Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

The Zonophone project aims at approaching music as an art project, where texture, ambiance and repetition is at the heart of his production method. Zonophone has been active since 2003, and through his different albums, touches themes of politics, culture, society and the rhythms of modern life.

That same year, he performed a instrumental live, for the rst time. He moves away from the stage during 2018 working on new projects like "Exit Road": a EP which contains 2 dark electro tracks. In early 2019, he returns with "Acid Rain": the logical continuation of "Exit Road", with a powerful electo. | Search | Add | 5 | Houston! | HOUSTON! formed in 2006 as a hard rock act formed by four young musicians coming from different styles and stories, Niko, Gaby, Phil and Dave, respectively vocals, bass, guitar and drum. In the first year they recorded a demo called “Never alcoholized” and they started building themselves a name around the live scene in Piacenza, Italy After a few months, the band enters the studio to record the first album “Fast in elegance” which opens the doors to the international collaboration with the US based label Sliptrick Records. We are in february 2008. In april HOUSTON! is the opening act for the Vengeance, a famous Dutch band, and due to an extraordinary live performance, demonstrating once again their natural feel for the stage, they get in touch with Erik Prins, manager of Mam Agency, starting a new collaboration. In october, following a series of gigs in the north of Italy, the band heads for the Netherlands and Belgium for its first european tour which rises a lot of attention and reaches new fans. Back in Italy HOUSTON! start working on the tracks for the new album “Mechanical sunshine”. When the new drummer Giovanni “Nello” Savinelli joins the band the music becomes more articulate and complex, the vocals become more aggressive making the perfect pair with the blistering guitar riffs. At the end of april 2009 the band is once again on tour across Europe raising positive reactions and expanding the number of band’s fans. Most of the gigs are sold out! After the tour the band signs with Tanzan Music for the release of the long awaited second album “Mechanical sunshine” which will be available in summer 2011.

| Search | Add | 5 | Le Feeling | Le Feeling | Le Feeling composes and performs live soundtracks to radical, often censored, queer films. The “band” is comprised of Thomas John Roach, Jr. and Daniel Paul Boucher. Tom spent many years playing bass for Minneapolis-based band Lifter Puller and regularly collaborates with Wolfgang Tillman’s band Fragile. Dan spent an almost decade playing drums and various other instruments for Boston-based sculpture/rock/experimental performance art collective Neptune. Le Feeling sounds nothing like any combination of any of those aforementioned bands. Drawing inspiration from the films, writings and cultural contributions of Jean Genet, Chantal Ackerman, Derek Jarman, David Wojnarowicz, Kenneth Anger and Guy Maddin (amongst others), the musical arc bends closer to the light of ethereal, industrial, new wave, non-wave, possibly pretty, inexpensive jazz, psychedelic anti-music and danceable if you’re terrible at math. Dan and Tom met at Jacques Cabaret in Boston in 2003. Soon after that chance meeting, Dan found himself stranded in Paris due to a canceled tour with his former band. Tom, who was living in Paris at that time, invited Dan to sleep on the couch for the remaining month. During that month, the two spent an absurd amount of time at the most tragic, most amazing, yet cheapest gay bar within walking distance. The bar was called Le Feeling. |

The band, originally a trio consisting of Spekis, Craig, and Vavro, formed in the spring of 2008 and quickly released their debut, ‘EP’, on June 17, 2008. ‘EP’ was completed in do-it-yourself fashion with the members tackling all duties themselves (writing, recording, releasing, and distributing), their only background education coming from the school of trial-and-error. In the spring of 2009, Satin Gum added a fourth member, Jonathan Gunnell, on guitar and keyboards. Gunnell was a longtime friend of the band and had attended many of their early shows. He was somewhat reluctant to join at first due to an already busy work/school schedule, but he was bribed by The Gum with external hard drives, a troll doll collection, and unlimited cold beers. Satin Gum digitally released their first full-length album, ‘LP’, on August 27, 2009. A CD release followed in September. This effort was recorded & engineered by lead Gum dude Spekis with Gunnell handling mixing & mastering. On July 22, 2010, Satin Gum released ‘EP2′ which was regarded as the “most underrated local release of the year” by Andy Mulkerin of Pittsburgh’s City Paper. This was the first Satin Gum release where the mastering job was assigned to someone outside of the band, one Garrett Haines (of TreeLady Studios) who declared, “This album screams “HIT ME HARD!” Satin Gum’s latest effort, ‘EP3′, was released on September 20, 2011. Since their inception, Satin Gum has shared the stage with prominent musical artists such as Jesse Malin, Frightened Rabbit, Smith Westerns, We Are Scientists, Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin, Cymbals Eat Guitars, and French Kicks. The Gum’s songs have been placed in major television shows such as The Good Wife on CBS. No strangers to a delectable chow, the band members are often seen in their downtime enjoying a sandwich known as the “Leroy Brown”, a half-pound of Angus topped off with homemade BBQ sauce, sugar-glazed peppercorn bacon, and cheddar cheese.

