Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | The Fireworks Factory | The Fireworks Factory formed in late 1984, in Dublin Ireland. One of the forgotten bands of its time. The Fireworks Factory were formed from the ashes of Ambition in Glass, who in 1982 release a 12" single on Rough Trade Records, tracks included When Allison When & And It Rains, produced by Colin Richardson (The Chameleons). The Firework's had a broad range of influences from The Cure, The Cult, The Sisters, The Mission to Echo and The Bunnymen who many would say sounded alike. The Firework's released five Demo tapes, toured all over Europe and supported many big name bands of its time. like "The Thomson Twins.", " Everything but the Girl", "Aztec Camera", Blue in Heaven", "Light a Big Fire" to name a few. The band enjoyed much Radio Airplay in Ireland on Capital Radio and RTE's Dave Fanning show. In 1986 The band recorded a Three track Demo "Under Glass" which was produced by Paul Thomas (Engineer on U2's Boy Album) and Jacknife Lee (who now produces REM and U2). In 1987 the band nearly signed to EMI Records, but after some early recordings with EMI in London, nothing was released and no deal was signed, the band split up in early 1988 and left some wonderful music behind them, but now where back "Alive N' Kicking".

Search | Add | 3 | 42 Ford Prefect | 42 Ford Prefect is punk rock and roll formed in Portland, Oregon. They draw on their street punk, thrash, and American rock n roll roots to create a sonic signature that is entirely their own. A spastically crafted wall of fuzz, shotgun vocals, with an absolute lack of subtlety or nuance. Inspired by equal parts science fiction, whiskey, and horror, their songs use the imagery of fiction to express an uncompromising rage at both conservatism and pop-culture. There’s comedy here too, but don’t discount them for having a laugh: these songs are heartfelt and they come across as anthems. 42 Ford Prefect consists of Keith (guitar/vox), Jesse (drums/vox), and Patrick (guitar/vox)

Search | Add | 3 | Yakima Jera | Coldwave/minimal artist Dark Wave flows to End Wave Yakima Jera is a duo from Regensburg and Munich that produces synth rhythms and dance beats with vocals and guitar. Founded in 2022, the music can be attributed to a mixture of synth-pop, dark-wave, and electronic music with a touch of 80ies sound. Fascinated by the beauty of nature, the aesthetics of city darkness, the Bavarian Forest at night and the great emotions of people interactions, a cinematic music construct is built. A mélange of the joy of Joy Division, the poems of Patti Smith, the bleakness of Black Metal and the guitar sounds of 80s and 90s pop/punk influences the danceable dynamic sound of desire and reality.

Through collective creation and experimentation, this "free rock" band defends a music as free as written and invites us into its universe, sometimes contemplative, other times disconcerting, structured by themes winding between calm and frenzy.

They show immense talent, potential, and promise for their age. Their first single "Terbium" released on Empire Audio in late 2013 and was supported by Nari & Milani while being rotated on Tiesto's Club Life for four consecutive weeks. Shortly after the start of their career, they've thrown down sets along side names such as: Bro Safari, Excision, ETC!ETC, LooKaS, Trollphace, Kayzo, Snails, Crizzly, 12th Planet, Brillz, Antiserum, RUDEBRAT, Protohype, SPL, Steady, and Victor Niglio. In late 2014, DIRTY LAZRS released "ATTACK!" on Joy Records which received a overwhelming amount of support from names such as; Alex Mind, Bobby Duque, Broz Rodriguez, Dean Cohen, DJ's From Mars, FYER, JAGGS, Julian R, Levi & Suiss, Nari & Milani, Quintino, Tommy Trash, Tony Arzadon, and Valentino Khan. Also getting major support from Tommy Trash as he dropped Attack! at Ultra Music Festival Miami while millions of people watched and listened during the live stream. These two gentlemen know exactly what the people want in both DJing, and in their original productions. To stand out from others, they are always trying to incorporate new things into productions and live mixes. With their motivation, and dedication they will never stop trying to reach people with their music. It is clear that this is only the beginning for this talented pair, with only a few tracks released, and producing for only two years, DIRTY LAZRS have quite a few achievements under their belt. |

