Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Barbara Nadel | Barbara Nadel is an English crime-writer. Many of her books are set in Turkey, others in London's East End. She is best known for her Istanbul-set Çetin İkmen novels. Born in the East End of London, Barbara Nadel trained as an actress before becoming a writer. Now writing full-time, she has previously worked as a public relations officer for the National Schizophrenia Fellowship's Good Companion Service and as a mental health advocate for the mentally disordered in a psychiatric hospital. She has also worked with sexually abused teenagers and taught psychology in schools and colleges, and was the patron of The Acorn Group in Shrewsbury, a charity (now apparently closed following a cut in funding) caring for those in emotional and mental distress. She has been a regular visitor to Turkey for more than 25 years. Until late 2014, Nadel lived in "the wilds of the north of England" with her husband and six axolotls, her "very demanding Persian cat" having died on 23 December 2011, but then moved from the Pennines to "a small village in Essex just outside London". Her son is a comic book writer. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Autoph | Zach Oblinger | Autoph began producing music as a hobby in 2018, collaborating with his long-time friend Homie Churn on his debut track, Winner. Building on this early success, he teamed up with Baltimore-native DDK on 'In My Dreams' and worked with his close friend Magne$on on the next lead single 'You Don't Have To Worry' for their album PHOENIX, released in May 2022. The album's soulful, sample-based production and unique take on hip-hop captured the attention of Doc Blackwell, CEO of Lions Den 360 Music Group, leading to Autoph’s signing as a producer and his continued work out of BoomHouse Studios in Bremerton, WA. In addition to his growing career as a producer, Autoph has been actively involved with The Residency Seattle, an organization dedicated to empowering young artists through mentorship and music education. In November 2024, Autoph reached a career milestone by opening for Macklemore at the iconic Benaroya Hall, an unforgettable performance that further cemented his reputation as a rising star in the industry. Autoph’s latest project, AUTOMATIC, released in March 2024, stands as the largest producer album to emerge from his hometown of Bremerton. The album showcases his evolution as an artist, pushing the boundaries of Seattle hip-hop and highlighting his versatility and creativity. Beyond his album, Autoph has released standout singles, including 'What A Shame' by WINTR SKYES and 'Like Me' by Veezy. Both tracks exemplify his ability to craft innovative and memorable music. While his early involvement with DocLuvTheKids remains a testament to his roots, Autoph’s current focus on mentorship and collaboration through The Residency Seattle demonstrates his commitment to uplifting others in the music community. |

Apparently an ad hoc ensemble put together to perform at Al's Horseshoe Club in Rock Island, Illinois, while the musicians were on break from their main gigs during the month of March 1948. Bellson, Shavers, and DeFranco were on leave from the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra while Dorsey spent the month vacationing on his yacht in Florida with Jane New, his third wife, whom he married in Atlanta on March 27, 1948. Simmons was on break from Benny Goodman's band, and Ike Quebec was on leave from Cab Calloway's group. Tenor saxophonist [a257115] had been on the gig for about a week before being relieved by Quebec, according to an ad in "The Argus" of Rock Island (March 4, 1948, page 21). Pianist [a265629] performed with the group at the Horseshoe Club but was represented on the recordings by Bellson's Moline High School classmate Keith Greko.

| Search | Add | 2 | Les Sirocco | Trio of Montreal (Québec, Canada) performers composed of Hélène Vanier, Francine Jarry and Frankie Hart. Also known as: Les Filles Sirocco, The Sirocco Singers. Hélène Vanier and Francine Jarry had done their secretarial courses together. Hélène was secretary and Francine, press officer at Expo '67. She knew Frankie Hart well, who was secretary of the newspaper The Gazette, and the three girls decided to share the same apartment. All three sang for their pleasure and played a little guitar. They had never studied singing but had learned the piano for several years, they said to themselves one day, "Why not sing together", and they set to work. At the time, they had no thought of making a career. And then, thanks to an acquaintance, they participated in the contest show "Like Young", on CFCF (channel 12) in May 1967 and won the prize. They continued to work in their respective offices until September, but the offers of commitments were so numerous after this issue that they decided to try their luck. During a visit to New York in the fall of '67, they had an unforgettable experience: singing on the stage of the famous "Lamb' Club". A Sullivan Company producer heard them and was impressed. He took them under his protection! Mexico and Europe were sources of inspiration for Francine and Hélène: each, having visited several countries, discovering in each place either a song or an air of music that pleased her. They had chosen their name well: Les Sirocco, just on the eve of their appearance on TV and in 15 minutes, pressed as they were by the director who threatened them with the joke, to give them one that would not be beautiful. They wanted a name that is quite easily pronounced in all languages, foreshadowing or premonition of their future international career. They sing in French, English, Spanish, German, Italian and Hebrew. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Sunset Scream | Roby Arduini & Max Marani | It is VERY common in the Euro Trance world of music to come upon a one hit wonder artist or band, and unfortunately for the Sunset Scream band they were a one hit wonder band signed to the Italian division of Saifam Records. There is absolutely no official information released by Saifam on who Sunset Scream is except that in the credits on the back of the record it says the names abbreviated of the people involved in making the song "Angel" and its obvious that it was a two person band. Sunset Scream had one hit in Europe and that was their Angelo Venuto styled hit "Angel". After the vinyl was released Sunset Scream was never heard from again, but small yet not really good news about a possible come back was spread around for a very brief period of time. The only known fact about who was part of this band was that producers Roby Arduini & Max Marani were behind the distributions of the vinyl and also the two DJs who provided the keyboards for the band, though no info on who the female singer was. |

He uses electric guitar to produce minimalist and organic ambient passages, with occasional intrusions into space rock territories. Improvisation is central to his compositions, which are meant to be heard live. He is constantly torn between natural guitar sounds and their abstract deformations. His debut album, “Astronomical Winter”, was released on Geology Records in 2022. Photo credits: Filip Preis (www.instagram.com/filippreis), Jerzy Wypych (www.instagram.com/jerzy.wypych).

Adopting the classic formula of the POWER TRIO and rejecting any temptation to lock the blues into a sort of nostalgic folklore of America in the 40s, the MOOSE produces original compositional work nourished by the psychedelic rock of the 70's. In the tradition of great bluesmen of today like Eric Gales or Warren Haynes, they open the blues to multiple influences, to offer highly electric and groovy music

| Search | Add | 2 | Angelique En Haar Ondeugende Vriendinnen | Angelique was a Dutch novelty project, specifically created for the single [r=982802], a parody of the 1982 Eurovision winner [m=128000]. The single went to the number 1 spot in The Netherlands during the summer of 1982, just weeks after the German original hit the peak position in the charts. The album [m=2144449] was compiled, and several singles followed, none as successful as the first. The album [r=11857357] was released in 1983 and the final single, [r=6340149], was issued in 1985. There were three singers voicing Angelique, as well as several other characters on the debut album. Jazz singer [a2624710] revealed she sang the number 1 hit [r=982802], while [a7749814] was the lead vocalist on the single's B-side, as well as on most other tracks of the first and second album. It is as-of-yet unknown who the singer on the final single was. The Angelique project was the most popular example of naughty or even vulgar Dutch parody songs, a trend that existed from the 1970s throughout the 1990s and, in some form, until today. | |
