Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 12 | The New Princes Toronto Band | In 1923 Sam Laschiver, who was the booking agent for fashionable 'Rector's Club' in Tottenham Court Road, London, met up with Toronto saxophonist [a=Hal Swain] in Canada. Swain gathered together a band of young jazz musicians, which Laschivier called "The Toronto Orchestra" and they were duly booked on a one year contract for the London club. This band were: Hal Swain (sax/cornet); Billy Hall (trombone/sax); Frank Walsh (piano/organ); Dave Caplan (banjo); Ran Garrison (sousaphone, trombone & sax); Ken Kenny (drums). On arrival in the UK the band found the club had closed. Laschiver got them a booking at the 'New Princes Restaurant' in Piccadilly and the band became resident there for two years - thus becoming "The New Princes Toronto Band". The band recorded in London on the Columbia label between Nov 1924 & Feb 1926. Some recordings were made for the Crystalate company under pseudonyms, as the band were contracted to Columbia. Labels for these were 'Imperial', 'Currys', 'Oliver', 'Pigmy' and 'Mimosa'. The 'disguised' band also issued on 'Regal'. Swain departed in 1926 and Caplan became the leader of the band (now with Harry Hoffman and Art Christmas) taking on his name as "[a=Dave Caplan's Toronto Band]". By the time this band toured Berlin in the summer of 1926 the line-up had changed further; Dave Caplan, Les Allen, Lorne Cole, Harry Hoffman, Laurie Day, Art Christmas, Arthur Lousley, Arthur Calkin & Jack Collins. | |

| Search | Add | 12 | James Kimbrough | Born in 1926, on a cotton farm near Florence, Alabama, USA. He was attracted to country music by recordings he heard as a child, first by the Carter Family and then in the late 30s, the recordings of Roy Acuff. He was particularly drawn to the sound of the dobro on Acuff’s recordings and was totally impressed by the playing of Pete Kirby. During service in the US Navy during World War II, Kimbrough met Kirby and bought one of his old dobro guitars. He recalled years later that ‘By the time I got it, it was the most beat up dobro you ever saw but it still had the sound and I was the happiest person in the world’. After the war, Kimbrough returned to the farm and although he never became a full time musician, he played and sang with various groups. A dedicated traditionalist, his Vocals work was reminiscent of Acuff’s. He also wrote many songs such as the biographical ‘Sundown At Our Old Home Place’ and dobro instrumentals but did not record until 1973. During the 80s, he formed his own Kimbro Records and also had releases on Cattle, a German label. | |

| Search | Add | 12 | Susanne Löwenhard | Solveig Leiditz | Swedish songwriter and musician, born 1922, died February 4, 2004. Maiden name Solveig Leiditz, daughter of Swedish/Norwegian visual artist Ingegerd Risberg-Leiditz, who also designed some of her record sleeves. Artist name Solveig Löwenhard and later Susanne Löwenhard - since it was easier to pronounce. She was known for songs such as "Kåk i Haga", "Ragnarök" and "Saltstoden", as well as for her children's songs. She managed to make five LPs, of which three for the adult audience and two for children. The children's songs also found their way into the "Klapp och Klang" records, which sold gold and thus gave the songs a very wide distribution. She was also known for her translations from Norwegian, of songs such as "Vi ska inte sova bort sommarnatten" and much more. In addition to her own records, she was active in Visans Vänner in Gothenburg, participating in their compilation album from the 60s (which also collected artists such as Evert Taube and Alf Hambe) and was herself one of the forces behind a later collection in the 70s. her nephew Ingemar Ragnemalm performed with her a couple of times on certain stages in Gothenburg, but around the turn of the millennium she definitely stopped singing. In her last years she lived in Vegahemmet in Gothenburg where she was cared for. Decades of anorexia finally took their toll. Her husband Percy Löwenhard (magician and pianist ”Mr Percy”) had already died a number of years before her. |

| Search | Add | 12 | Negativ Null | Founded in october 2015, NEGATIV NULL consists of M. Thiele, C. Bass and S. Urschel. Within one month`s time, NN wrote 16 songs, recorded them and banned them on vinyl. With NN`s participants` other bands BITTERNESS EXHUMED, MINDFLAIR and HEAVEN SHALL BURN in mind, NN is way more stripped down, raw and spontanious in its execution. With a mindset deeply based in fast, short and agressive D.I.Y. music culture, NN decided to unleash their view on modern day society through their native language, german that is. All songs clock in between 10 and 40 seconds time. With a total playtime roughly over 5 minutes on their debut 7“ entitled „Wir können gar nicht so viel fressen, wie wir kotzen wollen“, you know this shit is not indie-pop. | |

