Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

He was also the creator and editor of GCC, Green Capsule Comments with the Toronto Optimists and Gold Capsule Comments with the Seneca Optimists. Don’s cartoons were frequently included in editions of GCC and many were featured in the tabloid newspaper [l2103616] between 1971 and 2000, all of which can be found in the pages of Steve Vickers’ book, “The Art of Drum Corps World.” In addition to his work with the Optimists, he found time to work with both the Ontario and Canadian Drum Corps Associations, serving as a photographer, publicity director and board member. Ondertussen kwam hij ook in aanraking met de blues en daarin werd hij bijzonder aangetrokken door de vertolkers van de Chicagostijl waaronder favoriete exponenten als Johnny Young en John Little John. B.J. bestudeerde de Chicagostijl en ging uiteindelijk terug tot de archetypische oervormen van de blues. Het waren deze invloeden die hem deden besluiten om in de jaren zeventig definitief over te stappen naar een te formeren bluesband onder zijn eigen naam. Zijn band begeleide Amerikaanse artiesten als Eddy Burns en Eddie C. Campball tijdens tournees door Europa. In de jaren 80 waren ze supportact bij B.B. King. Door omstandigheden gedwongen volgde begin jaren 90 een periode van relatieve rust. Vanaf 1995 tot 2008 treedt hij weer regelmatig op. In 2008, op zijn 65e, doet hij een stapje terug. B.J. Hegen is een uitstekend gedocumenteerd kenner van de blues en dan vooral van de Chicagoblues waaraan hij op het podium zijn eigen interpretatie heeft gegeven. Elke vergelijking gaat artisitiek en inhoudelijk mank, maar B.J. Hegen mag, zaker in het Noorden van het land, een evenknie genoemd worden naast bluescoryfeeen als Harry Muskee (Cuby and the Blizzards) en Fred Reining (Left Hand Freddy an the Aces): ze zijn alle drie goed in hun eigen stijl. | |

| Search | Add | 9 | Shahir Piraji Sarnaik | सरनाईक, पिराजीराव | सरनाईक, पिराजीराव : (जन्म : २८ जुलै १९०९ – मृत्यू : ३० डिसें.१९९२). महाराष्ट्रातील प्रसिद्ध शाहीर. जन्म कोल्हापूर येथे अत्यंत गरीब घराण्यात झाला. त्यांनी बालपणी कोल्हापुरातील शिवाजी पेठेतील पंत अमात्य बावडेकर यांच्या तालमीत लाठी-दांडपट्टा आणि कुस्तीचे शिक्षण घेतले.त्यांचे वस्ताद नारायणराव यादव यांना कुस्ती आणि पोवाड्याचे वेड होते. ते करवीरदरबारी शाहीर लहरी हैदर यांची कवने गाऊन दाखवीत.याच तालमीत त्या काळी नामवंत शाहीर नानिवडेकर हे दांडपट्ट्याची प्रात्यक्षिके करून दाखवीत व पोवाडेही म्हणून दाखवीत. असे असंख्य शाहीर या तालमीत महाराष्ट्रातून येत.या साऱ्यांचा प्रभाव पिराजीरावांच्या कलेची प्रेरणा ठरली.त्यांनी १९३१ च्या सुमारास कोल्हापुरातील शिवाजी पेठेतील चौकात पोवाडेगायनाचा पहिला कार्यक्रम सादर केला.हा कार्यक्रम पाहून पुण्यातील सार्वजनिक गणेशोत्सवात त्यांना पोवाडा सादरीकरणाचे कार्यक्रम मिळाले.अत्यंत सुरेल व खड्या आवाजाच्या देणगीमुळे हे कार्यक्रम कमालीचे यशस्वी झाले.त्यामुळे शाहिरांना मानसन्मान व कीर्ती मिळाली.भरपूर रियाज आणि मोजक्या वाद्यांच्या साथीत शाहिरांचे कार्यक्रम अतिशय स्फूर्तिदायक व भारदार होऊ लागले.त्यामुळे त्यांना अमाप प्रसिद्धी मिळाली.त्यांचे मुंबई आकाशवाणी केंद्रावर अनेकदा कार्यक्रम प्रसारित झाले.पोवाडा,फटका, ओवी,गोंधळ,लावणी अशा प्रकारांत अनेक स्वरचित रचना त्यांनी सादर केल्या.त्याबरोबरच शाहीर लहरी हैदर,ग. दि. माडगूळकर,वसंत बापट आदींच्या काव्य रचनाही त्यांनी आकाशवाणी,चित्रपट व नाटकातून स्वतः गाऊन अजरामर केल्या.सावकारी पाश या चित्रपटासाठी त्यांनी पार्श्वगायन केले. एच.एम.व्ही.व कोलंबिया कंपनीने त्यांच्या ध्वनिफिती काढल्या.त्या काळी हा एक विक्रमच ठरला.सन १९५० साली शाहीर पिराजीराव सरनाईकांनी स्वतः पुढाकार घेऊन कोल्हापुरातील खासबाग मैदानात भव्य असे शाहिरी संमेलन घडवून आणले.दिल्ली येथे झालेल्या अखिल भारतीय रेडिओ संमेलनात भारताचे तत्कालीन प्रधानमंत्री पं.जव्हारलाल नेहरू व रशियाचे प्रधानमंत्री बुलग्यानीन यांच्यासमोर त्यांना कार्यक्रम करण्याची संधी मिळाली.त्यांच्या एकूण कामगिरीमुळे शाहिरी पेशाकडे पाहण्याचा समाजाचा दृष्टिकोन बदलला.कोल्हापुरातील सत्यशोधक समाजाच्या अधिवेशनाचा शाहीरतिलक हा सन्मान (१९३६),छत्रपती शाहू महाराजांनी दिलेला शाहीर विशारद हा किताब (१९५०),शाहू स्मारक समितीचा शाहू पुरस्कार (१९८८),शाहीर अमर शेख प्रतिष्ठानचा गदिमा पुरस्कार (१९९०) इत्यादी पुरस्कारांनी त्यांना सन्मानित करण्यात आले.सुरेल आणि खड्या आवाजाबरोबरच खणखणीत शब्दोच्चार,लिखाण व सादरीकरण या सर्वच बाबतीत शाहीर पिराजीराव सरनाईक शाहिरीतील कोहिनूर हिरा ठरले.त्यांचा पुतळा कोल्हापुरात केशवराव भोसले नाट्यगृहाच्या प्रांगणात कलारसिकांनी उभारला आहे. |
