Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 6 | Anders Monrad | Danish composer of modern classical music Anders Monrad (b. 1981) began playing the piano at the age of 6, and started composing as a teenager. Monrad received his undergraduate degree from Copenhagen University and Business School. Since 2006 he has studied composition at The Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen under Bent Sørensen, Hans Abrahamsen, Niels Rosing-Schow and Hans Peter Stubbe Teglbjærg. As a composer Monrad gets his inspiration from different musical genres and conventions, and he is an avid collector of obscure old LP`s - with tastes ranging from early electronic music, and psychedelic rock to various kitsch genres. He is very inspired by the American composer John Zorn, whose poly-stylistic approach and rejection of the dichotomy between “High Brow” and “Low Brow” culture stands, Monrad sees as one of the most important developments in late 20th century musical aesthetics. In addition to composition, Monrad is active as a painter, music critic and writer. | |

| Search | Add | 6 | N∆EON TE∆RDROPS | Per Martinsen | NAEON TEARDROPS is a new artist alias from Norwegian techno and electronica veteran Per Martinsen, mostly known under his techno and elecronic guise MENTAL OVERDRIVE. Stepping out of his familiar instrumental electronic productions and into vocal-based songwriting, N∆EON TE∆RDROPS explore influences of the synthpop and darkwave of his formative years, while aiming to put these influences into a more contemporary context. The debut album TESTIMONY was released in September 2023, and contained 10 tracks flirting with alternative electropop, echoes of eighties darkwave, breakbeat-fuelled nineties power-ballads and noughties electronica – all brought to life with a 2023 twist. The music of NAEON TEARDROPS was born out of the storytelling project PYRAMIDS ON THE MOON – a fictional autobiography in three parts where he explores three alternative timelines of his own life, and where each of his three imagined personalities create music under different artist aliases. PYRAMIDS ON THE MOON is still an ongoing project, where the most recent texts are exclusive to those supporting the project on Patreon. |

She began her professional singing career as a very young girl, winning several times at amateur singer festivals in Pula and Istria (1975). In 1975, she recorded her first studio song in collaboration with maestro Nello Milotti, entitled “Istarska serenada”. She was also awarded first place by the expert jury at the Youth Festival of the then Yugoslavia “Studentsko ljeto” in Maglaj in 1976, as a representative of the RTV Center Pula. in 1977 that she made her debut with the song "Vrtić pred kućom" , which was her award from the expert jury for winning 1st place at the festival of amateur singers of the then Yugoslavia in Maglaj, where she was delegated by the then HTV Center Pula. She became very poplar locally and still sings today (2025). Her trademark Istrian pop is a musical blend of tradition, contemporary, and mainstream pop melodies. The lyrics of Vesna's songs are typically Istrian themes and are related to the life and customs of an ordinary, small, hardworking Istrian people, so there is no topic that Vesna has not touched on in her songs. In her songs, through her distinctive interpretation, she speaks with love about her native Pula, Istria, St. Martin's Day, weddings, gunjci, noni and mater, laurel and roses, the sea, the sun, boats and fishermen, rikordi and pensiri, ulika, wine, prosciutto and truffles and much more. Sometimes she even inserts cooking into the whole story, as on the CD "Rikordi i pensiri", a kind of souvenir from Istria, on which, with each song, there are also autochthonous Istrian recipes in the form of "A Story about Love and Cooking" (B. Žižović). She has collaborated with a number of eminent authors, such as: Sergio Pavat, Boško Obradović, Renato Pernić, Nello Milotti, Danijel Načinović, Ljubica Bestulić-Stanković, Andrej Baša, Bruno Zahtila, Đorđe Novković, Livio Morosin, Bruno Krajcar, Alen Vitasović, Bratislav Zlatanović, Andrej Babić, Dražen Zečić, Aleksandar Valenčić, Robert Grubišć, Ludvig Slana, Valmer Cusma, Dinko Š. Kalc, Z. Vrščaj and others, and she herself composed several songs that she performs (Volin te Istro, Mamma mia, Bionda, biondina, Kad srce voli, Šećer za kraj and others)

| Search | Add | 6 | Briget Boyle | Briget Boyle | Briget Boyle's songs are compelling reminders that healing and redemption are coming. With gritty, vulnerable lyrics, pristine vocals, and driving playing on her antique Gibson J45, Briget’s 90s rock-tinged songs center the truth-telling power of the human voice. Sincerity is magnetic and Briget's songs often inspire listeners to put pen to paper, clear their throats, and dust off their old guitars. What will happen when you listen? Briget’s songwriting awakens the act of witnessing. She goes deep to mine for truth and what comes out is a powerful vocal expression that is magnetic. Her sound comes from an authentic way of living and is driven by deep connections that she has forged along her diverse path of music making. She views music as the mortar of human experience that ties us together in ways that nothing else can. Earthy and grounded in connection to spirit, Briget possesses an ability to leverage life’s challenges and make music that navigates them with grace. She creates as a means of integration of her lived experiences. Briget's wisdom is not only to learn from past experiences by facing them, but also to embrace the suffering that inevitably leads to more complete insights. Briget was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA where she got an early start in music. As the child of two music industry veterans, she always knew that being a musician was not just a calling, but part of her DNA. Her first professional experience was working in Hollywood's film scoring studios alongside her legendary recording engineer father, the late Tim Boyle. She served as his second engineer for Starship Troopers, Animaniacs, Money Talks and more. She began writing songs right when she was 12 years old and attended the College of Santa Fe to study Music Performance & Composition. It was here that her musical journey took an unexpected turn. She discovered the rich traditional folk music of the Balkans and quickly became a student of the voice and of traditional singing styles. This study led her to many years of performing with Kitka Women’s Vocal Ensemble, Brass Menažeri Balkan Brass Band, and True Life Trio. Briget recognizes the responsibility and opportunities that accompany multi-hyphenate creative life. She is always full of ideas and the sheer audacity to pursue them. Briget founded an independent record label, Waxsimile Productions and queer musician collective, built a successful vocal coaching practice, and has been a key member of various Bay Area world music ensembles. Her musical and professional perspective is unique and it is echoed in her songs. Her new album, Heartbreak Residue is now available. |

