Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Raised on Irish traditional music and the son of Dutch folk-singer Jack Groenland, he was exposed to a range of influences before falling in love with soul music. Influences include Marvin Gaye, Crosby, Stills & Nash, D'Angelo and anything that makes a head nod in time. He plays and records with a team of top jazz and funk players called The Major 7ths. Groenland specialises in warm vocal harmonies, flute solos, conscious lyrics and positive grooves. "A cast of impeccable musicians bathe the Dubliner's neo-soul songs in crisp and uncluttered R&B, pop and funk." The Sunday Times "An album that is a groove-laden joy to behold, a record that delivers perfectly polished positive vibes." Goldenplec "Danny G has an almost scientific ability to deliver the smoothest and most velvetine soul sound, this man knows his shit when it comes to honouring the genre in the most respectful and brilliant way" - REMY "Fans of Thundercat and even soul acts like Leon Bridges will find much to enjoy in the soaring vocal lines and swung bass grooves" - Nialler 9

In the late 1970's Asbjørn Hollund and Roar Nordhagen joined, and the group changed name to To+To+To. For their recording debut three years later, they changed the name to 2+2+2 ("To" is Norwegian for the number 2, but the record company felt that spelling it with digits would be more "marketable"). Two years after that, Elisabeth Nordhagen left the group to focus on her family, and Tom Sennerud and Rune Rudberg joined the group. Appears to have been active till early 1985, after which the two Holm sisters and Rune Rudberg continued as the short-lived [a1459122].

| Search | Add | 3 | Discröyd | DISCRÖYD from Munich/Bavaria is a metal band with a well-marked DIY-attitude. Based on their diverse individual influences they cover several metal and rock-styles from Thrash and Hardcore to Hard Rock and Doom, creating a unique alcohol-soaked sound - oldschool without being antiquated and heavy without being monotonous. Their story began in 2008 when the two ex-Hateful Agony members Matt (guitar) and Marty (bass) decided to start Munich's next big thing after meeting and drinking at a Hanoi Rocks concert. Shortly afterwards AD/AC Motörwelt drummer Matthias joined the band (then called Beermöb). Tim, singer and guitarist of Speedwhore, completed the line-up in late 2008 after having quite a few drinks with Matt in a bar. Several months later they finished writing songs for their first album, started to play gigs and began to record their first full lengths album by themselves – now under the name of DISCRÖYD. Their lyrics cover much-loved topics like alcohol abuse (say what?!), sex and violence, but also obscure, science fiction and sociocritical themes. So far they shared the stage with bands like The Accüsed, Ramming Speed, Alpha Tiger, Indyus and many more. The band finally released their first self-titled CD in late 2013 - also available as a limited cassette tape. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | the trve Bapphoman | A collective of artists from Italy, writing music under aliases, active since 2002. The collective claim to be the musical branch of an esoteric order. Thematically, their lyrics are various degrees of satire targeting the Italian's and World's politics, popular culture and musical subcultures (especially Black Metal and Metal as a whole). The collective remained quite elusive, spreading some handmade demo compilations with dozens of songs of very different styles, until 2022, when it signed with Nycticorax Production. From there, The Trve Bapphoman started to publish official remastered compilations of new and old songs. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | One Lifeless Eye | James McCrea | One Lifeless Eye is the audio counterpart to the visual art of James McCrea. Each piece of music is a distinct narrative, the basic audio lexicon for which was developed through two year's worth of experimentation beginning with an unnamed demo recording in 2003 and culminating in the release of Shattered, under the name Narcotic Dreams, in 2005. The name Narcotic Dreams was dropped in lieu of One Lifeless Eye in 2007 when the project became more focused on nightmare visions and personal occurrences, with more emphasis on composition than experimentation. Live performances are automatic, using very little pre-conceived musical parts though still utilizing the basic lexicon used in the audio recordings. With each piece of music, whether created spontaneously during a live performance or meticulously arranged over time, there is always distinct imagery driving the formation of each sound. Enough space is left for the listener to interpret the events as they may, though the emotions at the core are often absolute. |

