Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Alex Schenk | Alexander Schenk | This producer has a long musical history. Since 1993 he has been on music and has many different styles of music through. Whether punk or rap, with his former colleagues M. Aurich and A. Lehmann produced, including drum and bass or Psytrance with Alex Sill under the pseudonym Psypunkz were no problem for him and only a logical development and discovery of music. These influences can be found at its current productions and guess deep down in the history of the producer. Since a few years, you can also listen live to the sound and enjoy the night. We look forward to welcome the interesting musician for Coexistence-Recordings. booking: booking@damm-records.com |

It explores the residual hum of forgotten technologies, lost broadcasts, and low-frequency atmospheres. With a sound aesthetic rooted in shortwave hiss, analog warmth, and minimal signal loops, the project evokes a sense of distant communication and meditative interference. Inspired by archival sound, number stations, and spectral decay, The Advanced Antennas builds slow-moving pieces that feel like intercepted memories — poetic, abstract, and quietly resonant.

| Search | Add | 3 | Lost European | Lost European, one of the few of bands in the entire world who have been personally invited by the People's Republic of China to tour their nation. Their style of music is "art rock"...alternative, progressive, intricate and orchestrated with precision crafted songs that are catchy and meaningful. Created by the rocket scientists who designed the Stealth Bomber, the F-18 Hornet and the Apache Helicopter, this apocolyptic CD is dark and moody, yet highly polished alternative rock filled with catchy melodies and powerful music. Lost European is a sophisticated band with a Euro-British sound. The songwriting is all original. The founding band members are degreed aerospace engineers from Britain and the U.S. Not only have they designed some of the most extraordinary high tech fighters and spacecraft of the world, they have also formed a high tech band of skilled musicians, composers, and computer programmers. | |

Their idea of a metal band is a synergy of intents, music, inspiration and visual impact. In November 2010 the band released “Leave Yourself Behind”, under Jetglow Recordings. The album is the result of more than two years of hard work and sacrifices and from the very first moment it shares with you the 8fulstrike essence. In June 2013 8fulstrike released an EP called "Environmental Breakdown". By now the band is working on the second full-length album.

| Search | Add | 3 | Eggvein | ∑GG√E|N, also known as Eggvein, is a Brisbane avant‑garde band that performs in styles including Surf, Grunge, Metal, Disco, Goth, and No Wave. The band is associated with Archie Moore (born 1970), an Aboriginal Australian multimedia artist whose installation kith and kin won the Golden Lion for Best National Participation at the 2024 Venice Biennale. Moore produces handmade album art and merchandise for the group. Archie Moore performs in the band as Magnus O’Puss. His stage appearance includes singing shirtless in tight black jeans while wearing a large goth‑styled wig that obscures his face. "The band is partly a joke and partly a therapeutic outlet for the working-class masculine angst of its members," Frieze Magazine wrote in 2024. "When performing, Moore, who turns 48 this year, appears charismatic, shy, depressed, angry and, given the band’s raucous sound, oddly obsessed with his lyrics. These conflicting energies spill over into his art practice, which centres on memory and the symbolic slippages he sees as integral to his Aboriginal identity, always shapeshifting across media in unexpected ways." The group is closely associated with Brisbane’s experimental music scene, including the now-closed Boxcopy ARI, which released the group's first 10" vinyl, produced by Lawrence English. The current lineup consists of Magnus O’Puss on vocals and woodwinds, David Ethix on guitar, Chells Bells on drums, Max Doubt on bass, and Cal C. Um on synthesizers. Earlier versions of the band included guitarist David M. Thomas. The band group recordings, video works, merch, and community‑based releases, and a music video titled 'Black or White' for The Institute of Modern Art. The band’s official manifesto states: “∑√ adhere to no particular genre or code other than the code of freak culture ∑√ choose and accept our public identity as a fiction of our own making ∑√ understand that to improve the culture we need to replace the toxic placeholders ∑√ do not work with bastards ∑√ say what is and is not deemed work ∑√ are comfortable with producing mythologies ∑√ are happy to be misinterpreted, misunderstood, or missed” | |

