Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | Inger Grudin-Brandt | Swedish harpsichordist, clavichordist and forte-pianist, born August 27, 1934, Stockholm, Sweden, died May 12, 2019. She belonged to the first batch of students at Stockholm's singing classes (now Adolf Fredrik's music classes) and she took piano lessons for Hilda Waldeland, among others. At the age of 14, the career choice was clear: she would become a pianist. After matriculation, she therefore began studying with Hans Leygraf in Darmstadt, but found after two years that her hands were not good enough for the large piano repertoire. A friend suggested that she study the harpsichord with Fritz Neumeyer in Freiburg instead. Neumeyer was one of the leading experts of his time in what is today called style-informed conducting practice and had a collection of playable older piano instruments in his home. He was also a warm advocate of the low-pitched but expressive clavichord. She stayed for four years. She was now firmly rooted in Germany, had started a family and made a living as a musician, but after a divorce she chose in 1970 to move back to Sweden together with her son Jens. Now begins what will become Inger's life's work: arousing interest in the historic piano instruments. She gets a driver's license and travels around the country in a Toyota bus loaded with harpsichords, clavichords and harpsichords, she gives concerts and organizes courses. Through her contacts with instrument manufacturers in Germany and the USA, she becomes a Swedish retailer of piano instruments and building kits for such. She records several discs, i.a. for the company BIS and is heard regularly on Sveriges Radio. By forming the association Svenska Klaverets Vänner, she realizes one of her artistic ideas: to let professionals and amateurs play for each other and socialize in pleasant ways.

Search | Add | 3 | Kunnan Pojat | Kunnan Pojat is the official Rovaniemi city band, established in 2017 by the Rovaniemi office of culture. The group consists mostly of Hannu Raudaskoski (producer/bass/guitars/vocals), Jari Karjalainen (vocals/guitar/keyboards/drums), Jaakko Niemi (drums/bass/guitars/vocals) and Tatu Kantomaa (accordion/keyboards), but since the project was established to employ long-term unemployed musicians periodically, Kunnan Pojat has featured around 15 employed musicians in their ranks, as well as a good number of guests in various special projects. Their main focus is to bring music to audiences that cannot seek it for one reason or another, such as people in elderly homes and small children in kindergartens, but they also do various kinds of side-projects, such as musical lectures in association with the Rovaniemi music library. Their main area of influence is the city and municipality of Rovaniemi. There was also another Kunnan Pojat in southern Finland, who were active in 2018-2021. As of February 2024, Kunnan Pojat of Rovaniemi have released four albums and a book, documenting the history of the group up to 2022.

Search | Add | 3 | Justinsayne N8V | Justin Leavitt | Justinsayne N8V exploded onto the independent underground scene in late 2012 with the release of his debut album “RED LIST.” He soon proved to be a serious force to be reckoned with, with his own original rock/rap/native style he calls “RAP & ROLL” or “Pop & Mosh.” His songwriting is smart, complex, and offers a strong positive message while at the same time reminding us of the real world we live in and how we can help change it for the better. He belts out songs of love and respect, real life struggles, and evolving as a race, as we stand up against oppression and hate in all forms. His songs are personal, deep, and straight from the heart, “angry feel good music.” Justinsayne N8V raps in many styles and also sings. He can bust out harmonies, as well as attack metal screams and swoon with a deep soulful smooth growl. He also gained a fast reputation for being a beast on stage and and tearing up live shows. His follow up album, “WAGON BURNER,” proved his talent was not limited to just one good album. It was a beautiful continuation of the brutal in-your-face headbangers mixed with melodic, dark overtones. His songwriting skills, again, are exceptional and thought provoking, backed by amazing music production, plenty of catchy heavy guitar riffs, 808 bass, and turntable scratch action, headbangers and and dance grooves. This Native American underground artist resides in the Northwest, was born and raised in Denver and all over the west. An ojibwe 7th fire warrior of the bear clan, from white earth reservation in Minnesota, he stays true to his roots and traditional ways, always sending positive and informative messages through his music. Justinsayne N8V has six national tours under his belt, touring with some of the biggest names in independent music, as well as performing at huge national festivals and building his home base of justinsayniacs in his home state of Oregon. He has been featured in over 40 collaboration songs with other artists and a familiar face in the underground hustler series of mixtapes. He has been nominated for numerous awards and Wagon Burner was named one of the 10 best albums of 2014 in Oregon. Since the release of his second album, he has toured and rocked stages across the nation non stop, building steam and gaining fans, releasing videos and new singles regularly to keep his justinsayniacs appeased. He has just finished his third album entitled “BORDERLINE PERSONALITY,” which promises to be another amazing journey through the heart, mind, and voice of the man that brings that native thunda. If you are wanting something fresh and completely original to bang your head to, look no further. This is rap for the person that hates rap! From ages 1 to 100, there’s something in there for you to groove too. Look him up online and on most all social media links,or catch him on stage in a city near you. You will not regret it. |

They broke up like burning out after releasing 6 songs demo in 2003, and the 10” album “Con La Venda Hacia La Pared.” The members are doing great in Blunt and Hongo and they’re deeply involved in the scene. SL’S3 hasn’t receive any recognition for some reason, and no one knows a lot about it, however its sound was a cross over of neo crust and post punk, moreover brought up a new possibility of the scene. This “Con La Venda Hacia La Pared”, which they consolidated its originality in, has been discontinued for a long time after they stopped, is being released as an official renewed CD.