His music is a thankful surprise with its sky-rending hybridization of eastern european guitar spree & 70s snowdazed modal folkrock. Resonant drums burst through the giant aluminum churn of guitar, voice, and percussion arcing overhead. Dancing between poles of hot motion & cool mass, Sergey’s impressively energetic numbers establish themselves long enough to each become deeply meaningful, essential scenes in his pan shamanic expression. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Spacedays | Spacedays are a rock band from Singapore. Founded in 2009, their compositions bear close associations to the late 1960s psychedelic music subcultures. Audiences have also drawn close parallels to American garage rock bands. Although, their sonic affinities lie with music subcultures abroad, lyrically, Rahmat "Mamat" Suliman (vocals/keyboards/guitar) writes about daily experiences and relationships in the urban confines of Singapore. “Some days we just need some space to observe and to reflect,” he muses. Having released the debut psychedelic garage rock LP, Is It In The Circle?, as a two-piece alongside co-founder and long time collaborator, Shakir "Shaks" Samat (drums) in January 2013, Mamat roped in Zaki Shariff (keyboards) and Mohamed Hanis (bass) to expand their repertoire and explore their self-proclaimed “psychedelic groove rock” genre characterized by a guitar-driven sonic space complemented by the added textures of the “cosmic” upper registers of the keyboards. The band released Moondust, the band's second EP, in February 2014 as part of a collaboration project with Lomography Blue Hour Sessions, The Rockstar Collective (RSC), graphic designer Djohan Hanapi and visual projection artist Wu Jun Han. The EP was launched to a crowded Home Club audience on 21 Feb 2014. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Ska Maria Pastora | Ska Maria Pastora | The band Ska Maria Pastora from Recife in state of Pernambuco/Brazil is another great example of Afro Diaspora in the Americas. For sure a very special one since the inspiration for their music come from another Afro Diaspora with a not less grand history in the world music as their home country itself. We are talking about Ska the rhythm that originated in Jamaica in the late 1950s and was the precursor of rocksteady and reggae. To mention a legendary band representing this music and active nowadays in different constellation of musicians, The Skatalites, a reference in Ska Maria Pastora’s work. Here we are with a dose of Afro Diaspora with an amazing connection, Brazil and Jamaica. These are separated just geographically, however deeply united through their African ancestry. Despite being under two criminal colonial methods, the Portuguese and the British, in both cases people’s resistance gave birth to musical rhythms that have conquered the world with a method less criminal than the one used by their colonizers. Politics and history are important, but let us concentrate on what these guys do best, MUSIC! Ska is a very well-known music genre, although not that much in Brazil, where people are normally busy with their own genres. In Recife you have Coco, Maracatu, Forró and many others. Ska Maria Pastora’s main influence is Frevo, a dance and musical style originated from Recife and which rhythm is similar to Ska. The band does a superb job in merging and integrating these two hot styles. Its interpretation of Jamaican Ska with the addition of north-Brazilian influences lets us enjoy something that everyone knows but with a lot of elements that only people in that region of Brazil know. For those in the world who are not familiar with the way how Brazilian musical junction works, be prepared! Ska Maria Pastora shows what it is to rediscover and revisit Ska music through a passion, energy and inspiration that uses the harmonies of Frevo in order to poison Jamaican music. The result is an effervescent dance music, typically neither refined nor popular, universal but with identity. Formed in 2008, Ska Maria Pastora is an instrumental music project of musicians who have in common a taste for Ska, Reggae and, of course, Frevo. Taking advantage of the similarity between these styles, the band made Olinda’s main rhythm Frevo the melodic basis for their Ska compositions. Ska Maria Pastora has been influenced by Capiba, Nelson Ferreira, Spok Frevo Orchestra, Rotterdam Ska Jazz Foundation, Don Drummond and The Skatalites, the main exponent of ska, who mixed European music with the Caribbean. |

Handful of shows were played with the new line-up in the fall of 2014. During the long and cold winter, there was plenty of time to record the first release "Forte Ruin EP." After a couple of months of rehearsal, they played at their first time in San Telmo, sharing the stage with 2 Minutos, Superuva, Mal Momento, Fun People, Olor a pata ,Contrabando, and more friendly bands. After a time of change of members, Los Subversivos continue to play stage with several bands all parts of the country including outside as M.C.D and Soziedad Alkoholika of the Basque countrie and Los Crudos of the United States. Recording his first independent album in 1995 Flamearé mi bandera and a second album in 1999 Resignarse es morir, a live album in Forrest, Santiago del Estero. Flamearé mi bander was published in Spain and based on that they recorded a vinyl with Urban DK (United States band) that was published in the United States, France and Spain. Apart from having participated in several compilations. At 16, after seeing Sumo and Todos Tus Muertos live, Kike knew he wanted to have his own group. "The savagery, and the original sound of those bands, and being able to enjoy them live, marked me." This is how Kike Andrada remembers what he felt in the late eighties. With their companions from school of Del Viso, Buenos Aires, they had the habit of going to recitals in the Parakultural. At that time he also meets "Koko" Quintana, thanks to a mutual friend. "I had been skateboarding, and I was already listening to Suicidal Tendencies, Exploited, a couple of bands here," Koko recalls. There was Todos Tus Muertos, the first album had just come out. Kike made me listen. And at the same time we began to share everything that was music, until one day he made me the proposal to put together a band. Obviously, I was excited to start, and we began to see what we were going to do. Like any band that starts, out there influenced by the bands of the moment that one was listening. ” At first they joined together two to compose with an accoustic guitar, but then they looked for the missing members. Before starting with this project, both had already assembled the "Social Pop" fanzine, from which 3 numbers came out. The band's first line-up was composed by Leonardo "Koko" Quintana in voice, Jorge Antonio "Kike" Andrada on guitar, Betty López on bass (girlfriend at the time, and then Kike's wife), and Mario "El Flaco" Menesunda on drums (who later participated in addition to the thrash Estirpe group). The name they chose for the band was "Los Subversivos", in homage to the 30,000 missing. The debut show was at MacArthur, in 1989. "At that time, if they liked the band, it was a club. If they did not like the band, they would kick you out from stage, or not give to you any atention at all" Koko explains. "Then when we did the first gig the place exploded. Pogo was armed with all the old people of that time, who was easy to get in trouble" <laughs>. There the ice broke. " By that time the line up had changed: El Flaco Mario went from drums to bass, and on the drums was a boy from Belgrano (Buenos Aires) named Federico.
