Discogs artists that do not appear to exist in MusicBrainz

Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026

Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.

The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.

These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.

Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.

Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.

There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.

One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report

We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.

Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

He moved to Toronto in 1972 and taught woodwinds 1972-85 at Étienne Brûlé High School and was concurrently conductor of the North York Student Orchestra. Legrady's Suite for brass was the winning submission in a 1963 contest sponsored by the Montreal Brass Quintet. Search Add 4 Blaze Camo Blaze Camo formed in NYC in 1995 and featured Jesse Jones (Yuppicide) on vocals, John Lafata (Mind Over Matter, Neglect, Madball) on drums, Trevor Silmser (Awake) on bass and David Acampora on Guitar. The goal of the band was to create a sound that was hard, but different from what they had done before. They didn't want to rest on their laurels and success of previous projects. Instead they chose to push their boundaries and not concern themselves with fitting into hardcore or punk. The result is a heavy, unique blend of musical influences that swells, jerks and drives at you like it wants a piece.

Search Add 4 Vincenzo Migliaro Vincenzo Migliaro (1858–1938) was an Italian painter born in Naples. After learning the art of wood carving at courses held by the Società Centrale Operaia Napoletana and working in the studio of Stanislao Lista, Migliaro enrolled in 1875 at the Naples Institute of Fine Arts, where his masters included Domenico Morelli. While a short trip to Paris in 1877 afforded him the opportunity to study the works exhibited in the Louvre, the artist’s main source of inspiration was Naples and its highly animated everyday life. The works he presented in exhibitions at the national and international level – including Turin (1880, 1884, and 1898) and Barcelona (1911), where he won a silver medal – gained him a reputation as a keen observer of Neapolitan life. Involved in the decoration of the Caffè Gambrinus in the following decade together with Vincenzo Irolli and other painters, he took part in the Venice Biennale from 1901 to 1928 and exhibited alongside Vincenzo Caprile and Vincenzo Gemito, both Neapolitans, at the Galleria Pesaro, Milan, in 1927.

Search Add 4 MT Wonder Started his music career at the age of 15 years old his first songs was write in year 1992. He grows up in Nigeria and he had opportunity to tour many campus in Nigeria then international performing in Ivory Coast, Ghana, Sudan and Cairo. This music is hip-hop as sonic architectured into minimal home-grown hip-hop. You could suggest that since the words mainstream American hip-hop have become so banal, one doesn’t really need to understand them — but that’s not an argument that’s going to win over many American hip-hop heads. Yet with the major labels bleeding money and losing their conglomerate backers, that system may finally be cracking. Hip-Hop is everywhere!

Search Add 4 Andskoti Andskoti In the early months of 2019, a half thought out project appeared. With ideas spewing forth fast, it did not take long until the idea was fully formed. Enter Andskoti! Andskoti, being the Icelandic word for Adversary and one of the names of Satan or the Devil; the original and ultimate adversary, is a musical act put forth to explore and convey the Luciferian spirit and ideology. Every track or release tackles a certain subject and is a part of a personal ritual, formed in music performance within the correct setting, created by Andskoti himself. If one were to put a label on Andskoti's music, it would probably best fall under the 'rythmic noise' term, though a more accurate description would include the keywords 'repetitive', 'bass-heavy' and 'ritualistic', and it relies heavily on electronics. The sole member and invoker of spirits behind Andskoti has led other solo projects that have performed in various countries, as well as been involved with known metal bands in the Icelandic scene, but now resides in Belgium and focuses solely on Andskoti.

Around 1931/1932, Dargatz also was shareholder of the Inton GmbH / [l=Inton (4)], also acting as manager and recording engineer in the Berlin subsidiary. His signature in the runouts was a "D" with a following number and often with a dot (e.g. D5 or D4.), later with an "x" (e.g. Dx). Please credit with Mastered By. Not to be confused with the lone "D" (or "D.") of Adalbert Dargatz. It is possible that Fritz Dargatz was also working for Teldec in Nortorf in the 1950s and 1960s.

Search Add 4 Skandinavia Skandinavia Upon hearing of a new band formed by ex-Bellatrix singer/songer Eliza Newman and featuring former Crashland bassist Martin Maddaford, your correspondent became all misty-eyed, recalling the halcyon days when being ‘indie’ involved dancing to the Evening Session and getting ink smudges from glossy copies of the Melody Maker (sniff). Far from being a Class of 2000 alt.pop supergroup (Fierce Panda contingent), Skandinavia are actually embracers of Rawk Music and duly have the riffery to prove it. New single 'Never Too Late' comes on like a slab of early ‘90s power metal, with layered wailing vocals, soaring violin and thumping bass, but without the ‘ironic’ factor that could have them labelled as a typical ‘post-Darkness’ band (even though Dan Hawkins once played guitar for them). Meanwhile B-side 'Storm' is reminiscent of 'Pablo Honey'-era Radiohead given more oomph, dusted with string accompaniment and replacing Thom for PJ Harvey. Plus the lyrical content is said to concern Nordic mythology, which is a far cry from singing about Star Wars fanatics and wetting yourself in front of potential boyfriends. Stormy, mystical and highly enjoyable Iceland rock it is, then. Vocals, Violin – Eliza Newman Bass – Martin Maddaford Drums – Dave Collinder Guitar – Claire Wakeman

Search Add 4 Dusty Watt Dr Allan Charles Watt Dusty Watt (real name Dr Allan Charles Watt) joined the NZ Army Territorial Reserve Force in 1978 and 1980 transferred to the Regular Force. He served a total time of 17 1/2 years combined service in the Regular and Reserve Forces. He further served with the NZ Police as a sworn officer for around 9 years. After which he attended University and completed numerous qualifications, the highest being a PhD in Forensic Computing. What does this have to do with the music? Nothing, but as the writer of this album it is worth a mention. At age 12 whilst attending the early years of high school, with a group of others attended guitar lessons and soon realised he had a natural aptitude for the instrument. Apart from a few talent quests in his younger years and the odd Karaoke appearance, until now has never written any music or performed on a stage as a musician. Inspired by his maternal Grandfather Phillip Charles McBarron, who was shot and wounded in the fields of the Somme in August 1918, in 2014 Dusty commenced writing songs in commemoration of the 100 years of the ANZACs involvement in the Great War. He wrote the tunes and lyrics for all the songs on the album “The Ghost of the Somme”. After this he ventured into a new era, this time recording his own songs and the album “The Dusty Trail” and it is slowly developing. I hope you enjoy my music.
