Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Stephanie Brickey | Saint Louis, Missouri Stephanie Brickey: vocals. acoustic guitar, national guitar. Dave Brickey: bass and backing vocals. Gary Hunt: electric guitars, mandolin, dobro. Jack Petracek: drums. Successfully mixing modern folk lyricism with straight-ahead pop/rock arrangements and an Americana sensibility, Stephanie Brickey has come up with a distinct sound of her own. She calls on her diverse musical influences to embellish the traditional folk song and to keep the crowd moving with timeless, stand-out rock performances. Brickey has the ability to grind out a crowd-pleasing, high-octane rocker and then follow it with an irresistible lullaby so hauntingly beautiful it may leave you in tears. Brickey’s vocals complement the songs in a way that seems to accentuate the instrumental accompaniment rather than overshadow it, with a voice that’s somewhere between Margo Timmins and Linda Thompson. Brickey has been highly visible on the St. Louis music scene for some time performing as solo artist, as a member of SLIM (along with Lynn Reif and Mary Alice Wood) and as the frontperson for A Room Away. Stephanie Brickey’s sound is infectious and unique. Her songs are timeless, smart and alluring. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Dr. Alphonse Mabuse | Mike Murphy | Doc Mabuse, a.k.a. Mike Murphy, is a St. Louis native and founding member of that city’s HEARding Cats artists’ collective. He makes a living designing software and hardware (“wares, soft to firm to hard,” as he puts it) but spends most of his time building synthesizers, which he uses to make wild and entirely left-field improvised music. The instruments, which he labels either “modules” or “electroniums” (meaning “a synthesizer that acts suspiciously like it’s broken”), have names like The Jackelope, The Feminine Prerogative-Based Control-Voltage Generator and il Viaggio di Marconi, the last of which is a gorgeous object built from a box of chocolates he once received for Christmas. Murphy is co-founder of HEARding Cats along with [a448161] (a former percussionist with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra and music director of the St. Louis New Music Circle), Davey Williams (an avant-garde guitarist and co-founder of The Improviser, a journal of experimental music) and the jazz pianist and North Little Rock native Chris Parker. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Thee|22|SekkT | It has been said that the human brain takes 7 seconds to register a particular sound. This might be true. But to register a sound doesn't really mean anything. One has to remember, appreciate, and properly listen to a sound. To listen is not the same as to hear. Think about it. Thee|22|SekkT has put the 7 seconds "rule" to the test and found that it doesn't work. 22 seconds are needed to truly listen and appreciate a sound. It takes a bit of time to register what your ears are hearing. It needs to be processed properly. With this knowledge, Thee|22|SekkT was born. And it will be of no surprise that all the sounds are exactly 22 seconds long. Thee|22|SekkT's method of working is elegant in its simplicity. A track is recorded and then subtly changed in pitch, tone, what have you, thus creating a tiny symphony of constantly repeating yet slowly evolving sounds. Because of this, headphones are advised, as some parts of the symphonies might become nearly inaudible when listening to them on a regular stereo system. This project has a distinct single goal: to make the listener appreciate 22 second snippets of sounds, any sounds. Be it drone, ambient, noise, trance or whatever. | |

Still the secret leaked out soon enough: the project was headed by Jazz Sax player Gilad Atzmon, who played at the time with Si Heiman and was later to cooperate with Paul McCartney and Robert Wyatt (recording two albums with the latter), as well as achieving international acclaim as a solo artist. Atzmon later left Israel and became a vehement anti-Zionist activist, who boldly attacks Israel, the Zionist movement and the Jewish people. Other members of the project were sound engineer Gil Toren, Atmon's wife Tali Kaspitzki and Amit Ronel. | Search | Add | 3 | Adwoa Hackman | Adwoa Hackman, born 22 July 1974 in Munich (Germany), is a singer, songwriter and music producer based in London. She experiments between the sounds of Soul music and alternative RnB, with a passion for tribal percussive elements mainly from West Africa and India. In her newest works, Hackman uses songwriting as a window to reflect on her own personal experiences. She writes about her identity as a black queer woman in today’s society, as well as about self love, empowerment and the complexity of relationships. Her lyrics are driven by the intention of personal healing and growth, and helping others on their own journey. Hackman also plays guitar, bass and drums, always driven by the desire to express herself in the music from all angles. Adwoa has lived in Berlin for 15 years. She has performed in numerous clubs and festivals and gathered an ever-growing community of supporters. She released two albums, [m=2148235] (Deep As The Ocean, 2011) and [r=18926809] (Exile, 2015), which she received widespread praise by the press and the public. Adwoa now lives in London and started releasing new songs in the beginning of 2021. She released her song ‘Love Intro’ on 21 February. Her second single ‘Sealed With A Kiss’ came out on 8 April. The next release will be in May 2021. | |

It would not be an exaggeration to say that Nicolas Osorgin's whole life was connected with the estate at 93 rue de Crime, better known under the Russian name "Sergius Compound" ("compound" or "Saint-Serge's monastery"), which was transferred to him during his purchases, in 1924, by Metropolitan Evlogii. Nicolas Ossorgin was the second son of [a3709299] (1887–1950), a former officer in the cuirassier regiment of the Empress and marshal of the Kaluga nobility, and Countess Helene Muravieva-Vilenskaya (1893–1968). His parents emigrated after the Russian Revolution and the defeat of the White armies in the Crimea, first to Constantinople, then to Germany, and finally to Paris. On July 18, 1924 (on the day of the feast of the uncovering of the relics of St. Sergius of Radonezh according to the Julian calendar), Michel Ossorgin, on behalf of Metropolitan Evlog, acquired from public auction on behalf of the Metropolitan, property at 93 Crime Street, in Paris. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Dirty Lips | Dirty Lips was founded in 1989 in Hamburg, Germany by D.D. (Bass), Frank (Guitars & Vocals), Roger (Drums) and Thomy (Leadguitars). The four immediatly started touring in 1990 and gathering quite a following. D.D, Frank, Roger & Thomy won a contest in 1991 to record an early demo of three songs, which ended up on the 1993-album "Nothing's Better Than Your ...". They spent almost 8 weeks recording and engineering their first CD at Crossroads studio. After parting with guitar-player Thomy (he quit because of personal reasons), the band released a CD-single "Won't Cry" in 1998 as a three-piece. From 2000-2001 D.D., Frank and Roger played a few shows with guitarrist "Wenzel", then put the band on a hiatus until 2005 when they rejoined with original lead-guitar-player Thomy. The four of them started recording the follow-up-album "From Nothing To Now" in 2007, parting ways with Thomy again. He recorded five songs with the band and was not able to finish the whole CD. He was replaced by Roger younger brother Marco, who played on the remaining songs. "From Nothing To Now" was produced by Frank Haas and engineered and mixed by Markus Utke. It was released on their own label "Dirty Lips Records" on June 1st of 2012. D.D., Frank, Marco and Roger recorded a musicvideo for their single "Losing My Mind" starring German Porn Star "Sweet Sophie" in the end of the year. The band was saddened by the news that Thomy died in November 2012. RIP. | |