| Search | Add | 3 | John A. Serri | John A. Serri | John A. Serri (Born January 27, 1954) is a part time composer and a full time technologist and entrepreneur located in the San Francisco Bay Area. Born and raised in New York City, at an early age John was fascinated by music and started composing pieces at the age of 12 using a two octave magnus electric chord organ, as that was all his family could afford at the time. As a child and teenager Serri received some formal training through the New York City School System playing the trombone in various bands and orchestras. Only later in life did he start a serious study of music and composition. After receiving a PHD in Physics from MIT and establishing a career in High Technology, his first piano lesson was at the ripe age of 35. He advanced quickly on the classical piano and was soon playing in piano recitals for advanced pianists. However his real interest and passion was in composition using synthesizers. John was influenced by a 50 / 50 mix of Rock/ Blues (Beatles, Rolling Stones, AC/DC, David Bowie, Jimi Hendrix, the Doors) and Classical (Mozart , Chopin, Beethoven, Debussy and Rachmaninoff) resulting in his own music being an interesting mix of styles. His early compositions appear in the Albums "Reflective Atmospheres" and "Better Late Than Never" released on JMP Music. Serri's style is deliberately loose and improvizational, keeping away from formal rigid timing and conventional harmonic structures. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Larry Gore | Larry Gore (1923-1973) was a Bronx-born comedy writer and public relations man whose clients included stars such as John Wayne, Anita Ekberg, Red Skelton, Tina Louise and Tiny Tim -- he was publicist for the wedding of Tiny Tim to Miss Vicki on Johnny Carson's "Tonight Show." He wrote for MAD Magazine from the 1950s to the early 1970s, and was also MAD's first public relations man. Beginning sometime in the late 1950s he would sometimes get masthead credit as "Propaganda Minister" or being in charge of "Publicity Lies." Gore would plant fake newspaper column items reporting crazy things like MAD was going to publish a waterproof edition that could be read in the shower, or that its employees were paid in $2 bills. MAD publisher William Gaines perhaps paid him the highest complement possible in a 1960 interview: "I didn't think we needed a press agent, but Feldstein did. What Gore says embarasses me. I can't communicate with him. He's even madder than we are. But I suppose if we've got to have a press agent, we might as well have a Mad one." It is claimed by some that Larry Gore was the only MAD writer who was kicked off the magazine for being too Mad. He is credited with several famous back covers skewering Richard Nixon, some published posthumously by the magazine. Larry was also a comedy publisher in his own right. He wrote a truly looney newspaper comic strip called "Larry Gore's Thing" with MAD artist Bob Clarke providing the art. It ran from 1968 to 1972 in Newsday and was syndicated around the country as well for a while. Oh, yeah...he made some comedy records, too... | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Damarge | Damarge existed as a functioning unit between late 1981 and 1984 and were based in the Southend-on-Sea area and comprised: * Bill 'Kirt Tempest' Bailey: keys/tapes/electronic beats, * Iain 'Oaf' Weir: bass, * Cliff Gee: voice, * Mark 'Snowboy' Cotgrove: percussion. The band was originally formed by Kirt, Oaf & Cliff who all attended Westcliff High School together. The band was later complimented by the addition of Hadleigh's greatest musical export - Snowboy - sometime in early 1983 after a chance meeting with Kirt at Honky Tonk music store (in Hadleigh, Essex, UK) earlier that year. The original 3-piece band practiced in Oaf's bedroom with pretty minimal equipment. The first song to be written was 20,000 Souls - a chorus chant about West Ham United's Upton Park football ground in East London. The band's output was marked by three relatively distinct phases. Early Period: 1981 to early 1982 A period of early exploration and experimentation - usually undertaken in Oaf's bedroom-cum-studio or Kirt's lounge. Snowboy was not a member at this time and no polished recordings were made and just one gig performed (Zero 6 where all these songs were performed). Songs written at this time included In Remembrance of M.P. (about a good friend, Mark Paveley, who tragically killed himself while only 18 years old) and Jazz-Funk - a concoction of self-indulgent solo Fender-Rhodes improvised jazz riffs (in the vein of the jazz-funk style popular at the time) and an eccentric cacophony of sounds and effects resulting from feeding the Dr. Rhythm through a Big Muff distortion peddle and a Korg x911 guitar synthesizer Mid Period: 1982 to early 1984 This was the most productive era and was marked by Snowboy joining the band (any connection anyone?). Bodyrock was written and Damarge played at The Cliffs Pavilion band contest (one of the biggest venues in Essex). This phase marked the use of more sophisticated equipment, notably - all be it on day hire - the E-mu Drumulator sample drum machine and completion of the main demo tape using some borrowed digital effects. Other songs written/recorded here was Cold (a 5 minute instrumental that would be described as Dark Ambient nowadays and of which only a couple minutes survive), I Feel Love (the classic Donna Summer track) and Break On Through (To The Other Side) - a cover of the classic Doors song. Late Period: 1984 This period was marked by a more fragmented set of styles and a few songs that were never recorded but performed live a few times. These songs include Bostok & Chandler (the authors of an A-level mathematics text book), O.B.N. and Heteroman - an outrageously pumping gay-disco anthem with a catchy Eastern-style riff. The band never officially broke-up, members just went on to do their own things and still keep in touch. There is always talk of reforming for a one-off gig - but current obligations and logistics may make this worthy goal unrealistic. Well, at least for the time being ? but then again? | |