| Search | Add | 6 | Fokkewolf | Garage/Punk rock band from England. Formed in 1996. Daz and Paul needed a guitar player after splitting another band going nowhere. Clarky, a sparring partner from the old hardcore days fitted the bill perfectly (they played briefly together in FORCEFED). After a few gigs they cut Bullet Festival EP in the same year but didn't release it. Played a rack of gigs in the UK. More recording followed. This resulted in the DEATHRAY EP. Some frenzied live activity accompanied the record. Then came the legendary KICK ARSE EP, inspired by the film 'Brain Dead'. A track from it was put on a Frank Records comp which spread the word about the band around Europe. The EP was played on the Peel show in the UK, and they were invited to do a session by the great man himself!! Then Barny from Incognito asked them for a record for his anniversary release series. This spawned the PORNO ROCKER anthem. The band then split for various personal reasons, and things lay fallow for a while. All seemed dead until founder member Smith reformed the band with new members and tied up some loose end songs written before the split. That's it! | |

| Search | Add | 6 | The Snorks | Snorks was a children's animated television series created by Belgian cartoonist [a=Nicolas Broca] (1932—1993), with four seasons and 65 episodes aired in the United States on the NBC network and in syndication between September 1984 and March 1989. A commercial failure in American broadcast, the show performed significantly better in the international distribution, gaining a limited "cult following" years later. Between 2012 and 2016, Warner Archive released all four seasons on DVD, and the show was partially available on the [l=Hulu] streaming platform. Intricately connected to an acclaimed Smurfs cartoon series launched in 1981, the "Snorks" ran concurrently on the same television network for five years. Freddy Monnickendam (b. 1954), the creator of both shows, first joined prolific Belgian comic publisher [l=Dupuis] in 1977, where he soon negotiated a licensing deal for the company's flagship series, renowned [a=Peyo]'s graphic novel "Smurfs," for [m=241756] album by French singer [a=Pierre Kartner] on [l=Decca]/[l=Polydor]. Freddy then got promoted to the head of the SEPP International division responsible for the "Smurfs" merchandising. He established a fruitful partnership with [l=Hanna-Barbera Productions] and [l=3M France], launching an eponymous children's animated TV series for National Broadcasting Company, one of the "Big Three" American networks, in September 1981. Even though Smurfs was an instant smashing hit and one of NBC's primetime offerings for the children's audience, [a=Peyo] and Freddy constantly clashed over creative differences, royalties distribution, and every possible contract clause during lengthy negotiations, culminating in Peyo's lawsuit against Monnickendam shortly after the show's premiere. Thus, the Snorks originated as a direct competitor to "Smurfs," devised by Monnickendam as a payback to Peyo; Freddy was confident he could easily repeat the same "recipe for success" by sourcing another comic series in Europe with a more agreeable author and licensing it to NBC via [l=Hanna Barbera]. In early 1982, he found just the right match — Snorks, a new comic book self-published by Belgian cartoonist Nic Broca and portraying "snorks" — brightly-colored anthropomorphic sea creatures. Fundamentally similar to "Smurfs," the aspiring publication differed enough to attract the same audience while avoiding plagiarism accusations. Broca agreed to sell television rights to SEPP, and Freddy immediately began working on a pilot episode for NBC with [a=William Hanna & Joseph Barbera]. The Snorks premiered on NBC on Saturday, 15th September 1984 — the same day as the fourth season of "Smurfs" — featuring a prolific cast of voiceover actors: [a=Michael Bell], [a=Brian Cummings (6)], [a=B.J. Ward], [a=Nancy Cartwright], [a=Barry Gordon], [a=Rob Paulsen], and [a=Frank Welker]. Despite all promotional efforts, the Snorks never gained audience ratings and commercial profits even remotely comparable to "Smurfs," discontinued in March 1989 after four seasons. The show's declining ratings cost Monnickendam his showrunner contract with [l=Hanna Barbera] (his former partners co-produced the final two seasons of "Smurfs" with Lafig S.A. instead) and ultimately led to SEPP's dissolution. | |

Najmi formed Jemson as his own Jameson Project immediately after Incarnation called it a day in 2015. He chose to collaborate with Myo in a song titled Rock N’ Roll Sampai Mati, which soon became the theme song for Myo’s popular travel show Ride Hensem. The chemistry between them was so good that both men agreed to transform Jameson Project into supergroup Jemson, a playful “Malayisation” of Jameson. Jemson recently released an EP titled Balada Cinta Kosmos under Oh Chentaku Records, with five tracks reminiscent of 80s rock with punk attitude.
