Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024
Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Soccom | Adam | Adam, born in 1989, he plays and produces under his alias Soccom. He comes from Lodz, Poland where he met Pylon and Yabol. With them and Switch Technique they merge a collective named Mechaplex, which aims to produce the most energetic genre in electronic music - technodnb. His name is recognizable thanks to early productions released on T-Free, Flight Recordings, and of course forthcoming tracks on Sinuous, Venom Inc. and Nerve. His style is not defined, but it's sure that in his productions he wants to pass as much energy as possible from Techno, within the guidelines of Drum and Bass. |

Search | Add | 2 | Le Scimmie Sulla Luna | Risen from the ashes of [a=teenage riot (3)], a band which in recent years had many a success playing all across the peninsula, Le Scimmie sulla Luna, from Lecce, made a record which tastes international and experimental. The sound of the band is a balance of tight rhythms and grooves that wink at funk, math and post-rock: hypnotic guitars seem to turn into synthesizers, moving from lively and melodic riffs to experimental contortions through massive use of delays and synth pedals. The goal of the band is to find the contact point of different musical genres and approaches, emphasizing and at the same time going beyond the dichotomy between what is “rock” and what is not. Le Scimmie sulla Luna are: Cristiano Metrangolo (guitar), Stefano Greco (bass), Jory Stifani (guitars, synth), Luca Greco (drums).

Search | Add | 2 | Waes One | A veteran of the California hip hop scene, Oakland based-and-bred producer Waes One has been putting out a steady stream of acclaimed material since his 1997 debut release Instrumentalz. Known for his rich, atmospheric arrangements and classic hip hop production sensibilities, Waes has anchored a multitude of releases over the last two decades. As half of the duo Compound Elements in the late 90's and early 2000's, Waes brought his signature dark, sample heavy sound to prominence with EP releases in 1999 and 2001, followed by the 2003 full length album, The Struggle. Subsequent work with LA-based duo Substance Abuse, featured on the albums Overproof (2006) and Background Music (2013), saw the two MCs ripping Waes One instrumentals alongside legendary MCs such as KRS-ONE ("Rear View"), MC Eiht ("Flossin'"), Tash ("Don't Get Us Wrong") and Saafir ("Sickness"). 2011 saw Waes landing production features on the irreverent Not the 1's EP Why You Cryin'?, and the follow-up, 2016's Everybody's Rappin'. Waes's productions on the latter release included "You Wack" featuring legendary New York MC Kool Keith. Hard Listening (2012), the solo debut from LA born and bred, Oakland based wordsmith Mawnstr (Connoisseurs, Gooch Gang), further cemented Waes One's legacy as a production guru, with the single "The Next Edition (3 Hippos)" featuring Prince Po of Organized Konfusion leading the charge. In 2015, The Gooch Gang's The Gooch EP brought even more accolades, with Waes' high-powered instrumentation driving the 1-2 lyrical punch of MCs Mawnstr and Kaliban. The release featured the standout single "Go Get It" featuring Gunplay. Waes continues his streak of hard-hitting full album productions in 2018 with Dub Esquire's full-length release The Return, featuring Del the Funky Homosapien, P.E.A.C.E. of Freestyle Fellowship, Mawnstr, Deuce Eclipse and more. Carefully crafting his own unmistakable sound over the years, Waes One has kept the rap game grounded in the midst of an era of unprecendented change, remaining innovative and fresh while maintaining respect for the fundamentals of the artform.

Search | Add | 2 | Juno Kids | Electronic project from the USA. Formed in 2017. Juno Kids is an experimental IDM/Synthwave project from experienced duo Derek Mount (Brique a Braq/Former Family Force 5) and Philip Zach (Silver Pages/Arrows and Sound/Former Remedy Drive). The prolific songwriters/producers have written a combined 11 number one singles and 22 charting songs across various Billboard charts, and have performed more than 3,000 live concerts with their respective former bands: Remedy Drive and Family Force 5 (including Bamboozle, Sonisphere, Warped Tour). Each partner has culled an extensive track record in licensing, combining for more than 3,000 sync licenses collectively in films (Sony Pictures, Lionsgate, NBCUniversal); commercials (Chevrolet, BMW, Blackberry); television (MTV, VH1, CMT); sporting events (ESPN, WWE, NHL), and more. The pair originally met in 2009, when their bands shared more than 40 tour dates together. A compelling friendship formed between Mount and Zach, rooted in a shared passion for theology, fitness, and electronic music. In the summer of 2014, the two reunited serendipitously, as Instagram revealed to each friend that the other was simultaneously vacationing in Europe. During their rendezvous in the garden of Versailles, the duo made an agreement to collaborate musically.

She honed her skills in the school and church choir and later went on to work with local Tshwane groups and producers such as Tonic Momentum, Spiyoyo, Fizzy, Dj Khosto and many more. Masello eventually met Gauta Lenake also known as G-Soundz in producing circles at a studio in 2005 and was impressed with her vocal abilities and decided to take her under his wing. In 2008, with the help of Gauta, she landed a recording deal with an indie label but asked for contract to be terminated when the label failed to record a single. Three years later she got her break when she collaborated with King P on the single "The Music Is Calling" which was taken from the channel 0 compilation (So You Think You Can Do Better). She went on to work with Sonic Noyz on their EP, No Turning Back which was released on Afrodesiamp3.com, traxsource and was well received overseas. Masello's Music is also on the following cd's: S.A Music Sampler - Midem 2011 Channel 0 -So You think you can do better Sumthyn Black - Live, Life & Dance |
