Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

(Pisma S Iznanki, PSI – Letters From The Inner Side) saw the light once in summer night 2004 in an empty room somewhere in Moscow, Russia. Its name has appeared of its own accord, from nowhere, and has fastened tightly to the project. Initially, harsh digital noise was the basic guideline for PSI, but soon project push the envelope and embrace all fields of post-industrial. Now (2008) PSI is going to create gloom and brutal soundscapes that put the listener in a horror world of his own dismal remembrances. Neither occultism nor abstract researches are the inspiration source for PSI but awful russian reality that’s around us: repeating hell of everyday life, dull insanity, loneliness, hopeless gloom from inside and thousands of personal apocalypses that are going on every minute all around – all that things without rules and dogmata inspire PSI. |

| Search | Add | 12 | Jang Young Gyu | JANG Young-gyu is a music director who leaves addictive rhythm and tone color regardless of genre. In 2009, he worked on as many as five films, Paju, Woochi, A Million, Running Turtle, and The Actresses, which evidences movie directors preference for his music. His arrangement and performance of "Dont let me be misunderstood" in <The Good, the Bad, the Weird>(2008), which he collaborated on with DALPALAN, presented forceful beat and excitement to the movie. He started his film music career on <The Foul King>, and worked on <The Coast Guard>, <A Bittersweet Life>, <Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance>, <Hypnotized>, <Tazza: The High Rollers>, and other movies that used intense music. In <Dasepo Naughty Girls> and <Antique>, he used musical numbers, which is rarely attempted in Chungmooro. He plays in the indie band AuAuBu Project and worked as the music director of a dance performance of the renowned dancer, Pina Baush. In 2010, he worked on <The Yellow Sea> by the director of <The Chaser>, NA Hong-jin. | |

Some have referred to his raw style as Outsider Grunge Folk. Andrew Neil Has written nearly 450 songs since his musical journey began in the winter of 2009. He began to write songs out of the blue following a head injury he sustained in a car accident in Apr 2009. Andrew continues to write songs by ear. He knows little to nothing about basic chords and music theory, yet his music resonates with many people. The most common response to his music is that it is raw, yet so authentic and real. It sticks to folks. |

| Search | Add | 12 | Φυτά | ΦΥΤΑ | ΦΥΤΑ (plants) split in November 2013 after a frantic course in the field of botanical music/art creativity. What would one mostly remember of the scandalous path of the adventurous duo from northern Greece! The songs that talked about all pessing human issues and were so loved by ordinary people and critics? The partnerships with household names of the Greek-speaking music scene? The shimmering guests that honoured with their presence their historical (now) first concert? Let ‘s see how it all began. FYTA consist of F89 and F78, two controversial personalities with different backgrounds. F89 has always wanted to deal with music but did not manage (evil tongues say it’s due to lack of talent) and found support in the musically experienced F78 who always believed in young kids with vision and passion. Together they started working on their botanical debut ΑΝΘΗ (flowers). Soon, new pathways seemed to appear and they decided that music as we know it does not suit them and so with their second album they introduced a new genre, so-called bratmusik (fried music) where frying is both literal (recordings in the kitchen and a special interest on cooking themes) and metaphorical (crispy sounds, sautéed feelings and fatty performances). Some more releases on and after they had enough of music and music had enough of them, they decided to move to the fine art world and express themselves freer as it were, if you know what i mean, in three-dimensional space. So alongside another 50 special friends, they began building a shambling playground at the athens biennale. Harsh stuff were expressed about this controversial project, including ‘ You are even worse than Plato’. A little later, FYTA decided to consensually split due to internal disagreements. Today, long after their split, FYTA break the silence. They are the hostesses of the FYTINI portal, where the special friends they acquired all these years joyously come together to devise creative disasters. FTN’s main principle was that of FYTA themselves: ‘no more boredom in the Greek / Greek-speaking music scene’. |

His talent for music, but also for acting, was noticed in his student days in his hometown, so he continued to sing as a student. The first song he recorded for Radio Skopje in 1956 was "Indiana" by Dragan Gjakonovski - Spato. It has a rich discography with 524 recorded songs, which is one of our most productive singers. Lately, he has been engaged in writing a book about his rich life, which, as he reveals to us, will be called "Life dedicated to music".

