Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 12 | Caroline Schub | Caroline Schub is a multi-media artist [b.1990] from the Hudson Valley, New York. After years of living with chronic illness starting from childhood, she began documenting herself as a form of self-preservation and survival. Her work is an unauthorized public record of a chronic illness. These portraits have been created using different mediums and exist in varying scales while pushing through vacillating emotional filters of rage and fear. Caroline’s understanding of her body's capacity for degeneration forms the double-edged sword that inspires her work. Her method of image creation has more in common with the labor of construction work than with the weaving of dreams. [Quoted from her homepage] | |

Together with a long-time musical acquaintance, Lars Wessel, he went on to create the foundations of the band. The first groundwork had been laid when Rhea Logan joined the band in March 2011 as a vocalist, composer and the author of lyrics. In late 2011, during the process of working on the band's first material, the concept for Revolution Unfolding was born. Set on that course, the band focused on writing, composing and arranging the new songs for the next several months, concluding in April 2012 with the recording of vocals in the Silent Wings Studio in Oer-Erkenschwick, Germany. During that time, Alex von Uchtrup joined the band forces with his bass guitar.

| Search | Add | 12 | Ellis McLintock | Ellis (Lee) McLintock | Canadian trumpeter, conductor, arranger, born in Toronto November 18, 1921 and died in Stratford, Ontario September 25, 1997. McLintock studied cornet with his father, Ellis, and trumpet with A.J. Williams. In 1936, McLintock placed first in the audition for the Canadian contingent of the British Empire Boys' Band, and toured England for two months. After his return to Canada, he won an RCM scholarship. The Toronto Philharmonic Orchestra made him fourth trumpet in 1937, and the following year, while still a high-school student, he joined the TSO as principal trumpet and simultaneously held the same position with the RCM and the University of Toronto. He also began to be heard on radio at that time. McLintock undertook further studies in New York in 1940 and 1941 with Ernest Williams. He toured in 1941 throughout North America as a member of the All-American Youth Orchestra under Stokowski, then served as soloist with the Central Band of the RCAF in Ottawa. McLintock was principal trumpet 1944-5 again of the TSO and 1952-63 of the CBC Symphony Orchestra, and also played in CBC radio orchestras under Lucio Agostini, Jack Kane, Bert Niosi, and others. He led his own dance band (Ellis McLintock, His Trumpet and Orchestra) 1944-50 in Toronto (Casa Loma, Palais Royale), Montreal (Belmont Park), and Peterborough, Muskoka, and Burlington, Ont; the band ranked as one of the leading Toronto groups of the swing era. McLintock began playing for television shows in the 1950s and 1960s, such as The Wayne and Shuster Show, Cross Canada Hit Parade, and The Music Makers, and worked at Stratford's Festival Theatre under Louis Applebaum. During the 1960s he again led a dance band (Old Mill, Toronto), established the Ellis McLintock Concert Band, and was music director for the Community Folk Art Council of Canada (which presented the annual "Nationbuilders - Canada" at the CNE Grandstand) and of the Canadian Pavilion Concert Band at Expo 67. In later years, after cancer surgery left him unable to play his instrument at the same level, he taught high-school music, first in Thornhill, Ont, and then in Orillia, Ont, retiring after 1986 to Delhi, Ont. He and his second wife, Erna, moved to Stratford, Ont, around 1993. McLintock was named 1994 Musician of Distinction by the Toronto Musicians' Association. |

(Munechika Katsutoshi) | Katsutoshi 'Kuso' Munechika, also known as [a=Kusomiso] and under various other names, was an underground Japanese noise/experimental musician, bass player, founder of [l=Cosmo Baby] label. In the mid-eighties, Katsutoshi was an intermittent member of the controversial noise collective [a=The Gerogerigegege] and had collaborated with its founder [a=Juntaro Yamanouchi] on many occasions. They recorded a few tracks together as [a=Gero-Kuso] for [r=8818286] cassette compilation, released in 1994 by [l742140] (later re-released on the '99 [r5804914] memorial tape). In the liner notes to a '98 [r=517721], Kuso is credited, alongside with [a=Toshinori Fukuda] on drums, as a vocalist on "75 Live Songs (1987)," a 31-min long track which is supposed to be a 'remastered' [m=584338] album. On the original Tokyo Anal Dynamite, recorded in Oct 1987, vocals were simply marked as [a577748]—in Japanese, it literally means "he/she/they died," an equivalent of 'obiit' or a 'dagger' † symbol next to the deceased person's name. Fukuda, who wasn't really much known other than [a=Dynamite Gero] and didn't have any credited appearances after ~1988, could've already passed away by the T.A.D. CD was released in 1990. Unlike him, Munechika certainly continued playing and recording at least until the mid-nineties, which calls the credibility of either Tokyo Anal Dynamite's or Recollections Of Primary Masturbation's liner notes in question. He had been in the hospital since Nov 2017 and died due to aspiration pneumonia on 12th May 2020, aged 51. |

Do najważniejszych dokonań „artystycznych” zespołu należą: 1. W roku 1996 – pierwsze demo „Zagrożenie Dla Społeczeństwa” i występ na głogowskim przeglądzie kapel …rockowych 2. 1997 – drugie demo „Do Ostatniey Szarey!” nagrane w Przemkowskim Ośrodku Kultury. 3. 1998 – trzecie demo „Próba” i czwarte demo „LCK 1998 T.E.S.T / Zachód. Her mother is a well known Tibetan folk singer and although she wanted to follow in her mother's steps, a love for pop music made her chose a different path. Her music mainly deals with Tibetan themes but she is also influenced by Jazz, R-n-B, Rock-n-Roll and Latin music, which are all reflected in her work. She is able to shift quite easily from piercing high pitches to soft low tones. Han Hong is also one of the few famous singers in China who is also an accomplished songwriter. Since she started composing in 1993 she has written a number of popular songs for other singers. The rise to stardom came unexpected to many people in her surroundings since she didn't have the typical looks associated with a successful popstar. She has now established her own label intending to explore and train more talented singers, giving them a helping hand on the rocky road.

