Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Ristiinnaulitseminen | Ristiinnaulitseminen is a Russian-Finnish post-black metal/DSBM band founded in the winter of 2024/2025 by Stepan Vokuev. Initially, the project was conceived as an exclusively DSBM band, but after their first release, the band realised that they were not interested in writing pure DSBM. Instead, they began experimenting with the boundaries of the genre, arriving at a blend of post-black metal and DSBM. To date, they have released three albums, two of which are full-length. Ristiinnaulitseminen has already been warmly received by the community and found its audience. And although the vocals remain a specific element (which is typical for the genre), the vast majority agree that the band's instrumentals are delightful. To date, they have released three albums, two of which are full-length. Ristiinnaulitseminen has already been warmly received by the community and found its audience. And although the vocals remain a specific element (which is typical for the genre), the vast majority agree that the band's instrumentals are delightful. The band's lyrics touch on themes of depression, loneliness, suicide, and self-harm, as well as autobiographical stories, hatred, betrayal, and occasionally acute social issues. Nevertheless, Ristiinnaulitseminen remains a largely apolitical band. The permanent members of the band are Stepan Vokuev and Oliver Virtanen. Drummer Denis Shevelkov left the band in October 2025, and the parting was amicable. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Sgt. 6 Assault | Punk band from NYC, USA. Sgt. 6 Assault are the [a=The Dummies (2)] without [a=Lone Twister], relocated in New York City. Sgt 6 (aka Mark Henry) - vocals, guitar Rock Bottom (aka Dan Henry) - drums Subarton (aka Chris Subarton) - bass "The Dummies moved to NYC in 1996, shortly after recording their full length debut on Get Hip. Months later, the band decided they hated the way their ambitiously recorded album ended up being produced. They then got lean, mean, yet remained unclean, aiming for a heavier sound. Sgt 6 took over all guitar duties, while Subarton hopped over to bass. As a three piece, the band changed their name to the Sgt 6 Assault to drop the sloppy garage moniker/stigma. The band create the sound of true drug-addled, hate-inspired, precision punk rock in the form of one minute tunes... the sound that began echoing within the minds of these once-rural-now-urban transplantees. They first released a 5 song 7" EP through their own label, 007 Records; uncorked the second as a limited issue, one-sided jukebox single; then cut a tune for Philadelphia’s Carbon 14 Magazine. For their fourth release, the Assault recorded 2 cuts just prior to their collapse. Originally intended for Bag of Hammers Records, this never came to fruition; the 7" was released years later on Rapid Pulse Records". | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Alberto La Tassa | Alberto Costantino La Tassa | Artist from Italy. Born in 1986, Alberto La Tassa is an Italian artist issued from a family engaged with the arts since 1820. La Tassa started practicing on different disciplines from early childhood. After obtaining his diploma in Padova, he moved to Venice, where he still lives and works, graduating with first class honors at the Venice Academy of Fine Arts. Eclectic and multifaceted, the artist explores and controls with graceful and powerful technique different forms of art: painting, sculpture, graphic and jewelry design . He paints and creates art with a perfect mastery of the artistic languages, showing a complex and interesting range of techniques, from painting and drawing to sculpture and engraving. Observing his works, you have the “impression of being in front of an expert who draws inspiration from the masterpieces of the ancient times”.Classic gestures and “maniere” coexist with a modern and eccentric extravaganza, reflected in all the aspects of this dandy’s art and life style. Byzantine and Venetians fragments of colors, Baroque architectures, surrealistic dreams and hyperrealistic details: they all share the same canvases and stand out in front of the observer. This is a golden world populated by extravagant figures: emperors and queens, hermaphrodites and freaks, Mars and Venus. They are in constant conflict and attraction: the climax is a fusion of masculine and feminine, black and white, opulence and emptiness. A refined erotism shows through his works: “provoked desires and passion, are whispered in the ear of a lover as if they were words that become languidly colors”. “Naked statuesque bodies are perfectly refined, you can almost hear the rustle of silken fabrics, bucolic or unreal landscapes return to us as famous mythological scenes”. Looking through these art works it is visible that what inspires La Tassa could be defined as a collage of experiences: memories, desires, fantasies and undefined erotic suggestions. These aspects impose, repulse and blend to each other, creating a new perfectly balanced oneiric dimension. What is always present and characterizes La Tassa’s paintings is the constant research of pure beauty. This is not just an element of his production, but it is the key to understand the whole work itself: beauty as a shocking experience for the spectator, and the artist at the same time. His art is an ideal place, full of references from a personal past and present, that can be seen and shared as universal. Contemplating La Tassa’s works you can perceive the feeling of being accepted in an intimate space, made of lights and shadows, usually reserved for the artist only. