Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 6 | Mikalveli | Mikal Battle | Just like Texas, Florida, L.A., and currently the A.T.L. has been the “It Factor, the go to place for all things music” North Carolina is getting in where it fits in and is taking the reins. North Carolina is on the rise for music artist and it’s their time to shine. We have already witnessed some very accomplished talent come out of North Carolina like J.Cole, Fantasia, Petey Pablo and most recently DaBaby. There is a upcoming artist in the making who will be just the one to bring it home to North Carolina and make North Carolina the new go to place to scout talent. His name is Mikal Battle but in the music game you will find him going by the name Mikalveli aka Veli Baby. Mikalveli was born February 6, 1993 and calls North Carolina home, Greensboro to be exact. He doesn’t forget his original home town roots and so he represents both the (252) and (336) area codes but he is definitely riding and grinding for Greensboro. Veli’s music goes back to around 4th grade when his mom bought him his first electric guitar. He always had an ear for music oddly enough he couldn’t read music however he didn’t allow that to stop him because he learned to play by ear. If that isn’t enough to make you want to listen to his music and learn more about this guy then I don’t know what will. Maybe once you check out his Mix Tape “Blood Money” you will truly understand his talent and his potential as a great upcoming artist. Mikalveli went on to continue on his music path throughout Middle school by playing in the band, again still never learning to read music and only playing by ear. He was so talented he was recruited by the High School band coach. However, Mikalveli turned it down as he was all about girls then and wanted to get into sports. This caused a slight hiatus for Veli Baby from the music game. It took Veli’s uncle to be released from prison to realize his love for music hadn’t fully left. His uncle had a note book with raps he wrote in prison and Veli picked up the notebook, memorized the lyrics and would go to school rapping them. In turn Veli grew a fan base and realized not only could he learn to play instruments by ear but he also had a talent for rapping and started writing his own. In 2012, he met a guy named Major who produced music and started making music in the house with him and it was discovered Mikalveli had a real future in music as a rap artist. When asked who are some of his influences Veli does not hesitate to mention 50 Cent and the G-unit crew, but Veli definitely has a sound and energy of his own. Fast forward to 2019 by now Mikalveli has perfected his craft and has ran into none other than Sir Classic, C.E.O. of Dictator Records. Sir Classic has been in the game since 1997 and has made not only a name for himself but helped in the careers of many upcoming and established Atlanta artist. Sir Classic was promoting music between Atlanta and North Carolina when he saw the need for all the upcoming artist coming from North Carolina to have an outlet, to get their music out so he decided to stay in North Carolina for about a couple of months. While there, Sir Classic did his typical business guru move and created that outlet for the artist in the local area. Sir Classic was at a local gas station promoting his music, when he met Mikalveli and they soon exchanged contact information and later on linked up to work together and that led Veli to sign with Dictator Records. Sir Classic had organized a weekly open mic at a local club and started hosting and DJing at the open mic as a way to scout new artist and for them to have a place to showcase their musical talent. After the weekly open mic had come to an end, Sir Classic started to put his attention towards Veli and rebranding the label in the Carolina market. The one talent who stood out the most over his course of time there was none other than Mikalveli. Sir Classic saw the potential in Veli and decided to sign him to the label because in words, “Mikalveli was not only confident but he was humble.” Sir Classic appreciates artists that are teachable and who like Mikalveli want to learn the music business. Sir Classic sees not only the potential in North Carolina but he sees it in his new protege Mikalveli and both are about to make their mark in a major way. When you see that North Carolina and Mikalveli are both on the map due to Sir Classic’s vision be sure to recognize that the vision was set in motion. |

| Search | Add | 6 | Kids Indestructible | Tim Robinson and Phil Quaite | Kids Indestructible are Tim Robinson and Phil Quaite. Both hail from Yorkshire, England and first began recording, under the name Antidote, in 1998. Encouraged by their friend, Beatnik Records boss Carl Emery, Antidote released a 12" EP on that label called "Riot in Studio 54". This experiment in combining the disco sound of Chic with Drum &Bass gained favourable reviews in DJ Magazine among others and eventually sold out its modest run of 500. Later they would change their style to a more expansive, ambient electronic sound. They adopted a new name, Kids Indestructible (chosen as it sounded like a cartoon series yet to be made). They decided on 'Please Avoid Strong Light' as a potential album title which has since become their catchphrase and band logo. The phrase is taken from the text on the back of packets of Seabrook Crisps manufactured in Bradford in their native Yorkshire. This also became the title of one of their definitive tracks, a vocoderised Beach Boy chant mixed with electronic drones and jaunty piano, which grabbed the attention of Parisian record label, Gooom Disques. This combination of unexpected musical influences sums up the Kids Indestructible sound very well. |