Together with a long-time musical acquaintance, Lars Wessel, he went on to create the foundations of the band. The first groundwork had been laid when Rhea Logan joined the band in March 2011 as a vocalist, composer and the author of lyrics. In late 2011, during the process of working on the band's first material, the concept for Revolution Unfolding was born. Set on that course, the band focused on writing, composing and arranging the new songs for the next several months, concluding in April 2012 with the recording of vocals in the Silent Wings Studio in Oer-Erkenschwick, Germany. During that time, Alex von Uchtrup joined the band forces with his bass guitar.

| Search | Add | 12 | Caroline Schub | Caroline Schub is a multi-media artist [b.1990] from the Hudson Valley, New York. After years of living with chronic illness starting from childhood, she began documenting herself as a form of self-preservation and survival. Her work is an unauthorized public record of a chronic illness. These portraits have been created using different mediums and exist in varying scales while pushing through vacillating emotional filters of rage and fear. Caroline’s understanding of her body's capacity for degeneration forms the double-edged sword that inspires her work. Her method of image creation has more in common with the labor of construction work than with the weaving of dreams. [Quoted from her homepage] | |

| Search | Add | 12 | Jordan Wayne Lee | Jordan Wayne Lee | Jordan Wayne Lee creates experimental instrumental rock music based in Los Angeles, California. Creating atmospheric and ambient soundscapes inspired by nature, ambient sounds and a spiritual lens. Songs are created with guitars looping and layering multiple effects in single takes and combining with layering unconventional tones through a 1971 Fender Rhodes. His goal is to explore layers of noise with self-imposed restrictions. Finding complexity within tones and effects while taking a minimal approach to recording and composition. As an art director and designer, he approaches the tonality, notation, composition and arrangements from a designed perspective integrating tempo and composition that is heavily influenced through the use of the golden ratio, grids and design fundamentals as sound explorations. Jordan grew up playing in a number of punk rock, shoegaze and hardcore bands in the Pacific Northwest on the outskirts of the Seattle grunge scene. Later he went on to play in multiple projects in TN, studying music, theology and communications in college and playing in a number of bands opening for national touring acts. Life led him in a different direction through digital design - working with major global brands - and he stepped away from music for almost a decade. This is a collection of work from life experience, design and spirituality. |

| Search | Add | 12 | Kady Rain Official | Kady Rain | Kady Rain is an award-winning Christian music artist and worship leader from Opelika, Alabama, now based in Huntsville. She has spent years serving in worship ministry, using her music and leadership to encourage believers and bring God’s presence into every space she enters. Her music—including singles like “I’m a Woman,” “One More Minute,” and “Decade of Freedom,” as well as her EP Cinderella Story—blends personal testimony with Scripture, rooted in her favorite passage, Psalm 91, and carries messages of hope, faith, and God’s faithfulness. In 2021, while serving in a worship production in Charleston, Kady felt a deep burden on her heart for her home state of Alabama. After returning home, she prayed, asking God where to begin this vision. In that quiet moment, the Holy Spirit spoke clearly: “Huntsville.” At the time, she didn’t even know the city existed. After confirming with a close friend, she understood that God was preparing something extraordinary. This supernatural leading became the foundation of Alabama Worships. Through Alabama Worships, Kady’s vision is to unite churches beyond denominational lines, mentor worship leaders, empower young Christian artists, and host gatherings that glorify Jesus Christ. Beyond music, she is passionate about guiding young adults in their faith, encouraging them to build godly foundations in their relationships, and equipping the next generation of worship leaders. Kady continues to lead with passion, purpose, and a heart for God’s presence, inviting everyone to join her in lifting their voices in worship and unity across Alabama. |

All members, including De Groot, have since worked together in partial formations. As a collective they created Nasmak PM (PlusMinus) in 2018. PM mainly stands for PlusMinus, to indicate that the line-up is variable and it is not just about the old Nasmak: members have left, or are sometimes unavailable, and there is also a desire to be able to work with guests. Nasmak PM started 40 years after the founding of Nasmak by Joop, Henk and Toon. PM1 Perpetuum Moblie: “[m=3384664]” (2023) is the first album of this renewed collaboration. It is called Perpetuum Mobile, because the 9 tracks on it are related to material from the early Nasmak days.