| Search | Add | 12 | Φυτά | ΦΥΤΑ | ΦΥΤΑ (plants) split in November 2013 after a frantic course in the field of botanical music/art creativity. What would one mostly remember of the scandalous path of the adventurous duo from northern Greece! The songs that talked about all pessing human issues and were so loved by ordinary people and critics? The partnerships with household names of the Greek-speaking music scene? The shimmering guests that honoured with their presence their historical (now) first concert? Let ‘s see how it all began. FYTA consist of F89 and F78, two controversial personalities with different backgrounds. F89 has always wanted to deal with music but did not manage (evil tongues say it’s due to lack of talent) and found support in the musically experienced F78 who always believed in young kids with vision and passion. Together they started working on their botanical debut ΑΝΘΗ (flowers). Soon, new pathways seemed to appear and they decided that music as we know it does not suit them and so with their second album they introduced a new genre, so-called bratmusik (fried music) where frying is both literal (recordings in the kitchen and a special interest on cooking themes) and metaphorical (crispy sounds, sautéed feelings and fatty performances). Some more releases on and after they had enough of music and music had enough of them, they decided to move to the fine art world and express themselves freer as it were, if you know what i mean, in three-dimensional space. So alongside another 50 special friends, they began building a shambling playground at the athens biennale. Harsh stuff were expressed about this controversial project, including ‘ You are even worse than Plato’. A little later, FYTA decided to consensually split due to internal disagreements. Today, long after their split, FYTA break the silence. They are the hostesses of the FYTINI portal, where the special friends they acquired all these years joyously come together to devise creative disasters. FTN’s main principle was that of FYTA themselves: ‘no more boredom in the Greek / Greek-speaking music scene’. |

(Pisma S Iznanki, PSI – Letters From The Inner Side) saw the light once in summer night 2004 in an empty room somewhere in Moscow, Russia. Its name has appeared of its own accord, from nowhere, and has fastened tightly to the project. Initially, harsh digital noise was the basic guideline for PSI, but soon project push the envelope and embrace all fields of post-industrial. Now (2008) PSI is going to create gloom and brutal soundscapes that put the listener in a horror world of his own dismal remembrances. Neither occultism nor abstract researches are the inspiration source for PSI but awful russian reality that’s around us: repeating hell of everyday life, dull insanity, loneliness, hopeless gloom from inside and thousands of personal apocalypses that are going on every minute all around – all that things without rules and dogmata inspire PSI. |

| Search | Add | 12 | Oblivious Artefacts | Oblivious Artefacts visual art and much more. We are a collective working in Roma, Palermo, Berlin. Oblivious Artefacts is a visual experiment, a collaboration between Ignazio Mortellaro, Rosanna Costantino, Marco Morici, José Florentino, Glauco Marino and Luca Mortellaro. Their work explores the dynamics between people and the use of space, and the interaction of natural and fabricated environments. The medium of video acts as a tool for investigating the perception of images, invoking moods that range from the surreal to the objective. Technology is kept to a minimum and technical restriction is imposed in order to release creativity. Mortellaro and Costantino take influence from early C20th experimental cinema where utterly iconic imagery was created despite huge technological constraints. Each Oblivious VJ set or AV performance involves the use of original material and forms an ongoing research into human anatomy and landscapes. Oblivious Artefacts is also a visual label, have also worked with outstanding underground labels, including Prologue, Edit Select, Ear to Ground, Meerestief , Lineal Records. 2009 sees Oblivious join the Stroboscopic Artefacts family, a Berlin based techno label where they are the resident graphic designers; realising the entire design concepts from 12” artwork to video teasers to VJ sets. | |

| Search | Add | 12 | Lushys | Corey MacDonald | First djing at some of the most memorable events of the early 2000's in Ottawa, Ontario. Corey MacDonald started off promoting raves under the UnderGround Soundz Moniker. Moving forward his early style was a blend of Breakbeat Hardcore and Happy Hardcore similar to the early KFA sound and old skool revival of the late 90s/early 00s. As time pushed forward he started a family of labels under the 613Massive Collective, pushing releases from House/Electro, Breaks, Dubstep, Trance, NRG, Hard House and Drum n Bass. Its this eclectic taste that has lead to his success in reaching over 10,000 downloads on his History of Rave: Volume 1 (1987-1991)Release after nearly 3 years of inactivity. Now releasing under the 5me-OH! and LS1 alias, the Lushys name will be retired sometime in early 2011 with a release of 11 years of Lushys. Including early productions, and the track that launched him into international recognition (You and I - Lushys Remix). Corey MacDonald is currently working on a 12 track Album to be released mid 2011 under the 5me-OH! alias on Sugar Daddy Records which recently charted in the top 10 on TID with the release "Anthem for The Chemical Generation". |

| Search | Add | 12 | Viennese Symphony Orchestra | Not a genuine orchestra. "Vienna Symphony Orchestra" is the standard name for the [a=Wiener Symphoniker] in English. Variations, like "Viennese" or "Symphonic", tend to be less legitimate entities appearing on budget labels - look at the label and the conductor credit and investigate. With 1950s low-budget US labels like Remington, the orchestra tends to be the The [a=Tonkünstler Orchestra] - especially if the conductor is someone like [a1412005] or [a1300736]. Please use the correct orchestra name with ANV, if it is identifiable. | |
