One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

Influences include Radiohead, Alice in Chains, and the whole grunge scene with atmospheric overtones in the style of Anathema. In 2017, driven by the desire to start again from the basics, founder Carlo Gervasini (My Stupid Dream, Parole Perse, Doomed Timeline Theory and Beansidhe) starts writing his own songs in the form of 'one man band'. In the recording session he personally takes care of all instruments and vocal parts, accompanied only by the voices of Claudio Lucchini and Giulia Schertler. The first release "Ometra" is in 2019: it gets visibility and a place in the compilation "Confederation Music" managed by Marco Kohler (RSI) with the song "Ahead." This good debut will push the guitarist to believe he can compose better music, with a real band. Thus, in 2020 the writing of new, more dynamic and emotional pieces begins. In 2021, made by a group consisting of Elia Heutschi (drums), Paride Casu (bass), Giulia Schertler and Anastasia Gautschi (vocals), as well as Gervasini on guitars, "We used to look at the stars," recorded and mixed by Stefano Scenini at Stairway Studio in Cimo, sees the light. The work gets further visibility than the previous release and with the track "Crossroads from my Past" OMETRA deservedly returns to feature in the selection of "Confederation Music" . "We used to look at the stars" is an album that helped the project leader accept and embrace the pain, to move forward.... Made in the hope that it will also intercept the feelings of those who have experienced severe suffering during their journey. Choices, the new Album, has been released on April 20th | |

Dentro de sus actividades destacadas de esta primera etapa se encuentra su participación como cantante en el concierto “A Tres Voces”, en Agosto de 2004, interpretando música latinoamericana con los arreglos y bajo la dirección del Maestro Ernesto Acher (Les Luthiers), junto a las cantantes Georgina Hassan (Argentina) y Ema Millar(Chile). En el año 2005 dirige sus pasos a la capital del país donde estudia en la Escuela Moderna de Música y desde entonces a la fecha estudia canto popular con la destacada cantante y coach vocal Lorena Pualuán, actualmente avecindada en Nueva York. De vuelta en Concepción se integra como cantante a la Derecho UdeC Big Band, donde explora los más tradicionales sonidos del jazz vocal, agrupación en la que participa hasta mediados del año 2014. El 13 de septiembre de 2014, junto a los músicos Yayo Durán (disco Reconstrucción ganador premios Ceres 2014), Rodrigo Álvarez (disco Creciente ganador Ceres 2012, Nominado Altazor 2012), Pablo Lara, Víctor Henríquez, Juan Pablo López y con la colaboración de Francisco Aravena, Gipson Reyes, Juan José Sánchez, Ignacio González y Daniel Freire, lanza su primera producción Canciones Bien Intencionadas, obteniendo la nominación a los premios Ceres 2014 en la categoría Raíz folclórica. Actualmente reside en Madrid, donde hasta ahora ha presentado su disco en radio y como invitada del Trío Hermanos Millar, en escenarios de Madrid y Barcelona. |

