Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | John A. Serri | John A. Serri | John A. Serri (Born January 27, 1954) is a part time composer and a full time technologist and entrepreneur located in the San Francisco Bay Area. Born and raised in New York City, at an early age John was fascinated by music and started composing pieces at the age of 12 using a two octave magnus electric chord organ, as that was all his family could afford at the time. As a child and teenager Serri received some formal training through the New York City School System playing the trombone in various bands and orchestras. Only later in life did he start a serious study of music and composition. After receiving a PHD in Physics from MIT and establishing a career in High Technology, his first piano lesson was at the ripe age of 35. He advanced quickly on the classical piano and was soon playing in piano recitals for advanced pianists. However his real interest and passion was in composition using synthesizers. John was influenced by a 50 / 50 mix of Rock/ Blues (Beatles, Rolling Stones, AC/DC, David Bowie, Jimi Hendrix, the Doors) and Classical (Mozart , Chopin, Beethoven, Debussy and Rachmaninoff) resulting in his own music being an interesting mix of styles. His early compositions appear in the Albums "Reflective Atmospheres" and "Better Late Than Never" released on JMP Music. Serri's style is deliberately loose and improvizational, keeping away from formal rigid timing and conventional harmonic structures. |

Search | Add | 3 | Bryon Adamson-Woods | Bryon Adamson | Bryon Adamson is a Scots-born multi-instrumentalist and artist, raised in the New Forest on the South coast of England. He played bass on all of the Restoration II material, additionally playing bass, keyboards and additional guitar on Revolution By Night's only full length release 1995's album "Breathe". He also played guitar, bass and piano on the band's cover version "Kingdom Come" which was released on the "Forevermore - A Tribute to The Mission" album in Germany. He co-composed every original Revolution By Night track, including the track "Selling Heaven" which was released on the "Dreams In The Witch House" compilation CD. When Revolution By Night progressed to a future-pop / electro / synth-pop format in 2000, he wrote mainly on keyboards and played keys live. In early live shows, he additionally played guitar, and for the band's live show at Leipzig's WGT (2000) he played entirely on guitar. Around the time of the release of the "Faithless" EP in 2003, Adamson dropped the double-barrelled surname. The band "rebranded" simply as "RBN" in 2006, and released the self-produced "Machine Code EP" in time for their UK tour with Swedish scene giants Covenant and Norway's Pride And Fall. Adamson also contributed co-lead vocals to RBN's remix of Straftanz's eponymous track, aptly named "Straftanz UK (featuring RBN)", which although not released officially, was made available on Straftaz's MySpace page and was performed live by RBN several times. It was also performed by both bands together twice in London. Adamson also did much of the work on remixes for other bands such System:FX, Reaper and Nachtmahr, credited as RBN. The exception to this was RBN's remix for Komor Kommando, on which he had no part and states that he was only aware of the project after it was completed. Adamson produced all the graphic material and logo design for all forms of the band up to, but not including, the official of the full-length album, "City Lights", which was released under the name of Stok:holm. In the months prior to the release of this album, the band and management took the decision to rename the band (in light of the more searchable Rock Band Network and advice from several European DJs in the scene). The decision was then taken to scrap Adamson's artwork and use different designers for the release artwork, which Adamson felt further increased problems with certain band personnel recognising his creative and organisational input to the band. Further, with the only live RBN date of 2011 having been performed after a single rehearsal, Adamson insisted that the only live date of 2013 for Stok:holm be cancelled, considering the band insufficiently prepared. However, with the band no longer on the bill, Stok:holm vocalist and DJ Steve Weeks kept the support slot and played a clearly pre-prepared electro-hard tech-noise set with a fellow DJ. With rehearsals not forthcoming and estrangement from other band members continuing to grow, Adamson decided to put his involvement with them on ice. He relocated to Scotland in early 2015, and at the time of this edit, no further music projects have been announced. The return of Stok:holm at some stage had seemed entirely possible until an attempt to reform the band without Adamson was attempted; something to which he strenuously objected. |

Search | Add | 3 | Dr. Peter von Zahn | Peter von Zahn (Jan 29., 1913 Chemnitz - Juli 29., 2001 Hamburg, Germany) started his career as a journalist at Radio Hamburg on July 15, 1945. Educated, eloquent and with a distinctive style of speaking, Zahn soon became a fixture at the station of the Allied military government, which continued to exist from September 30, 1945 as NWDR (Nordwestdeutscher Rundfunk) and was converted into an independent broadcaster from January 1, 1948. When the NWDR was split into NDR and WDR in 1956, from then on, Zahn stood for continuity and quality at the northern German broadcaster. In 1951 he took the plunge across the pond and became a pioneer in foreign reporting in the United States. His 15-minute radio show "From the New World" explains the German society and politics of the occupying power. From 1955 onwards, the same format led to success on television. Von Zahn left NDR in 1961 and founded his own production company, Windrose Film- und Fernsehproduktions-GmbH. His reports were shown in WDR, among others, which developed the "Weltspiegel" („mirror of the world“) series from the format.

