Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Shiny Jets | [a=Shiny Jets] is an experimental rock band formed in Chicago in 2004. The band began when drummer [a=Tucker Slough] encountered Singer/Guitarist [a=Shanté Clair] performing at a party thrown by a mutual friend in the Rogers Park area. The two struck up a friendship and began trying to incorporate Tucker's drumming into Shanté's existing solo project, [a=The Maybe]. Soon they began writing new songs and pushing their musical ideas further, incorporating looping pedals and other electronics until they had compiled a number of songs. Some time afterwards, Tucker moved back to his hometown of Kansas City and Shanté left Chicago to live in New York for a number of years. Around 2014, the two began working on new songs together, with Shanté writing songs that Tucker would then add drums parts to and send back via Dropbox. Within a short time the material they were creating began to take shape and discussions began about re-establishing the band. In March of 2015 Shanté packed up and moved to Kansas City to begin work on the project that would assume the moniker Shiny Jets. Incorporating songs written back in Chicago and those songs written long distance between New York and Kansas City, the two began adding layers of sampling and further experimentation with even more complex looping and arrangements. Currently Shiny Jets rehearses, performs and records based out of Kansas City.

Search | Add | 2 | Dascyllus | Tim Nugent and Tom Belton | Dascyllus are South London based producers and DJs Tim Nugent and Tom Belton. A chance encounter in a Surbiton pub was eventually followed by a first studio session from which emerged a deep, progressive breakbeat track with plenty of nuskool leanings, 'Odessa Keys'. This found its way in to the hands of Hybrid with another track, 'Floating Point', and the two were soon being dropped in Hybrid's sets everywhere from Glastonbury to the Glade festival. |

Search | Add | 2 | Miguel Sergides | Michalakis Stelios Sergides | Michalakis Stelios Sergides, was a london based cypriot singer & songwriter... He was also known as "Miguel Sergides" (just a stage name), Michael Sergides, as well as "Big Mig Sergides" because of his physical size... About twenty years ago, I had the pleasure of chatting with Michael and it was pure fun...! After the separation from Arcadium, Michael composed a few soundtracks and recorded some really fine still unreleased spaced-out long tracks... I have the pleasure, to own a bub of those fine recordings as well... He also recorded during an erlier period, a very rare 10 inch acetate only release with his band Anaconda... Michael also starred in a movie called "The Moon Over The Alley" as a hippie street musician... Later Michael moved to autralia and changed his stage name to "Michael Savanna Silver" and recorded two records with the "Savanna Silver Band"... Miguel Rodriguez, Germany... |

Its members have to their credit a long list of individual achievements as solo players, as well as a host of awards from international competitions. Search | Add | 2 | Serge Clamens | Born in Moissac in 1952, he discovered from an early age an attraction for music. The polyphonic possibilities of the accordion will fix his choice on this instrument. He began his musical studies in 1962, music theory and instrument, with a private teacher, then very quickly began more serious studies at the Toulouse Conservatory, for music, and with René Feuillet, for the practice of the instrument. He progressed rapidly and went to Paris where he worked with José Rossi and Christian Di Maccio, teacher of the advanced class at the Schola cantorum. He notices, then, that in France, very few composers write for this instrument. The existing repertoire, being more than obsolete, it goes towards the musicians of the East, who work permanently for the evolution of the accordion. He participates in several high-level international competitions and obtains excellent results. 1969 – Evian International Competition – 1 prize (Honour) 1970 to 1974 – Four times finalist of the O.R.T.F. 1972 – Annemasse European Grand Prix – 3 prizes (concertists) 1975 – Irun International Competition – 3 prizes (concertists) 1977 – Selected to represent France at the Klingenthal world competition Now a teacher, he devotes himself to teaching the accordion with avant-garde methods, and a technique he borrowed from the Russian School, the results proving that it is currently the best. He created the TRIO D’ART CONTEMPORAIN DE TOULOUSE, to affirm the accordion in its use with noble instruments, and to interpret a musical literature that has no common measure with the classic accordion repertoire.

Death Lot Lizard from Katowice made their debut with a very good demo, entitled "Killed By Overdrive", released in 2009. Instead of working on the next material, the band dissolved to come back to life in 2013. But it was good that the gentlemen returned to the game, because the fresh mini album released just shows that they have not forgotten to play, and they still have an idea for themselves. The band's music is referred to as southern / thrash metal mix and this term is fully confirmed. Search | Add | 2 | Gina Haley | Linda Georgina Haley | Linda Georgina (Gina) Haley (born April 23, 1975, in Mexico) is an American singer-songwriter. Haley is the youngest child of rock and roll pioneer Bill Haley from his marriage to his last wife, Martha; she grew up in Harlingen, and she was only five years old when her father died in 1981. At 18 years old, she left home and set out to find her musical identity, which landed her in Houston. She is classically trained on piano and an accomplished self-taught guitarist and songwriter. During the mid-1990s, she left Houston and moved to Los Angeles.[3] She managed to catch the eye of producer Michael Sembello, and worked closely with him writing, recording, and arranging tracks which appeared in television and movies. Gina also worked closely with songwriter Richard Rudolph, and published songs through Music Sales Group. Her first self-titled album was released in Japan in 1999 Heat Wave. During these years in Los Angeles, she sang with the world music group called The Bridge, whose members included Edu Falcao, Daniel Jobim, Paulinho Da Costa, Vincent Colaiuta, and Michael Sembello. Gina later formed her own group, the Gina Haley Band, and continues to work in the musical field in her home state of Texas. On July 6, 2005, she performed with her father's old band, The Comets at the Viper Room in West Hollywood as part of 50th-anniversary celebrations of her father's famous song "Rock Around the Clock" reaching the number-one position on American sales charts, as well as what would have been Bill Haley's 80th birthday. In June 2008, the Gina Haley Band performed at the Bill Haley induction to the South Texas Music Walk of Fame in Corpus Christi, Texas. Other inductees included Chelo Silva, Pat Grogan, Joe Gallardo, Max Stalling, and The Reverend Horton Heat. Meeting Jim Heath (Reverend Horton Heat) was an important event in Gina's life. Jim had not intended to perform at the induction ceremony, as his band had not traveled with him, but decided to dedicate a Bill Haley song to Gina, a song that inspired him to become a musician. That song was "Rock the Joint". After years of contemplating making a rockabilly album, Gina had finally decided that it was time to carry on her father's legacy. A year later she sang "Rock the Joint" with Reverend Horton Heat at a concert in Dallas, Texas. She continues to perform in Texas with the Gina Haley Band, in her original alternative country sound. |
