Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024
Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Zirnoise | Zirnoise aka Matei Vasilache is a film music composer based in Bucharest, Romania. He has started studying music since childhood, his main instrument being violin. Later on he studied piano and lastly, guitar, which finally became his main instrument. Afterwards, he started experimenting with another side of music, recording and producing the music of the bands he played with along the years. A while later, Matei studied Sound and Editing in Film School. The years spent there have combined his love for music with the newly discovered world of film, and graduating from a Master programme in the art of film sound helped a lot in consolidating this link in his work.

Search | Add | 2 | Fuck Your Birthday | [a6546567] is an American garage rock / math rock band born in Morgantown, WV, and currently based out of New York City and Wenzhou, China. Formed in 2012, vocalist/guitarist [a7535441] (an ESL teacher in Wenzhou) and drummer [a6546568] (a NYC-based photographer) have maintained a prolific stream of DIY releases and touring activity, despite their frequent time apart (12 time zones apart to be precise). After a brief stint as a trio with bassist/vocalist Michelle Fincham, who is featured on the January 2014 EP The Cymbal Barks Louder Than You, [a6546567] forged ahead as a duo, embarking on their Jet-lag Revival Tour followed by the Li EP in October 2014 (recorded, mixed, and mastered by [a4620178] of Akron, Ohio’s [a6554685]). June 2015 saw the release of the Future Teller EP, at which point the band began working on material for a full-length record. Crafted over frequent Megabus treks between New York and Morgantown, [a6546567]’s debut LP, Touchless Automatic, was released in April 2016. Touring was not possible at this time as Christopher had recently graduated and accepted a job as an ESL teacher in Wenzhou, China. The following year, in April of 2017, Roman travelled to Wenzhou for [a6546567]’s first international tour. Spring Roll 2017 spanned two weeks and 8 cities in southern China (Wenzhou, Shenzhen, Dongguan, Guangzhou, Changsha, Nanchang, Xuzhou, Shanghai – watch “Live in Shanghai” via the FYB YouTube channel). In October 2017, Roman returned to Wenzhou to play more shows and work on new material. A selection of these sessions will be released as [r=12156753] on [l545739], available June 8, 2018, in a limited edition 6-panel Digipak CD format and at digital retailers worldwide.

Search | Add | 2 | Ella Dot Motions | Calvian "Vian" Pangerti | In 2012, Vian had known as a member in one of Malang’s dance crew. Furthermore, he also was known as music editor and mixer in some of the dance competitions. When he and his family had moved into Banyuwangi, he decided to act in EDM music as a DJ. In the middle of 2013, he began to learn anything about EDM was he got an influence from his first’s favorite EDM track “Water of Nazareth” by Justice. Tried to make a simple track, but he felt that genre hadn’t his passion. Since in the end of 2013 were Djakarta Warehouse Project 2013 had to attend, he got many pieces of knowledge when he tried to find much information about that festival’s lineup, such as Breakbot, Alesso, David Guetta, until Zedd. He felt so interesting progressive house, and he tried to learn how to produce it with his first’s project name “E.L.L.A”. He always tried to find something new about EDM, and learn all about it. Many genres he had learned, and he realized if Dubstep is so hard for him to produce. When he was 17, he has his own passion in EDM were always give a mellow and sad story like ambient. He tried to combine among ambient with progressive house, and that was an origin of Ella Dot Motions were dot means the end of the sentence or anything, while motions mean mood or feels were always contained in his track or in his lyrics. In a fact, he always put Ella’s name in his project name because that’s his first-love girl name was met him for a moment and gone. In other hands, she was his first inspiration to decided his EDM world’s journey. 2015 is the year of electronic dance music were have many new styles had appeared, and Vian also had become as a student in English Department in Jember University. He always writes any song’s lyrics and tried to produce it in his own EDM style. In the middle of 2015, he accidentally found an EDM style was so comfortable with him, and that had no differences with his style. When he tried all about that style, he realized if he adopted a Chillout-ambient style, and he decided to still adopt that EDM style and mixed with that chillout-Ambient until now. In 2017 early, he decided to cover his identity and his appearance when performed. Sometimes, he becomes a ghost producer or produces songs for another artist without writing his name on that song’s credit. Just his family and his friends know about him and his personality while all of his info on his social network’s account had deleted by himself. |

Search | Add | 2 | Krisdeberg | Krisdeberg are an electronic four piece formed at a party in Moby's house from Dublin. Krisdeberg formed after a chance meeting at a party in Moby’s house, still high on orange juice and vintage drum machine grooves. The newly bonded four-piece seized this moment of karmic kismet and resolved to make some music. Drawing on influences ranging from LCD Soundsystem all the way to James Murphy, Krisdeberg are a completely self-produced, self-recorded project. Locked away in their studio and armed with synthesisers, drums/machines and some noise; they began work on their first collection of songs. Months of work have resulted in the release of their debut single Lies. A snap-shot our all too common habit of deceiving ourselves set against a rhythmic, synth driven soundscape. Lies is available on Spotify, iTunes and all major streaming services and stores.

The band started in Val Venosta (BZ) 'Trentino Alto-Adige' (Italy), where it made a fair success with a single called 'She is Susy - Across the water' in the early 90s. 'She is Susy' is the song on the side A of the vinyl 45 rpm, while the side B song is entitled 'Across the water'. The Warriors In The Fog recorded their first single at the “Infernal Recording Studio” in Mira (Venice) from December 1989 to January 1990. It was self-produced, published and distributed by the band in 'Veneto' and 'Trentino-Alto Adige' regions in summer 1990. In 1990, and for a few years on, some radios played the record in Val Venosta (BZ) and several clubs in this area listened to and enjoyed the song. 'She is Susy' is considered a unique and very danceable song. The particular genre of music created by the band is considered 'Funky-New Wave'. Later the song made a fair success in almost all the clubs in the region of 'Trentino-Alto Adige' and in some clubs in the region of 'Veneto'. The Warriors In The Fog played live from 1991 to 1992, in some places in 'Trentino-Alto Adige' and 'Veneto', even under a different name, proposing and interpreting famous 'covers'. In performances, the band played dance music for all tastes; during the live performance of the band, the guitarist played the guitar with his mouth or behind his back.