Search | Add | 3 | John N. Wright | John North Wright | John North Wright was a musician, writer, inventor, traveler, and VHS and BETA filmmaker born 1942 in Port Huron, Michigan. Wright was a lifelong conspiracy theorist (Masonic and otherwise) with the belief that Bob Dylan had stole his wife, and that the CIA and FBI were monitoring him. These themes, and Port Huron in general, were the subjects of much of his music, writing, and films. Wright was arrested in April 1981 for threatening the life of George Bush Sr, head of the FBI at the time. He was imprisoned and stood trial, being acquitted in September of that year by reason of insanity. After writing and self-publishing three books between the mid 1970s and early 1980s, Wright began writing and recording music in late 1982. In 1983 he was invited by [a482408] of [a79222] to play a live event in Port Huron, a few songs from which ended up on the legendary [r262620] compilation cassette. This led to the recording of [r262630], spearheaded by Diehl and released on his [l11552] label. Also sometime in the 80's, Wright began producing videos using borrowed community college or public access equipment. In the late 90s, Wright took to making hundreds of websites to share his theories, writing, and music. In February 2004, Wright passed away from complications related to leukemia, in a Hawaii hospital. John moved to Hawaii shortly after the release of his last album, White Widow. |

Search | Add | 3 | Reggie Quinerly | Jazz drummer from Houston, Texas. He was born on November 16, 1980, and took up drums at age 8 after hearing drummer Lester Grant playing at Pilgrim United Church of Christ, which Quinerly attended with his family. Quinerly attended the High School of the Performing and Visual Arts and went on to attend the Mannes School of Music at New School University in New York where he got to study with three great drummers: Jimmy Cobb, Lewis Nash, and Kenny Washington. From the start, Quinerly was less interested in becoming the next traps phenomenon than developing into a complete artist whose skills as a composer and arranger were fully integrated into his prowess at the traps. He went on to earn his Master’s in Jazz Studies at Juilliard, after which this “conscientious jazz drummer with a nimble and approachable style” (New York Times) played with such leading artists as Wynton and Branford Marsalis. With saxophonist Marcus Strickland, he played and lectured as part of Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Jazz in the Schools program. In the fall of 2017 he returned to Juilliard as an adjunct professor.

“Ponle cualquier marca” me decía. Tremendo tipo Rubby. Search | Add | 3 | The Blindfold Experience | The Blindfold Experience is a Musical Project with contributing artists from all over the world. The music is heavily inspired by rock and metal, although crossing many genres, and also features acoustic songs. Influences include bands and artists like Avenged Sevenfold, Queensrÿche and Dream Theater. The name Blindfold Experience was chosen because the performing musicians and vocalists never meet in most cases. We don’t even see each other; we’re just messaging each other and sending audio tracks across the world, adding our parts and sending them back. Completely Corona Safe, and we still create a musically inspiring environment, as each musician adds his or her own touch to the song. The musical journey starts in Sweden, from where the songs travel across the globe at a steady BPM to a dream team of hand-picked musicians and singers. The performing artists vary from song to song. To this date, we have performing artists, musicians, vocalists and mixing engineers from Sweden, the UK, the US, Argentina, Australia, Ecuador, Cyprus, Germany, Iceland, India, Italy, Poland and Ukraine.

In fact what makes their work special, and more resonant today than that of your typical sloganeering anarcho bleater, is their awareness of their own complicity in the things they despise, and all the self-loathing that comes with it. |

While maintaining a busy performing schedule, Gerhard is currently teaching at Vienna Music Schools. He divides his time between Vienna/Austria and Portland/Maine. Reviews: "...stylized playing where Eastern European melodies clash with energetic American-style spontaneity. The instrumental configuration is unique. Combining the accordion with electronics and placing them im the same arena with heavy back-beat drumming and free wheeling alto blowing results in a conglomeration that cannot be neatly slotted into a musical category......." ......."
