Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | Tsunami Rising | Tsunami Rising | Tsunami Rising formed in the winter of 2003 as a three piece act playing punk influenced reggae and ska around the South Jersey and Philly scenes promoting a self-produced, 10 song release. A new singer in 2005 brought new energy and influences of rock and hip hop to the group and the evolution of their sound has been evident. The band began to develop their niche in the local music scene playing Atlantic City and Philadelphia regularly while expanding to New York’s the Knitting Factory, Asbury Park’s Stone Pony, Philly’s Grape Street Pub, North Star Bar, Pontiac Grille, Trocadero and more. In January 2007 Tsunami Rising organized their first East Coast tour and has been hitting the road often since. Since, the band has toured both coasts and is continuously playing regionally. The addition of a new guitarist in Spring 2009 has added a progressive touch to the Tsunami style. Tsunami Rising continues to grow as individuals and as a band bringing their style of conscious reggae-rock along with their strong message to listeners all over. |

He has lived and worked in Berlin since 2010.. Broutin studied Art History at the University of Paris and the École du Louvre. Alongside other artists such as Maurice Lemaître, Roland Sabatier, Alain Satié, François Poyet or Jean-Pierre Gillard in particular, Broutin meets Isidore Isou in 1968 and from then on participates in most of the events and literary exhibitions of the lettrist movement. His first pictorial works were shown in March 1969, during the exhibition “Today Lettrism and Hypergraphy” at Galerie Stadler in Paris. The scattered elements that he proposes—lines of writing, hieroglyphic ideograms, empty compartments, precisely drawn—evolve towards the creation of a personal alphabet, made of notional signs, mainly animals and plants, which will be his particular mark.

He expanded his video art repertoire to incorporate intelligent lighting, laser and lego robotics. Fusing these mediums into dynamic illuminated projection design. Other incidental offshoot mediums included recycled material sculpture, print design & t-shirts. A culmination of years of experimentation in these various mediums informed the creation of the iSOtope144 vj performance map using the UT game engine. Adem has performed at television studios, galleries, and rave and party spaces. In the late nineties he also ventured into 3D animation for commercial art in its various forms. Besides VJ Mandala since 1998 he previously used the aliases "Nuero" ('88-'91) and "Tekno Mandala" ('91-'98). |

SUD X.T.’s early sound reflected the heavy influence of French drum machine-punk pioneers Metal Urbain, as they fused the rock’n’roll rhythm of their drum machine with a pulsating bass and double guitar attack, rounded out by the group’s nihilistic/futuristic lyrics. In 1985, after the band took a few years hiatus, Vortex restarted SUD X.T. with all new right-wing politics, all new members, and a more straight-forward, oi!-influenced sound that reflected his idealistic jump to ultra-nationalism.

At the beginning of 1990, the first album was released by the ACIT label, with the songs "Minutos" and "Garota Linda", written by Ademir Mezacasa and Ademar Flach, both band members. These songs were very popular on mainstream radio stations in the state of Rio Grande do Sul and in the same year of release they were part of a compilation album released by the label. From then on, the band began to perform in clubs in the capital and in the main places of the countryside, conquering a large number of admirers. The next step was the recording of the album "Nossa Canção", released in 1992, with the song "Minha Lady" as its single, a Brazilian Portuguese version of "You're a Woman" by Appledat Hendrix Van Halen, which was immediately accepted by listeners. With these hits, concerts began to take place in many cities of Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina.

Search | Add | 3 | Necrofulgurate | NECROFULGURATE hailed from the United States, and released two demos in super-limited editions. It was a one-time project, helmed by one man, intended for vile, raw death metal: NECROFULGURATE was hateful of all trends and posers, and suitably aimed for its music to be a rejection of that. Thus, it rejected lofty metaphysical concepts so prevalent in nowadays death metal and instead stuck to violent, war-themed lyrics espousing a hatred for mankind. Similarly, minimal equipment was used, with intentionally simplistic riffing that showed complexity in the smallest of details, nor was any "atmosphere" intentional. NECROFULGURATE never intended for either of its two demos to be released - in fact, they were almost deleted - but support from underground labels changed that. No gimmicks, no frills, no mystery: NECROFULGURATE's epitaph is written with Putrid Veil.

Search | Add | 3 | The Reg Coates Experience | The Reg Coates Experience from Manchester, UK, became known after the Reg Coates Combo split in the early 70s for a short period. The combo often contained one or more of Reg's brothers. The new band only contained the best available musicians. Two long standing lead guitarists were Dave Dunne from Wythenshawe and Harry Barber (who sadly died a few years ago) from New Mills. Bass players and drummers came and went regularly due to Reg's high level of ability and low tolerence of alcohol problems but these 2 guys were around for many years. Jason Coates, Reg's son, joined the band for 5 years as a bass player from 86 to 91 and now lives in Portugal.