| Search | Add | 12 | Trase | TRASE (Erik de Wal, 1976) is a MC from The Netherlands and brings the real Hip Hop since '91. Went for his in 1997 after breaking up with his former band. TRASE stands for Things Really Ain't So Easy. TRASE in fact is his tagname which he came up with around 1989/1990. Basically formed for the great letters and it's diversity to design with. TRASE originally started as a graffiti artist. After elementary school TRASE discovered his love for the manipulation of the English language. Growing up in the north of The Netherlands, he tried to hit every mic available. Back in 1995 he started rocking house parties and ciphers alongside his formerly partner in rhyme, Signha and DJ Dear. Together they formed "The Buckwild Tribe", a group which fell apart in the end of 1997. In a period of 4 years they recorded some demo tracks which were never officially released. TRASE took it to the next level when he decided to leave the group and by taking manners in his own hand. It was 1998. TRASE was on mission to pursue his own solo career. He was tired of the no progress type of phases he had been dwelling in during the last years. The match with IMPRO turned out to be promising; they released their first product in 2001. The debut EP “The Encounta” attained favorable reviews. In the period after TRASE has worked on a project with several local artists and started working on another solo release. Originally he was to release a fully length untitled LP, but after completing several tracks it was shelved for reasons that were not entirely clear. In 2003 TRASE took his time to focus on new songs and has spent a lot time recording and performing. The same year he released “The Essentials”, a compilation of several songs recorded between 2001 and 2004. In 2007 another album (“Fase Of Transition”) was released. The past decades he connected, collaborated and performed with artists from Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, Spain and The United States. In 2012 several albums were released; One EP followed by two albums. October 2013 saw the release of a new collaborative album with Sneek-based producer E.daBeatdetonator entitled "Back In Prime Form" on the Freshmess Music label. The first single was "Listen". Three years later another single from the album (“Wonder Years”), received an award for Best Hip Hop Song (January 2016) in America. In 2014 TRASE is back to the lab working on new material, because it’s about time for Hip Hop to resurface with true lyrics. With his latest release “The Travels of TRASE TRONIK”, which has been recorded between 2014 and 2017, TRASE continues his career as an solo artist. On this seventh studio album TRASE has worked with several national and international producers, which gives the overall outlook of the project a real diverse sound. Heavily nineties Hip Hop experienced like all TRASE albums, TRASE sets the vibe for a 45 minute ride through all kinds of subjects. To promote the album three singles and videos have been released so far. The album also will be digitally available through all top digital music services like Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, TIDAL and many more. | |

| Search | Add | 12 | Preliminary Saturation | Wouter Jaspers, Steffan de Turck | Preliminary Saturation is the electro-acoustic, free improv, drone-duo in which Dutch sound artists Wouter Jaspers and Steffan de Turck combine their forces. To some extent, both might be better known for their solo-projects: Franz Fjodor and staplerfahrer, respectively. As Franz Fjodor, Jaspers displays a fascination for the darker side of life; with self-made instruments he creates a sound that shippers between droning soundscapes, depressed noise and dark folk. His style signature varies with his mood: from psycho chants to punk screams, from guitar oriented drones to field recordings. De Turck plays around with crunched and broken (micro)sounds, electro-magnetic waves and noise. Sometimes in a back-to-basics analogue setting, other times solemnly using his powerbook. Every once and a while, they come together in the safe harbor of one of their living rooms, pop open a bottle of wine, light some cigarettes and start improvising as long as the mood is right. |