Search | Add | 3 | Brishen | Canadian gypsy-jazz band. The Brishen line-up includes lead guitarist and leader Quinn Bachand with Richard Moody, a veteran of the Canadian folk music scene, on violin and viola, Reuben Wier on rhythm guitar and vocals and Joey Smith on upright bass. A lover of collaborative work, Quinn Bachand enjoys switching up the line up to keep it fluid, dynamic and exciting. Brishen may at times feature such artists as Connor Stewart on clarinet and saxophone, Tim Croft or Max Ridley on upright bass, Aaron Watson on rhythm guitar and accordion and soulful vocalists Maureen Washington or Emily Braden. Quinn Bachand's Brishen is much more than a Django-esque cover band. Brishen recreates the magic of Django Reinhardt, Stephane Grappelli and the Hot Club de France and in the process brings gypsy jazz into the 21st century and to a whole new generation of discerning music lovers.

Search | Add | 3 | Xenofanes | Xenofanes is a thrash/death metal band, based in Strängnäs, Sweden. Formed in February 1993, by Jocke Hasth (guitar) and Morgan Wiklund (drums and vocals) with Danne Sporrenstrand (guitar) joining soon after. Crille Lundin (bass) and Klabbe Alaphia (vocals) joined Xenofanes in the summer of 1994, completing the lineup, and the band was initially active until November 23, 1996. The decision to restart/reform the band came about in 2009, after Jocke and Crille "met over a cup of coffee", and Klabbe, Danne, and Morgan were all asked if they wished to join again, with Klabbe being the only former member interested. After recording a 2 song demo, with studio owner Henke Borg filling in on drums, the band recruited Mange Edqvist, in August 2011, completing their lineup

Search | Add | 3 | The Fourtune-Tellers | The Fourtune-Tellers formed 2006 in Stockholm when Andreas Jonsson and Mathias Westerlund joined forces and rented a rehearsal studio for themselves. Andreas took care of the drums while Mathias played guitar and discussions begun on what to name the band, and also what musicians to recruit for the band. They settled quickly for The Fourtune-Tellers and soon Kari Harström was recruited to play drums, and Andreas picked up the 2nd guitar and took care about the vocals. Old time friend Nicklas Olsson, living in Gothenburg but with plans on moving to Stockholm, was invited to play bass guitar. But awaiting Nicklas move, the band had to find a temporary bass player. Soon they asked Peter Rosén from The Moving Sounds to step in, which he did. After the second rehearsal Peter, very inspired and dedicated, asked the other members, "So, what's the plan, am I in or not?". Since Nicklas move seemed to be more talk than action, it was decided that Peter got the job permanently. Their debut EP Voodoo Girl was recorded at Göran Thungströms studio in Sundsvall, Sweden over an weekend, and released on copaseDisques in 2007. The band did several successful drunken gigs all around Europe, playing their own brand of sloppy and energetic neo garage punk. The follow up EP Don't Tell Me The Words was recorded at Real Studio by Per Ängkvist and released on copaseDisques in 2009. Soon after Kari left the band and drummer boy Handsome Hank Högberg joined forces. After a few years also Peter decided to leave the group, feeling being member of two bands was a bit too much and wanted more time for cycling. He played his last gig at Bassy in Berlin 13 February 2010, and was the same night offered a gig with The Fuzztones. Being determined to spend more time on cycling he turned down the offer much to Rudi's disappointment. Either way, the gig was a success and he went out with a BOOM! In came wonder kid Pontus Söderberg, a young man who brought new blood to the group. The sound became somewhat refined, but still keeping the punky edge. The band continued with successful and drunken sprees around Europe, and soon recorded Storm, a song penned by Jens Lindberg and given to the band exclusively. The band had met label mates The X-Ray Harpoons at Summer Safari in Halle, and soon after decided to release a split single, and Storm ended up on The Fourtune-Tellers side. It was released in 2011. In the spring 2012 the band brought in Johan Ullman on Farfisa organ. New recordings took place and the band made a fantastic gig at the PsychWard Club, Oslo, May 5th, which was to be the only live gig Johan played with the band. A month later the band travelled to Moscow for a gig, but Johan was left at home due to troubles getting the visa. It was a chaotic gig, although it went down well the band was sort of exhausted.

Search | Add | 3 | Pombajira | Formed in late 2017, POMBAJIRA was created by ex-Grave Desecrator Hellson Röcha. Soon enough, he roped in a drummer and also his old guitar-playing friend Blizzard. After a year of wasting time with this drummer, T. Splatter (Velho, Lápide, Poem's Death etc) took up the drum duties. Directly influenced by bands like Black Sabbath, Hellhammer, Venom, Pentagram, as well as others of a similar dark ilk. POMBAJIRA's moniker derives from their Afro-Brazilian cultural roots and serves as a foundation to flirt with the enigmatic spiritual imagery and sometimes superstitious atmosphere which is around them. In addition to their personal experiences, the band is influenced by magick, rebellion, sarcasm, and darkness. What results is uniquely POMBAJIRA, and what the band brand HEAVY ROCK INFERNO!