Leonid Sabaneev [preferable & more common form is 'Sabaneyev'] was a Russian composer, musicologist, music critic & scientist. Son of a prominent naturalist & hunting/fishing expert, he studied mathematics, physics & natural sciences at the Moscow University while additionally attending historical/philological courses. Also, he was able to receive a high-class musical education, with some of the best teachers around (e.g. [a= Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov], among others). By 1920s he became a famous – if rather scandalous & (self-)contradictory - music critic; as well as a music theorist, both highly innovative & inconsistent. A colourful & eccentric person, he was a close friend of [a= Alexander Scriabine] & a good acquaintance of many significant (musical or not) figures of the era, impressions of which relations later finding themselves in print in his highly acclaimed memoirs. However, almost throughout his life, regularly though not exactly prolifically, he has been writing his own music – beginning at the turn of the 20th century & ending (obviously/mostly) somewhere in 1940s. He finished orchestration score for a grandiose oratorio 'The Revelation of St. John' (aka simply 'Apocalypse'), high-demanding & time-devouring on the author's part, in 1940; still, according to reports, he continued working at the opus until his last years. The score is believed to be entombed up to this day in some US archives, unpublished. Yielding to looming shadows of dreadful changes, Sabaneyev left Russia in 1926 & relocated to Paris where he was still engaged in busy & diverse music-related activities (composed/staged a ballet; published a good book on history of Russian music; etc.). Subsequently he dwelled, for limited spells of time, in London & US. During all his time in emigration Sabaneyev never stopped working actively in many authoritative music periodicals; he also wrote music for films. He returned to France, a 'home regained' of Russian emigration, in 1933 where he died in Cap d'Antibes near Nice in October 1st, 1968. Sabaneyev's music – almost inevitably though never too heavily influenced by Scriabin & other late Romantics, was, as a matter of fact, [i]another[/i], divergent, going further & beyond the conventional music conceptions even of those revolutionary times; technically much complex yet unusually brittle in it’s moods, innately bearing some weird ‘romantic’ kind of darkness. It obviously hasn’t struck a chord with his contemporaries, either in Russia or in the West, & has mostly laid in obscurity for many decades, with only some broader-minded &/or rara-avis-catcher performers (like, e.g., [a= Marc-André Hamelin]) trying it out once in a while. In 2012, three daring & already well-experienced musicians has recorded two essential Sabaneyev’s 1920’s piano works - treated with all due care & exactness, rendered with inspirational sincerity, & recorded with top-notch modern quality - in Munich’s BR Studios. Accordingly, a CD (‘Piano Trios’) was issued on GENUIN label which has caused quite a stir & won much acclaim among music connoisseurs’ circles. Three years later a double CD, ‘The Complete Works for Piano Vol. 1’ came from GENUIN, containing a dozen small piano pieces performed by [a= Michael Schäfer (5)], the pianist from the previous recording; it equally & deservedly garnered most positive reviews. Sabaneyev’s one-year elder brother, Boris Sabaneyev ([a= Борис Сабанеев]), who hasn’t survived the Russian Red Revolution, was also a musician: classical organist, organ composer & theorist, and pedagogue. Attilio Poto was born in Boston in 1915 but moved with his family to Italy shortly thereafter, returning to Boston at the age of nine. As a very young man, he played clarinet in a Festival Band in Boston's North End, in a WPA orchestra, and in Boston's Youth Orchestra, conducted by Koussevitzky's nephew, Fabian Sevitzky. At 24, Poto went to New York City to play in the National Orchestral Association, a training orchestra, and to study conducting with its conductor, [a=Leon Barzin], who had played under Toscanini and absorbed Toscanini's baton technique. In 1939 Poto was solo clarinet with the [a=The Metropolitan Opera House Orchestra] for all the German repertory. Upon returning to Boston in 1940 he conducted the Massachusetts State Symphony in numerous concerts before enlisting in the Air Force in 1942. He played in the 628th Air Force Band until resuming civilian life in 1946. That same year he studied conducting with Koussevitzky at [l=Tanglewood (3)]. In 1949 he was engaged as second clarinet in the BSO under [a=Serge Koussevitzky] and, later, [a=Charles Munch]. As such, he participated in some of Koussevitzky's most memorable performances: the great Strauss Death and Transfiguration, the legendary Brahms First Piano Concerto with [a=Myra Hess] (both fortunately preserved as airchecks from the respective broadcasts), and various commercial recordings, including Don Juan, the Siegfried Idyll and the Brahms Fourth Symphony. In 1950 he began teaching clarinet and conducting at the Boston Conservatory, retiring in 1992, after 42 years. He died in Boston on July 23, 2003 at the age of 88. | |

He went on to play drums with [b]Redex[/b] before switching to bass in such acts as [b]Scarecrow[/b] (3 tracks are available on 2012 release "Dark New York (Gotham City's Post Punk, Goth, & Deathrock Bands 1983-1988) Vol. 1", infamous NYC trashrock band [b]Chop Shop[/b] with Joe Truck, and a short stint in the briefly-reformed [b]HiSheriffs of Blue[/b]. That led him to more of an emphasis on Delta Blues and slide guitar, fronting shortlived Punk/Delta hybrid [b]Love In Vein[/b] with Eddie Stern (Chop Shop), Jerry Williams (Th' Cigaretz, 171-A Studio) and Scott Jarvis (Cigz, Workdogs, etc.). Next was blues/punk/rock hybrid [b]The Hellhounds[/b], and occasional gigs with the [b]Workdogs[/b] (one captured here: https://workdogs.bandcamp.com/track/the-theme-2), plus an appearance on their 1993 release "Roberta" on lap steel (available on Spotify). After a hiatus of a dozen years, he recently resurfaced for a few Hellhounds reunion gigs, then spent just under a year in Brooklyn-based HonkyTonk/Alt-Country outfit [b]Aron Blue and The Bootleggers[/b], whose eponymous record he appears on, playing lead and slide on all tracks, though uncredited. Currently he can be heard gigging with Rockabilly band [b]The Skelekasters[/b], and [b]The Robert Kennedy Assassination[/b], and on guest lead and rhythm guitar on the Jam Messengers song "Contact High".. |