| Search | Add | 12 | Robert Maxwell Case | Robert Maxwell Case | Robert Maxwell Case, born in Olean, NY, was raised in the rural Appalachin Mountain village of Franklinville, NY. In junior high he began playing guitar and singing in rockabilly bands, performing after high school basketball games and at teen clubs. His primary group, The Vibratones, performed seasonally at Lime Lake Pavilion dance hall where Levon Helm & The Hawks and The Rockin' Rebels ("Wild Weekend") also played regularly. He was graduated from Ten Broeck Academy / Franklinville Central School and attended the University of Buffalo for two years where his bands were contemporaries of Stan & The Ravens, The Rising Sons (featuring Jimmy Caliri) and Ronnie James Dio & Elf. (Robert's group opened for Link Wray & The Wraymen and sometimes performed as "The Roddymen," WKBW deejay and "Price Is Right" announcer Rod Roddy's record hop group.) Robert transferred to St. Bonaventure University and was graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Business Management. While there he worked in small R&B and pop-rock combos, gaining an opening act slot for Patti Page at the Three Rivers Inn in Syracuse, NY. Following college, he moved to New York City and signed with Herb Alpert's A&M Records, releasing one single, "For Awhile We Helped Each Other Out" b/w "When I'm Wrong You Never Forget." After brief stints with Eastman Kodak Co. and the U.S. Army, Robert began performing as a soloist in the Rochester, NY metro. His singles "Cookie & Lila" and "Movin' In The Same Circles" both charted Top 10 on country station WNYR and his original, "Livin' The Life," received national notice in Billboard magazine. Over the next 15 years he released two vinyl LPs, "Let The Cowboy Dance" and "Rest Your Love On Me Awhile," four cassette-only releases, "That's All," "Let It Be Me," "Case Country," and "Always," as well as numerous vinyl singles. During this time, Robert appeared as opening act in concert with national recording artists including: Ricky Nelson, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, Marty Robbins, Tammy Wynette, The Statler Brothers, Riders In The Sky, Asleep At The Wheel, Sonny James, The Bellamy Brothers, Little Jimmy Dickens, David Houston, Cal Smith, the Original Drifting Cowboys (Hank Williams Sr.’s band), and Ronny Robbins (Marty’s son.) Robert performed regularly at the Americana Rochester hotels, the Country Warehouse, the Schoolhouse, the Periwinkle Pub, and was a staple of the city's annual Lilac Festival. For three years he owned and operated country music venue Case's California Ranch on Honeoye Lake in New York state's Finger Lakes district. The Gannett Rochester Democrat & Chronicle newspaper's "Best Of" reader's poll named him the area's top local country music artist. Robert was a guest entertainer aboard a country music theme cruise on Norwegian Cruise Lines' SS Norway starring George Jones and Mickey Gilley who suggested he try Branson, MO. He began ten seasons on the Branson strip, entertaining at such venues as the Country Pub, Roy Clark's Loft, the Polynesian Princess showboat (music director), and the Welk Theatre's Canteen Lounge, releasing the cassette-only "Alive And Well In Branson, MO" and the Hawaiian-themed "Holo Aku." Simultaneously he worked seven winter seasons at the Orlando, FL metro's western-themed resort River Ranch. After a year in Ft. Lauderdale (Armadillo Cafe and Coop's in Davie. FL), Robert relocated to the San Antonio / Austin, TX area, performing regularly in Gruene (Gruene River Grille) and Canyon Lake (the Lakeview, Papa Docks, the Old Windmill, and Anchor's Landing). There he was opening act in concert for Earl Poole Ball (Johnny Cash band), Two Tons Of Steel, and the Ace In The Hole band (George Strait band.) For the last several years Robert has called Slick, OK (Tulsa metro) home, entertaining one year in Branson, MO (Big Cedar Lodge) and five years at Tulsa's Western Country Diner. He again opened for Riders In The Sky and in 2014 formed the western music duo A Little Farther West with his wife Susie on keyboards. The group has released five albums, "A Little Farther West," "Mountain Storm," "God Must Be A Cowboy," "Christmas On The Line," and "Vaya Con Dios." A Little Farther West has held local residencies at historic Route 66 venues The Beach House and C&J's Restaurant and appeared as opening act in concert with Michael Martin Murphey and Sons Of The Pioneers. They have performed multiple seasons at such Old West celebrations as the Pawnee Bill Wild West Show at the Pawnee Bill Ranch and Will's Country Christmas at the Will Rogers Birthplace Ranch. |

| Search | Add | 12 | Bradley G | Bradley Green | British DJ/Producer, co-founder of [l=FTD Records], son of [a339122] He began his career as a guitarist in a band called "Destiny" who played the London club scene in the mid 1990s. Bradley G went on to found the band [a=Wizkid (2)] who produced and played with experimental forms of dance music to club goers in and around London. In 1997 Bradley G established "Eastside Studios" with partner, House music producer and DJ Colin Russell, in a new purpose built complex above the popular nightclub "Harlequins" in Ilford, east London. The Harlequins nightclub is rumoured to be one of the places where the popular UK music genre "Garage music" is thought to have originated.[citation needed] Eastside ran until 1998 when Bradley G formed FTD Records and built the "Skylight Studios" with Tony Ruby in the same building complex. In late 1999 the "Skylight Studios" moved to a converted house in East London, renamed "The Attic" and ran for a further three years. In 2002, "The Attic" moved to its final location, "Ferry Lane" Studios in Rainham, Essex. Bradley G’s most successful release was “Sweetheart”, released on Valentine’s day (Feb 14th) 2001 This track was number 1 in the garage charts for 11 weeks . The record was distributed by FTD Records in association with the then popular pirate radio station Erotic 101.3FM. In late 2002, nearly a year after release Bradley G issued a repress of "Sweetheart" limited to 1,000 copies. These final copies were numbered FTD0001 – FTD1001 and sold out within one hour of going to market. Bradley G also performed a UK tour of Sweetheart with Jennifer O’Kane and MC Sel at the height of the tracks fame. In March, April and May 2001 they performed in excess of 100 live PA’s at many UK & worldwide club venues. Bradley G finally left UK Garage in 2004 and went on to produce a mainstream band lead by Charlotte Jackson at Ferry Lane Studios. Bradley dismissed Charlotte and the project after a lengthy argument with third party publishing company who refused to allow the use of a song they had already recorded. In 2013 Bradley decided to start up his own franchise of https://www.greenssteakhouse.com/ where he is also executive chef. |