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Doctors Of Dub | Doctors Of Dub | Doctors of Dub started life in 1991 as an 11-piece collective, based in London, UK, with a shared interest in reggae, jazz & world sounds. Over a period of 6 - 7 years, before personnel began to move on and the band shrunk and mutated into a more studio-based unit called Species, the band toured extensively in the UK giving rave-received live performances at festivals, clubs and arts centres from Penzance to Cupar. Whilst the band was principally a live unit the recorded material was interesting and innovative along broadly dub-reggae lines. Only a handful of DoD recordings exist - a 12" ep 'Themanawar' and 6-track k7 - featuring tracks produced by Jonny 'Milty' Milton (Aswad, Maxi Priest etc) - and the CD ep 'Tartarsaurus'. The band also recorded a session in 1995 for Andy Kershaw's Radio 1 programme. If you take the Soundcloud link below you can hear or download (for free!) all of these tracks plus some recently unearthed live recordings from a gig in St.Austell, Cornwall. A video of Doctors of Dub featuring the bands trademark strange stage attire and some of the characters who used to people the stage - not least the legendary Tartarsaurus - has topped 10,000 viewings on YouTube. The re-mix of one of the bands most popular live tracks around which the video is based (see link below) was performed by Andy Montgomery, a stalwart of the trendsetting On-U Sound crew, and, I hope you'll agree, there are some awesome dub moments. The other two tracks on the ep were re-mixed by Tom 'Another Fine Day' Green and Manchester's hard-hitting Yam-Yam team. In concert DoD eschewed rock-star pyrotechnics (too expensive), opting instead for low-key ultra-violet lighting and face/body painting coupled with vibrant day-glo stage gear. Audiences loved this approach, although various lighting engineers across the country have been known to throw a sulk at the band. The band enjoyed touring and this came across on stage - audiences can sense it and are always happy to join the party. Doctors of Dub personnel (original line-up): Bass guitar: Vernon Munday Rhythm & lead guitar, vocal: John Warner Rhythm guitar: Dom Williams Keyboards & violin: 'Trouser' Dave Thompson Lead vocals: Oli Johnson Alto sax, flute, visuals, backing vox: Chrissy Quayle Trumpet, percussion: Ian Wright Alto & soprano sax: Paul Micah Percussion/visuals: Russell Roberts Drums: Dave Atkin Sound man was Ricky Dear. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Manias / Sale Sangre | Manìas is: Drew M. Ruiz - All Guitars, Vocals Ernest Gurulé - Guitars Mike Orr - Drums Albuquerque, N.M., late 1993, guitarist Drew “M” Ruiz, and bassist “Bloody” Gary Garcia set out to form a brutal death/groove/grind band. After extensive deliberation this band inherited the name Manîas pronounced Man-I-as. Local live shows and an extensive tour of Mexico drew immediate attention to the band. Main songwriter Drew was greatly inspired by the reaction and support of the fans in Mexico. He felt the need to repay them the only way he knew possible. That was to write lyrics in Spanish, and christen the band with a Spanish name to be used exclusively in Mexico. That name was “Salé Sangre”. Confusion arose about the bands’ name because of this unique concept. Never the less “Manîas-Salé Sangre” (the band with two names), forged ahead and became known as “brutal bilingual” death metal. Prior to recording their first demo in 1995, bassist “Bloody Gary” was asked to depart due to substance abuse. Drew has gone through many line-up changes since. “Manîas” has had many trials and tribulations throughout the years, worst of which happened in early 1999, when Drew “M” Ruiz, was arrested for transporting a quantity of marijuana. Before Drew was sentenced to five years in federal prison in Oct., 1999, “Manîas” recorded its first full length CD on “Entrapment records” (now “Dead World Syndicate” Rec.), entitled “Identity Crisis”. “Identity Crisis” is an anthology of past demos, and the then ‘new’ songs. This CD was released while Drew was serving his sentence, Manîas-Salé Sangre couldn’t tour to support it. After 40 months behind the fence, in March 2003, Drew is released and is back fulfilling his promise to continue on this “brutal bilingual” path. It has been 2 years since Manîas is back in the forum. With the help of talented musicians: Ernest Gurulé on guitar, Mike Orr on drums, all 3 of the Manîas trinity contribute to the latest material. Give a listen and know that this countries penal system breeds anger and hate in its purest form. | Search | Add | 3 | The Fireside Wake | Andy Dalton | The Fireside Wake is an amalgam of musical styles pushed through the lens of high-energy rock & roll. All words and music are written and performed by a single Michigander. The debut album is 15 years in the making. Songwriting began in 2003, and recording began in 2013. Initially, the idea was to track a few songs to listen to personally. The project snowballed into an 19 song, 97 minute musical exploration. Disparate genres have been juxtaposed into one cohesive whole with one main element in common: the singular songwriter/performer. A very special private Digital Release Listening Party and Live Event was held on 12/21/19. Many people came and were treated to free booze, free food, an album art gallery, and a live solo interpretation of select songs from the album. A live band is currently being assembled and trained to bring this behemoth to life as accurately as possible. March 1st - March 31st, 2021, a Crowdfunding campaign ensued to finance the manufacturing of CD and Vinyl. Physical copies of the CD were made available 10/1/21. Vinyl pressings were made available 7/1/22 after many unforeseen setbacks. They do, however, look gorgeous and sound great. With the state of Live Music still a giant question mark, it's hard to say whether the Vinyl will get a proper release show any time soon. There are currently 3 ways to stay up to date with developing information: the official website www.TheFiresideWake.com, the official Facebook Page, and the email list (be sure to sign up from the home page). |
