Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Bebop '79 | Bebop '79 is genre bending jazz "duet" from Michael Fanuzzi (drums, guitar, voice) and continuing iterations of His Machine, Lazerbeat (piano, synthesizers). The Machine is, at a functional level, a clever means of playing multiple instruments at once, feeding off of the subtleties of percussion and the environment to generate fantastical melodies in response. But more than that, there's an unpredictable nature to it that makes it feel truly alive. The Machine is not only reacting, it is in itself creating. Together. Note selection of all keyboards are driven directly by detection of percussive inputs, using a combination of pitch/FFT analysis, first from the drums, and later from the guitar, and even voice. Loops and layers are built, growing ever vaster in scale. Here at [l=lazerbea.ms], we endeavor to utilize technology to achieve an artistic transcendence. A futuristic primitivism. Welcome to the opening chapter of BEBOP '79.

In 1921, Musical America published the first annual "Guide," later renamed the 'International Directory of the Performing Arts' and the 'Musical America Directory.' For the next twenty-two years, High Fidelity published 'Musical America' as an additional insert in the subscription-only edition. In 1986, ABC Consumer Magazines, the High Fidelity publisher, decided to revive Musical America as an independent monthly edition to compete against the 'Opus' (1984–'88) magazine. In 1998, the Musical America Directory's publisher launched the musicalamerica.com website.

Search | Add | 2 | לטאות הענק מכוכב הניבירו | "The Giant Lizards from Nibiru Planet" is a space rock band. The ultimate psychedelic experience in the sacred language. With Video Arts, alien costumes and timeless anthems. The Giant Lizards From the Nibiru Planet come from the Sumerian culture that existed until 4500 years ago. In ancient inscriptions, parts of their mythology were discovered about beings called "Annunaki" who came from the sky from the Nibiru planet. The creatures came to earth with the purpose of mining gold metal and therefore they created man who is a genetic development of an ancient mammal for the purposes of slavery. They called the first creature - Adamo. In alien political circles, the Reptilians are considered an advanced, violent, powerful, domineering race. Some say that this race of lizards rules the earth. They are associated with the "Freemasons", the pharaohs and even the Levite tribe.

Search | Add | 2 | Stanislao Sadlovesky | Stanislao Sadlovesky.

Search | Add | 2 | Martha Catalina | Catalina Palacios | With the Aguascalientes singer Martha Catalina we are going to listen to the songs "Black Tears", by Miguel Matamoros and "Ni por favor", by Rubén Fuentes and Alberto Cervantes. Martha Catalina was a bolerista who recorded several albums mainly in the early fifties. Unfortunately, there is little biographical data of this singer that, according to Pablo Dueñas, in his book of boleros, was much loved by the northern audiences. Apparently her first name was Catalina Palacios. Martha Catalina's style had a touch of drag in her way of performing her songs. Some say that the style of interpreting this singer included a stamp impregnated with eroticism. He began his career at the XEB radio station, La Buen Tono station, in the early 1950s; later he was an artist of the XEW, The Voice of Latin America from Mexico, in the midday programs. Most of his 78 rpm discs made them for the Columbia label. One of his greatest successes was the bolero “Vacío”, by composer José de Jesús Morales. Other boleros he recorded were "Mazatlan Nights", "Nonsense", "I lost your love", "Compassion", "Answer to sea and sky", "Partic Heart", "Black flowers", "Badly reciprocated", and others plus. Martha Catalina passed away in the mid-eighties. |

Search | Add | 2 | Ali Doğan Gönültaş | Ali Doğan Gönültaş | Ali Doğan Gönültaş was born in Kiğı, Eastern Anatolia, Turkey. Graduated from Kocaeli University Archeology and Radio TV and Cinema departments, the musician started his professional music career with the band Ze Tijê, of which he is one of the founders and author of many of the compositions and arrangements, as well as performer of several instruments and the lead singer. They made hundreds of concerts in Turkey and released two studio albums “Yanlışımız Var!” (2015) and “Ur” (2019), in a postrock, collage and experimental genres. Since 2018, he has been continuing his music production with his solo concert series “Xo Bi Xo”. This project, in which the musician includes songs in Kurmanci and Turkish as well as Zazaki, his mother tongue, has an experimental feel to it as well as traditional styles and themes. In addition, his oral history and field research studies, which he began in 2007, continue with the album Kiğı, which he self-produced and released in 2022. Kiğı, which is also the birthplace of the musician, describes the specific musical language and style of an Anatolian/Mesopotamian settlement. He contributed to the soundtracks of films such as My Own Life (2014) and Şeng (2021). He took part in the project titled “Voice of the City as an Example of Intangible Cultural Heritage (Diyarbakır)” as a composer. In 2020, he prepared and presented the television program “Voices and Traces” for Can TV. The program, which consisted of conversations and musical performances, was about non-mainstream musical genres and schools in Turkey. In 2021 and 2022 he is presenting and producing the TV show “Müzik Olayı” also for Can TV. In 2022 Ali Doğan was signed by the son of the old master Seîdê Goyî, a dengbej (singing storyteller) of traditional Botan music, to arrange the pieces and be the producer of the EP Stranên Dilê Min (songs of my heart, in Kurdish). About Kiğı In May of 2022, Ali Doğan Gönültaş released Kiğı, his first solo and self-produced album that emerged as a result of more than ten years of field research. The work, which is a personal look at the 150-year musical process of Kiğı, the musician's birthplace, consists of works in the regional languages of Krmancki, Kurmanci, Kirdaski, Armenian, and Turkish. This thematic album consists of stylized performances accompanied by ethnomusicological data, with the goal of providing a discourse and a voice to remember despite the fading of memory. The project evolved from an "oral history" motivation into a musical memory work. In the project, which includes thematic and technical music forms, thematic contents such as Govend, lament, job songs, Xerîbîyê and prayer forms are conveyed with the modal characteristics of the region. Kiğı has been #1 in the Balkan World Music Charts in the second quarter of 2022 and #11 in September for the Transglobal World Music Chart. |