| Search | Add | 5 | Jerome Zonder | French Artist. Born in Paris in 1974. Jérôme Zonder lives and works in Paris (France). A graduate of the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2001, Jérôme Zonder has been developing a virtuoso body of work for over twenty years, focusing on the constantly reinvented practice of drawing. The variations in scale of his works - mainly done in graphite and charcoal - generate games of circulation in space: the visitor wanders spatially and mentally in the mysteries of an extremely lively polygraphic system. In his work, references to Albrecht Dürer, Robert Crumb, Rembrandt, Charles Burns, Otto Dix and Walt Disney rub shoulders to compose stories with heterogeneous, sometimes cruel themes: "The narration brings us into the drawing, the body alone keeps us on the surface. For me, drawing is constantly being between distance and proximity, figuration and abstraction, attraction and repulsion." The uniqueness of his narrative, historical and sociological approach combined with his great technical mastery make Jérôme Zonder one of the most interesting designers of his generation. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Divorze | In the 1980s, a group of young people in Helmond started rapping, dancing, and DJing at school parties. They initially called themselves Sonic Divorze Posse and took part in the W.A.P.S. rap and beatbox battles in Amstelveen and Amsterdam in 1987. When they discovered that there was already a group from Amsterdam with the name Sonic, they dropped that part of their name. From then on, they were simply called Divorze. [a=DJ Charm (2)] became the group’s regular DJ and producer. Together with [a= Speed One] (formerly Beatbusters), they created beats using drum machines like the Roland TR-808 and the Amiga 500. They learned a lot from the group [a=bugas], with whom they also performed. At that time, the group consisted of: Charm (DJ), SpeedOne and [a=soke] (rappers), [a=Paddy T] (bassist/manager), [a=S.C.T.], Eas, and Rolls Roy. Divorze performed in the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium. They had the opportunity to record an album with the Runn label, which primarily specialized in reggae. Due to technical issues and lack of experience, their 1990 album [r=1416836] didn’t turn out as they had hoped. Nevertheless, the group earned considerable attention and respect. They opened for major acts like Run DMC, De La Soul, and Paris, and were even invited to join Public Enemy’s European tour. However, some members needed to finish school, so they decided not to take the offer. In 2017, Speedone, DJ Charm, and Soke decided to revive Divorze. They created new tracks and performed at Urban Matterz 2018 in Helmond. Their style remained true to classic hip-hop: boom-bap beats and lyrics with a message. In 2019, [l=Dutch Gems] —a label dedicated to releasing classic Dutch hip-hop—put out the EP [m=1618936] featuring a selection of exclusive tracks from 20 years of Divorze Posse. In 2024, Speedone released a solo album titled King of the South. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Fred Mauck | Label owner and studio engineer. Fredrick R. Mauck was born April 24, 1913, in Yetter, Iowa. He was active as a clarinetist in the Boone (Iowa) High School band as well as a member of the school’s orchestra and chamber orchestra. By 1932, he was also a student director for the school orchestra. Throughout the 1930s, he “…traveled the Midwest with the Freddie Mauck Orchestra,” according to his obituary in the 'Quad City Times'. The band is reported to have traveled a territory ranging from Iowa to the Canadian Border, and south through Kansas. The Freddie Mauck Orchestra is reported to have disbanded on December 31, 1936. From 1939 until the time of his retirement, Fred is frequently listed as a film projectionist at venues like The Paradise Theatre in Moline, Illinois (1939 into the 1940s), The Roxy Theatre in Moline (around 1945 to at least 1955) and The Spruce Hills Twin Theater in Bettendorf, Iowa (around 1977-1979). By 1949, Fred and his first wife, Mayphine, resided at a Moline address shared with a transcription recording business known as [l1859176]. It’s presumed that this business, which produced program content for local radio stations and rehearsal recordings for nearby dance studios, was the genesis of [l247100] Records. Fred’s marriage to Lois Hansen in 1951 inspired the name of the Fredlo label, resulting from a contraction of the names Fred and Lois. The studio relocated from Moline across the river to Davenport, Iowa, around 1956, with the Maucks living on the second floor above the recording facility. After shutting down the studio in 1976, Fred spent two more years as a projectionist before retiring with his wife to the community of Grand Marais, Minnesota, where he passed away March 11, 1995. | |