| Search | Add | 12 | Benks Ez Boy | Kemar Harrison, professionally known as Benks Ez Boy, is a passionate and driven Reggae/Dancehall artist from Islington, St. Mary, Jamaica. From his early days, he developed a deep love for music, influenced by icons like Bounty Killer and Buju Banton. After relocating to Waterhouse, Kingston, in the late 1990s, his exposure to Jamaica's vibrant music culture grew, but it was in church where his talent was first recognized. As lead singer of the Lincoln Kirk United Church choir and co-founder of the gospel group Young Soldiers for Christ, he built a foundation of vocal control and stage presence that still shapes his artistry today. Benks' transition into Reggae and Dancehall music was marked by breakthrough moments that built his reputation as a rising star. In 2017, he gained his first major radio buzz with "We A Hold A Vibes", followed by breakout street popularity with songs that earned him recognition for his creativity and bold style. His remixes of Runtown's "Mad Over You" (Protect We Woman), Ella Mai’s "Boo’d Up", and Post Malone & 21 Savage’s "Rockstar" (Worldclass Badness) gained traction among dancehall fans, while "Hot Dalla", inspired by his real-life job as a minibus conductor, became a cult favorite among bus drivers, conductors, and passengers for its humor and relatable storytelling. This street-level recognition laid the groundwork for a growing catalog of original singles, including "Can't Stop Me", "Lonely", "Nah Guh Let You Go", "Change It" featuring Deeno Jay, "Believe In You", "Day One", and "One Link". His collaboration with Lawgiver the Kingson on "Queens Treat Refuel" connected him with Reggae audiences. Notably, many of Benks’ releases, including "Hustler Story", "Shame Dem", and "Gorillaz", have been launched under his own label, Ez Boy Entertainment, showcasing his independence and entrepreneurial drive. In recent years, Benks has continued to push forward with consistency. Tracks like "Forgive Me", "Unstoppable" featuring Vandal, and "King Kong" expanded his reach, while the release of his 2023 EP "Ready Now", co-produced by Threelake Music and Ez Boy Entertainment, further solidified his presence. This EP features six collaborators from his circle, blending Reggae and Dancehall, and showcases Benks’ growth as both an artist and producer. Beyond his studio work, Benks Ez Boy has strengthened his presence through live performances across the country, interactive shows on TikTok and Instagram Live, and interviews on leading Jamaican TV and radio stations. These platforms have helped him connect with a broader fan base and showcase the charisma that makes him a standout performer. Looking ahead, Benks is dedicated to consistency and growth, with fresh material lined up for Ez Boy Entertainment’s "Happi-Nest Riddim". His vision is clear: to continue delivering music that reflects his journey, his hustle, and his love for the culture and Caribbean roots. | Search | Add | 12 | Orkater | Dutch theater company which originated from [a1346918]. The Orkater name is a combination of the Dutch words orkest and theater (orchestra and theatre). The company makes mostly contemporary music theatre, newly written and newly composed. Orkater cherishes the freedom with which performances are conceived, made and presented. The inevitable consequence is that no hard-and-fast policy can be followed when the repertoire is put together. In some Orkater productions, disciplines other than music theatre may have the upper hand. The location varies from a studio to a municipal theatre, from a museum to an outdoor summer festival. Although some would say that Orkater productions are always recognizable because of their "Orkater signature", they vary in character, scale and as to the cast. Orkater does not work with a regular group of performers - for many actors, musicians, directors, composers and text writers Orkater is the place where they can evolve their own ideas about music theatre. Orkater strives to present abroad those productions that are suitable for it, preferably in the language of the host country. Since the mother company [a1346918] (1972-1979) split to form De Horde (The Horde, 1981-84) and [a3939032] (The Mexican Hound, 1980 to present), there has always been confusion over the name. At the moment all productions are presented under the name Orkater, with the exception of those by writer/director Alex van Warmerdam, who operates under the name De Mexicaanse Hond. Orkater and De Mexicaanse Hond are grouped together under the umbrella of Stichting Orkater (The Orkater Foundation). Orkater has its own CD label ([l127050]). Over the years, Orkater productions have received critical acclaim from both public and press. Orkater has been honoured with numerous awards, national and international. | |