“A veces me dicen esa voz yo la he escuchado. |

Search | Add | 3 | Trinity River Whalers | The Trinity River Whalers, a D/FW-based Celtic/Folk/Rock 5-piece group is seeking to expand their horizons and explore new venues. The band is heavily influenced by Celtic music and sea songs that lend themselves to the Whalers' talent for big harmonies, while borrowing freely from other genres, blending in a bit of blues, swing, or Americana/country to suit their style and the event. As singer-songwriters, the Whalers offer original songs, plus tasty selections from the likes of Steve Earle, Tom Waits, Garth Brooks and Van Morrison, with a "Fleetwood Mac meets the Clancy Brothers" feel. Pub favorites, the Whalers, are also regulars at the North Texas Irish Festival and the Austin Celtic Festival, plus the guys, who are former members of the Blarney Brothers (Randy Christian accordion; percussion; Mike Price rhythm guitar; Rodger Harrison bass; Steve Harrison bouzouki, guitar, didgeridoo), are veterans of some of the biggest Celtic festivals in the country, including the Milwaukee Irish Festival and the Boston Sail 2000, as well as Ft. Worth's Main Street Arts Festival, Denton Jazz & Art Festival and other similar civic and cultural events. Mandolin maven and lead guitarist, Marj Troyer, is a roadhouse rock refugee and adds a perfect 5th to the Whaler's harmony. Proving the Whalers' sound isn't just for pubs and Irish festivals, they are featured at special events of varying types, including the Lightcatcher Winery in west Ft. Worth where they can be heard throughout the year at their Christmas Toys for Tots show, the July 4th Bash, St. Patrick's Day Bacchanalia and the annual Crush Day/Lucy Dance, that grows every year and showcases the band's versatility.

Sgt 6 (aka Mark Henry) - vocals, guitar Rock Bottom (aka Dan Henry) - drums Subarton (aka Chris Subarton) - bass "The Dummies moved to NYC in 1996, shortly after recording their full length debut on Get Hip. Months later, the band decided they hated the way their ambitiously recorded album ended up being produced. They then got lean, mean, yet remained unclean, aiming for a heavier sound. Sgt 6 took over all guitar duties, while Subarton hopped over to bass. As a three piece, the band changed their name to the Sgt 6 Assault to drop the sloppy garage moniker/stigma. The band create the sound of true drug-addled, hate-inspired, precision punk rock in the form of one minute tunes... the sound that began echoing within the minds of these once-rural-now-urban transplantees. They first released a 5 song 7" EP through their own label, 007 Records; uncorked the second as a limited issue, one-sided jukebox single; then cut a tune for Philadelphia’s Carbon 14 Magazine. For their fourth release, the Assault recorded 2 cuts just prior to their collapse. Originally intended for Bag of Hammers Records, this never came to fruition; the 7" was released years later on Rapid Pulse Records".

Search | Add | 3 | Adaptive Unconscious | Travis Holtzclaw | The adaptive unconscious is the phenomenon of your unconscious mind making a decision that could drastically change your life in a matter of a second. For instance, you are driving on the freeway, & you feel the urge to switch lanes but not for any particular reason. All of a sudden the car that was in front of you prior, crashes & causes a pile up. Had you stayed in that lane, your life could have come to an end. It’s the unknown desire to do something, & not knowing why. It’s almost a psychic pull from deep within us, that we all have, or will experience. I’ve been writing since 2006, I started out using nothing but presets, a cheap mic, & no idea what I was doing. To this day, I still have no idea what I’m doing. I have gone through quite the list of names for myself such as “Fall Of Icarus, Ouroboros, Prophet Six, & Echo Lost Stasis” to name a few. I held on to “Prophet Six” for years as merely a placeholder. The Prophet 6000 was a synthesizer in the 80’s that could play 6 sounds at once. I got attached to “Adaptive Unconscious” because it spoke to me, not just because of the meaning, but because of my music, it’s almost asleep, as it is alive, which is what I take from these two words. I record in my closet using yet another cheap mic, and some reference speakers and a good amount of plug-ins, other than that I am basically doing it all the hard way. Everything is input with a mouse, I don’t play anything live. So if you are hearing a piano playing, that could have taken days to do, because I have to arrange each note one by one, and try to get it to sound authentic. I also have a knack for making my own samples & mucking up the sound digitally somehow. I'll take everyday items and make them into something much more. For instance, a spoon in a glass, or dragging my nails down a guitar string. If you are taking the time to listen, please know that I appreciate the time you take, & all I ask is to keep your mind open with it. This has always been about longing to connect with the listener, to find understanding in a stranger by letting them tap into my personal self, or perhaps tap into theirs, with no means of being invasive. If any of the trials I have had to face could possibly help someone through theirs, then it was never for nothing. The more I progress in life, & music the more I learn and grow...so it's all a great path, & one I am happy to share. |
