Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Their shows are realtime improvised performances to a high degree, making use of stolen footage (‘live plunderphonics’) - samples and microsamples from existing records (oldschool pop, classical music, film soundtracks), combined with own electronically generated sounds, field recordings, etc. Instant unique puzzles made from bits of our common past and present. Flow of unpredictable situations where Madonna meets Edgard Varèse, old computer game music sounds together with the film soundtracks, phragments of J. S. Bach or socialist pop icons. Voice Over Noise are the live recycle bin of our postmodern culture: noisy, energetic, sometimes funny, but also sentimental refreshment of our collective memory. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Meadow Creek | “Meadow Creek” is a duo (and also Mr and Mrs) Linda and Peter Dahl from Degerfors. Linda is a singer and songwriter who got her first record deal at the age of 17 when she was the lead singer in the band “Angel”. A few years later, the band got a hit with the song “Sommaren i city”, which became a Swedish summer classic, and is still played regularly at Swedish radio. Peter is a multi-instrumentalist / producer and songwriter who started as a touring guitarist at the age of 11. (!) As a member of the cover band “Peckas Pack” he has cut off most of Sweden’s party scenes. In 1996, the couple Dahl joined and started one of Sweden’s first ABBA tribute shows together with some friends from Stockholm, “S.O.S – a tribute to ABBA”, touring in both Sweden and the rest of Europe for 16 years! Meanwhile their love for bluegrass and country music grew stronger and Linda and Peter started the band “Whisky & Dynamite” which became very popular on the Swedish country scenes. W & D recorded and released 2 albums in 2006-2009 and their songs entered radio stations all over the world. As songwriters, the couple has written a lot of songs among various artists / bands for example: Roger Pontare, Streaplers, Blender, Sten & Stanley, Drifters, Fernandoz, Barbados, Black Jack and Fryd & Gammen, Fernandoz and others. They have had several songs at “Svensktoppen” and they also wrote the song who won “Melodifestivalen” in Sweden in the year of 2000. Their song “När vindarna viskar mitt namn” (cowriter : Thomas Holmstrand) was performed by the artist Roger Pontare. The song won the Swedish final and then ended up at 7th in Eurovision Song Contest. They also competed in other countries selections for the Eurovision song contest. In 2016 they wrote the song “Golden Frame” (artist: Matilda & Stefan) who won the regional final in “Svensktoppen nästa”, which Sveriges Radio P4 organizes. In recent years, the couple also worked with Starlab Publishing and wrote J-pop and K-pop songs to the Asian market. Right now, the radar couple Dahl is in focus with their new duo “Meadow Creek”, and released their debut album ”Til death do us part” in December 2017 . It’s mostly their own material in the style of singer-songwriter / country / Americana or “swedicana” as a reviewer called their style. Producer of the record is Göran Eriksson (Black Lake Music), which is known as the band leader / guitarist in Jill Johnson’s band. In the beginning of 2019 Meadow Creek signed with “Lamon Records Nashville” who is now promoting the duo in the states and worldwide. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Golden Valley Crusaders | A North Carolina Based Bluegrass Gospel Band, The Golden Valley Crusaders were established in 1970 by Butch Cook and his brothers & sisters. The group has traveled thousands of miles over the past 47 years and performed in several states. Butch Cook, founding member of the Golden Valley Crusaders, began performing to help his father, Reverend Ottis Cook, when he preached at brush arbor meetings and in churches. He grew up listening to his father's old-fashioned preaching. Butch and his sister, Martha, started the Golden Valley Crusaders in 1970 as a family band, and it has been almost exclusively a family band for decades. Other members of the family included: Clint Houser, Martha's son, on banjo; Gary Heavner, Butch's son-in-law, on bass; David Heavner, Gary's son, on mandolin. In the 1990s, Butch, Martha, and their other siblings opened a music park in honor of their father: the Ottis Cook Memorial Gospel Music Park. There they hosted three outdoor singings every year, and the Golden Valley Crusaders performed along with other groups. | Search | Add | 2 | Stranger The Horse | Stranger The Horse is a rock/indie band from Copenhagen, Denmark consisting of Julian Falck, Anders Christensen, Simon Dyhr, Lasse Storgaard and Jens Stoklund. Julian and Anders met for the first time in 2010 when Julian sat in for the drummer in a band that Anders was playing in. After further collaborating on an album by Karoline Munknæs (Julian as producer, Anders as guitarist), and both of them playing in Pernille Gunvad’s touring band, The Marines, the two guys decided to form a band. While playing loads of concerts at local Copenhagen venues like Rust, Klub Geyser, Operaen and Blaagaards Apotek, they recorded and released a number of songs that all were met with critical acclaim from radcircle.com as well as having one song included on the iTunes release Absolute Danish Artists. The band play homegrown roots music inspired by Ry Cooder, Tom Waits, Bob Dylan, Neil Young and The Flaming Lips, as well as countrymusic, punk and various mexican bands. Stranger The Horse combines hauntingly beautiful songs with rock’n’roll energy, the borderless sounds of world music and tight vocal-harmonies. Especially when the band is playing live you can expect a rhythmic and alluring, strange but yet familiar universe. Julian Falck, the main songwriter in Stranger The Horse is no stranger to mixing various music styles and genres. Starting out as a drummer in his father’s band, only 11-years old at the time and playing live almost every weekend until his early 20s, Julian learned to navigate between country, bluegrass, blues and rock on any given night. He was further educated in music as a producer, as well as writing his own music, some of which has been used in Danish television productions such as ”Borgen”, ”Forbrydelsen” and ”Broen”. | |