| Search | Add | 6 | Toninho Almeida | Toninho Almeida | Multi-instrumentalist author/composer born in Euclide Da Cunha, a small town in Bahia, Brazil, Toninho Almeida has had a passion for artistic expression from a very young age. He arrived in Rio at the age of 17 and was struck by the urban cultural melting pot he discovered - an artist was born! He proved to be an impulsive poet, a versatile actor and a prolific, self-taught guitarist. Next stop Sao Paulo where the decadence of the dictatorship heralds a cultural scene seething with excitement, freedom and consciousness-raising. He publishes poems and goes from one poetry, theatrical and musical scene to another with his compositions. He is opening act for, among others, Gilberto Gil. He reinforces his musical gifts through a rigorous apprenticeship and becomes a professor at the Contemporary Music Academy of Bahia. He flies off to France in 1990 - first Paris, then Lille. He teaches dance, guitar and percussion and, at the same time, starts up numerous musical projects and goes on several tours inspired by the recording of two albums: Violette 41 and Mitade. Five years go by during which Toninho decides to get back to his cultural roots and Brazilian standards (forro, traditional Afro-Brazilian music, pagoda. . . .) From this arises the creation of projects such as Samba de Bamba and Forro Pitu. Filled with renewed energy with a new album in the works Deu Forro No Samba, he reinterprets his own music. Above all, he presents his latest compositions, a new group, new inspiration. Often on the road, Toninho has already performed at: L'Aéronef (Lille) La Barraca Zem (Lille) La Gare Saint-Sauveur (Lille) Le Centre Culturel Guy Gambu (Saint-Marcel) Le Centre Culturel Daniel Balavoine (Arques) Le P'tit Bal Perdu (Paris) Festival Forró Lille Forró Festival Cologne Journées des Danses d'Amérique Latine (Limoges) Festival des Mondes Pluriels (Grande-Synthe) Festival Zum Zum Zum (Londres) Festival Angoleiros do Mar (Paris) Bal à Fives (Lille) Festival Musiques de Traverse (Lille, Roubaix, Saint-Amand) Wazemmes l'accordéon (Lille) Roubaix Accordéon (Roubaix) Deûle en Fête (Lille) |

The project FLECHTHEIM is the work of Christian Taubert. FLECHTHEIM went to berlin in 2014 and stared producing techno in 2017. At the same time, FLECHTHEIM started collecting the tracks that fascinated him most and began working as a DJ. Without theoretical or musical knowledge, FLECHTHEIM discovered the wide sea of this kind of music and opened up a whole new world of possibilities and creative options. Playing casually with sounds grew to be a passion with sounds. FLECHTHEIM is a member of STRENGTH IN NUMBERS ( @strength_in_numbers ), a berlin founded Beat-Cypher-Crew (project is currently on pause). Currently, FLECHTHEIM is part of the Sound9-collective ( facebook.com/sound9.berlin/ ) where Audio-visual ideas of different artists come together as communal artistic works. |

| Search | Add | 6 | Jetter Green | Jetter Green | Jetter Green, 36, a San Diego native has been surrounded and intrigued by art for as long as he can remember. His father, an entrepreneur and architectural designer, and his mother, a calligrapher and avid crafter, contributed to Jetter’s creative spark being kindled at an early age. In high school, artistic visions merged with technology, and his passion ignited. Jetter earned a BA in Graphic Design at the Art Institute of California. He then accepted a position at a print house in Encinitas where he began to hone his skills in print and color theory. Three years later, feeling a desire to be challenged creatively, Jetter sought a design position at a local creative agency. His encounter with the demands, needs and challenges of a larger clientele prompted a natural segue into the realm of web design. A year later, stifled by the politics of the industry and yearning for greater creative license, Jetter made the decision to go freelance. In early 2007, using his own entrepreneurial spirit and joining with a close designer friend, Outlier Creative, a think tank for cutting edge design, was born. The company works exclusively via their website and has an impressive list of domestic and international clientele. Three years later, Jetter’s perpetual “itch” for something new and different led him to explore new outlets for his creative urges. In 2009, while attending Burning Man and Lightning in the Bottle, Jetter’s alternative vision and creativity were inspired, and he finally began to create art for himself that would heal, expand, and explore the life experience. Always drawn to the concept of math as a universal language, the complex patterns found in nature, vivid colors, energetic properties and the infinite space within each of us, he turned to those elements as inspiration to create artwork that is not premeditated but instead evolves from the free flow of consciousness. |

