bands who originated from the provinces of New Zealand at the time, the Rotorua bands (or 'Mudpool sound') were mostly overlooked in favor of acts from the main centers such as Auckland, Wellington and of course Dunedin with its Flying Nun legacy. There is no doubt if these Rotorua acts were in fact based in Dunedin back then, they may have become household names like the Chills, The Clean or the Verlaines now are. Sometimes geography is a hinderance but also determines the sound that ultimately defines you. Hopefully in the digital age more archives of the Mudpool bands will make their way to the ears of music fans who will discover a piece of New Zealand music they may not have known ever existed. The Adult Mayflys consisted of Dave Bishop, Jeremy Taylor and Graeme Anderson and produced a typically 'New Zealand' style indie rock. Anderson was also a member of pioneering Flying Nun act the Stones with Jeff Batts and Wayne Elsey; Bishop went on to form the Big White Indie Band at the end of the 80s, the Earthlings in the early 90s, the successful Peter Stuyvesant Hitlist in the late-90s and is now a solo artist in his own right as "Davey Beige" with a new album due in Sept 2017. Taylor moved on to join the Calamari Bushmen.

Search | Add | 2 | Thomas Jefferson's Aeroplane | Deasy and Jacques both had successful bands in Pittsburgh that were signed to major labels in the late 90's. Since then, Deasy has released a number of full length solo records, had songs recorded by artists such as Martina McBride, Billy Ray Cyrus, and One flew south, wrote and performed a popular theme song for good morning America, and Published 2 novels. Jacques moved to Los Angeles, Logged some road time with Canadian Singer songwriter Chantal Kreviavuk, taught guitar to Ben Affleck, produced a number of Artists including Kina Grannis, Alissa Moreno, and Rob Giles(the Rescues), and with his band Right the Stars has landed songs in Tv and Film including a Honda spot for the CRV, Furry Venegeance, the Breakup with Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Anniston, "one tree Hill", "Life Unexpected", and PBS Carriers, as well as a slew of shows on MTV The duo's debut release, "the Invisible Ocean", came out in 2008. Their sophomore effort is a sparkling gem of a six-song EP simply called "Express". It features five new originals plus a cover of the Bourgeoise Tagg song "I don't mind at all". Deasy and Jacques started the band with the idea of "no thinking, let's just see what happens". The result is something unique to TJA that neither would have done on their own. The merging of styles is sure to please fans of their previous works as well as attracting new ones.

Search | Add | 2 | Technical SHOT | Yegor Rumyantsev | Techno DJ-producer and artist of Technical Shot in the genre of Hard, Acid, Underground, Industrial. "Technical Shot" is a real name Yegor, was born in the Crimea, and during his school years he lived in Siberia. He grew up in a creative family, his father is an artist, and his mother is a musician. He had been gravitating toward electronic music since his childhood, but he had no opportunity to realize his thoughts because he had the opportunity to study the structure of electronic music and instruments for its synthesis. Now it is time for him to show his possibilities and his thoughts. He says: Rehearsals are over, now I understand what attention should be paid to each track and what processing and mastering should be used at the last stages of track creation. At the moment I am preparing two releases that will be released in early 2021. All tracks will be at least 155 bpm. Since it is this rhythm with industrial sound that feeds my life. In sets I don't bind myself to rules, I often experiment with mixing of 3-4 tracks. I don't like to just stand around DJ hardware, I like to be constantly at work and fully immersed in music. I have absolutely no respect for those who play a prepared set and just dance. It's time to throw such DJs in the dump! Since they are not musicians, but simple fraudsters. |