| Search | Add | 12 | Ellis McLintock | Ellis (Lee) McLintock | Canadian trumpeter, conductor, arranger, born in Toronto November 18, 1921 and died in Stratford, Ontario September 25, 1997. McLintock studied cornet with his father, Ellis, and trumpet with A.J. Williams. In 1936, McLintock placed first in the audition for the Canadian contingent of the British Empire Boys' Band, and toured England for two months. After his return to Canada, he won an RCM scholarship. The Toronto Philharmonic Orchestra made him fourth trumpet in 1937, and the following year, while still a high-school student, he joined the TSO as principal trumpet and simultaneously held the same position with the RCM and the University of Toronto. He also began to be heard on radio at that time. McLintock undertook further studies in New York in 1940 and 1941 with Ernest Williams. He toured in 1941 throughout North America as a member of the All-American Youth Orchestra under Stokowski, then served as soloist with the Central Band of the RCAF in Ottawa. McLintock was principal trumpet 1944-5 again of the TSO and 1952-63 of the CBC Symphony Orchestra, and also played in CBC radio orchestras under Lucio Agostini, Jack Kane, Bert Niosi, and others. He led his own dance band (Ellis McLintock, His Trumpet and Orchestra) 1944-50 in Toronto (Casa Loma, Palais Royale), Montreal (Belmont Park), and Peterborough, Muskoka, and Burlington, Ont; the band ranked as one of the leading Toronto groups of the swing era. McLintock began playing for television shows in the 1950s and 1960s, such as The Wayne and Shuster Show, Cross Canada Hit Parade, and The Music Makers, and worked at Stratford's Festival Theatre under Louis Applebaum. During the 1960s he again led a dance band (Old Mill, Toronto), established the Ellis McLintock Concert Band, and was music director for the Community Folk Art Council of Canada (which presented the annual "Nationbuilders - Canada" at the CNE Grandstand) and of the Canadian Pavilion Concert Band at Expo 67. In later years, after cancer surgery left him unable to play his instrument at the same level, he taught high-school music, first in Thornhill, Ont, and then in Orillia, Ont, retiring after 1986 to Delhi, Ont. He and his second wife, Erna, moved to Stratford, Ont, around 1993. McLintock was named 1994 Musician of Distinction by the Toronto Musicians' Association. |

| Search | Add | 12 | Mal Perry | Malcolm Levy | Mal Perry was born Malcolm Levy in 1939 (Died April 16th 2010) into Liverpool's Jewish community and his parents were proud of his excellent singing voice. He was writing songs from the age of 10, which impressed [a46481]. In 1958, he was second in a contest organised by the National Association of Boys Clubs and he went on tour with [a305596]. A businessman, Woolfe Bednash, wanted to manage him and, as Bednash's favourite singer was [a27516], he renamed him Mal Perry. Perry recorded for the new Fontana label, owned by Philips, and his first single was a cover of the novelty song, "Lollipop". His big voice was put to better use with "Make Me A Miracle" and he appeared on ITV's Cool For Cats and BBC TV's 6.5 Special. [a298528] invited him to do a record signing in his NEMS shop in Liverpool, but Perry's road manager left the records in the back of a car and they melted in the sun. He was featured in a rock'n'roll show at Liverpool Stadium in 1960 and also in the stage show Wackers' Playtime with [a390808]. He was backed in the Liverpool clubs by the beat groups, Cass and the Cassanovas and the Remo Four and John Lennon asked him, without success, to record the songs he was starting to write with [a35301]. Although Perry recorded five singles including his own song, "The Girl Next Door" and had a residency at the Astor Club in London, he soon gave up the business. "My father wanted me to sing in the synagogue and my mother didn't like me being in London," he said 2007. "I didn't like it much myself. Back then, they thought you were a second class citizen if you came from Liverpool." Perry went into the family retail business and then opened his own clothing store. He often sold suits to the beat groups and he also sang in synagogue choirs. In later years, he did a variety of jobs but the urge to perform never left him. He sang media ads for Colorvision and Johnny Goggles. |