Search | Add | 2 | Lucky Number Seven | Ska/Skate Punk band from Ontario Canada From their website "The original line up consisted of Ryan Lane on vocals, Chad Patch on guitar, Brent Seeley on bass and Matt Brett on drums. Matt and Chad were going to the same highschool and frequently headed back to the spot to work on new tunes during spares and such. After about two months of constant practicing Lucky Number Seven starting showcasing their new found love by having parties and playing in front of their friends. In early October of '97 the boys played their first show at the Chameleon Cafe in Ajax with friends at the time....Lame. A few short months after, Lucky Number Seven decided to try adding a sax player to the band. Chris Hill of Whitby's Out Of Hand joined and within' a couple weeks, started playing shows. In April of '98 Lucky Number Seven headed into a downtown Toronto recoding studio to record a three song demo with their new sax player. Although never released, and even though the dat tape was ruined, there are still a couple copies of this around. One of the songs, 'All Your Fault' appeared at the end of their first full length 'Wasted Times'. June 13th 1998. A date that changed Lucky Number Seven forever. That was the last show that Chad & Chris played with Lucky Number Seven. Chad left due to personal problems and differences within the band. Chris went on tour and didn't call when he got back. After cancelling two shows at the beginning of July. Lucky Number Seven acquired a new (and their current) guitarist by the name of Chuck Coles. Chuck definitely played a different style of ska than that of which Ryan, Brent and Matt were used to. But after writing their first song with Chuck; 'My Best Friend', they all agreed that this change was for the best. So they all headed back into the jam spot for a straight 3 week stretch of constant writing and learning on Chuck's part. Chuck's debut came on July 22nd at the Dungeon in Oshawa. Another show that they will always remember. That show was probably the roughest show ever played by Lucky Number Seven. Not taking this too lightly, they all agreed to head back into another 3 weeks of practice before emerging onto the stage in August of '98 as the new completely refurbished Lucky Number Seven. The first road trip followed closely to Chuck's debut. In mid August of '98 Lucky Number Seven took a weekend to explore some of the more northern regions of Ontario. Meeting up with Burlington's Gym Class Joke that weekend was a time to remember. They all met on the Friday and by Saturday were good friends! April '99 Lucky Number Seven returned to the studio to record under Simon Head, for their first full length album. In a very short two days they had finished all tracks for the new disc. While the cash flow ran low......the album was postponed until late October of the same year. When 'Wasted Times' finally did come out, it appeared that the fans had been dieing to hear it. Selling over 200 units in the first couple days without even playing a release party. The formal hometown release took place on November 12th 1999 at the Dungeon in Oshawa. With tons of new songs and nothing to sell, LNS turned to a friend to record them a new demo. Good friend Onur Altinbilek rented a pile of awesome equipment and setup in their jam spot to record 7 brand new tracks! After a couple weeks of consideration, Lucky Number Seven decided to release the new demo exclusively on their website! While only 6 of the 7 songs made it on the site, it still proved to be worth while for the fans with more than 300 people downloading the album in the first week. January of '01 LNS decided it's about time to get some merchandise made! Coming up with two new logos, they used both in the design of their new t-shirts and hoodies. For the first time, LNS fans had something to wear home from the show! Spring of 2001 proved to be a good season for writing! It seemed that every rehearsal would bring a new song. As they anticipate their next release, LNS plans to put out 16-18 songs for their second full length album! Plans to demo a few songs are in talks, and will probably be underway in July of '01. Check back for downloads of the new demo'd songs some time this summer!" My guess is the disbanded at some point in the summer of '02 Chad Patch/Guitar - 1997 - 1998 Chris Hill/Saxophone - 1997 - 1998 Matt Brett/Drums - 1997 - 2002 Ryan Lane/Vocals - 1997 - 2002 Brent Steely/Bass - 1997 - 2002 Chuck Coles/Guitar - 1998 - 2002