| Search | Add | 12 | Funky Frankenstein | Company Bio: A creative outlet and record cutting service based in the heart of Tennessee. Lathe Cutting is a process which utilizes a sharp cutting stylus to engrave or emboss sound grooves onto a disk. Lathe cut records are an alternative to the modern practice of pressing records with metal plates. In lathe cutting a voice coil is used to drive a needle which cuts the sound waves into the revolving disk beneath it. This method has long been used for producing lacquer masters, which are then used to make metal plates for pressing. Most of the machines used for this purpose were manufactured pre-1960. Our particular machine (Presto 75A) began production in 1938. In recent years many people have begun experimenting with utilizing these machines to produce limited edition, unique records out of unorthodox materials such as picnic plates and plastic disks. | |

| Search | Add | 12 | Frank McLallen | Frank McLallen | After two decades as one of Memphis’s most trusted sidemen, Frank McLallen is stepping into the spotlight with Extra Eyes, his first full-length solo album on Red Curtain Records. On this album, McLallen emerges as a songwriter whose voice balances vulnerability with poise, somewhere between the stark intimacy of Will Oldham, the luminous pop sensibility of Big Star, the surrealist wit of Robyn Hitchcock, and the sleek clarity of Role Model. Extra Eyes is a vibrant, eclectic collection that showcases McLallen’s expansive creativity and distinctive voice. Sonically, it weaves together power pop, psychedelia, and surrealist rock, while lyrically, its through-line is honesty. “It’s allowed me to write and record ideas with no goal in mind other than to come from an honest place,” McLallen says. “That means melodically, lyrically, stylistically honest. It’s what came naturally.” A seasoned figure in Memphis’s underground music scene, McLallen has played bass in Ex-Cult, backed Jack Oblivian with the Sheiks, chased twang with the Tennessee Screamers, and powered the garage-pop urgency of Model Zero. But Extra Eyes is different. It is intensely personal, written in the wake of loss and renewal as a reclamation of his love of music and his artistic rediscovery. |

| Search | Add | 12 | Paul Mols | Paul Mols | As a kid I was always into music, especially rhythmic stuff. That's why it was almost inevitable I started to produce music. First with a free music maker-a-like program which I didn't like, so after 1,5 month I switched to Fasttracker II (who didn't). After I met Deester, he adviced me to switch to ModPlug Tracker which I still use after all these years. My mainproject is [a=Carnage], and I have a couple of side-projects. All of them are serious except for Garbage and The Evil Sons. In 2002 I saw that a lot of friends didn't have a smallest chance on a release, eventhough their tracks were very good, and definately release-quality. I decided to start my own label. It took me 2 years to get everything sorted out (I'm lazy sometimes :P). In January 2004 [l=Underground Society] was a fact and the first release was out. In the meanwhile I got a contract at [l=Zero Tolerance]. For me it's not a challenge to release on my own label, so I try to release as much as possible on other labels. But because I'm always very busy (and most of time I don't have much inspiration) the tracks are finished in a very low tempo. Still some nice things coming up :). |

| Search | Add | 12 | Dansbandet Chiquita | Dansbandet Chiquita | In 1968, [a1791359] formed, together with some friends, an orchestra in Alingsås, Sweden. The band was renamed to Chiquita Brass in 1972, and as that Chiquita Brass had an entry on the Swedish charts on June 1, 1975. But, during the disco-era, from 1977 to 1979, the orchestra both skipped the last word Brass and also played disco music. In 1981, there was another style change and back was what it all started with in 1968, and that is what the orchestra still performs, i.e. dance music at dance venues. Members in the orchestra between 2009 and 2014 were [a1791382] - vocals, guitar, saxophone; [a1791359] - bass, backing vocals; [a1791373] - keyboards, accordion, vocals; [a16044588] - drums, vocals. In 2015, Jörgen and Simon were replaced by [a1791368] - keyboards, accordion, vocals; Thomas Andreasson - drums. In 2018, [a1791368] left the orchestra and is since then replaced by [a3502393]. Martino Borén, drums and voals, is also a new member since 2019 and is replacing Thomas Andreasson. |