| Search | Add | 6 | DJ Cam-One | Cameron Bolling | DJ Cam_One of Mystery Sound Recordings, Beat.Clause.It_Studios and Linden Tree Mastering. I am DJ Cam_One born Cameron Bolling and have been into music since an early age. I started singing in chorus and playing trumpet in elementary school and continued throughout middle school. At the age of 13 I started making mixtapes for friends using two cassette tape recorders. During this time my sister Rachel was dating DC radio and club Hip-Hop extraordinaire DJ Iran. Since then my life was never the same. In 1995, two years later I bought my first turntable from a pawnshop and paid with change. For the next three years I would practice my scratching, mixing and mixtapes skills. In 1998, I joined a Funk band called Bakufu using my turntables as added percussion to the group. Bakufu disbanded a few months later and I joined a DJ collective called Samsara Camp. This collective comprised of old and new friends from high school. Most of them had no experience with DJing and turntables, so I would teach them techniques that were learned and passed down to me. While with Samsara Camp I started playing Hip Hop at house parties and small venues throughout Maryland and Washington DC. Having the opportunity to open up for other locals at small venues was the stepping stone I needed to advance in my DJ career. After that I started giving private DJ lessons to friends and spoke with them about personal DJing experiences I had to help them with their DJ careers. That is just as important as technique. A short while later I joined another collective called Mantis Sound System and this is where my skills were honed and was able the play out more often. In 2001 I was contacted to play and teach Hip Hop DJing at Towson Universities Hip Hop week were I met an enormous amount of people and exhausted my resources. A few years later I found myself spinning regularly in Washington DC and Baltimore. While in Baltimore I opened up for and DJ’d along side such greats as: KRS-ONE, DJ Q-Bert and DJ Swamp among others at the popular club Sonar. While in Washington DC I opened up for and DJ’d along side such greats as: Cappadonna, Jurrasic 5, Mr.Len, Tame-One, Matisyahu among others at many popular clubs that hosted Hip Hop. In the summer of 2003 I had the opportunity to DJ before and after Dave Chappelle’s DC standup for both shows at the Warner Theater right after his first season debut of “Chappelle’s Show”. Soon thereafter I would find myself at Nissan Pavilion on the Code of the Cuts stage of the Vans Warped Tour. After those two amazing shows and the reception I received in DC and Baltimore I became a resident DJ for a legendary party called “Krunk” led by international DJ Jesse Tittsworth. During this time I would have shows at the world renowned Knitting Factory in New York and 9:30 Club in Washington DC and opening up for artists such as Jurassic 5 and Matisyahu. I have also judged the Guitar Center’s “Spin Off” DJ competition four times and was a judge at the International Turntable Federation (ITF) Mid Atlantic finals DJ competition. Presently I DJ for special occasions, but most of my time is now spent in my studio. |

| Search | Add | 6 | Martin van Maële | Maurice François Alfred Martin van Miële | Maurice Martin van Miële (12 October 1863, Boulogne-Billancourt — 5 September 1926, Varennes-Jarcy), professionally known as Martin van Maële, was a French illustrator, particularly notable for his explicit and exacerbated drawings for erotic literature. He extensively collaborated with Charles Carrington in Paris, a leading erotica publisher, illustrating books by [a=Anatole France], [a=Paul Verlaine]'s La Trilogie érotique, and Apulée's L'Âne d'or. Maële created art for other antique and Renaissance authors, like [a=Ovid], [a=François Beroalde De Verville], [a=Pierre Choderlos de Laclos], and [a=Denis Diderot], and his contemporaries, including [a648094] under the "Sadinet" pseudonym, [a=Charles Baudelaire]'s pioneering French translations of [a=Edgar Allan Poe], or Aventures Extraordinaires by [a=Sir Arthur Conan Doyle]. Since many of Martin van Maële's works depict minors, partially or fully naked and engaged in frivolous activities, his name regularly comes up in contemporary discussions about the legal and moral status of virtual depictions of nude minors, particularly historically or artistically significant images. In April 2010, one of [a=Wikipedia]'s co-founders, Larry Sanger, published his letter to the FBI, accusing [a=Wikimedia Commons] of hosting "child pornography;" he specifically chose a selection of Maële's graphics and "Lolicon" category as two glaring examples. |
